We will give you all the fuel you need. Every reactor. Every hospital isotope. Every megawatt. Free. Forever. Just stop enriching to weapons grade.
That was America’s offer. Spoken across a table by Steve Witkoff, the President’s Special Envoy, to Iranian negotiators who listened, paused, and then told him what they had built while the world was talking.
Four hundred and sixty kilograms of uranium enriched to 60%. Enough for eleven nuclear weapons. One thousand kilograms at 20%. Ten thousand kilograms of total fissionable material. And the 60% stockpile could reach weapons-grade 90% in one week.
They were not confessing. They were boasting. In a room where America had just offered to solve their energy problem for free, Iran’s negotiators chose to describe, in specific detail, how close they were to a bomb. They called the American offer an “assault on national dignity.” The dignity, apparently, was the uranium.
The talks collapsed. Three weeks later, a B-2 stealth bomber took off from Missouri.
Everything in that negotiating room traces to a single theft. In 1972, a Pakistani metallurgist named A.Q. Khan walked into a Dutch enrichment plant and began copying centrifuge blueprints. His wife helped translate. His colleague photographed. He flew home to Pakistan in December 1975 with the designs for the P-1 centrifuge in his luggage. Pakistan built the bomb. Then Khan sold the blueprints to Iran, to Libya, to North Korea, operating the most dangerous black market in human history out of a Dubai hotel suite. Iran received its first centrifuge components in the late 1980s, reverse-engineered the P-1 as the IR-1, derived the advanced IR-2m and IR-6 from the P-2, and by 2025 had 22,000 spinning machines producing the material its negotiators would one day wave across a table at the country offering them free fuel.
Stolen technology. Clandestine enrichment. Fifteen years of denied IAEA inspections. Broken agreement after broken agreement. And at the end of it, a negotiating room where one side offered unlimited peaceful energy and the other side responded with a countdown to eleven bombs.
Israel knew what was in those tunnels. The 55,000 pages extracted from Iran’s Amad Plan archive in 2018 mapped the weapons programme that Iran swore did not exist. Israeli intelligence identified Parchin’s Taleghan-2 facility as the site where the IAEA had detected hydrodynamic experiments consistent with nuclear weapon design and found chemically man-made uranium particles during its sole permitted visit in 2015. American airpower delivered the GBU-57, a 30,000-pound bunker buster built during the Obama administration for the singular purpose of reaching what Iran had buried.
The strike hit. Satellite imagery from Maxar confirms significant damage. But the question that now governs everything is what it did not hit.
The IAEA estimated 440.9 kilograms of 60% uranium on 27 February, one day before the war. After the strikes, the agency believes approximately 200 kilograms may remain in tunnels beneath Isfahan. May. The word carries the weight of civilisation. The IAEA cannot verify because Iran has denied inspectors access to every bombed site. The country that was offered free fuel, that chose the stockpile, that boasted about eleven bombs, now refuses to let the world confirm whether the strikes reduced the danger or merely relocated it into tunnels that no satellite can see and no inspector can enter.
Two hundred kilograms. Seven days from weapons grade. Governed by 31 autonomous commands taking orders from a dead man. Hidden from the only agency on Earth authorised to find it. In a country whose Supreme Leader is a cardboard cutout and whose military has announced it will never stop fighting.
America offered light. Iran chose the centrifuge. And now the centrifuge is in a tunnel, and nobody knows if it is spinning.
First and only piss time all night. My snake oil formula is working to keep the prostate under control. What’s your excuse?
Counting all your loot from gold sales?🤩
i wish! havent done gold for 3wks now ive been lazy and now stuck in holiday mode, i fell asleep too early last night so my body clock thought 330am was an excellent wake up time fml.
trumps winning bigly in his quest for regime change in iran and freeing the iranian people. (yea, anyone with iq above room temp knows the later is a joke and just poor excuse to justify being a jews puppet.)
hes replaced Khamenei with Khamenei and now the new supreme leader has vowed revenge for slaughtering many of his family.
and according to US intel irans govt is largely intact, has full control of its people and nowhere near in danger of collapse.
sounds like trumps win is just another middle eastern mess thanks to america. i hope you lot enjoy carless days, $6+ per litre fuel and all your favourite foods and imported/transported items getting very very expensive 🙂
We have already survived the last oil shock and carless days and we already lived with less. How will the youngins do when the boats don’t arrive with their latest consumer goodies?
Let us not forget that the cost of petrol and diesel is only SO expensive because the greedy government insists on charging us ridiculous amounts of tax and fuel duty. Time for the government to cut its expenditure and reduce the fuel tax and duty.
So when the U.S goes after Europeans who curtail free speech it’s because they’re Jews’ puppets too?
Wake up man. There are a lot of moving parts in this very big picture and although the freedom of the Iranian people is probably not the main one, I definitely believe it’s a genuine concern of the U.S. government.
The U.S. also struck targets in Nigeria last year – the first instance to my knowledge of anyone with any power giving more than platitudes to the plight of Christians there. Guess that’s about satisfying the Jooooozzz too, huh?
Happy to admit I downticked him – solely for the Jews’ puppets remark which IMO doesn’t wash.
The bit about regime change is probably spot on; and as SB knows, although I fully supported the strikes on the nuclear facilities, I wonder WTF Trump was thinking with this particular action.
