WELLINGTON, NZ — Finance Minister Nicola Willis announced today that New Zealand will immediately drain every single car in the country completely dry of petrol to eliminate the risk of even one single drop of fuel shortage from the Iran war.
“We achieved zero COVID cases with traffic lights, so why not zero drops of petrol?” Willis beamed, channelling her inner Jacinda. “Level 1 is monitoring. Level 4 is siphoning the whole fleet — it’s just science.”
The new four-level fuel dashboard is literally the old COVID alert system with a pump slapped on it. Back then we locked down the entire nation for one Auckland grandma; now we’re emptying every tank for one missing litre. “We still have 50 days of stock,” Willis reassured, “but we’re not taking any chances — exactly like we didn’t in 2021.”
Level 3 brings purchase limits, no jerry cans, alternate-day driving, and now mandatory car-draining stations for non-essentials. Ministers’ EVs get a free pass, of course. Everyone else? Push your empty vehicle home like the good old lockdown walks.
Kiwis reacted exactly as they did during COVID: instant Facebook groups swapping toilet-paper memes for “petrol-siphon 2.0,” photos of people hiding fuel in 44-gallon drums, and the nationwide chorus of “here we go again.” X lit up with replies like “Willis is Jacinda with a bigger straw — same smile, new flavour of empty tank.”
Right about now, every Kiwi is quietly googling “Muldoon car-less days” while laughing at the dashboard and praying we never see that flashing red fuel-pump icon. She’ll be right, mate… until Level 4.
just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse.
A street sign reading “Dead End” is about to be removed in Reefton. Council officials warned it could be offensive to members of the dead community.
I kid you not
Had a first aid refresher course yesterday and it started off with a karakia. I’m not accustomed to this and got to wondering how it’s become a thing. I mean it’s not just PC madness, it’s also weird. It’s not like we used to start meetings with the Lord’s Prayer, and then someone decided that it had to be in maori because of “equity”. Why do we put up with this shit? What if praying to pagan gods is against your religion? Are you allowed to walk out, or is that a career-limiting move?
Maori witnessed the Christian bullshit of starting everything from a school day to the opening of a toilet block to parliament with prayer & realised that it set the tone of the occasion & rubber stamped the authority of the leaders of the time.
They’re as cunning as shithouse rats & have hijacked the wank for their own promotion.
theyre so fucking entitled, bet shes white maori too. and being a typical nz reggin she thought being head of her charitable trust ment it was all charitable to her… remove that status and whack the fucker with a good tax bill of unpaid taxes of the years.
#. “……….developing edible vaccines and vaccines for mosquitoes to turn them into “flying vaccines” “.
#. “These flying vaccinators or flying syringes………..Aedes aegypti mosquitoes engineered to carry vaccines in their saliva have been used in the Wuhan Institute of Virology (“WIV”).”
Probably. Yet since the overall object of the exercise is to reduce the world’s population down to 500 million or thereabouts that side effect is likely considered as a benefit.
stupid boy is still stuck in holiday mode, i wont ask hunty for advice how to get outve it cuz clearly he failed at it many years ago.
ive pretty much taken 3wks off doing sweet fuck all for a 1wk holiday, awsome really and the body n mind needed it (i can hear vikeys envious wailing from here 🙂 ). trying to get motivated again is not working out too well tho, im a good procastinator now so maybe ill try tommorow….
WINZ are waiting patiently for your benefit application.
What are you going to give as an excuse?
Idle and disorderly.
Drug fucked.
Been sacked again.
Can’t find a job.
Can’t be bothered.
Girlfriend has some babes, and she wants to work.
No Car.
Add to the list anything that they will go for.
They won’t accept ya got a bit of brown brush in ya.
i get phone calls 4-5 times per week wanting me to work but meh, dont want too, dont really need to and chasing gold on my own time is more fun than being someones bitch… hourly rate pays 10-15x better aswell. take today for example, tinkered away for 2hrs and found bit over 600bux of gold, only cost me $20 petrol and $25 diesel.
if i work for some other cnut its only $40-45 per hour and still cost me fuel to get there, id have to drive for 12-15hrs to make the same. stupid boys working smarter not harder 🙂
just cant really do too much swimming around over winter but hopefully my gold hunting skills will evolve to dry land!
