Since Zuckerberg admitted publicly after Trump won, that he had been “pressured” to censor and skew the Covid response, the 2020 USA election, and Hunter Biden’s laptop.

It goes much deeper than that. Technology was supposed to supplement learning processes rather than replace them. The long laborious years we sat at desks printing & writing with particular emphasis on spelling were in themselves pathways to developing our minds. To pass exams required writing at speed while remaining legible, learning involved sifting through screeds of garbage to locate facts rather than looking up bullet points. Even in the 60s the jury was out on whether slide rules could be used in mathematics tests. The process mattered because it was considered to be part of learning. Pressing the correct symbols on a calculator or computer in the correct order is now the skill most sought after.
You mentioned it yourself earlier this week. Dairy staff are hired because they can turn on a computer. They know little of mastitis & nothing of cycling. If the computer goes down the herd could die in front of them & all they could do is stand around texting photos of their breakfasts.
It’s not education & it’s not cognitive ability. It’s dumbing 95% of the population down to a level equalled by morons.
You should see what AI prompt engineers do, then. Get paid well for writing sensible, clear English language to optimise output.

One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce says “literal views” of religious texts in sections of the Bible and the Quran are “intangible” in Australia.
“Where it becomes confusing is if someone says a good Muslim is determined by the views of an Imam or what they determine to be a good Muslim,” Mr Joyce told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

The question becoming, what is being taught in the mosques, by the very “good” imams, mufti etc..
That will allow the serious, the devoted, pious to swim amongst the “kindness” & “religion of peace” that is submission, being one of the main loyality factors, that are owed & demanded of the “ummah” (community of muslim believers)
