A bit more connection of the holding hands of Goldsmiths’s liberalism.

From comments about the ongoing National Party pattern is deeply ingrained

# ….. Goldsmith does Internet censorship,
Collins Digital ID,
Willis does CBDCs,
Mitchell does surveillance
Bishop does the concentration camps/smart cities
We need to vote [……] in mass to kick these globalist agenda arses out of parliament! ….

# Needs to talk to all three parties to shut them down eh?
So what is stopping him?
Both NZ First and Act have come out strongly against the BSA decision so who is holding it up?

Who does this Government Coalition work for?
Many of the NZ public seemed to have been dumbed down, lost their principles, become dependant on government looting the Positive tax-payer.
A “disgrace” or to the universal global WEF-UN that aids & abets the various collective ‘elites’ ?

The interview by Heather of 1ZB is in the above X to “nitter” link also.

A bit more of the gold star neo liberal Goldsmith.

Goldsmith moved to working for the environment minister Simon Upton and, after the 1999 election, the new Labour minister of foreign affairs Phil Goff.

Seymour never spoke out about the vaccines. And he is all for euthanasia Which is being heavily abused in Canada in order to serve the high lucrative live organ trade.

Anyone who was awake during Covid already knew what would eventually happen if the euthanasia bill passed, as they had already tested that evil concept during ‘Covid’. There is no cure for you, (we’ve banned Ivermectin and 100 other cures) so you either die a horrible death, or get vaccinated assisted dying.

5% of all deaths in Canada are now from Medically assisted dying (MAID), but these never feature in public stats. And there is a massive trade in live organs.

Te problem is that, like Labour and the Greens, the Nats have a following of people who are tribal.
They have funders who are tribal and who get favours for money, just like NZ First. (Ratana ring any bells).

When ACt post things on FB, the tribes are there attacking ACT and Seymour from the moment the posts go up.
And despite what many think, FB is the communication tool they all use as it reaches the most people when they are in reading mode.
At least people can read the posts as they are published and ignore the shit kickers.
The alternative is to try and get a message across via MSM and Radio, and that is slanted the way the lefties want it and once written is repaeted ad nuaseem.

I always wondered how Goldsmith got there. Put there as a list MP by the Nats to try to mop up the Nat votes in Epsom.
Hopefully, some of those Epsom voters will ditch the weak prick.

The polling may well be right there.

  • Nissan New Zealand has become the latest distributor to launch a massively expanded warranty program.
  • The new Nissan More Ownership Program includes an industry-leading 10-year/300,000km warranty.
  • After sales and warranties are fast becoming the biggest battleground in the new car industry in the face of ever-increasing Chinese competition.

Nissan New Zealand has officially launched the Nissan More Ownership Program, a comprehensive initiative that introduces what it says is the country’s only 10-year/300,000-kilometre warranty.
Nissan says the program is designed to provide New Zealand motorists with “unprecedented peace of mind, cost certainty, and long-term vehicle value across the entire Nissan range.”

Nissan is into full financial restructuring to survive.
Can it return to profit?

Sept 2025 ….. Nissan’s financial struggles have compounded the urgency of its turnaround.
The automaker faces more than $5 billion in debt obligations due next year [2026] and has forecast a $1.2 billion operating loss for the April–September period. [2025] …..
https://www.cbtnews.com/nissan-accelerates-product-launches-as-it-battles-the-worst-financial-crisis-in-decades/

….. Nissan also said it expected to book a net loss of 650 billion yen for the financial year ending March, which would mark the second year it ended in the red following a 670.9 billion yen for the 2024 fiscal year. ……
https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/nissan-posts-44-drop-quarterly-operating-profit-2026-02-12/#:~:

So maybe their early investment may surprizingly work out even more now, but there is a lot of other desperate under cutting competition in that field.
Interesting times.

You couldn’t slide a cigarette paper between them. Both are crap & both require industrial level mindwashing before the victim can be converted. Like Xtianity, socialism is a road to power & riches for the few & the antithesis of freedom for the minds of the faithful/proletariat.

Both should be resisted at all cost.

I disagree. (Note: I am not a Christian). Christianity has had its teeth kicked in, and while there are still some obnoxious Christian cults around (like Gloriavale and the Jehovah’s Witnesses, etc.), they’re absolutely mild compared to the socialist (death) cults.

I have also concluded that, as a species, we either have religion or ideology. As if it’s a choice, I’d go with the one that has had its teeth kicked in. As such, I became a “cultural Christian”[1] long before it became a term and popularised by such luminaries as Richard Dawkins.

[1] As in, I’ll buy Hot Cross buns, Easter Eggs, etc., and eat them according to the rituals of society. I’ll also not try to get rid of these rituals.

nasska

Then you’ll be neither use nor ornament to your new Xtian overlords. To be a fully functional religious moron you must disbelieve your eyes & see what isn’t there. Nothing short of a trepanning along with full excision of your last brain cell will save your soul.

Enjoy your hot cross buns. You may have noticed that the flavour is in the bun rather than the cross which is decorative.

In the aftermath of the Wars of Religion (16 & 17th centuries), Christianity has never recovered its preeminence. As such, I am not concerned about “Xtian overlords”. I am more concerned with hostile religions and ideologies that have come in.

Marxism, in its attempt to gain religious supremacy in the West, has deployed Cultural Marxist tactics, and part of that has been to bring in another hostile religion, Islam.