This is how it’s done. Apparently. Call Winz and explain to them that you need to go on welfare. You have had a bad year, and you have no cash to pay ya borrowings. Apparently, you will go in and fill out a few forms. Talk shit to some desk jockey. Don’t forget to shed a small tear when you do, apparently. Bingo on the dole. Enjoy. Disgusting.
Don’t beat up on yourself for becoming a tired, workshy, procrastinating no-hoper who accomplishes fuck all.
Instead, see yourself as a highly trained operative ready to step in should NZ’s 22 permanent full-time coroners & the staff of Coronial Services be wiped out in a plane crash. 🙂
aw man, i was more aiming for a tpm mp or a tampon stocker for mens toilets.
anyways ive got as far as turning my wetsuit in the right way. who knew it would ever be so hard to want to go find 1or 2k of gold nuggets for the day 🙁 momentum is great, once im into it im sweet but stop for even a couple days and its super hard to get back into the routine.
it expanded slightly while on holiday but only gained a fraction of the 20kg ive lost since august.
managed to go for a bit of a paddle, scored 2.5grams of gold for 2hrs of scratching around so im happy.
They’re coming after free speech & the battle cry is “will no-one think of the children?”
This morning’s email from the Free Speech Union warns on the findings of Parliament’s Education and Workforce Committee set up to report on online harms facing young New Zealanders. As expected it has gone full retard.
#. “It makes 12 recommendations, including a new national online safety regulator, age restrictions for social media, stronger platform liability for harm, regulation of recommendation systems, mandated algorithm transparency, and further exploration of VPN evasion and age-verification tools.”
It comes with little surprise to learn that:
#. “…….instead of first defining the harms, auditing existing law, and identifying genuine gaps, it leapfrogs straight to new powers, new infrastructure, and a new regulator. With enthusiasm!”
It fails to identify the problem & the targets of the proposed measures:
#. “What exactly is the harm? Grooming? Sextortion? Exposure to pornography? Deepfake sexual abuse? Compulsive platform design? Bullying? Self-harm content? Illegal material already covered under existing law?”
We know that it’s a manufactured scam to rein in free speech & introduce digital ID by the back door. The challenge is to warn of the Trojan horse at the gates.
Can one buy petrol on Temu? Its Interesting that no one has asked our useless government if they would buy petrol from Russia. ( or even Russian oil via India). I know our third world status in terms of refining products is a slight impediment to solving this problem, but…. Also did NZ not make petrol out of coal at some stage?. I know South Africa has been since the 1950s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sasol
#. “In the 19th century coal was mined then transported by rail and coastal shipping. It was taken to homes and businesses by horse and cart.”
All true. When I started work as the yard boy for the transport company which was to employ me for the next 19 years one afternoon of each week was devoted to coal deliveries around town in a light K Bedford. Many households relied on small coal burners to heat water. Coal would arrive in bulk by rail then be trucked to our yard where muggins shovelled it into chaff bags. At 17 I was as a result of good tucker & hard yakka shaping up well. Never leaving a a chance go by, deliveries near the local High School were timed to coincide with the chicky babes walking home who appreciated the view of a young Nasska in shorts & a coal jacket.
The gas works had closed before I arrived in town but the area where it had been was treated as you would an atomic bomb test site. It was badly contaminated & no-one could think of anything to do with the site. Same problem in Masterton.
While the Fisher-Tropp (Oil from coal) process as used by SASOL has not so far been used in NZ, oil has certainly been extracted from oil-shale deposits in this country, specifically at Orepuki in Southland, where an oil-extraction plant operated during the years 1899-1903. However, several large American-based oil companies arrived in NZ in 1902-1903 and bought with them cheap US-sourced petrol which severely undercut the price of the Orepuki product. Inevitably this resulted in a bit of NZ Govt finegling which, when combined with a conveniently -timed report indicating that the oil-shale resource was declining, ultimately meant that the Orepuki plant simply couldn’t compete, and was ‘Forced to close’. Some would say that this was intentional. The shale is certainly still there, but the economics (And political will) aren’t, so it is unlikely that extraction of oil from shale will ever be revived in NZ. It had been an interesting exercise.
