Grifters.com, those two. She makes my blood boil just lookin at it.
I wish her nothing but eternal torment in purgatory.
I prefer public crucifiction now, purgatory can wait.
Yep, hope she rots from the inside out, but she won’t, unfortunately.
She will get her ivermectin, etc., and not blink an eyelid.
horrible, nasty bit of human excrement.
and that fat C, Brownlee. He wouldn’t make a Speaker’s A-Hole. Hunty should be Speaker. Hunty would be a glorious Speaker of the House. “What did you say, Swarbrick? Oh, I see. GET THE FUCK OUT and take those clack bunts with ya! “
Hunty
for
Big Beautiful Barnstorming Speaker
I am sorry Sir, you are not either hard enough nor ruthless enough. More training for you before you can apply for the position, but you are on the right track.
“Not hard enough”, just count the notches on the bedpost!!!
💥GET OUT HOOLIGAN!!
Anyone is more ruthless than the fat mangina they currently have to crane into the speakers chair
The catholic mafia at work.
keeping him in.
luxcinda was brought up catholic and has gone even more holy roller than that.
AFAIR in Blinglish’s time they had a weekly mass together for all parties.
The Mad Queen was a lot of things but Catholic wasn’t one of them. She was brought up with the guidance & brainwashing supplied by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).
In about the only rational decision she has taken in the past 45 years she gave the Godbothering the boot in her early 20s.
Ardern catholic???
IDTS
Definitely Not.
Ardern belonged to heluns inner circle of Cauldron stirrers!
He will catch the
South Island disease if he remains there. Better to move north into the world of the living.
Noted.
Apologies if this has been posted before, but this piece (Sourced from the ‘Make your Voice Count’ Facebook page) might be of interest…
“Green Time: When Being Late Means Losing a Year’s Work (But It’s Still the System’s Fault)”
Green Party co-leader Marama Davidson managed the near-impossible this week getting her own Member’s Bill thrown out of Parliament for simply not turning up on time. The Consumer Guarantees (Right to Repair) Amendment Bill, which the Greens had been polishing for over a year, was called for debate but Davidson was nowhere to be seen. National’s Tom Rutherford, doing what any punctual adult would, pointed out the obvious: the sponsor of the Bill wasn’t in the chamber. And just like that, poof a year’s worth of environmental grandstanding disappeared into the ether faster than a compostable coffee cup in a council bin.
The NZ Herald politely called it “slightly late,” as though she’d merely missed the bus, not an entire legislative opportunity. One might wonder if the Greens are now operating on “tikanga time,” where the concept of punctuality is just another colonial construct to be decolonised. Still, for a party that’s always lecturing the rest of us about responsibility and accountability, it’s a touch ironic that their own co-leader couldn’t manage to be in the right place at the right time. Maybe next time, Parliament should issue push notifications or better yet, a solar-powered alarm clock’.
Some years back Marama Davidson’s diary was OIA’d by the press gallery. There was nothing in it, no meetings, zilch, zero.
Guess when you’re used to not doing ANYTHING then something can slip your mind.
She should have consulted her diary //
Dear Diary! Who is the most useless of all?
Now that’s a hard one answer, there is so many, Chloe, Marama!!!
Shows that she has no real committment to the cause. It’s just a pay cheque for doing fuck all. If I’d spent a year putting something together I’d be up early for the big day, have a table booked for dinner afterwards with some mates, and be fizzing at the bung. Lazy bint couldn’t even drag her arse into work.
Ok so more info has come to light. Appears she was only a few seconds late, so maybe I’ve been a tad harsh. Still bloody useless but.
Sorry, there is no fucking excuse. Try being a few seconds late when catching a plane, or a bus or a train. If something is important, you make damn sure you are on time. No ifs or buts. But then I did military training, learnt real quick, never be late. Ever.
It does take a lot of energy to lug that fat arse around, give her some slack!
Takes alot more money to cover it too!
Absolute proof that Marama Davidson and the Greens are Practicing Hypocrites of the First Order and Monumental Dumb Arses who should never be allowed to be in Parliament if they can’t be there to support their own Bill.
Fuckwits!
I like your articulation there, oh Prince of Taumaranui
as you were .
Their stupidity is a give in. Lets look at it this way, they saved us paying for a 2hr debate over a bill that wouldnt be worth the paper its printed on, so while they are fuckwits it was the best thing that could of happened.
Fkuc those green party slimy cnuts. Seymour is the only way out of NZ’s current mess. Notional is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Liarbour are dead in the water. There is nobody else.
Seeless or Whinestone? Im kinda leaning to Shane Jones as he aint taking shit from no one and wants NZ for NZers, just needs to get out from under Whinnie
I’d still like to see how all that $3Billion “regional development fund” Shane and NZF had placed in their hot little hands. Not much to show for it?