Nobody on here I wouldn’t want to have a beer with though – nothing about not liking him.
not a jew puppet… go check out trumps largest donor then.
if you cant find much shes the one who trump sold the old US embasy building in israel to when he declared the jeruseluem the official capital… which was also at his rich donors demand.
then iran is the last country on netenyahu list to get smashed by america. go look it up, early 90s he stated the 6 countries he wanted to destroy and USA has done it all for him. netenyahu is the longest serving and worst POTUS ever. every president for the past few decades has been a jews puppet, probably has been even since rothschild days… trump is their biggest and most controllable puppet by far tho.
youre a dumb maga fuckhead who refuses to accept fact. trump cant even explain why theyre doing it and reasoning has changed multiple times when holes get picked in the bullshit story.
thats because hes too much of a fucking coward to tell the world hes only doing it cuz israel demanded he do it… but totally not a jews puppet/////
I think you blew your argument with, “every president since…”. That’d be why Obama sent the Iranians pallets of cash and Biden reversed Trump’s sanctions against them.
Perhaps instead of throwing weak insults – are you having a bad day, you’re normally much more inventive? try sharpening your argument instead. Even the “dumb maga fuckhead” part. Pretty sure I’ve stated many a time, but here it is again just for the record – Trump is a flawed individual but I believe he has the interests of the U.S. people at heart. Neither of which means everything he does is perfect or that I will agree with it. It’s a bit like closer to home with NZF – I don’t agree with everything they come out with but it’s the direction of travel that’s important.
i like plenty of what trump does, mainly domestic tho cuz hes shit at most international stuff.
and the iran thing doesnt do jack for most americans and its only serving israeli interests.
did you go check out the bitch that bought trump for 250million? between her, netenyahu and his son inlaw the jews have most of trumos puppet strings under control…. dance trump, dance.
Figured that out a long time ago. Mate has a Mercedes, one of those low things. He’s tall and quite agile but I can barley get into the thing. Rather have something I can step into.
my old south african neighbour was built like a brick shithouse, he got his dream car and his performance getting in and out of the thing was much much worse than that.
his head would hit the roof and steering wheel hard against his torso, he pretended to be super stoked with it but you could tell it pained him badly he couldnt enjoy it.
Trump must blow Iran off the face of the planet. No warnings. Just annihilation. That will solve a big problem and send the message to any other shitbag who thinks they can threaten humanity. Fuck around and find out, Trump’s the man to do it.
yup, iran wanted nukes so give em a few dozen… kill tens of millions cuz the evil regime killed thousands. thatll learn them!
yea, maybe trump shouldve stayed out of it and not start another endless war leaving a clusterfuck in the middle east once again.
How would that have helped? 47 years of calling for “Death to America” and “Death to big satan and death to little satan” while building bombs and committing terrorist act.
They want to take over.
Send every mullah to hell – Bigly. 💥💥💥☄️☄️☄️🔥🔥🔥
And you can see it happening from the satellite pics during the day.
Also happening in the Northern territory
North Queensland is well underwater as well
Why on Earth would you subscribe to the Herald even if you could afford it? There are plenty of other less biased news sources out there as I’m sure you are well aware.
As shown in comments, the New & Ancient Order of Rights are again the “New Normal” all okayed obligations as was Parliamentary accepted & through the Justice system.
All to be bought into equality & equity practice through out the colonly.
The scary part is you have to wonder how many rip offs he was involved in and how much he stole off us taxpayers when he was an M.P. This is yet another bad look for Labour that will no doubt be quietly shoved under the carpet.
The question being is he super entitled or just arrogant beyond belief? The Chathams only have 600 ratepayers so he was bound to get caught. How stupid is he? Then again I suppose he does resemble the missing link.
He is a fool. The Chathams has a close kit community where everyone knows each others business. They’re the stereotypical people who only read newspapers to see if the reporter has got the story right.
Eagle as an outsider would have been under scrutiny from the start.
If you me and probably everyone else around these parts can work that out in two minutes why couldn’t he? Then he panics when he realises he’s been busted. Says a lot about his intellect and he was a two term M.P. Labour must have the same candidate requirements as the Greens – blind faith and friends in the right places.
since the left is all about equity they should be allowed to stay at home but apply a special tax so they can help pay the increasing fuel costs of kiwis who dont have that option… its only fair and equitable, the same fair and equitable outcomes the left demand for everything else 🙂 and being a mainly leftist public sector im sure theyll have no worries at all getting onboard with it ////
There is the odd govt dept that requires five days in the office, but they’re a rarity with most requiring 2-3 and some not requiring any. So not much of a hardship in terms of extra cost.
A lot of public servants do take public transport anyway, so what the fuck are they complaining about?
It’s probably coming from people who’ve decided to live on the Kapiti Coast or in the Wairarapa and drive in, who’ll be looking at a good wodge of extra cash for petrol.
Maybe they can cut down on takeaway coffees and have instant at work- a coffee is $6.30 in some places.
I need to fill the car today. I hope it isn’t a Covid toilet roll situation where every numbnuts has gone and bought more fuel than they usually need.
see my comment further down.
around here tons are stockpiling and on way home there were several servos out of diesel.
repco had no jerry cans left when i went in for parts and there were several utes filling drums at the rural fuel stops.
the media hysteria is working and creating a self fulfilling prophecy of doom, now on tonights news there will be endless stories of massive queues, empty bowsers and outrage/sob stories from those who cant afford fuel…. and that will in turn create more panic and a weekend of chaos and panic buying… and more media hysteria, rinse and repeat.
i honestly hope the country grinds to a halt and runs out, itll wake up the clown how much we NEED fossil fuels and can continue to slam labour over the woke captains call.
