Love the Winston post, bout as close to what could be said in house with out getting in the shit
That would be the government Winston put in power.
well only 2017, the covid sheeple put them in without a handbrake the 2nd time.
On this issue Winston Peters backed Ardern, to push even more, even though he was not in Parliament.
Winston Peters : @winstonpeters
….. People need certainty and a plan – not uncertainty and spin.
Start with ‘no-jab means no dole and no parole’. …..

October 4th, 2021
Until the flip-flop, when Winston Peters recognized that enough votes were to be gained at the Wellington protest in late February 2022, to set up his run for the 2023 elections.
No, he had an epiphany – it wasn’t about vote catching.
We all make mistakes at times. Some of us come to realise the fact.
Ya think so.
He’s a pollie, and if their lips are moving, they are lying.
And some apologize for their mistakes. Not Winston – he throws them down the memory hole and claims he was misquoted.
Let’s face it, none of the pollies ever apologise. It would be nice if they did – it doesn’t demonstrate weakness, it demonstrates insightfulness, humility and accountability.
Meanwhile we are still putting up with cunt Hopkins!
The little wanker is still hanging in there as though he did no wrong and didn’t fuck the country or kill ya grannies while not letting you go and visit them.
Then he came for all of your kids!
Then shows no remorse to his evil deeds at all!

Never bet against Elon
Details on the SpaceX-xAI Mega-Deal
On paper, SpaceX is a rocket company and xAI is an AI company.
In reality, both are trying to solve the same problem: how to scale intelligence and civilization beyond Earth.
Today, AI development depends on massive data centers on Earth.
Those data centers consume enormous amounts of electricity and require huge cooling infrastructure.
Power demand from AI alone is already straining energy grids.
According to SpaceX’s announcement, this simply won’t scale on Earth.
The long-term solution? Move compute off-planet.
SpaceX and xAI’s vision is to launch massive constellations of satellites that function as orbital data centers, powered by near-constant solar energy in space.
No land constraints. No cooling constraints. Vast power availability.
In Elon’s words: “It’s always sunny in space.”
Starship becomes the delivery vehicle. xAI becomes the intelligence layer. Starlink provides connectivity. And eventually, compute moves off Earth entirely.
It sounds insane.
Then again, reusable rockets once sounded insane too.
Until you enter an eclipse.
But then with multiple data centres it doesn’t matter.
We hope!
In respect of the ‘winston’ meme, as it’s title implies, we (And NZ) should never forget that Winnie runs with the hares and hunts with the hounds and if whatever is occurring is to WINSTON’S (NOT NZF’s or the nation’s) long-term advantage that is what he will do.
It is ALWAYS to his best interests and NEVER in the interest of anyone else.
The ‘Baubles of power’ comment still stands…
We never did find out what his baubles were for going with Labor!
Neither for going with notional
Ours was just a smaller sack of shit than had we gone with the other lot
Nonetheless, what he says is correct, but what he doesn’t say or tell us is what they are currently “spending” to get out of the mess they supposedly inherited.
Nor does he tell us what Key or Clark wasted their money on.
He doesn’t tell us about the political slush fund that he and National hand out.
Taxpayers’ money to buy votes.
Because that’s what handing out 10 million Dollars to Ratana to build a marae, that 99% of Kiwis will never either see or use. More particularly, it’s to a religious group of people in an area where few will be Ratana followers.
Imagine the yells and screams if they handed money to Tamaki or the Mormons of God forbid, the Brethren of any kind.
The hypocrisy of these slime balls in Parliament is staggering.
Its past time we had constraints on what they could spend our money on.
A decent Constitution that protects Kiwis and is colour blind.