The taxpayer are kept far away from reality.
Like a Fund for Ukraine
or the clinton Foundation
or the Paris accord fund
et al
all political slush funds
there is SFA, if anything, straight in politics.
Never forget the helun Clarke foundation,
Now there’s a back pocket charity!
What tax rate is that on, let alone pay tax?
Not until he eats humble pie and apologises for the Jabby and his demands that he made around that.
Had a conversation with one of their MP’s about that just a couple of weeks ago.
His caucus thinks so, but he doesn’t.
Believes he did nothing wrong.
lol. vikeys gone from a dnz know it all to an act know it all.
the countries fucked if vikey decides to back act next election cuz he picks the major electoral failures
I always backed ACT before he deserted the very principle that Act was founded on.
But then I doubt you were even born then.
The Association of Consumers and Taxpayers
was formed in 1993.
and its first entre into politics was a successful election for a new party in 1996.
I think Stupid Boy is more than 29 years old
although his wife will never be so.
Never grew up.
Move on or vote Green.
I’m not forgetting, forgiving, or moving on from Seymour’s ”safe and effective” pushing of the genocide jab.
I will vote green after you do.
Let us all know the day.
Come on hunty, its just move on, never ever vote green or the country will fall.
PSSST
maybe Hunty was around too may ladyboys in thighland
and thinks now he/they is a Fendalton housewife
so, has to vote gween
to assuage ones conscience, dahling .
Allegedly
E. & O.E.
It’s called sarcasm. I wouldn’t cross the road to piss on a Green Party member, even if they were on fire.
I couldn’t watch another person suffer and not act.
I’d call the fire brigade. I’d even put a stamp on the envelope.
No one can say you are not compassionate Harvey paying for the stamp yourself.
I would cross the road and purposely miss aim.
It would take me a minute or so to get a stream going anyway. By that time it would likely be too late.
just don’t piss on the electric fence
⚡ ⚡ ⚡ ⚡
You could just piss on one foot or something. (theirs not yours)
Well Ill agree that if a greenie was on fire I wouldnt piss on them to put them out, id take donations for more fuel to pour on them. Ím not good with spotting sarcam when its just stupid
You havent been told today, have ya
????
That was sarcasm Nunnas.
chloe is our saviour but we need the mega intelect of tpm to help her through some of the tougher issues
Some idiot in the UK with a podcast interviewed chloe and put it on youtube. Shit she sounded stupid but the moron lapped it up and same with most that left comments.
Yep, that guy who interviewed her is an economic genius like Chloe.
Haha your right there. If the definition of genius is: has 2 braincells and both are fighting for 3rd place, I felt dumber for watching 5 min of it then just reading the comments on it.
Wonder how the happy chappies from the south are this morning.
Weren’t in a nice mood yesterday.
Hunty, you should come north for fear of catching their dour disease.
English and Scottish ancestry.
We might have Maori up here, but at least we aren’t dour, sad sacks like them.
A bit of rain and wind and its a disaster.
A few trees down and OMG.
Our last cyclone took out 7000 hectares of pines and nearly flattened a more important town and area than Dunners will ever be.
All they need now is Ecan resurrected and a decent earthquake.
“at least we arent dour(sic), sad sacks like them”…. ummm theres many years of ysb posts by a guy named vikey (bobs curtains owner) that is ample proof the north indeed are very sour sad sacks.
i didnt see or hear much sad sour sackness from south island folk yesterday, few sighs at all the work needed to tidy up around the place but a shrug of the shoulders and into the work theyll go and just get the fuck on with it.
as a poofter townie curtain cleaner you would have zero clue what actual physical work is involved in getting on with life outside of a sweat shop and facebook 🙂
youre very welcome to stay in the north with your scummy bro mates, too cold down here for the fuckers.
anyways look at this tauranga loser trying to earn a darwin award, quick vikey get on temu and order… i rekon you could swallow 1000 and do what this young aspirational chap couldnt!
https://www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/360861977/teens-lifesaving-surgery-after-swallowing-100-temu-magnets
Have you read your own crap of late?
I grew up in Dunners. St Kilda near Caversham Bush. No poo skins down there. That’s a good thing. Wherever poo skins go, trouble follows. Like night follows day. They are a fkin blight on the planet.
C’mon man. I was friends with a Maori guy down there who was a great guy. And his family. Solid folk. They’re not all whinging grifters.
….No poo skins down there…
Well for the fact there were only a couple of Thousand maori in the South island (no Kathmandu stores then or fleecy tops or Warehouse trackies or onesies )
the Ngai Tahu sure own a lot of the revenue producing and asset base of the south Island now.
interesting
as per AI – and it only feeds off the info it is given
According to the 2023 census, 133,656 Māori lived in the South Island,
making up 15.1% of the total Māori population in New Zealand.