When I was a child my nan would tell me of a man who stood for our people. A scholar and a warrior both, who spoke more than half a dozen languages, practiced poetry, and was the youngest major in the British Empire. Most people loved and supported him. He told the truth that politicians didn’t want to hear. He stood for freedom, even when it was unpopular. For that they tried to destroy him.
Enoch Powell warned us of the danger of mass migration. For that he was cast out of high office by the establishment cabal, and the people were denied their wish to elect him at their Prime Minister.
Enoch Powell warned us of the monstrosity that would become the EU. His singular rebellion threw the general election and forced a referendum on the EEC. For that he lost his seat in Parliament.
Enoch Powell warned us of the corrupt system that life peerages would become. He was offered one in 1987 and turned it down on principle, forgoing the title, its security and the trappings.
He had been given the opportunity to stand in Northern Ireland after having lost his original seat as an MP. The seats in Ireland were over-represented.
As a unionist, and believing in equality for our people, he voted to abolish himself and lost his seat in Parliament a final time.
There is much more I could say. I sometimes think we are living in the wrong timeline. We must be mad, literally mad to have taken this path. I imagine what it would be like if we would have had the man of principle, who devoted his life to duty. I think about the country in which we should be living, where we do not suffer at the hands of cruel and inept tyrants, where we have prosperity, but more than that, we have our identity. Bright eyes and bold hearts.
I truly hope that this nation of which I was born can be restored.
A glimpse on the current fight about “free-speech” in this very costly judicial battle.
One battle won, but it is a long war, that needs the full support of all the British to rid the globalist sell outs.
In Hamit’s case, the High Court was clear: public order laws cannot be twisted to reintroduce blasphemy by the back door,” it emphasized.
So Britain has not quite flat lined yet.
Still a worry with all the other legislation, like the major cut back on jury trials, and how many good judges will die off, & the new appointed in the next 4 years by this devious agenda for further controls.
However in the wings is Keir Starmer & his deviant cabinet, with his legislating support to bring back blasphemy laws.
Western officials seized on a dubious death toll of 30,000 protesters to escalate against Iran. The number originates with a single, clearly compromised source. But a zealously pro-war Guardian reporter is doing her best to legitimize it.The claim of “30,000 killed” during two days of protests and rioting across Iran appears to be based largely on a single anonymous source, who admitted extrapolating that figure by assuming without evidence that “officially registered deaths related to the crackdown likely represent less than 10% of the real number of fatalities.”
It never seemed to right to hold the “reserves” off shore.
I could never figure how any one in Parliament did not fight against that proposal.
Sell outs.
Sure there may have been a cost in storage, but they have mindlessly removed or reduced it, not only at Marsden Point, & also like the tank farm Wynard quarter in Auckland, so that it could become a “thriving” “vigourous”
“global beacon” to inspire Aucklanders; — a posh place to drink, eat & party, plus for the tourists.
So did they replace that storage?
Only the above glowing words, can be found, & as most likely, so minimized, probably on the “just in time” shipments programs.
After all, anything industry is a very dirty word in Auckland.
The principle has always been ” a bird in the hand, is worth more than 2 in the bush”.
Well, you are wrong. Most of that came to Tauranga and some to other places.
Our waterfront is blighted with them.
Gull has had tanks here for a long time.
How convoluted do you have to be to say the following? and no they are not my answers. its from an email site I no longer frequent.
Who did Cain get married to if Adam and Eve were the first humans God created?
I have two answers. The first is from my teacher early in grade school in a Catholic school. One of the students asked a similar question. The teacher said that because there were so few people, God allowed brothers and sisters to get married. That seemed to satisfy the class, and we moved on to something else. But I have thought about it more deeply since then. We have the full story about Adam’s and Eve’s creation, and their first two children. But then after Cain kills Abel and God confronts him, he is afraid that people will harm him for his sin. And he eventually founded a city. Who were the people he was afraid of? Where did the inhabitants of the city come from? What seems to me to be the most straightforward explanation: The fact that Adam and Eve were the first people created doesn’t mean that they were necessarily the only people created. God populated the world as he saw fit. These are answers that fit within the confines of the story of Adam and Eve in Genesis. But the larger issue is that Adam and Eve did not really exist. They are mythical characters, and they are part of a story told to impart lessons about the relationship between people and God. There is no need to think that their story is a factual, historical, account.
I’m not a bible follower, but the bible is mostly parables and symbology, not history.
There were no computers, typewriters, video cameras, dictation machines, no Paper Plus to stock up on A4 paper and ball point pens to record history. Just most oral history handed down decades later, generation to generation, mangling truth, fiction, and ideology. And mangled again by the Epstein / Maxwell types in the 4th century, among many other alterations.
However:
[1] According to the original Hebrew, Adam was not one man, but actually a race of people, called “The Adamic Race”.
[2] If you read Genesis, “God” created man and woman at the beginning of Genesis and a page or two later he created Eve out of Adam’s DNA. So two “woman/women”, every man’s curse.