During WW2 when NZ was experiencing severe petrol rationing (as low as 2 gallons or 9 litres per month) there were a few cars adapted to run on coal gas.
was it burt munroe who had a coal powered car? one of our well known kiwis at the time did, it had a gasifier on it and would have to heat the coal 20mins or so before he wanted to drive.
Don’t know about Burt Munroe but he was a talented engineer who wouldn’t be greatly challenged to put one together. They were well gone by the time I started remembering what I had seen but my old man had experience of them during the war. You’re right on the delay. Also they were shockingly hard on the motors of the time probably because of timing & lubrication issues.
He reckoned they were as slow as a wet week at Xmas but beat the hell out of walking.
they did ask only a couple days ago, willis said no as its not needed and weve got plenty of fuel coming apparently.
fwiw mates old man drives fuel tankers, he said theres ships waiting to unload here but the port side tanks are chocko and wont be any shortage soon…. but that wont stop media preaching doom and triggering hysteria. fuel is the new toilet paper but this time round poor doers cant feel like the kings they did with $600 of toilet paper cuz the equivilent in fuel isnt that spectacular.
Thanks for that. The decision I am grappling with is when to stock up. Will prices drop, or do I buy now ( I need it for farm related stuff). Other issue is what is the shelf life of fuel in a container… Wish they would get the war over and done with.
farm farm or lifestyle block? if a full on farm then dont fuck around and just fill it in the next few weeks to be safe, lifestyle block not so important unless you rely on any income it generates.
i had a bunch of money in my accounts last month so filled my bulk tank for the first time in a couple of years and stoked i did, ive used a couple hundred litres but im gunna leave the rest incase the doom predictions do come true and we run out or get rationed. ill just pay the extra as i need it for time being.
i put fuel conditioner in it to kill diesel bug, mainly cuz the tank sat idle for so long. cost 60 odd bux to treat 1000L.
running quad bike and my gold gear ive always got plenty of jerry cans, bout 200L petrol and i just cycle through them using the oldest then filling them next trip to town. DONT use old oil drums unless you triple rinse with some petrol, the oil residue will make the petrol go off in no time at all. store them on a slight lean and dont suck the last few litres out from the bottom corner as itll have a bit of moisture buildup from condensation.
plastic 200L drums are better aswell, if in a few weeks petrol supply looks iffy ill go fill a couple of drums… but my luck that will guarantee the price drops the following week.
stupid boy is a prepper at heart so i always err on the side of caution and have a backup plan.
My policy cuts out at 50 litres unless it’s in a tank. ie 5 x 10 litre cans/containers is max. This includes turps, thinners. 2 stroke mix & AFAIK diesel.
You could have a disused car with a full tank & pump the petrol in & out & there wouldn’t be a problem.
You can always wipe your arse with rangiora leaves or torn up cement sacks. At a pinch Stuff or Herald newspapers will work though you’ll have to scrape the shit off them first.
I’d go for petrol. It’s a bit harder to find a substitute for.
Florida Senate Passes Bill Imposing $50,000 Penalty on Trucking Companies That Employ Undocumented Immigrant Drivers — Trucks to Be Impounded Until Fine Is Paid
TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA — The Florida Senate passed a bill on March 6, 2026, that would impose a $50,000 civil penalty on trucking companies whose vehicles are driven by undocumented immigrants, with trucks impounded until the penalty is paid or bond is posted.
The proposal, SB 86, passed on a 29-5 vote and was sponsored by Sen. Don Gaetz, R-Niceville. It came in direct response to a deadly crash last August on Florida’s Turnpike in St. Lucie County, in which semi-truck driver Harjinder Singh, a native of India, allegedly attempted a U-turn and caused a crash that killed three people. Singh had been issued a standard commercial driver’s license in Washington state in 2023 and subsequently a non-domiciled CDL in California.