The majority of the Māori population (84.9%) lives in the North Island
—————
Given a lot of Maori did not bother with the census it is a govt dept estimate
not that the 2018 or 2023 Census were any good.
Time for the DEI F.wits to give up .
Maths is soooo racist .
numbers smumbers; but that does seem a bit high at 15% in S.I.
off course more than 90% of partly maori are less than one quarter bloodline, at least.
Remember Tony Brown, All black and Otago player who hailed from the mighty Kaitangata , whilst very blond and white, qualified for the maori rugby side.
I think he was one sixteenth.
Why wouldn’t they fill in the census?
Get free KFC for doing that for Maori doing that.
They get more KFC for multiple forms!
Yeah but when you go to the marae for KFC and a census /vote
….God has the last laugh
and you die 20 months later.
or was it the Devil she sold her soul to?
RIP Takutai Moana Natasha Kemp.
⚰️
Amazes me that the other takeaways ain’t in the deal?
Why do KFC get given the governments free largess?
Or is there something we ain’t been told here?
Those chickens they kill because of ”bird flu” – they have to do something with them…
You are doomed then.
Move to Christchurch, where you will be right at home these days with all the ex-Jaffas. (which by the way they are welcome to).
Oh and you surely realise that Ngai Tahu are in charge down there, don’t you?
You need to get out more. You suffer from FITH syndrome. You’re welcome.
That’s going to get you told off.
(Right after he figures out what FITH is.)
I suppose it comes down to which version of socialism is worse when it comes to deciding which one of them is lousier.
Grant Robertson, I believe, is a Fabian Socialist: Fabian Socialism: The Incremental End of Liberty – No Minister
Whereas Jacinda Ardern was a Marxist Socialist: Jacinda Ardern: New Zealand’s Marxist Saint and Soft-Fisted Dictator – No Minister
Using George Orwell’s books as a model, Marxism is Animal Farm, and Fabianism is 1984 (INGSOC – English Socialism, i.e., the Fabian Society).
And we know from people like George Bernard Shaw that the end goal of Fabianism is communism (Bertrand Russell publicly denied it).
Remember adern worked in the Tony B.liar administration.
they were serious Fabian socialists .
Labour Parties across the Anglosphere were Fabian socialists. Helen Clark, as then prime minister, was a Fabian.
Supposedly, Bradbury convinced Cunliffe to move away from incrementalism. That could just be him boasting, but Ardern as prime minister was not Fabian. She was (post) Marxist.
Post-Marxism: From Class Struggle to Discursive Pluralism – No Minister
And my original link on her goes through why she’s a Marxist.
Hipkins was once a Fabian, but he has converted to Marxism: Chris Hipkins: Wearing Fabian Cloak, Wielding Marxist Hammer – No Minister
read a few of your pieces yesterday, loved the one on bomber bradbury. the guys a fucking loser of epic proportion, i hope you sent him the link!
I wouldn’t know how he’d take notice of it even if I tried. He was a self-important know-it-all at university. I doubt Bradbury listens to anyone but himself.
Martyn Bradbury: The Performance of Radicalism – No Minister
In the manner of a broken clock Bradbury gets it right sometimes. His disdain for identity politics & the way its promoters have turned the Left into toxic territory for the male voter is one of them. Some of his observations:
#. “Identity Politic Acolytes followed the holy trinity of woke dogma:
1 – All white men are irredeemable racists
2 – BELIEVE ALL WOMEN that ALL men are rapists
3 – Anyone who supports free speech is a Uniform wearing Nazi who hates the Trans Community.
#. “Pure Temple Politics and the narcissistic social justice minefield of hashtag activism kills the Broadchurch solidarity of class.”
#. “Not one working family in New Zealand is sitting around the kitchen table cancelling each other for misusing pronouns, they are trying to work out how to pay the bills!”
By this he articulates what no other comrade even dares think.
Except he is also a hypocrite and uses identity politics whenever it suits his narrative/performance. I have listed an example of that hypocrisy in my link.
Colin, if the self styled “Bomber” listens to anyone, but himself, then that is one person too many, he is listening too.
I thought it was Bummer?
Reported from down Timaru way.
An elderly man walked into a small diner with his wife and ordered just one hamburger, one serving of fries, and one drink.
When the meal arrived, he gently unwrapped the burger and sliced it in half, placing one piece in front of his wife. Then he counted each French fry—one by one—dividing them into two equal piles. He took a small sip from the cup and passed it to her. She took a sip too and placed it carefully back between them.
They sat side by side, quietly enjoying each other’s company.
People nearby began to whisper. “How sad,” they murmured. “They can only afford one meal.”