The original woman (race of women) was Lilith. Lilith is well documented in many religions. Being independent, she (they) was not subservient to Adam (The Adamic Race), considering herself equal. The Adam race and Lilith went their own separate ways.
The first divorce, a mass divorce at that.
Eve (another race) was crafted out of the Adam DNA, and to be more subservient.
ED, I’m sure we’ve all been there with women that are hard to handle, and women who are quite happy to be second fiddle.
Don’t stop there. The entire Book of Bullshit is a mythology from Genesis to Revelation. Fairy tales for illiterate nomadic goatherds & the truly gullible.
Nasska does have significant knowledge of things Biblical. However, I disagree with his simple dichotomy “illiterate nomadic goatherds & the truly gullible”. Logic follows that I must fit into one or both of the options. I don’t feel that the “illiterate nomadic goatherds” fits my position, so I have to consider the alternative. Here too, I would argue I don’t quite fit the group. If I were truly gullible I’d be on my 7th Booster, be contributing to Climate Emergency funds, and be a paid up Labour Voter. In the grand tradition of Socrates, I have to admit that “I know that I know Nothing”. But I do search, and searching truth while ignoring the vast plethora of all religious tradition, is flawed. However that does not mean that I must unquestioningly defer to every Religious tenet, rule or observation, from any religious tradition. To deny a superior being absolutely is to diverge from Socrates’ school of philosophy.
Socrates was a navel gazer & Godbotherer. His claim to fame & his undoing was picking the wrong mythical beings to pay homage to. This put him out of step with the ruling classes.
If I were to praise Greek philosophers Diogenes the Cynic would be my go-to. Most will identify him as the character who went around the sunlit streets of Athens, lantern in hand, looking for an honest man.
Less known & somewhat less attested to was his second circuit of Athens in search of an honest lawyer. When a friend enquired as to the success of his mission Diogenes replied; ‘not too bad. I still have my lantern’.
Check out “Goats” in Trade Me’s Livestock for Sale section & buy a map. 🙂
mr hooker phil…. oysters, lots of yummy bluff oysters are available!!!
just got 4doz fresh 2nd grades theyre 48bux for 2 doz this year, Agrades 37 per doz and i guess in supermarkets etc theyll be even more expensive..
they dunno how long the season will last as quotas been cut so get in quick if you want a feed.
Thanks, will think about that. The fuel might cost more than the oysters thsi year. Just off to the table for scrambled eggs – the last from you know where.
you might just have to pay the supermarket tax and buy local then.
you need to have a word with the dahlia show organisers and get the dates pushed out a week or 2 so you can tie in some fresh oysters to celebrate all your wins!
hilarious, govt etc say no panic about fuel but msm hysteria is causing panic… but then tbh we know if the govt says not to worry we probably should do a lil prep.
anyways was in at repco getting an oil filter and all the jerry cans are sold out and signs hanging in front saying that due to high demand jerry cans are limited to 2 per customer.
anyways im stoked i filled my 1000L tank mid march while fuel was cheap.
where i used to work we had a 20k litre tank… when we got really busy through the peak it would get filled twice a week, this time of year that would only last them 10-14 days at most.
a few lil tanks wouldnt help the likes of that, the average dairy or sheep cocky tho an extra 1000L would keep them ticking a while if they were conservative.
i dont reckon we’ll run out or get to rationing but media will certainly push that narrative to try get the govt to misstep so they can pile on.
if its becomes clear high prices and iran shit will continue for some time the govt could win favour and bring forward the RUC on all vehicles, even just a voluntary changeover and do temporary fuel tax rebates until its fully implemented… although im sure some sweet fraud would go on with the rebates and claiming other ppls fuel so fuck knows, probs in the too hard basket.
It’s not the cost of the tanks or even protecting it from the ferals. When we bought our property it came with a tank but a couple of years later the clipboard warriors declared that the bund was no longer up to standard. By then we’d made the decision not to employ labour & opted to use contractors for fertiliser, tillage & drilling so we had no need for bulk fuel. The tank came out & that was one less box ticker to screw up my days.
Used to fill up 20 litre drums when I took the ute into town.
3 fuel stations on way back home today were outve diesel, still had petrol tho so panic buying and beating price hikes is in full swing.
couple of our mates are poor doers and having a massive cry how its so unfair that people with money are allowed to stockpile.
im guessing theyre not alone with that envy and there will be numerous media sob stories and outrage… who wants to bet the media will start pressuring govt to ration it and prevent people stockpiling? you just know theyre gunna try and im sure chipkins and chloe will be calling for fair and equitable outcomes!
yea true that. theres already been a bit of that going on around here, farm a few km away got 2000L cleaned out last weekend. gotta be inside job tho as all of the cameras were avoided so they knew what they were doing. probs a pissed ex slave?
lol, nah theyre wifeys mates neighbours. and i was in aussie at the time!
i havent done naughty things like that since around 2008 before i met mrs sb, she would cut my dick n balls off if i got up to no good. she may be lil HP but she can be a very scary lil lady!
im guessing a mobile tanker or a trailer of drums over a couple of nights, its ballsy cuz that would take a while to pull off with gravity fed tanks.
5 x 44 gallon drums the new 200 litre size.
That would weigh circa one tonne, just right for one flat deck ute.
A trailer for the other 5 drums would be easy.