Imagine Parliament passes a Schools Act “to promote the establishment of schools for the benefit of New Zealand”.
Parliament is careful. It specifies exactly what the minister must consider before approving a new school: the operator’s financial capability, site safety, compliance history and consultation with local iwi. There is no general discretion. There are no open-ended criteria.
A proposal comes before the minister. She works through the statutory criteria. The operator is financially sound. The site is safe. The compliance history is clean. Local iwi have been consulted. She approves the school.
A court then intervenes. It holds that “for the benefit of New Zealand” does not mean Parliament has already decided that schools, as a class, are beneficial.
Rather, the minister must now separately assess whether this particular school benefits New Zealand – taking into account matters the court considers “obviously relevant,” such as long-term social cohesion.
The court also holds that consultation with local iwi is not enough. Because education affects Māori nationally, the minister must consider impacts on Māori across the country.
The minister is bewildered. She did exactly what Parliament required. Yet she is now told she must assess unspecified national outcomes, against no criteria, with no statutory machinery and no guidance as to weight or priority – and that failure to do so is unlawful.
What exactly is the minister meant to do with that instruction?
This is not hypothetical. It is what the Supreme Court has just done with the Crown Minerals Act 1991.

Put up yesterday Viking, just to save you the effort.
I’m a busy fella so I missed it but that’s ok it’s worth repeating.
That’s providing the Maori go to school.
Sooty went for a walk past a farm with his new girlfriend, and they saw dogs mating.
She said, “How does the male know when the female is ready for sex?”
He replied: “He can smell she is ready. That’s how nature works.”
They then walked past a sheep field, and the ram was mating with the ewe.
Again, his new girlfriend asked: “How does the ram know when the ewe is ready for sex?”
Sooty replied: “It’s nature. He can smell she is ready.” They then went past another pasture, and the bull was mating with the cow.
His new girlfriend said, “This is odd. They are really going at it. Surely the bull can’t smell when the cow is ready?”
Sooty replied: “Oh, yes; it’s nature. All animals can smell when the female is ready for sex.”
Anyway, after the walk, Sooty dropped her off at home and kissed her goodbye.
She said to Sooty:
“Take care and get yourself tested for Covid-19.”
Startled and Surprised he said, “Why do you say that?”
She replied: “You seem to have lost your sense of smell.”
Oh dear.
sootz sense of smell was fine, no covid but when he left he had the overwhelming urge to have a scampi bisque for tea.

When , his reputation among Māori and iwi leaders reached a new low. But a lot changes in a year.
In Luxon’s absence last year, at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. That meant fiery scenes between Winston Peters, Shane Jones, and their nephews and nieces who protested on the Treaty Grounds. It also meant that ACT leader David Seymour’s pet projects, such as the Treaty Principles Bill and Regulatory Standards Act, were brought to centre stage.
And in Luxon’s absence, Peters and Seymour represented the Government – and therefore Luxon.
With Luxon returning to Waitangi this year, he has been able to sit down kanohi ki te kanohi – face to face – with iwi leaders.
https://www.stuff.co.nz/politics/360933999/christopher-luxon-and-iwi-chairs-forum-are-speaking-same-language
He said they discussed how iwi could work alongside the Government on infrastructure, education and healthcare.
“There’s really good alignment. And we have some of it going well, but there’s more for us to do to turn up the volume,” he said.
Ngāti Wai chairman Aperahama Edwards said there was “still a lot of pain” among Māori about Government decisions, including the Marine and Coastal Areas Act, closure of the Māori Health Authority, and campaigns against the use of te reo Māori by government departments.
“Our people are hurting, and we’re mindful of that. But there’s also a calm here, as well, and an optimism,” he said.
well we knew the POS was a traitor and cares more about appeasing 2% of nz than actually doing something for all kiwis.
but stupid nat voters will go blah blah blah “this time will be different”… yeah, it will, nats will get even worse if you keep supporting them you dumb old fucks.