A young man, moved by sympathy, walked over and offered, “Please, let me buy you both another meal.”
The old man smiled kindly. “No, thank you, son. We share everything.”
But as he began eating, the onlookers noticed something strange—his wife wasn’t touching her food. She just sat there, watching him with a soft smile, occasionally sipping from the shared cup.
The young man returned, still concerned. “Ma’am,” he said gently, “please let me get you something to eat.”
Again, she shook her head. “No, dear. We’re used to sharing everything.”
When the old man finally finished his half, he wiped his mouth and leaned back, satisfied. The young man, unable to hold back any longer, leaned in and asked,
“Ma’am… if you share everything, why haven’t you eaten yet?”
She smiled sweetly and said,
“I’m waiting for my turn… for the teeth.”
How old is that joke?
Your age, probably.
Doubt you would ever find a joke to post.
I’m sure I have seen it on YSB at least once before – possibly from the same source.
nope
“Facebook’s credibility problemThe social media giant you can no longer trustBut Facebook is in danger of becoming as untrustworthy as the legacy media. That’s the same legacy media which blames this particular social media giant, and others, for the demise of their industry?
I raise the issue after receiving an email from an acquaintance asking if I’d been promoting a health supplement on Facebook called GlycoQ Blood Support.
Now I confess to having been a pitchman for a health supplement some years ago. But I’m well past my use-by date as some sort of public figure to have any commercial currency.
So I was most definitely NOT promoting GlycoQ – whatever it is. Nor was I talking with Ashley Bloomfield or Russell Crowe about it!
Unfortunately my acquaintance appears to have been caught in a moment of weakness, ordered one bottle at $73.95 but was then charged for 5, a total of $369.75. He tried to cancel the order but couldn’t. Now he has to hope the money back guarantee will refund his money when the goods arrive.
When I started using Facebook over fifteen years ago it was kind of fun. You could reconnect with people from your past, share photos and experiences with family and friends and it was generally a positive experience.
But from about the time the company listed on the stock exchange in 2012 the content seems to have changed dramatically. My feed, and probably yours too, is now completely dominated by targeted advertising and content that they know I’m interested in.
So I’m forever having golf and cricket items to watch and being bombarded with ads for various gadgets and gismos that will either improve my golf swing or fix my sore knee that I complain about to my wife, which Facebook’s listening algorithm obviously picks up on.
Facebook now joins the ever growing list of media that you just cannot trust.
Zuckerberg’s invention of 21 years ago might be one of the most valuable companies in the world. But the longer it exists I wonder what its purpose or relevance is in today’s “post-truth world.”
What was a seemingly innocent idea in 2004 is now sinister. It is not to be trusted.
Sadly it won’t stop us scrolling through our feed but we must learn to be disciplined in our reaction to Facebook content.
So much of it is just plain fake.
Sadly there is a fucking old cunt from Tauranga that believes everything he see on Facebook but has so much bile inside him cannot help being a complete shit arse to everyone.
Peter Williams – Substack.
Mmmm
Well, when I see Peter Williams
I recall he read the fake news for teevee enzed for many decades
so how about a rain check on morality .
He took the 30 pieces of silver
Not for one or two years but for a whole career
so all things from him come with a warning for moi
you cant be a fake news-reader for decades for MSM
then when the gig is up
suddenly become a born-again thought leader.
It just does not work that way.
and does he even know that Fakebook is a DARPA construct/product
Does he know what DARPA is and Does?
Does he tune in and listen to Whitney Webb and Snowden?
Too much time with MSM has dulled the boy.
I use Wikipedia
I know it has its flaws but I read it knowing its limitations and bias.
One has to apply filters accordingly.
suddenly become a born-again thought leader.
If Christians can do it, why not news readers?
Williams is slippery.
How nice,
That you and Peter Williams fail to understand the nature and the use of Facebook is not surprising, and for your information, it is currently changing again.
It’s a community forum where people can post all manner of things, where various interest groups from anywhere in the world can meet and chat, and importantly, lots of local news gets posted there for local people.
There are thousands of local groups talking about their communities and activities.
It’s the most read forum in the world, and FB doesn’t normally interfere is those postings. Postings that do have a set of rules around them.
What you watch or attract is entirely down to your choices, which you can set.
No doubt there are groups that are Dalia growers and competitors. Something that is of interest to you, so are you denying that you wouldn’t want to follow and join those groups?
What interests others can be shared with others, and being an inquisitive person, that is me.
I happen to think others may want to know about things in the world.
My long-standing thing has been to “Learn Something New Every Day”
Won’t do that watching telly.
While you complain about FB, I don’t hear you complaining about YouTube videos.