I’ve got a spare 20 liters in the back of the Lux. Reason being a couple of weeks ago she spluttered out. Fuel gauge playing up. Anyway, I was headed down hill going into the village and luckily nobody was at the roundabout so I coasted through that. Got right to the Gull station but it was on the other side of the road and there were oncoming cars so had to stop. Put it in first and cranked the starter – got me across the road and into the forecourt. How lucky is that?
one of my toyotas the needle goes well below E and fuel light gives me 40-50km… the other one the needle stops a few mm above E and the light comes on about 300m before spluttering to a stop, i never let that fucker get below ¼ cuz ive run out multiple times and that sux.
but yea you lucky for sure mate, back in my broke arse days it was day before i got paid and was running on fumes. found 5 or 10bux in coinage so i proceded to the servo…. run out so clutch in and coasted, came to a stop going up the curb thingy but there was a carload of bogans there that helped push me the last 10m to the pump. im glad i didnt try get home! probs wouldve run out on the bloody bridge.
I had such a faulty gauge on 1 ute, that when filled the needle dived down to E.
Fortunately it rose to half when circa half, before the final dive.
Trip meter was helpful in interpreting in which phase it was, whether it was doing a double dip.
dang, wonder if his body drifted ashore or if he made it their alive and starved/dehydrated? surely if drifted the remains wouldve got scattered by the surf
I sure that my spiritual advisor can re-organise his schedule to accommodate the casting out of the evil spirits but his services don’t come cheap. Such is his ability that poltergeists are a push over & most demons can be purged with a few ‘Hail Marys’ & a vigorous workout with a cross. He can even arrange a package of indulgences for those who prefer to live in a state of sin.

[ hey anybody on (bother with) Spark 4G wireless
whats your down/up load speed as matter of interest
come back anybody ?
for home?
we used to, it was reasonably reliable and fast enough for our needs while it was just me n wifey using it but once kids started using devices and youtube etc it chewed it and blew our data cap.
starlink worked out much cheaper at the time and unlimited so we switched (200gb and cunts screwed us $120pm). spark have now drastically lowered their prices to compete, ive never had starlink drop out even once. spark would drop out for an hour or 2 once or twice a week where i live but we’re on the edge of service area and usually only had 1 sometimes 2 bars.
if cost isnt a worry go starlink residential lite, if youre on a budget then go with spark just make sure youre not locked in on 2 yr contract or some bullshit like that. starlink is no contract
While New Zealand banks grapple with AI adoption, Māori communities are advocating for a fundamentally different approach to data governance. It treats data as taonga, an extension of a person’s wairua or spirit.
“It’s about how you store that data, how you use the data, how you protect the data and how you dispose of that data,” says Niao, who is deeply involved in Māori data sovereignty issues.
She gives an example of some government agencies that now perform karakia over data belonging to deceased individuals before disposal, acknowledging the person and their passing.
This approach contrasts sharply with the transactional model of big tech companies. Māori data sovereignty principles emphasise co-design with iwi and hapū, embedding tikanga into data governance frameworks to ensure equitable outcomes.
The principles are particularly important for government agencies holding sensitive information about Māori in justice, health and social services. Niao says: “We just want that data treated like a taonga”.
KPMG technology consulting partner Rachael Niao compares upgrading a bank’s core system to heart surgery: “It is really, really tricky … you’re tearing out the heart of your bank.”
She says all the major New Zealand banks are in the process of upgrading core systems. “They are making deep structural changes to those systems and modernising them to unlock innovation.”
It is the first time so many of New Zealand’s major banks have attempted this scale of change and, unusually, they are all going through transformations at roughly the same time.
“It’s not just about creating agility and resilience, or to be digital first, but it’s also about being able to use technologies like AI.”
Let me watch! Please. With more blood & real screams.
But it’s all a sham.
…..”they are all going through transformations at roughly the same time.”…..
That’s so that when the penny drops & the customers realise how they’re being used & played there’ll be no point in changing banks.
The nosey bastards are harvesting more & more information. The BNZ are now logging info on how you use a mouse & keyboard. It can only be a matter of time before they want to observe & digitalise your toilet routine.
Banks never change unless the advantages accrue to the bank.
More wishy washy shit. If you don’t want your justice dept data impinged upon, don’t get involved with the justice system ie don’t be a bad bastard and not commit a crime. It’s that simple.
Out and about today in the Waikato humidity. Followed behind a Tesla with Maori air conditioning. Got me thinking about the use of the battery to power the air conditioning.
With all the windows down, would this save the battery so the car could be driven further???
does the extra drag of windows down compensate what the AC wouldve used? could be a zero sum game, i think mythbusters tested something like that years ago windows down vs aircon and effect it had on fuel efficency.
anyways i prefer window down and so does my dog, a/c just isnt the same on the open road, different in town tho.
Depends if you have the heater on or not. No heater, then no battery drain.
Of course that would be offset by the passenger loading. Heavier loads require a greater energy output to move them.
c.f.a car full of Indians with a car full of Land Cruiser companions.
does vikey even know what maori air con is?
the poor old chaps probably confused as hell, he thinks its a colonist construct now and to throw a spanner in the works he thinks most maori must drive teslas now.
NURSE…. more meds please, and thats enough internet excitement for vikey today 🙂
I was being slightly sarcastic, knowing your population base to which you referred.
And then of course, if you consider a heat pump, many would call that a heater, but in fact, many are also coolers, so depending on your use of the English name, the results could be different.
