Notwithstanding earlier comments about Jill Rogers having a face for radio, I think she did a good job at her press conferences today. She spoke clearly, not reading a press release. She conveyed information clearly but carefully and with sensitivity.
She was clear in her boundaries around what she could/would not cover and when she’d finished speaking she stepped away from the microphone to avoid the inane questions from the gasping media.
At the first press appearance this morning, Rogers allowed the muppet who’s been looking to the Phillips family to say the he was pleased it’s over. Best they keep that fool out of the public eye, he’s a disaster.