They are of the same nature as posts on FB. The difference is that you can anonymously access them. Well, you think so, but the info is captured, like it or not.
There is nothing that is not captured, even worse if you knew the full extent of the details captured, even from YSB.
There was an article the other day about pricing and how your information is used to price all manner of things that you can buy. airlines being a biggy. banks, and any online seller. Uber Eats, Uber anything, and thousands of others, including your grocer.
If I see it again, I will post it up.
Understanding all this is a challenge, and many don’t, can’t be bothered, and that leaves them as the prey.
Endeavouring to censor the internet is doomed to failure, so we have to be aware.
Being aware means knowing what is happening in the world.
Trump thought he knew.
That didn’t last well.
Gaza will never be solved the way it is, and he still doesn’t understand the Mother country.
Its a jungle out there.
As for being old. Age is only a number and has more to do with you cognitive ability than your physical age.
Calling me names may make you feel good, but really is a waste of your energy. A habit you have picked up from your bestie.
Have a nice day in the sun.
And that’s what got you bullied at school.
You seem to have an obsession with bullies, don’t you?
Go see a psychiatrist for your issue.
youre a very gullable muppet, i cant work out how you didnt succumb to the covid propaganda… probs did and just a lying old cunt.
youll be spruiking digi id soon, telling everyone its great and no doubt itll make logging onto facebook easier.
You can’t work out what day of the week it is, so no one would expect you to understand anything other than your porn diary.
As digi ID you already are there, even if you are in denial.
You are welcome to read on by.
No one forces you to read anyone else’s posts other than your inbuilt nastiness and overinflated ego that you are someone, and your narcissistic tendency to want to be liked and famous in your own mind.
Craving for attention is what Jacinda did, and that’s your level of look at me, look at me.
No wonder you live in the backwoods. No one could exist alongside of you.
I bet you’re fun at parties ///////
Always have fun at parties. Just don’t go to parties with dunderheads and pricks like you.
aw hell you left out a trigger warning for our resident zucker cocksucker…. 3….2…1… vikey reeeeeeeeeee
This is no doubt that both Rawiri Waititi & Debbie Ngarewa-Packer are both Race-Marxist grifters. While it is probably true that they want wealth peddling it, they want power most of all.
Rawiri Waititi: Neo-Marxist Stooge – No Minister
Debbie Ngarewa-Packer: Vanguard of the Neo-Marxist Rebrand – No Minister
I suspect Tamihere is the one who just wants wealth peddling it.
John Tamihere: From Waitakere Man to Race-Marxist Grifter – No Minister
Rawiri is about as bright as a 15W lightbulb.
His father in law is mercurial & a world class ventriloquist.
I don’t believe Waititi understands or looks to Marx as his inspiration. He operates on a more basic level.
He feels racism, actually his own victimhood, and a strong greed. A combination ENTITLING him to GIMME GIMME. 🤡
To quote myself:
I umm-ed and arr-ed about titling him as a Neo-Marxist Clown or not. I settled for Stooge instead.
You had a typo there, the point is missing, hes about 1.5w not 15w
Tamihere, the grifter, is also the ringleader of nigga.co.nz /agitator.com.
He is filth.
What an extra large crock of shit. Why would the Hamilton City Council waste money on this, surely there are more important issues like fixing and repairing the damage from last weeks storm?
https://hamilton.govt.nz/your-council/news/culture-events/kirikiriroa-commemorates-he-raa-maumahar
The only good part about that is the bit at the bottom where they ask you if the article was helpful. Of course I clicked no. I have the horrible feeling an alarm just went off in some hidden government ministry we’ve never heard of. I’ll let you know how the re education goes.
get on your boat and get outside the 12 mile limit !
tout de suite , bro
“knock knock knock..we know you’re in there”..
As a law abiding, licenced firearms owner of many years standing I very much want to hear what Brenton Tarrant has to say on this matter. My decision to seek residence in New Zealand in the eighties was very much influenced by the fact that NZ had, back then, what Inspector Colin Greenwood, Britain’s foremost expert on firearms legislation, said were the best, most cost effective gun laws in the world.
I and thousands of other law abiding people who were entirely innocent of the crime committed by Tarrant were seriously affected by his actions and the gross and inexcusable over reaction to those actions by the disgusting, ignorant, virtue signalling Ardern and the police service who were only too keen not to let a good crisis go to waste. So yes, let Tarrant give his evidence and make sure the public is kept informed.
https://www.thepress.co.nz/nz-news/360863946/mosque-terrorist-give-evidence-inquest-march-15-attack
theyll use his evidence to revoke thousands of licences and further restrict firearm and ammo ownership
I have found a future leader for the liebour party.
or indeed, if the Uniparty ponies up honestly and combines, LAB-NAT , then a leader for All Seasons.