From my knowledge a heat pump is just an air conditioning/refrigeration system , in a normal car it is driven by the engine and only does cold as heat comes for free. In an ev it is an electric pump and does the hot and the cold.
Got me thinking about the use of the battery to power the air conditioning.
With all the windows down, would this save the battery so the car could be driven further???
You talked about air conditioning, I commented on air conditioning, hence the comparison.
In 2025 Australia imported about 32% of its jet fuel from China. Who is now not exporting…… We decommissioned Marsden ( or at least Z did). Time to boycott Z fuel stations.
Not just Z. It had 4 major shareholders. It had a system that was old and uneconomical, and there were new petrol sellers in the market that were not using the refinery. Gull for one. Waitomo and some big users who bought directly from overseas.
Technology and costs were the drivers.
It matters not that its no longer producing. something else is taking shape..Read the information they out.
Rubbish ! !
Are you still darn to lazy, supposedly such a busy man, to check your sources, or are you on the Friday night sauce.
Just like quoting to me that Tauranga, particularly Gull is a big part of the Tank farms, but think about it, !!!
Gull put its tanks in 1999 in Tauraunga.
How many more have been added this say in the past 10 years?
So now where did Tauranga replaced the Wynard Tank Farm.
South Auckland near the air port seemed to add a few more tanks.
Maori Marae also stumped the build of other fuel tanks like at Totara Road in the early 2020’s.
The tanks that were built is to only have low sulphur fuel.
Sounds great.
Now what if NZ can not always obtain that low sulphur fuel, and I see Aussie is figuring to allow, mix in a bit more sulphur into the fuel.
The deviousness of adding reserves on what is loaded on ships coming to NZ & then supposedly having other countries have tanks of fuel, on paper reserved for NZ, …… yeah right …..
And now the centrifuge is in a tunnel, and nobody knows if it is spinning.

you shit the bed too Ed? bit early for an old wise coot like you 🙂 guess youre up counting all your loot from book sales!!!
First and only piss time all night. My snake oil formula is working to keep the prostate under control. What’s your excuse?
Counting all your loot from gold sales?🤩
What is this formula, have I missed something?
he massages it every night before bed then uses a suppository carefully crafted from his knowledge of traditional raonga maori and natural remidies.
I didn’t see that one coming. Are you a tranny, or asking for a friend?
I image every partner of a ‘large prostate’ would appreciate the formula for a better nights sleep, including your good wife, Mrs Holy?
Are you old enough to remember Alice Cooper? I saw him performing once and as far as I could tell he was a bloke.
Yeah but he did like to choke the chicken on stage. Rather literally.
E=mc something or other.
i wish! havent done gold for 3wks now ive been lazy and now stuck in holiday mode, i fell asleep too early last night so my body clock thought 330am was an excellent wake up time fml.
trumps winning bigly in his quest for regime change in iran and freeing the iranian people.
“Carless days”. Do electric cars get a pass?
no, its all about equity these days. youll probably be forced to loan it to a bro family
We have a phantom downticker who doesn’t like you SB
Hope that clarifies things for you.
i like plenty of what trump does, mainly domestic tho cuz hes shit at most international stuff.
and the iran thing doesnt do jack for most americans and its only serving israeli interests.
did you go check out the bitch that bought trump for 250million? between her, netenyahu and his son inlaw the jews have most of trumos puppet strings under control…. dance trump, dance.
Trump has had this thought out for a long time. Netenyahoo is the annoying factor.
Afghanistan wouldn’t be the fuck up it is now if biden hadn’t done what he did. He essentially sabotaged the place for the benefit of the mullahs.
Wasn’t me, although it’s a heap of horseshit.
awww i wanted to be a special retard too and downtick my own comment but it wont let me 🙁
Downticked, just so you don’t feel too retarded. You owe me one…
that would just make you retarded tho and im still missing out on all the retarded fun
Why would you bother?

Figured that out a long time ago. Mate has a Mercedes, one of those low things. He’s tall and quite agile but I can barley get into the thing. Rather have something I can step into.
You just need to attach your neck tie to the top of the door and then open the gull wing. Voila! On ya feet.
my old south african neighbour was built like a brick shithouse, he got his dream car and his performance getting in and out of the thing was much much worse than that.
his head would hit the roof and steering wheel hard against his torso, he pretended to be super stoked with it but you could tell it pained him badly he couldnt enjoy it.
Morning all, still raining.
Hot and sunny in the Waikato. I reckon the rain will skip around us
Had a few drops of gentle rain overnight.
Thunderstorms on the way. Hot and cold air coming together about Auckland.

Why would you kill the millions of Iranians who are not Muslim?
They are a very peaceful race which, of course, became their problem.
Collateral damage
The Iranian regime are using civilians as human shields in hospitals and schools, etc.
The revolutionary guard terrorising the people of Iran on the streets are being individually targeted by US drones… Kaboom💥💥
I’d like to volunteer somebody as a human shield..⬇️⬇️

As shown in comments, the New & Ancient Order of Rights are again the “New Normal” all okayed obligations as was Parliamentary accepted & through the Justice system.
All to be bought into equality & equity practice through out the colonly.

Oh so you can pay The Post then.
Hunty the Free Rider
Were you asleep yesterday?
Thats yesterdays news.
Why dont you shut the fuck up
The scary part is you have to wonder how many rip offs he was involved in and how much he stole off us taxpayers when he was an M.P. This is yet another bad look for Labour that will no doubt be quietly shoved under the carpet.
bad look? i think shit like that is a requirement to be in labour isnt it.
No. You were thinking of paedophilia & being gender fluid.
Being a thieving cunt is assumed.
Labour must have the same candidate requirements as the Greens – blind faith and friends in the right places.
since the left is all about equity they should be allowed to stay at home but apply a special tax so they can help pay the increasing fuel costs of kiwis who dont have that option… its only fair and equitable, the same fair and equitable outcomes the left demand for everything else 🙂 and being a mainly leftist public sector im sure theyll have no worries at all getting onboard with it ////
https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/business/589432/calls-to-let-workers-stay-home-to-beat-fuel-prices
fuck the cunts, take your precious public transport
The lanyard wearing self-aggrandising elites such as the msm don’t understand not all work can be done from home 🙄
Those who can work from home mostly don’t produce anything tangible we can’t live without.
You forgot “rainbow” before lanyard. It honestly nearly makes me sick. It’s a good way of recognising a woke commie fucktard though.
Will Coleshill
@WillColeshill
Our country once made a grave mistake.
The hour is late.
We cannot afford to fail this time.

“Hundreds of thousands of pounds of taxpayer money have been spent on this failed prosecution. The CPS now needs to explain why they were so determined to invent a blasphemy law,”
https://www.meforum.org/fwi/fwi-news/u-k-high-court-denies-prosecutors-appeal-targeting-free-speech-activist
“Act like you have Covid. With that mindset, it will be far easier for us to push the jab. Suckers.”
Line up Cindy and get your real shot, you and your family in public!
It is rumoured that Iran has asked the Democrats for advice on running country with dead leader.
i see their leader is a cardboard cut out at the moment, thats hilarious and i see babylon bee didnt let the opportunity of a piss take go to waste.

Beautifully skewered.
Taking a few days off in Manly. Just a few kms up the road is where Jax is buying. FJA and everyone who votes red, green or brown.
Western officials seized on a dubious death toll of 30,000 protesters to escalate against Iran. The number originates with a single, clearly compromised source. But a zealously pro-war Guardian reporter is doing her best to legitimize it.The claim of “30,000 killed” during two days of protests and rioting across Iran appears to be based largely on a single anonymous source, who admitted extrapolating that figure by assuming without evidence that “officially registered deaths related to the crackdown likely represent less than 10% of the real number of fatalities.”
https://thegrayzone.com/2026/02/01/guardian-iranian-death-toll-concocted-monarchist-doctors/
the same bunch of clowns that pushed the 30k slaughtered are the same who were saying dont believe gaza death tolls.

New Zealand ministers are monitoring reports that South Korea could restrict fuel exports as the Iran war disrupts global oil markets, raising questions about the country’s fuel security.
https://centrist.nz/south-korea-export-ban-fears-raise-fuel-security-concerns/
We screwed Korea over on the ferry contract so why should we expect any favours in return from them?
I agree Ed.
Nothing really changes.
Pleased you have studied it in detail. Couldn’t be bothered myself.
mr hooker phil…. oysters, lots of yummy bluff oysters are available!!!
just got 4doz fresh 2nd grades theyre 48bux for 2 doz this year, Agrades 37 per doz and i guess in supermarkets etc theyll be even more expensive..
they dunno how long the season will last as quotas been cut so get in quick if you want a feed.
Report: Hamilton sheet metal company busy supplying new fuel tanks around the country to farmers stocking up on fuel.
Farmers will have to increase security if there is a shortage or majorly more expensive.
where i used to work we had a 20k litre tank… when we got really busy through the peak it would get filled twice a week, this time of year that would only last them 10-14 days at most.
a few lil tanks wouldnt help the likes of that, the average dairy or sheep cocky tho an extra 1000L would keep them ticking a while if they were conservative.
i dont reckon we’ll run out or get to rationing but media will certainly push that narrative to try get the govt to misstep so they can pile on.
if its becomes clear high prices and iran shit will continue for some time the govt could win favour and bring forward the RUC on all vehicles, even just a voluntary changeover and do temporary fuel tax rebates until its fully implemented… although im sure some sweet fraud would go on with the rebates and claiming other ppls fuel so fuck knows, probs in the too hard basket.
Be careful what you wish for. You might be raided by ferals looking for cheap fuel.
Best be stum about stuff like this.
yea true that. theres already been a bit of that going on around here, farm a few km away got 2000L cleaned out last weekend. gotta be inside job tho as all of the cameras were avoided so they knew what they were doing. probs a pissed ex slave?
Is that the one where you used to slave……………….?
How do you cart away 2000L ………….OR HOW DID YOU?
lol, nah theyre wifeys mates neighbours. and i was in aussie at the time!
i havent done naughty things like that since around 2008 before i met mrs sb, she would cut my dick n balls off if i got up to no good. she may be lil HP but she can be a very scary lil lady!
im guessing a mobile tanker or a trailer of drums over a couple of nights, its ballsy cuz that would take a while to pull off with gravity fed tanks.
5 x 44 gallon drums the new 200 litre size.
That would weigh circa one tonne, just right for one flat deck ute.
A trailer for the other 5 drums would be easy.