“The purpose of the bill is to remove imminent hazards from our highways and to discourage those who would use illegals to operate commercial vehicles in Florida,” Gaetz said.
Under the measure, law enforcement officers would be directed to take truck drivers determined to be undocumented immigrants into custody and transfer them to federal immigration officials. Trucks driven by undocumented immigrants would be impounded until the $50,000 civil penalty is paid or bond is posted. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles could also issue a service order prohibiting the carrier from operating commercial vehicles in the state altogether.
The House version of the bill, HB 1247, has not yet advanced with one week remaining in the regular legislative session. Florida law already declares invalid any driver’s license issued by another state to an individual unable to prove lawful presence in the U.S., and the state is already prohibited from issuing a CDL to anyone who is not a Florida resident.
Governor Ron DeSantis, speaking in Yulee on Thursday, noted that Florida and the Trump administration are working to prevent states from issuing driver’s licenses in foreign languages. “How ridiculous is it that you’re doing this and you can’t even read the street signs,” DeSantis said. On February 6, the state Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles ended exams for most non-commercial driver classifications in Spanish and Haitian Creole.
Am I missing something about the newly approved data centre that is going to be built in Southland? It’s power consumption will up there with Tiwai Point (maybe not equal but up there in the same region).
So given we periodically have discussions of closing Tiwai Point to ensure NZ has enough power, how did this project get approval before any new major electricity capacity is put in place? Are they going to install a mini nuclear plant ?///
Will Ian Taylor & co come against it like they are with the gold mine? I would think it is a much more important issue.
once built it will be the second largest electricity consumer in nz although only 20% of what tiwai consumes.
hopefully Dougals right and they lack funding so it dosent happen but its for ai so no doubt some private equity fund will get in on the hype and stump up some mega bux… or dumb fuck nats will give out some big business welfare so we can all get higher power bills.
fuck, you know what one of those options will happen dont you.
As long as Westfarmers own Woolworths, then there will be no solution.
They don’t care, and they are quite happy to screw anyone out of money.
Watties have been losing coin, so as its bugger asset cost in the scheme of things, the plants are going.
Happens all the time.
Meat works went, forest processors gone, manufacturing gone.
We don’t focus on productivity nor research anywhere enough.
We do export drones to Ukraine if that’s any help.
The average working NZer are not the priority of the corporate/state owner socialism being imposed on us. Outsourcing food production to Chinese grown crap is cheaper.
I don’t think so Ed. Tiwai’s owners signed a new agreement for power supply only a year or so back and the agreement was for about 30 years ( I cannot remember the exact figure, but it was a long term)
Also since posting the above I have read that a Trans Power spokesman has said the grid can handle it –there are quite a few wind farms going through the consenting process down there and one or two solar plants —what sort of idiots are employed by Trans Power ?
You should see the size of the solar farm going in at Ruakaka. It starts at the intersection of McCathie road and Marsden Point Road and runs the length of it all the way to Port Marsden Highway to the west and goes the best part of a couple of KS north towards the Port. The land is a flood zone so it’s probably for the best. There must be hundreds maybe thousands of these panels going in. Apparently they’re putting in a cable to take the power down the battery bank which is down by the refinery. This must be costing an absolute fortune, hope it doesn’t hail.
Was the Bluff aluminum claim to fame was the most purest & the most greenist aluminum in the world?
Where the other talk of using the power to create hydrogen so that it also would be the greenist hydrogen in the world.
All of this showing that New Zealand is punch-drunk on leading the world in the most purest & greenist.
Many Kiwis bathe in it, but does those claims pay the bills?
Sort of as the ‘+green palmolive dish washing liquid’ advert goes according to Madge, “You are soaking in it”
“Squeaky clean” …. yeah right ….
So all those points will all be claimed by the data-centre to white-wash & brain-wash New Zealanders again.
So whose money will follow that seed money??
Canadian or Australian Pension Funds?
Or New Zealand Superannuation Investment Funds?