A 13-year-old boy has undergone major surgery after swallowing 80-100 small magnets purchased on Temu.
Neodymium magnets have been banned since 2014 but are still available through online marketplaces.
Surgeons at Tauranga Hospital had to remove part of the boy’s bowel after he ate up to 100 of the small magnets, according to a case study in the New Zealand Medical Journal.
and
The Pasifika Medical Association Group said it highlighted the dangers
——————————-
Mmmm why were Pasifika Medical Association involved ?
But he literally could become the Temu Prime Minister !!
Heck, my Sony headphones have Neodymium magnets but I better not eat then.
Will I sound bedder if I do ?
it be vikeys grandkid, loves temu, knows it all and clearly super intelligent.
…..”why were Pasifika Medical Association involved”……
Easy. It’s because this evil coalition has starved the working class Pacific Island people. With KFC along with the humble taro priced out of their reach & access to payday loans denied they are reduced to eating neodymium magnets to survive.
Just seen this:

The Big Takeover Through The Back Door
By Steve Gaskell
So, you thought Māori wards were just about “representation”? Think again. While everyone’s been busy debating flags, karakia, and consultation quotas, a quieter revolution is taking shape in council back rooms — and it’s got “land” written all over it.
The legal machinery already exists. Under Treaty settlements, iwi and hapū have rights of first refusal (RFR) over thousands of Crown-owned properties. The deal is simple: when the government decides to sell, iwi get first crack at buying — no auction, no competition, no market tension, just a polite phone call and a tidy form to sign. Fair enough, perhaps, when it’s about addressing historic grievances.
But now, that model is spreading. Councils, apparently inspired by the Crown’s generosity, have started adopting the same principle for their own property portfolios. Horowhenua District Council has recently approved a policy giving local iwi and hapū first right of refusal over selected council land sales. Wellington and Tauranga have floated similar frameworks. It’s all wrapped up in warm bureaucratic language like “partnership,” “equity,” and “recognising mana whenua interests.” Translation: preferred buyers get first dibs.
And here’s where the plot thickens. With Māori wards and appointed representatives now embedded across councils, iwi have a direct line into property and planning committees. So when those councils “review” their property strategies, who exactly will be sitting on the working group? The same people who stand to benefit from the policy — but don’t worry, it’s all in the name of inclusion.
The next step practically writes itself. First, surplus council land gets quietly offered to iwi. Next, developers are told to engage with mana whenua before building anything more ambitious than a garden shed. Then comes the “voluntary” private land registry — where generous citizens can give iwi the right of first refusal on their own property sales. The Greens have already proposed something along those lines, complete with the word voluntary in bold print, the bureaucratic equivalent of “trust us.”
And how might this be implemented without legislation? Easy — the back door is always more polite than the front one. Councils could offer “incentives” to landowners who participate: a rates rebate here, a zoning favour there, maybe faster consent processing for those who “partner” with mana whenua. Before long, a supposedly optional idea becomes best practice. And best practice, in New Zealand’s bureaucratic world, has a funny way of turning into mandatory policy once the paperwork settles.
Meanwhile, ordinary ratepayers are reassured that it’s all just about “cultural respect” and “mutual benefit.” The problem is that these policies don’t stay in their lane. A clause in a disposal plan, a note in a long-term strategy, a co-governance agreement tucked inside a consultation document — and suddenly the ownership landscape starts shifting, slowly but surely, without a single parliamentary debate.
Even government agencies like Land Information New Zealand already operate these RFR systems as a matter of course. Councils adopting the same approach for their own assets may sound harmless — until you realise local authorities collectively hold billions of dollars’ worth of property. Once that becomes a pipeline of preferential offers, the market no longer operates on a level playing field.
The phrase right of first refusal sounds fair, reasonable, and tidy — but in practice, it creates a two-tiered property market: one for the public, one for those deemed “partners.” And if you think that boundary will stay confined to public land, history suggests otherwise.
That’s how major policy shifts happen in New Zealand: quietly, politely, through the side gate while everyone’s staring at the front lawn.
————————————————–
The message is becoming clearer by the day. If you are young, well educated and ambitious then make plans to leave New Zealand sooner rather than later. With the rapid rise of immigration from the third world and the growing Maori “problem” the future is looking very bleak. Where to go now that the “last best country on Earth” is being so comprehensively screwed up is the problem………
Grievances over what? That nearly 200 years ago they did a deal for something, now the benificiaries of said deal think that they are hard done by, its sheer greed, lazyness and the want to be handed everything that drives this.
Its almost a shame that the Brits came to save them, should have let the French have at it, seen where it went then the Brits could have swooped in and clamed what was left.
The people of NZ have given and given to these bastards, when is enough enough.

