It is really great having a CNN correspondent that again is able to take in the military understanding like of General Petraeus that won the ‘hearts & minds’ of the Afghanistans, & so good at replenshing the Taliban’s arsenal.
Retiring to achieve a directorship in the CIA, now retired.

Just loves to pontificate on the Ukraine, Gaza, Iran, like our Auntie Helen, & Big Sis. Ardern & again we are so privileged to receive such words & understanding to extend our humanity. 😂🤣😃

Are the unionists teachers?

……. The [Teacher’] Trade Unions’ essential objection to the curriculum changes is the removal of this statement:

‘A critical maths pedagogical approach uses maths to develop critical awareness about wider social, environmental, political, ideological, and economic issues.
Critical maths recognises the importance of understanding, interpreting, and addressing issues of power, social justice and equity in the community and the wider world.
Ākonga are encouraged to interrogate dominant discourses and assumptions, including that maths is benign, neutral, and culture-free.’
https://nitter.net/simonranderson/status/2051875084831469996

So it would seem that coming election will decide if the changes put in place about what the children will be taught, will become established & bedded in.

…. No organisation representing teachers or principals has spoken out in support of the government’s changes, but Stanford claimed most teachers backed her. ….
…… New Zealand Initiative researcher Michael Johnston said the opposition was noisy, but he was not sure it represented the majority of teachers and principals. …..
https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/education/594345/education-minister-erica-stanford-responds-to-criticism-of-curriculum-rewrite

The changes inside the New Zealand’s systemic education department has been ramping up for a number of decades.
They know what they are doing & what they intend.
Stuffing up basic English literacy, trading it out to maori language, numeracy making more complex, along with bringing in humanity issues.

All so other agendas are the issue, priming to make points for like Climate Change, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion DEI, Race, Genderization, Indigenous, He Puapua obligations, and what further activism needs to be done. etc., etc..

The school curriculum was altered to promote Nazi ideology and all young people were expected to join a Nazi youth organisation such as the Hitler Youth.
Hitler famously stated, When an opponent declares,:— ‘I will not come over to your side,’
I calmly say, ‘Your child belongs to us already. You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp.
In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.

Critical Mathematics is part of Critical Pedagogy. It isn’t critical thinking. It claims to have the “true” (“critical”) consciousness. It’s just Neo-Marxist bovine scatology.

Its entire project is to turn children into Marxists. It has no other purpose.

Hitler was right about a lot of things. However, he was also wrong on others. In terms of Military strategy, he was not that great, his Generals were good, but he interfered too much too often. Trying to work out why he hated so many so irrationally is hard to fathom. Unfortunately many of our present day wannabee dictators don’t realize how similar to Hitler they actually are

Also many good comments on this Trade deal & the effects on NZ

Really what did Luxsingh achieve like for example:—-
What was ever really stopping Indians buying wool & leather goods in the first place, as it was their Hindian country that placed the tarriffs on those goods in the first place.

Thanks Ryan Henderson for going through the deed of sale, exposing it summarizing detail.

Anyone know how to get in on these deals? ( I have no idea how this works, if someone could enlighten me please…. )

I do know it looks dodgy…

BREAKING: According to our analysis, ~$920 million worth of crude oil shorts were taken 70 minutes before an Axios report claimed the US and Iran were near a “14-point” deal to end the war.
At 3:40 AM ET today, nearly 10,000 contracts worth of crude oil shorts were taken without any major news.
This is equivalent to ~$920 million in notional value, an unusually large trade for 3:40 AM ET.
At 4:50 AM ET, just 70 minutes later, Axios reported that the US is “close” to a “memorandum of understanding” to end the Iran War.
By 7:00 AM ET, oil prices had fallen over -12% with these crude oil shorts gaining approximately +$125 million.
Minutes later, Iran launched the “Persian Gulf Strait Authority” and oil prices surged +8%.

Some years ago a flying saucer touched down in a park in Auckland. The alien got out & to his horror saw he had landed on one of the earthlings squashing it flat. Being a peaceful friendly alien, he decided to save the creature & put it back together but having never seen a human he did what he could with the bits he could salvage, then took off to return & try first contact some other time.

The next day a man walking his dog found a pair of human buttocks alive & talking through it’s sphincter. It said “blah blah blah India FTA bollocks”.

And that kids is how Sahib Luxon was created.

A Utube short showing the basis of the EU taking on Elon Musk.

Elon Musk says the EU should be abolished after €120m fine against X
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/fmhNOiqsHqA?feature=share
circa Dec. 2025 :

“Elon Musk called for the EU’s abolishment after X was fined almost $140M for breaching the EU’s Digital Services Act, calling the bloc a “bureaucratic monster.”

So Ed’s comment of FAFO above could be what Musk could set up & do that FAFO.
Revenge is best dished up when cold.
So far it all remains to be seen.

While others announced about headline news, but still have to wait a few more years yet, for Ursula Von de Leyen’s “shocking” resignation.

Talk about money pits. US NGOs are rolling in it.

https://t.me/thewhiterosenz/197707/346753

“India and Japan’s GDP each just over $4 trillion, Germany $5 trillion, about $13.5 trillion together. Guess what? The combined assets held by US NGOs equals $14.2 trillion of your tax money and that of your children and grandchildren and great-great-great-great-great grandchildren.

Curious
Reply to  Ross12

Grok says that the figure is approximately right but the post is mis-leading.

“Important Context (The Misleading Parts)

  • Not all “tax money”: The vast majority of these assets come from private donations, endowments (e.g., Harvard’s massive endowment), hospital revenues, university tuition, investment returns, and fees for services. Only a portion comes from government grants/contracts.
  • Includes major institutions: A huge chunk is held by:
  • Universities and colleges (especially Ivy League endowments)
  • Large hospitals and health systems
  • Private foundations (Gates, Ford, Rockefeller, etc.)
  • Religious organizations
  • These are not typical activist NGOs. The term “NGOs” in the post is being used very loosely — the Fed data covers the entire nonprofit sector.
  • The nonprofit sector has grown significantly (from ~$7–8 trillion a decade ago), driven by rising asset values, donations during strong markets, and healthcare/education inflation.

Bottom line:
The $14 trillion asset figure is real and the comparison to Japan + Germany + India GDP is roughly correct. However, the post dramatically overstates the “your tax money” angle for rhetorical effect. Most of the wealth is privately accumulated, not direct taxpayer funds (though nonprofits do receive significant government funding and tax advantages).
This is a classic example of a technically accurate statistic wrapped in sensational, misleading commentary.”

They are factoring into that lots of data centres, which may or may not be built.
Already, Amazon has backpedalled, and there is a reason for that. The new generation of chips is being made with glass, like fibre, and they don’t need the same energy nor do they generate the same heat.
Also, I am aware of a chip system that generates its own energy that is close to being set up.
Not too far away as I understand it.