Maduro’s Bombshell: Venezuelan Dictator Poised to Expose Massive Election-Rigging Conspiracy Involving U.S. Governors
With Nicolás Maduro now in U.S. custody facing narco-terrorism charges after his dramatic January capture, explosive reports are emerging that the former Venezuelan strongman is cooperating with federal prosecutors. Sources indicate he is ready to testify in a sweeping RICO case targeting American officials who allegedly accepted millions in bribes to rig elections using Dominion and Smartmatic systems—the very technology long used to prop up dictators in Venezuela, including Maduro himself.
Key figures reportedly in the crosshairs include Georgia’s Brian Kemp and Brad Raffensperger, along with Michigan’s Gretchen Whitmer and Jocelyn Benson. These officials stand accused of taking foreign cash to deploy compromised voting machines and software that flipped votes against President Trump and America First candidates starting in the stolen 2020 election.
This isn’t speculation from the fringes—it’s the culmination of years of warnings about foreign interference in our elections. Maduro, desperate to secure immunity in his own drug-trafficking prosecution, holds the keys to exposing the network of corrupt governors, secretaries of state, and election officials who betrayed the American people.
The deep state and their media allies will scream “conspiracy theory,” but the facts are lining up: a captured foreign leader singing to save his skin, hard evidence of rigged systems, and a justice system finally waking up under strong leadership.
The reckoning is here. Crooked politicians who sold out our democracy for Venezuelan payoffs are about to face justice. As President Trump has called them: stone-cold crooks. Lock them up.
Maduro is apparently as dumb as a box of rocks so will probably sing like a bird. It’s Maduro’s wife who was the brains and sadistic with the way she treated the people of Veneuzela.
Absolutely believe that Epstein did not kill himself. Too many “important” people were worried about what Epstein could reveal.
Epstein was not that smart to not have sent information to places that would be discovered upon his death. Maxwell, on the other hand probably did so and benefitted from doing so.
I personally believe that Trump was very involved in Epsteins chinanigans and has been instrumental in making sure that information has not gotten out.
I predict that eventually the total truth will come out. I hope that I am still alive to see that,
REAKING: Former Democrat Governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich, who has known Barack Obama for over 30 years, has come forward in a tell-all to reveal that Obama never really was a community organizer, weaponized his Justice Department to throw Blagojevich in prison for 8 years because he viewed him as a political threat and ABUSED HIS OFFICE to DEMAND a six figure salary job on the board of a prominent Chicago hospital for his husband Michelle and a million dollar mansion for the two of them from Governor Blagojevich the moment that Obama was elected US Senator from Illinois.
Blagojevich says that longtime Obama advisor and ally David Axelrod asked Blago to consider running for the Democratic nomination for President in 2008 and upon learning this, Obama used his lapdogs in the media to slander the Governor and drag his name through the mud and had him “set up” by the FBI and criminally charged in order to get rid of one of his leading political opponents.
It turns out that it was actually Obama who approached Blagojevich about the infamous sale of his Senate seat and then framed him discussing it on tape. Blago says that Obama is not in fact “pure like the driven snow” and is in fact one of the more selfish, corrupt people in politics.
Governor Blagojevich has now been found innocent of all charges, pardoned by President Trump and has decided to put country over party by coming forward to EXPOSE the evil deeds of Barack Hussein Obama.
Democrats accuse President Trump of weaponizing the DOJ against his political enemies but that is exactly what Obama did to Blago. Blagojevich was Obama’s original victim… Thank you to this patriot for coming forward to reveal THE TRUTH to the American people: Barack Obama was the most corrupt President in the history of our country.
After the Maori discovered Antarctica they did a victory lap of the world before heading back to NZ. The footprints will lead to a midden full of KFC buckets.