A very interesting article and premise, which, when taken to it’s logical conclusion, could result in ‘iwi’ being given first preference on all ‘Domestic’ house sales, with the expectation that their price, and ONLY their price, will be accepted.
Can’t say that that idea will be well accepted but if it’s being done within ‘Government’ circles, it would seem to be only a matter of time…
Mayor Wayne Brown is mourning the lose of the electric bus driver!
Wanker, you bought the bloody dangerous things.
Should take them all of the road, untill an investigation clears them as safe!
Is the bus still considered a zero-emissions vehicle if it catches fire and cremates the driver?
Ssssh, don’t mention all the toxic carcinogens released into the atmosphere.
How would the Greens spin that as good for the environment?
Some people might be glad to get their loved one back in an urn.
Saves them a heap of costs and increases the payout.
You can bet there will be a bloody big payout, even if it was the bus drivers fault.
Ak transport will be paying for the flowers, funeral, vehicles, church, piss up, etc.
Fronting up on the tele, big sob story, etc.

No injuries have been reported.

public transport are fiery fuckers
Interesting interview I saw a few days ago with him
somewhere.
he said next years rate rises will be 7% avg
2026-2027
this is ALL due to the FITH Shitty Rail link (CRL) which is more than double budget and still not finished
Without that millstone the rates rise would be Zero
We will have to take the word of this politician on that !
But public transport really causes so much trouble.
Is it more than it is worth.
This CRL was started by johnny keys, way before its time.
A glory wank with OPM.
There was not a justification on ROI and it has killed business in central city for years. The Mt Eden rail station has been closed for over 6 years so no servicing that area of Eden Terrace.
It never got the flack that the tram to Mt Roskill did. It should have .
A Doco from earlier in the year I saw.
On the US Transcontinental railroad, 3000 km.
1863 to 1869
there was 10 miles of track laid in one day by a crew
all organized under a bet.
28 April 1869, in 12 hours.
Don’t forget that all public transport is subsidized about 80 percent!
This will prove to be be the public transport aficionados’ nightmare in 3D reality! Passengers will put up with unreliability & inconvenience but they don’t relish the the thought of being sautéed over a slow burning bus battery.
All it will take is another couple of human sacrifices & the billion dollar purchase of battery trains for Wellington commuters will be another climate change white elephant. The Rimutaka tunnel is ten kilometres long.
Imagine the carnage of a thermal runaway in that situation.
Auckland Transport and MSM are rapidly trying to cover up the story about the e-bus vs car on Tamaki Dr last night.
From a firefighter who was at the scene: the car was NOT on fire, the bus was. If the car was on fire, they could have easily put it out. They cannot put out lithium ion battery fires.
The lengths they’re going to try and cover up this catastrophe, and death, are insane.
There is no slow burn over a EV battery fire, they are violent nasty things, the equilivent of going 0 to 100 in 2 seconds
Bet the owners are real glad they didn’t go for an electric motor and bloody big batteries in their new ferry that entered service the day before!
Haha yeah your right there. Electric boats are ok, but have to fall in to one of two groups battery electric or diesel electric, batterys are for toys and diesel electric for the rest. I still prefer proper engine powered stuff tho.
That diversity dividend
well, it just keeps paying out

A New Zealand man involved in an international call centre scam that stole the life savings of a vulnerable pensioner has been jailed.
Kanwarpal Singh
appeared at the Manukau District Court on Thursday having earlier admitted 10 charges, including receiving stolen property, taking cars, driving charges and two theft charges.
——–
but
The man on the other end said he was from Apple and, over three phone calls, convinced her to download two pieces of software used to transfer cash overseas.
After the calls, two unauthorised payments were made from her bank account totalling $17,450.
Of the stolen money, $9950 was transferred directly into Singh’s Kiwibank account.
On the same night, he went to Countdown in Māngere and made two withdrawals totalling $4000 in cash.
He then went to another ATM nearby and made two more withdrawals of $500 each.
and
When police caught up with him, he told them he had no idea where the money had come from or who had made the withdrawals, but said it wasn’t him.

yay for that dividend
Dudge Ngaroma Tahana gave sentence of 1 yr 10 month
no mention that there will be a deportation at the end
I am wondering if the Dudge made it less than 2 years to avoid this .
These stories about ”vulnerable pensioner” appear regularly. I always wonder why, with the supposed wisdom of age, these people are too stupid to be able to spot a scam and look after their money. A stranger phones you, tells you to download some software, and you just go ahead and do it? Hard to have much sympathy – and I am also an oldie.
Here, let me jab you with an untested ‘vaccine’. 💉
Stupid people always expect someone else to have the problem. It will never happen to them, and when it does, it’s always someone else’s fault.
