I feel it is being hinted that the fire in Sanson was a murder/suicide by the father. Many years ago, late 60’s a mother of three young kids went out to a rugby practice before a fun game on the weekend. 90% Inaccurate: Bombshell German Study Exposes the PCR Test Fraud That Locked Down the World
A seismic new study out of Germany has just dropped a truth bomb on the entire COVID-19 narrative, and the implications are staggering.

Only 10-14% of people who tested positive on a PCR test actually had antibodies proving a real infection.
That means the tests were up to 90% INACCURATE. For every 10 “cases” reported, only 1 was likely real.
This confirms what many warned about in 2020: inflated cycle thresholds (Ct) were creating a pandemic of false positives. A separate paper at the time stated that at 35 cycles, the false positive rate was 97%.
They had the antibody data all along. They could have calibrated the tests and stopped the fear cycle. Instead, they chose to run millions of flawed tests, terrorizing the population with case numbers they knew were scientifically meaningless.
Think of the consequences:

Anyone here in a position to share an opinion on heat pump water heaters? Our “on demand” LPG unit is on the way out & thanks to the Mad Queen’s captain’s call on gas exploration replacing like with like doesn’t make a great deal of economic sense.
Any comment on reliabliity, efficiency & installation costs would be appreciated.
For about 14 years or so, we have had a 1000ltr IBC heated by one. Just a small unit and it’s done really well. We don’t run a high temperature with it though but the temp would be similar to what you want for a house.
As we are using more water and the fact that the unit is getting on in age, I have just bought two bigger units from Dunedin. Last 2, I believe.
The company there makes all sorts of fires and went away from the heat pump, although I think Rinnai do one.
I would recommend them if you can get one.
The other good option is to use a pellet fire with a wet back.
The silly gas ban will be overturned like EV’s have been. The world said No Thanks.
Another idea is wood chip burners? Find last nights Country Calendar on chipping wilding pines for industrial boilers.
We have underfloor heating (water pipes) and water cylinder powered by heat pump. Had it for 12 years. Our house is very comfortable temperature especially in winter. Live on the Taieri so get pretty cold in winter. Get it serviced every couple of years. The heat pump
keeps the water temp at setting. But I think it gets a boost once a week. Not sure if this is what you want to know? If I was building again I would invest it same system, but probably Also invest in a log burner. Just in case you can’t get power. Despite not bring vaccinated, haven’t had a cold or flu since I retired. Power bills in middle of winter are now over $500
Installation was about $35,000 but that was 12 years ago.
the folk i used to work for got heat pump/radiator central heating last year, was 45k for 13kw heatpump unit and radiators etc.
nasska the heat pump hotwater tech has got better, if i were replacing mine id go with one now as we were gunna go gas but supply and cost is uncertain.
Personally I have never liked heat pumps. I hate any kind of heating that pumps out hot air as it makes the room too dry. Ed’s suggestion or something like oiled filled heaters would be my preference. Of course living in Whangaparaoa it’s nowhere near as cold as down your way. This winter we never turned a heater on and last year only a couple of times when we had visitors

Go all retro and install a chip heater with a wet back.
The house on the farm we owned was relatively new having been built in the early 60s to replace the original homestead that had burnt down. The owners had salvaged the massive black shacklock & installed it in the new kitchen after converting it to run on home heating fuel. With a dual wetback for H/W & radiators it enhanced our standard of living no end in an area where power cuts were long & frequent.
Alas in the new house in town we’re pushing to find room for an internal H/W cylinder never mind a chip heater which would be my preference too.
Also handy to overide the effects of “Ripple Control” that shed the hot water heating load.
In the name of reducing “peak power” usage.
Move to the 15 minute town.
Now to be ruled by the “Smart Meter” in all its complications.

I do not know why, with in about 5 years of them installing a Smart Meter, they then chased me down to put in an upgrade.

At least by now you can come up for some medical reason, why you should have 24/7 electricity.
Though do remember that will be the trigger to cause your evacuation, as demanded by social services in an abundance of precaution & safety, to wheel you out in a wheel chair, if they deem some emergency why your property will not get power for some period of time.
If lucky to be put into a Civil Defence Base at the local marae or school, & the next roll on to a rest-home. 😮