Stunning, stunning day today trendsetters here in Nelson. The Hunster packed his six-pack and Speedos and headed down to Tahunanui Beach. It rivals Phuket for white sandy beaches. There must have been no more than 30 other tax dodgers there. Hunty and his 1.88m 95kg frame is in his happy place again.😁
Lovin it. Being back home in NZ makes you realise what a cool place it is. No other in the world like it. It’s not for me loong term, but it really is a corker country, and the people are second to none. Living in Phuket, you get to see a plethora of other cultures, and there is some fuking scum out there. Russians take pole position; they are despised. French and German are the next box of assholes. But as I said, being home is very refreshing and very grounding. Kiwis really are one out of the bag. Pat yourselves on the back trendsetters. We are a great bunch.
I have never met a Russian so can’t comment on them but have met a number of French people that I wish I had never met. I speak Dutch, German, Spanish and English pretty fluently and do speak some French ( took French class in high school). When in France the locals forced me to speak my broken French even though I am certain they could speak English.
you rent when youre back here hunty or you boot some poor tenants out?
im not well travelled but a few years in aussie and i realised how much nicer nz is hence why i forgo much higher wages and quality of life to remain here in nz.
im an outdoors guy, hunting in aussie is shit and limited, the fishing is pretty bloody average and now large swathes of coast are closed to all fishing and the dirty fucking flies and abos are pretty shit.
where i live im 4-5mins from primo trout fishing, 1¼hrs to the ocean and awsome fishing/diving and 30mins from good deer hunting. i also dont have to worry about raging wildfires destroying my house and all the neighbours aswell
Rent when back. Not here a long time, so it’s no drama. Have a clever Accountant..say no more. Yeah Aussie. I’ve spent time there, my drunk sister lives on the Goldy, I drove B Trains on the Goldy, but it’s not a patch on NZ. It’s cliché, but NZ really is awesome and second to none. I’ve been to many, many countries, the low point being India, and believe me when I say, NZ is FARKING awesome.
We are very lucky.

more gullable stuff from randos on x?
The government must be very happy that all the legislation is in place, so whatever they want to do is swiftly done by an ‘Order in Council’.
Or just call it an “Emergency” so the ‘Civil Defence’ can command & order whatever it deems fit according to the clipboard tick-boxers apparatchiks
…….. 2024 document from Civil Defence – ranging from voluntary requests to the public to conserve fuel to mandatory closures of service stations. ……
…… Petroleum Demand Restraint Act [1981] …..
https://www.1news.co.nz/2026/03/14/fuel-crisis-potential-restrictions-as-supply-concern-grows/
Why worry about doing the “mandatory”, as so many times my local service station had no diesel or gas to sell in the past 5 years?
Would NZ be able to buy any fuel that was sourced from Russia, now that the sanctions have been eased?
Luxon says NO, Putin is a bad man.
Love the navy one. Might as well just kiss their arse goodbye.
Singing Maori hymns ain’t going to help!
lol its nz navy, the dei hire captain of the ship will be yelling “dive, dive, dive”…. and we get ourselves another submarine

Along similar communist indoctrination foolery, in the UK the state education system is teaching English children Islamist teachings. 💩 🤡
Was it with hone st john?
yep
Did you refuse to tag along?
If you are game stand-up and turn your back, will they sing hymns!
Might get failed on your course, though.

The hand signal for being held captive would be more appropriate.
The Flying Spaghetti Monster needs to make a comeback.
If it wasn’t work related walk out and find somewhere else to do you refresher course
why did you put up with that shit? i take it you made no objections….
it wont be long before karakia need recited before using a defib and then theyll wonder why so many more kiwis are dying.
I made no objections because it’s an environment where I really don’t want to make waves. And therein lies the problem.

anyways ive got as far as turning my wetsuit in the right way. who knew it would ever be so hard to want to go find 1or 2k of gold nuggets for the day 🙁 momentum is great, once im into it im sweet but stop for even a couple days and its super hard to get back into the routine.
Be honest. Thats because your lethargy has resulted in your gut expansion and the wet suit will not fit.
it expanded slightly while on holiday but only gained a fraction of the 20kg ive lost since august.
managed to go for a bit of a paddle, scored 2.5grams of gold for 2hrs of scratching around so im happy.
Yeah same for me but it happens every morning.
But, but, Erica Stanford said she was watching how the regulation was working in the UK, Europe and Aussie so NZ could make the best version. //
Ultimately shutting down free speech. That woman has some serious authoritarian tendencies 🤬.
