And a very good morning to you my fellow Ysb-ers.
To start your day (And as it concerns NZ, and mentions luxflakes, winnie and chloe), this article from online American news outlet The Epoch Times might be of interest. Has NZ dodged a bullet? One wonders.

‘New Zealand Declines Trump’s Board of Peace Invitation

While seeing a role for the Board in Gaza, New Zealand says there’s not enough clarity around how it would operate in relation to the United Nations.

New Zealand has declined U.S. President Donald Trump’s invitation to join his “Board of Peace,” originally envisioned as a body to govern Gaza following the latest war there, but since pitched as a permanent fixture in world geopolitics.
Invitations were issued to heads of state worldwide, with preliminary information indicating that membership would be free.
However, a subsequent draft charter indicated that the United States planned to charge countries at least US$1 billion (NZ$1.65 billion) to extend their terms.

Ministers initially said New Zealand was considering accepting the invitation, with speculation fuelled by Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters’ praise of the United States’ withdrawal from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and his questioning whether it was worth New Zealand continuing to contribute to its funding.
In a social media post on Jan. 23, Peters called WHO “a bunch of unelected globalist bureaucrats” who were “not accountable or responsible with worldwide taxpayers’ money.”

However, on Jan. 30, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon ruled out taking up Trump’s invitation, saying that his government would not to join the Board of Peace in “its current form.”

Peters then took to his official X account to say that New Zealand “recognises the leadership of the United States, in close coordination with nations from the region, on advancing peace in Gaza.”While the foreign affairs minister said New Zealand saw a role for itself in the Board of Peace, he noted the country would not be able to contribute significantly to progress toward peace in Gaza.

“A number of states, particularly from the region, have stepped up to contribute to the Board’s role on Gaza, and New Zealand would not add significant further value to that,” he wrote on social media.

“As a leading founder and longstanding supporter of the United Nations, it is important that the Board’s work is complementary to and consistent with the U.N. Charter.
“It is a new body, and we need clarity on this and on other questions relating to its scope, now and in the future. New Zealand will not be joining the Board in its current form but will continue to monitor developments.”
Meanwhile, opposition parties said it was “embarrassing” the idea had ever been considered.
Earlier this week, Green co-leader Chlöe Swarbrick said the idea could cost billions and equated to setting up “an alternative institution to the United Nations, in which Donald Trump gets to install himself as CEO of planet Earth.” (1)

and yet

it is still CHEAPer than what NZ paus EACH year into the Paris climate accord crapola
that Johnny keys signed the country to

So Johnny keys decided that we should not borrow money – circa 2010- to pay into the Cullen Fund- Superannuation
BUT
That it was OK to borrow over one Billion each year to pay into the paris political slush fund

Cui bono ?
how much does keys get out of this slush fund each year ?

…Productivity and tax:
Ardern lifted the top income tax rate to 39 percent while productivity remained flat. New Zealanders now work more hours than almost any developed nation but produce less per hour than the OECD average. Our GDP per capita went backwards, which is the most important measure of national prosperity…

————-
akshully
Johnny keys started that problem
in 2013
when he opened the flood gates to imigrants

allowing over 100,000 people a year into Auckland (120,000 people per annum, the vast majority of whom went to Auckland ) while no houses were being built, because after 3 years Keys’ Auckland super City never had a proper 10 year plan; the merger was so rushed .

The crude measure was to raise total GDP but it meant that because low quality people emigrated,(often on unproductive student visas) the GDP per capita went down.

House prices raced away due a lack of Supply of housing
NZ used overseas funds to import the non productive assets of cars, fridges, stoves teevees, and household items.
People doubled up in houses so quality of living went down and a house might have 4 cars . I saw this driving the streets in the evening. Big change from 2013 to 2017 where cars were stacked up outside houses; on the berm. on the front lawn

With UNDRIP, added Maorification, paris accord , no emphasis on productividy, mass immigration, no modern structuring of taxes (despite the Sherwin Tax group in 2010 )
John Philip fucking Keys
was NO better than adern

and that sleezy small hat wbanker prattled on about catching up to Australia by 2025

Look >>>over there >>>>>

wouldn’t disagree with that at all. He was a commission man, not a production efficiency man.
Like all Jews, he was about money, his money.

Bob Clarkson pissed him off because he knew how to make money and generate wealth, and was weather that shonkey. Stalled him every which way, the fucking pouncy bloody wanker.

That’s why the houses were not built, and the roads were not done. Typical National twat.
A reminder that Clarkson tipped whinny out of his comfortable seat here.

There is, on youtube (although of course now I can’t find it). a video of a number of countries covid spokesmen saying the ‘single source of truth’ line.

Like everything connected with covid it was all an orchestrated, scripted, play pretending all the governments and health organisations were acting in our best interests.

Those that were fooled into believing the lies the first time need to wake up, if they have not already, aware that they will try again to control us. It’s mind over matter – governments don’t mind, and we don’t matter.

I noticed that and I agree.
Those evil bastards no doubt have a program in place for the next 50 years.