A journalist goes to Russia for a documentary. In a little village he saw an old man and asked him to narrate a typical happy story of his village.
The old man smiled and began:”One day, a long time ago, my goat got lost in the mountains. As is our tradition, all the men of the village gathered to drink vodka first and then looked for the goat. When we finally found her, as is our tradition, we all drank some more vodka and all the men in the village each got their turn to mate with the goat. We had so much fun that day!”
The journalist realized that he couldn’t publish such a story so he asked the old man if he had another happy story.
The old man smiled again and started all over again: “Once, my neighbor’s wife got lost in the mountains. As per our tradition, all of the village’s men gathered to drink vodka and then went to look for her. As is our tradition, when we finally found her, all the men in the village got their turn to mate with the neighbor’s wife. We had great fun that day!”
The journalist couldn’t publish that story either and therefore asked: “Don’t you have a story that is less happy; something… umm … sadder?”
The old man’s smile faded. His eyes welled up….. In a sad, soft voice he began: “One day I got lost in the mountains…..

Little known facts about Southern Aucks:
# Female SAs come into season at age 10. They will typically pump out 4-5 Aucklings by the time they are rendered infertile by chlamydia at age 20.
# The education system then takes over & can produce a fully fledged SA by the average expulsion age of 13.
# Once a SA parent can no longer obtain the Sole Parent Support payment Aucklings are cut loose to make their own way in the world.
# The adolescent SA typically begins adulthood at the Otara WINZ office, a major SA gathering spot.
Just like when he was asked “what is a woman?”

Another sign the knives are out for Luxon. Michael Laws talks to Janet Wilson. I’m no fan of Wilson but she is an “insider” so she is worth listening to, especially given the really good questions from Laws.

After months of wrangling and political theatre, the Coalition Government passed the *Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Amendment Bill*. This is a win for every Kiwi who believes in one law for all.
Hobson’s Pledge has demanded this for years, ever since courts twisted plain English to turn “no shared ownership” into shared ownership. This Bill, a coalition promise delivered, restores fairness to the law governing NZ’s beaches and seabed.
Let’s be clear: this wouldn’t have happened without @nzfirst
.
@NewZealandMFA
has fought for public ownership since the 2004 Foreshore and Seabed Act. In 2011, NZ First warned that the Marine and Coastal Area Act (MACA), Chris Finlayson’s pet project, would spark a flood of claims.
History proved them right.
Fourteen years later, this reform—written into the NZ First-National coalition agreement—delivers.
@NZNationalParty
was dragged to the finish line, but credit where it’s due: NZ First carried the torch.
We wanted more, but restoring the law to Parliament’s original intent—before activist judges rewrote it—is a massive step forward.
In 2011, MACA set strict conditions for iwi claims: exclusive use since 1840. Courts later stretched “exclusive” to mean “shared” and expanded “coastline” to include rivers, sparking hundreds of claims covering nearly all NZ’s coast. Finlayson, who once claimed only 10% of the coast would be affected, now criticizes the government while reportedly advising iwi.
The hypocrisy is glaring.
This victory owes much to NZ First’s resolve, especially @CaseyCostelloMP
, a former Hobson’s Pledge leader and current NZ First MP. Her powerful speech defending equality before the law shrugged off Labour’s cheap shots.
We are clearly living rent-free in their heads.
We’d have liked stronger amendments: clarifying MACA isn’t a Treaty grievance vehicle, balancing tikanga with common law, and leveling the playing field so ordinary Kiwis aren’t outfunded by Crown-backed iwi claims.
But this is a significant win.
This belongs to you—every supporter who signed, shared, and spoke up. You kept the pressure on, and it worked.
Your emails, donations, and voices push NZ toward sanity.
We’re not done. We’ll keep fighting for one law for all, ensuring NZ’s future isn’t divided by ancestry. For today, celebrate this victory for common sense and courage.
I’m not sure how or when the ACC normally pays off the media but Daily Telegraph obviously haven’t received anything in brown paper envelops of late. Their article on the bus fire includes a photo of the back of a battery bus proudly sign written to assure the unwashed that “our future is electric”.
And in other news that warms the cockles of this old exS & B cocky’s heart we learn from https://newsroom.co.nz/2025/10/22/meat-alternatives-market-in-trouble-as-protein-hype-sweeps-nz/ that all is not well in the fake meat racket. It seems that even Gen Z have seen through the scam:
#. “Gen Z, encompassing those born between 1996 and the early-mid 2000s, were also the big movers when it came to vegetarian and vegan numbers.
#. “Comparatively fewer now identify as vegan, with a drop from 11 percent to 5 percent since 2023, and those calling themselves vegetarians is down to 8 percent from 18 percent.”
Sucks to be a vegan. Venus Flytraps show them even plants think they’re wrong.