The government needs to leave us alone.
A little history of the NZ coal-gas times.
It became an issue of who subsidized who & why,.
….. New Zealand it was provided by local authorities and private companies from the 1860s on.
By 1916 there were gasworks in 56 cities and towns. ……
…… coal gas continued to be supplied until the 1970s, ….
https://teara.govt.nz/en/energy-supply-and-use/page-7
I recall some of the debate of the closing of them, & what to with the obsolence gas works in some cities.
After the electricity take over, then natural gas started to flow.
From S1’s link:
Same for Wellington and Petone.
We had the Motonui synfuel plant that made petrol from natural gas. Of course we’d need the gas now to do that.
Don’t know if we’ve ever done coal to petroleum products.
fja
Tx Komata. An interesting piece of NZ history I knew zip about.
During WW2 when NZ was experiencing severe petrol rationing (as low as 2 gallons or 9 litres per month) there were a few cars adapted to run on coal gas.
https://teara.govt.nz/en/video/21458/coal-gas-for-cars-1940s
was it burt munroe who had a coal powered car? one of our well known kiwis at the time did, it had a gasifier on it and would have to heat the coal 20mins or so before he wanted to drive.
Pollies national and local could run their cars on hot air and bullshit.
they did ask only a couple days ago, willis said no as its not needed and weve got plenty of fuel coming apparently.
fwiw mates old man drives fuel tankers, he said theres ships waiting to unload here but the port side tanks are chocko and wont be any shortage soon…. but that wont stop media preaching doom and triggering hysteria. fuel is the new toilet paper but this time round poor doers cant feel like the kings they did with $600 of toilet paper cuz the equivilent in fuel isnt that spectacular.
Petrol deteriorates fairly quickly though adding a fuel conditioner can extend its life out to a couple of years. Eg https://www.supercheapauto.co.nz/p/penrite-penrite-octane-booster-375ml/598859.html There are equivalents for diesel marketed as cetane boosters.
Just have a quick look at your house insurance as most companies exclude cover if bulk fuel is stored.
What is bulk fuel?
My policy cuts out at 50 litres unless it’s in a tank. ie 5 x 10 litre cans/containers is max. This includes turps, thinners. 2 stroke mix & AFAIK diesel.
You could have a disused car with a full tank & pump the petrol in & out & there wouldn’t be a problem.
Fuel is all stored afar away from the house in a metal shed, but thanks for the heads up.
Should you stock up in petrol or bog paper

We could do this. too.
We already do, in Maori!
You’ve heard about a band-aid solution but this is it in real life. Stab kits for London buses:

Diversity is strength. Or at least is good for sales of stab kits…
Isn’t it just pie in the sky stuff , the company has no money , there is no cable to aussie and no energy contract.
Yep sounds like a dud from day one, doubt it will ever be built, meanwhile Luxon does not a thing to save real jobs at the likes of Watties.
SAVE OUR GROWERS / FARMERS!
If the smelter closed, they could sell power to the AI at a profit!
Reading the tealeaves on this, the closure of Tiwai is now inevitable. So much for all the taxpayers money thrown at them to try and keep it.
Big companies break contracts every day. The bigger they are the more frequent they do it. All about who has the deepest pockets.
Wasn’t Tiwai uilt as a means to export excess electrical energy in the form of aluminum?
A data center would solve the problem of having to export excess power/aluminum.
He might not get that far. What happened to Epstein might just as easily happen to him
Absolutely believe that Epstein did not kill himself.
Like my wise old daddy used to say, “Never trust a black man with a briefcase”
Anyone with a briefcase is more apt nowadays
Obuma was as pure as wind driven snow. Yer right!
Interesting.

Alone or on leash? No good going to a beach full of eye candy and not being able to give the eyes a work out.
thought your happy place is balls deep in something?
Passing livestock?
your missus
you wish… i wish too. if you seen the name of my boat youd understand my struggles
Good on you Hunty. Glad to hear you’re enjoying it down there.