The biggest contributor to people remaining healthy over the last150 or so years has been chlorinated water supplies.

As that became more readily available, the incidence of things like polio, tetanus, and several other diseases went way down.

Even on a farm, keeping birds out of the water troughs makes a difference, let alone using chlorinated water. Not sure how many do, but the evidence is there about how effective it is.

To be fair
H Clark did a lot less damage to the country than your CHC mate johnny keys.

Clark refused to sign UNDRIP, called out John Tamihere for what he is 20 years ago; did not flood us with immigration.

Most of the weaknesses were Mickey Cullen – not understanding the growth of Non Bank Finance companies from 2002 to 2005; poor tax structuring, expanding the pubic service without commensurate funding or demand,
the buying of kiwirail,
these were all under the Finance portfolio, right in the wheelhouse of the nasty immigrant Pom, Cullen , forever sarcastic shit
and that creep was Deputy PM.
the only good thing about Cullen is he is dead now.

This morning’s Sermon from the Socialists sponsored by Newsroom thunders warnings of Armageddon should we not embrace a circular economy. For those with better things to do than savour the Apocalypse this would involve redesigning systems, cutting emissions, building resilience, blather & blah.

The author of https://newsroom.co.nz/2026/01/31/a-circular-economy-is-much-more-than-recycling/ realising he is out of his depth, withdraws to higher ground to concentrate on recycling. For instance:

#. “That could be food by-products being turned into nutrient-rich foods, known as nutraceuticals, or organic waste being converted into the sustainable fuel biomethane.”

Safe pushing the socialist platform of astronomical government spending on unproven green fantasies he ignores the obvious. Shove the waste into furnaces situated on the SE coast of NZ & turn it into much needed electricity. And push the slash from the forests into it for good measure along with a dollop of good Kiwi coal.

Next problem please.

How “sovereignty” is defined & understood is the kicker. Many Maori & most of their sickly white sympathisers envisage a nation where 15% of the population dominate the other 85% on racial lines on a national basis. Call this Option #1

Sovereignty in 1840 terms involved 500+ fiefdoms each regarded as a menu course by the others. A return to this is Option #2

Which option do they want? How will it work in practise?

It must be repeated ad nauseam until it penetrates the thick heads of the separatists.

There was no Maori nation!

TOW
a document drafted and written by Hobson and Busby.
A fair document
the likes of which has never been seen in the British Empire in terms of fairness.

and one that would never, ever have been written and/or approved in Londinium (now Londonistan) .

When less than 30 years later all male Maori had the vote (ahead of unlanded white males )
and while 50 years later Africans were being treated poorly by Europeans
Native American Indians were still be slaughtered and displaced in the USA
Aboriginals had no status in Australia
India was colonised by a ruthless English army
and Maori could still $ell shrunken head$ for cash to the Brits.

Maori 50 years after TOW (even before) had
freedom of association,
the right to travel freely,
the right to live where they choose,
the right to enter parliament (male)
the right to education
the right to help and remediation after the likes of Tarawera blew its top
the right to sell goods and services for fair trade,
the right to chose a marriage partner from wherever (Croatian ,Welsh, Scottish-common; English, Australian et al )

all in the 1800s well before the turn of the century

The Maori got the best deal in the whole world that Century
and yet fuckwits today whinge about it and promote apartheid

It’s happening. The US government has released three million files on Jeffrey Epstein. This will seriously inconvenience trillions of electrons as the web goes wild but two outstanding titbits:

#. “In an email exchange that could be helpful to the current US president as he seeks to downplay his associations with Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender tells former US treasury secretary Larry Summers that Donald Trump is “not my friend”.

And the free world breathes a sigh of relief.

#. “A spokesperson for Microsoft founder Bill Gates has called the claims made about him in the newly released Epstein files – including that he caught STIs from sleeping with Russian girls – “absolutely absurd”.

Bring it on! 🙂

Do the Maori hosting the councils on a Maree do it for free, wth only a couple of jars of instant coffee a two bottles of milk in return for the inconvenience. No, I’m betting that they are getting paid a fortune for it!
Why would the council pay for going to the Maree, when they can use their own council facilities free of charge!
It comes back to the pretty people who are embedded in the council hierarchy and are trying to change NZ from the inside out!

Mcduff
Reply to  Sooty

Well, first of all the marae needs a coffee maker large enough to supply a crowd, and they’re not cheap.
Then it needs the good coffee and a barista qualified to serve each individuals order correctly. A supply of cow milk, goat milk, almond and oat milk substitutes, raw sugar, white sugar, etc. Coffee mugs with the marae logo so they don’t go walkabout and spoons (ditto).
A selection of pastries and club sandwiches, both normal, gluten free, and vegan.
Plates with the marae logo and souvenir napkins printed with the reason for gathering and the date.
Also a tea urn for the non-coffee drinkers and a selection of soft drinks and water (still and sparkling) for those that want a cold drink.
Add on venue rental, the ubiquitous bowl of mints on each table, cover for damages, and cost of on-site parking.

It’s not easy, or cheap, to supply council workers demands you know!