5 200 lts water is approx 1100 kgs. drums are 20kgs each
5 200 lts fuel will be 1150 -1200 kgs
All depends on the specific gravity of the liquid.
SG of diesel is about .85.
E is supposed to be E for enough. 🙃
I had such a faulty gauge on 1 ute, that when filled the needle dived down to E.
Fortunately it rose to half when circa half, before the final dive.
Trip meter was helpful in interpreting in which phase it was, whether it was doing a double dip.
Fair go Tarquin. The area you call home needs an industrial grade exorcism & soon.
Today’s https://www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/360950795/human-remains-found-island-east-whangarei-belong-missing-person reveals that you’ve dead Indians floating around.
Then yesterday https://www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/360949797/hundreds-mutilated-dolls-found-deep-whangarei-bush suggest satanic doings in the bush.
You lot need to shower in Holy Water before Beelzebub starts harvesting your souls!
dang, wonder if his body drifted ashore or if he made it their alive and starved/dehydrated? surely if drifted the remains wouldve got scattered by the surf
Rather a rocky sort of a place. Almost no sandy bits, so if he did make it might have died on there.

Contact The Boss to arrange for a demonstration.
the precious marxist bitch will be beatified Saint Comrade Dame if some bastard totally loses it and ..you know what !! ..not inconceivable given the hatred for the fucken bitch

[ hey anybody on (bother with) Spark 4G wireless
whats your down/up load speed as matter of interest
come back anybody ?
..nobody got 4G wireless then ?
for home?
we used to, it was reasonably reliable and fast enough for our needs while it was just me n wifey using it but once kids started using devices and youtube etc it chewed it and blew our data cap.
starlink worked out much cheaper at the time and unlimited so we switched (200gb and cunts screwed us $120pm). spark have now drastically lowered their prices to compete, ive never had starlink drop out even once. spark would drop out for an hour or 2 once or twice a week where i live but we’re on the edge of service area and usually only had 1 sometimes 2 bars.
if cost isnt a worry go starlink residential lite, if youre on a budget then go with spark just make sure youre not locked in on 2 yr contract or some bullshit like that. starlink is no contract
..i’m the only backward tnuC ffs
I never noticed that. Very good sir. 💥😂
Niao says: “We just want that data treated like a taonga”.
https://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/business-reports/dynamic-business/new-zealand-banks-race-to-replace-legacy-systems-and-unlock-ai-power/PSVGJQFGQBGWFHAYFBWSIWR57Q/
…..”you’re tearing out the heart of your bank.”……
That’s a radical concept. It will never catch on.
With personal elbow leaning or gutter gripping optional extras. 💪
Not just the elbow, some are so wide they almost push the door open and have their shoulder and arms out.
Lol who killed them all. YEAH well I thought it was LOL.
Depends if you have the heater on or not. No heater, then no battery drain.
Of course that would be offset by the passenger loading. Heavier loads require a greater energy output to move them.
c.f.a car full of Indians with a car full of Land Cruiser companions.
For fuck sake Viking, who would have the heater on in the Waikato humidity and all the windows down. Maybe you do that in the BOP but not here.
does vikey even know what maori air con is?
the poor old chaps probably confused as hell, he thinks its a colonist construct now and to throw a spanner in the works he thinks most maori must drive teslas now.
NURSE…. more meds please, and thats enough internet excitement for vikey today 🙂
Farting in the car, especially after a decent curry and cabbage, accelerates the use of Maori air conditioning.
Does that help?
Oh, and having your dog in the cab is a good way to find out.
Is Maori air con, kick the windscreen out?
I was being slightly sarcastic, knowing your population base to which you referred.
And then of course, if you consider a heat pump, many would call that a heater, but in fact, many are also coolers, so depending on your use of the English name, the results could be different.
It’s a colonialist fact, don’t ya know.
Its prudent to stop when you start talking shit, what has a heat pump got to do with running a cars air con?
From my knowledge a heat pump is just an air conditioning/refrigeration system , in a normal car it is driven by the engine and only does cold as heat comes for free. In an ev it is an electric pump and does the hot and the cold.
Doesn’t all domestic a/c have hot and cold settings? Every model we’ve ever had does. Change to winter heating and summer cooling is under ‘MODE’. ☀️💨
To convulted for you tonight, then.
Got me thinking about the use of the battery to power the air conditioning.
With all the windows down, would this save the battery so the car could be driven further???
You talked about air conditioning, I commented on air conditioning, hence the comparison.
here’s a real life story and listen to what he says about using electric in the winter.

It’s life Jim but not as we know it…….
Fuck the ANZACs are doing welll
In 2025 Australia imported about 32% of its jet fuel from China. Who is now not exporting…… We decommissioned Marsden ( or at least Z did). Time to boycott Z fuel stations.
Not just Z. It had 4 major shareholders. It had a system that was old and uneconomical, and there were new petrol sellers in the market that were not using the refinery. Gull for one. Waitomo and some big users who bought directly from overseas.
Technology and costs were the drivers.
It matters not that its no longer producing. something else is taking shape..Read the information they out.
I thought Waitomo was supplied by Mobil.
Yes it is based on Mobil.
https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/better-business/124966164/the-kiwi-disruptor-thats-fueling-kiwis#:~
So indirecty connected with Mobil at that time to close the Marsden Point refinery
Now owned by gull.
Rubbish !
Gave them the flick years ago!
