They do coastal container shipping through Northport now, a weekly service that seems to work quite well. Just the number of cement pods they load is quite amazing.
I dont know about all the train and tunnel stuff but yep the coastal shipping is right, most of the cement pods head to Lyttleton, I work on one of the ships that transport them

anyways it might look fuck all but the attached pic is 1gram over 4 troy ounces. its retorted and melted fine gold, black sands are a mongrel to deal with so mercury amalgam is the way to do it, i then melted it in a lil crucible with some borax to remove a few of the impurities and last specks of black sand. the black stuff on the gold is just a lil bit of melted borax i havent got around to scratching off as i was just gunna remelt it into an ingot when i got my acetylene bottle refilled.