Set up the gallows for her. It’s the minimum that maggot deserves.
I’ve sent the doll out to deal to Helen Clark and after that he’s going to hitchhike up to Waitangi and throw shit at Luxcinda. I think that’s a reasonable start to the day.
Castrate her, I say.
That reminds me, has any male who says they can get pregnant, ever had a hysterectomy?
Try asking Peter Davis, to put up with the sights he must have seen he has to be missing something important.
As the story goes it was a glimpse of Helen’s hoohaa that drove him to seek refuge in the toilets at Los Angeles sparking the rescue mission all those years back. 🙂
Code Brown alert. . . .70,000,000 litres of raw sewage leaking into Cook Strait from Moa Point treatment plant. FS. And some numpties are surfing in Lyall Bay.
The seaweed will have a growth spurt with all that fertiliser.
Wellington is a shit hole!
The chap who presumably gets paid a shit load (pun intended) to run the shit fountain outfit, had the solution, to extending the outlet pipe further out to sea.
That’s what he’s paid the big $bucks for, all that initiative and thinking power ///
….”70,000,000 litres of raw sewage leaking into Cook Strait”…..
That’s an improvement. Usually it’s running down the streets due to aged, cracked pipes & flowing into Wellington Harbour!
Someone must have unblocked a drain under parlament
That must be the amount of sewerage pumped in to the sea at Auckland every et day!
Apparently it happened during remedial work. If that’s what they call remedial work I’d hate to see a disaster.
I have as much faith in the electoral system as the census.
I expect some parts of the voting system will be providing KFC to special people!

Hey Tarquin!
Don’t give up on the doll. You set the co-ordinates right this time & it looks like it’s pissing down at Waitangi. The live report on Stuff shows suits & umbrellas are to the fore!

Unfortunately the weather appears to be improving in Whangarei so it will probably come right up there soon. However, we are having a last ditch prayer session and a good old hymn sing along at the local pub this afternoon in a last ditch attempt to conjure up a monsoon of biblical proportions. Feel free to pop along and don’t forget to bring your morris dancing gear, obviously we are very inclusive people.
It sometimes pays off being a back yard scientist. Ladies need read no further.
Just been for my annual checkup with the urologist. He is amazed at my PSA of 5.0. It has never ever been this low. Normally for me it’s hovered around 7.9 – 8.5. with the highest ever of 35. (That was because of a bladder infection. Antibiotics fixed that)
He wanted to know what I was doing so I told him. Once I found out it’s inflammation that increase the prostate size and gives the high PSA, then reducing the inflammation must be good for you. Set to work and used the internet as my friend. Viola, its worked for me. My secret herbs and spices remedy is so simple anyone can do it.
Herbs & spices. Very interesting.
It wasn’t the daily finger massages after all. 🙂
No he didn’t see any need this time.
Why are men so happy?
A woman responded to this…
Because their life is set:
They keep the same surname throughout their life.
They never get pregnant.
Mechanics don’t talk to them about complicated technical matters or try to fool them.
Wrinkles enhance their personality.
White hair makes them even more attractive.
New shoes do not harm their feet.
His phone calls last only 30 seconds.
For a 15-day vacation, all they need is one suitcase – and that too is half empty.
They can open any jar or bottle without any help.
They don’t mind if someone else at the party is wearing the same clothes as them; they might even become friends.
He has no qualms about wearing the same suit for the last 12 wedding ceremonies.
They can eat bananas in public without any drama.
They can watch TV with a friend for hours without talking, and it doesn’t even occur to them: “Is he angry with me?”
Their underwear is cheap: grab a pack of six and you’re done.
Three pairs of shoes are enough for him for ten years.
The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades, or even a lifetime. And if they get bored, they shave their heads without regret.
They can play with “toys” all their life.
They can wear swim trunks regardless of how their legs look or whether their stomachs are sticking out. They don’t care; they’re happy either way.
They never worry about: “What to cook for lunch tomorrow?”
Even if their weight increases by five kilos, they don’t even notice. And even if they do, it doesn’t bother them.
Whether they have a belly or not, if they have money, they get a lot of attention.
And the worst part is that…
Every single one of these things is absolutely true!!!

Today’s edition of the Wairarapa Times-Age is testament, should it ever been necessary, to the beneficial role of sub editors. Though as in this case the article’s author is none other than the publication’s editor it may not have saved the day.
The front page story covers flooding on Tuesday evening in the Masterton suburb of Lansdowne, not a vast distance from Chez Nasska.
#. “Times-Age reporter Kate Judson, who lives in the neighbourhood, stepped outside her bedroom late last night and saw a thick puddle of water travelling towards her across the living area.
Thankfully, her landlord was home, with her husband upstairs, and the three of them were able to get to work clearing the water away, and then cleaning up.”
I’m not certain that the comma saved the day or whether a sordid ménage à trois is flourishing in the peasant housing on the floodplain below us. 🙂