If Western civilisation survives, we will be spending decades, possibly centuries, cleaning up the quagmire wrought by those two religions. How would you suggest, without an alternative, to give people meaning?

I wrote my thoughts on the topic here (I’ll try not to spam YSB too much):

The Crisis of Meaning: Why Ideologies Rush to Fill the Void Left by Religion – No Minister

nasska
Reply to  Colinxy

Then you would readily accept the truism (attributed to Seneca) that “religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false & by rulers as useful”.

“How would you suggest, without an alternative, to give people meaning?”

If belief in something that doesn’t exist gives them meaning then their level of retardation is so advanced it be better to confine them to asylums & ensure that they’re not given the opportunity to breed.

I disagree. I spend a lot of time in pleasant repartee with Nasska on matters theological. He thinks I’m nuts, of course I disagree, but I fully support his right to think what he thinks and the right to express it freely. As someone with a scientific background I have come to the realisatioon that I know nothing ( following Socrates). I can neither prove nor disprove the existence of a superior being, so I remain open to the possibility of existence. If there is one, I’d prefer the simple Christian version.

Based on this statement, nasska does not believe in what you think he does:

If belief in something that doesn’t exist gives them meaning then their level of retardation is so advanced it be better to confine them to asylums & ensure that they’re not given the opportunity to breed.

That’s incredibly dictatorial. It’s an attitude I recognised amongst the vocal (American) atheists; an incredible hatred towards religious people…even if they pretended to believe in freedom of/from religion, they’d let their masks slip occasionally.

Perhaps nasska was saying that in jest, but I’ve heard plenty of atheists say the equivalent thereof.

Curiously, many of those same atheists became religious zealots for Atheism+. Not the first atheist cult, but one born from New Atheism. And the defining feature of New Atheism is its antagonistic attitude towards religion.

FJA

Agree Colinxy. I hate to admit I used to be an ardent atheist to the point of ridiculing Christians. If I could go back and apologise now, I would.

Whatever floats peoples’ boat. For some, their Christian faith has made their lives rich and meaningful – sent them towards family and community and away from destructive behaviours. Why would I not notice that and be happy for them?

And sure, there are the religious nutters and arseholes; but there are plenty of atheist nutters and arseholes too.

Colinxy
Colinxy

“Amen” 😉

I considered myself an atheist for a time, but the more I listened to these prominent atheists, the more I realised I didn’t have enough hatred to be one.

Even Dawkins has admitted a grievous error, which is why he declared himself “Cultural Christian” several years ago. He was also a target of the cult he inadvertently helped create (Atheism+) for a lack of purity.

(As has John Cleese, by the look of it).

The thing is, Marxists like Gramsci acknowledged that religion protected capitalism from Marxism, which is why they’ve been trying to undermine it for decades. And the Marxist tactic deployed is rule-or-ruin. So, they’re either trying to take it over and wear it as a mask (the various Woke Churches) or crush it.

I can appreciate why nasska dislikes Christianity, but the outright hostility seems to play into the Marxist “ruin” strategy (I’m not accusing nasska of being a Marxist, but he might be termed a “useful idiot” for them.)

rightoverlabour
Reply to  Colinxy

I think a lot of the zeal by Atheists is they are shit scared they are wrong. If I am wrong and there is no God or afterlife, then I’ll never know. If they are wrong and some kind of judgement exists, they got a bigger problem.

Colinxy
Colinxy
Reply to  rightoverlabour

No, I don’t think that’s it. Of course, we can only go by what they say and do, but thus far, that doesn’t seem like a reasonable explanation.

Religious converts tend to be the most fanatical about their new religion. And while atheists generally claim to be irreligious, prominent atheists have long acknowledged that the “de-converted” are their strongest advocates in “preaching atheism” – Matt Delahunty, Seth behind the Thinking Atheist, etc.

nasska
Reply to  Colinxy

A few points:

1) To sustain a hatred of something takes incredible amounts of energy….energy I can better use elsewhere. Ergo I don’t hate religious nutters.

2) If I did hate something or someone the feeling wouldn’t be peculiar to religionists. Rather it would be directed at those who want to control my own certainly finite existence on this planet.

3) I was brought up & educated in the God saturated, authoritarian society of 50s & 60s NZ. For anyone with no discernible level of respect for needless authority that is sufficient cause to disparage any deity and/or his dogmatic, know-all followers.

4) Blogs are one dimensional. The brevity required in a readable blog comment invites the use of hyperbole to get a point across.

For those of us who prefer the direct approach to the mealy mouthed pap so favoured by diplomats, President Trump is a treasure beyond all measure. This week he was was fuming over the US’ European allies & the Iran war when he said:

#. “We didn’t need them, but I asked anyway … I call up France, Macron – whose wife treats him extremely badly… Still recovering from the right to the jaw.”

Macron who has obviously never heard that explaining is losing explained anyway & is quoted as saying “We are squabbling and, rather, joking with my wife.”

Yeah right. Trump 1 Macron 0

Pam Bondi is a Great American Patriot and a loyal friend, who faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year. Pam did a tremendous job overseeing a massive crackdown in Crime across our Country, with Murders plummeting to their lowest level since 1900. We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future, and our Deputy Attorney General, and a very talented and respected Legal Mind, Todd Blanche, will step in to serve as Acting Attorney General. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP
