Already use them. Not in the way you think.
Think about an automated warehouse. It has an AI Master, and it sets the rules, builds the guard rails and so on. Then it has social bots, i.e., motbots. They carry out the jobs and interact with the other mot bots (social level), and so it goes on.
How I am using them.
Spent the last 12 months building a program that does just that.
Removes people doing things. Never forgets, moves tasks around, sends emails and texts and a lot of other things within the system.
Currently, it’s built task by task by the user, but shortly adding AI Bodybuilder to build the task.
The program we have built is an add-on to ServiceM8, which began life as a tradies program and which we have now enabled to run anything, including a production facility.

As a rule if a company is making “great gains” with AI, it means they didn’t embrace automation decades ago. I see AI applications that have already been done a couple of decades ago by normal programming.
As an after school / holiday job, 55 years ago, I worked grading eggs. A machine would show up the inside of the eggs so defects, bloodspots, and cracks could be seen, and a calibrated arm would automatically place each egg into a different packing queue based on weigh or size.
Today, an AI evangelist, if presented with those specs, he/or she would call that AI.

We don’t need to waste time on the 30% because their beliefs are based on feelings and they do NOT want facts!
But, if we who are in the 10-15% camp can move 10-15% of the questioners out of the squishy middle,
then the whole dynamic shifts and the Overton Window on asking hard questions will move

He also pointed to Labour MP Adrian Rurawhe’s recent retirement, saying it left him as the only member of Labour’s Māori caucus of 2014 still in Parliament.
“I think my time has come to let someone else give it a go, so I’m comfortable with my decision,” Henare said.
“It was always going to happen in Waitangi because this is my home.”
Henare said he could have run in Tāmaki Makaurau if he had wanted to, claiming the party had made that commitment after the byelection loss to Te Pāti Māori’s Oriini Kaipara.
Henare said he felt no ill will towards Labour following his decision.
“The beauty about politics is you don’t have to agree with everybody and that’s the case, certainly true in the caucus and in amongst my colleagues, but I leave with no bad feeling towards Labour or to any of my colleagues or in fact to anyone across the House.”
He recalled how he had chosen Labour for his entry into politics, noting other parties had made offers in the past.
Acknowledging his close relationship with relatives Winston Peters and Shane Jones of New Zealand First, Henare laughed when asked if he had considered running for NZ First in the future, responding: “Definitely not.”
Henare, who expected to sit with fellow members of his Ngāpuhi iwi in upcoming pōwhiri instead of Labour, said he would take some time with whānau before deciding his next career move.
Hipkins: ‘We will miss him’
Speaking at Waitangi in Northland, Hipkins said the byelection loss had weighed heavily on Henare.
“I want to acknowledge Peeni for the huge contribution he has made to Labour’s team and to Māori. He has been a staunch and passionate advocate for Māori during his 12 years in Parliament,” the Labour leader said.
“We will miss him.”
Earlier on Tuesday, Hipkins would not answer questions about whether he had confidence in Henare to win his old seat back, saying he didn’t want to elaborate on the matter until Henare had the time to address it publicly himself.

The New Zealand Taxpayers’ Union can reveal through an Official Information Act request that staff at the Ministry of Education were paid $414,119.68 by taxpayers to do 8,528 hours of union work.
This includes organising and advocating on behalf of the New Zealand Educational Institute Te Riu Roa (NZEI), the Public Service Association (PSA) and the Association of Professional and Executive Employees (APEX).
The response shows under current agreements that:
– NZEI staff are entitled to two hours per week of union work for 12 staff, equalling 1,248 hours per year or an estimated $60,602.88 of paid work.
– PSA staff are entitled to two full time co-convenors and a minimum of 5 hours per week for 12 National Delegates, equalling staff time of 7,280 hours per year or an estimated $353,516.80 of paid work.
– The Ministry of Education has also confirmed that PSA co-convenors are provided with free office space within Ministry buildings and the 7 APEX delegates are entitled to “support to fulfil their role.”
Taxpayers’ Union Investigations Coordinator, Rhys Hurley, said:
“This is a rort. Taxpayers are paying government employees to organise against the very system that employs them.”
“Ministry staff were paid to help coordinate strikes that last year left kids out of the classroom and parents forced to fund childcare. Minister Seymour has already announced that union strikes tanked school attendance last year.”
“If a private company wouldn’t pay staff to protest against itself, then why are taxpayers footing the bill for the Ministry to do so?”
“Somehow, when it’s done on the taxpayer’s dime, it’s seen as business as usual. Union work should be funded by union members, not by the public.”
