Always hated the taste of silverbeet. I was brought up to eat what was served to us. My dear old mum would alway threaten “eat it you’ll get more”. 😦

And cabbage. At school I was made to sit the whole dinner hour because I refused to eat the revolting, cold, green slop they served up as cabbage.

Also Broad Beans! I always disliked them and as a child as made to eat them ‘or else’ (even in their cooked but cold state), and under threat of severe physical punishment if I didn’t comply!!

Such was my dislike that sometimes the punishment was even worth the ‘crime’.

Although such events occurred many, many years ago, the effects certainly lingered and even now for some strange reason I still cannot stomach Broad Beans in any form – hot or cold, and certainly NEVER insisted that my own children ate them.

BREAKING update from POTUS on IRAN: “I am in the Oval Office at the White House where we just had a very good call with President Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, of The United Arab Emirates, Emir Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, and Minister Ali al-Thawadi, of Qatar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah, of Pakistan, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, of Türkiye, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, of Egypt, King Abdullah II, of Jordan, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, of Bahrain, concerning the Islamic Republic of Iran, and all things related to a Memorandum of Understanding pertaining to PEACE. An Agreement has been largely negotiated, subject to finalization between the United States of America, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the various other Countries, as listed. Separately, I had a call with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, of Israel, which, likewise, went very well. Final aspects and details of the Deal are currently being discussed, and will be announced shortly. In addition to many other elements of the Agreement, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

also the orange retard when talking about why he isnt attending his sons 2nd wedding… “hes a guy ive known a long time”

yup, mega intellect at play there. just yesterday some retard here was predicting big bombs falling on iran.
as i said the bomb threats are all TACO moves to enrich his dodgy mates and family.

if this deal goes through it just goes to show trump blinked and lost, he essentially just stopped a war he got conned into starting because it dosent involve any nuclear agreement and pretty much everything remains as it was just prior to the war except maybe with tolls.

plus its only a 60day ceasefire not actually a permanent peace deal. it buys trump time but nothing more and my money is on israel pushing or breaching the boundaries to make iran close the straight again so the jews can point and go “look, they breached the deal, bomb them!!!”
100% the jews are gunna keep the conflict going, they havent yet stolen enough land in lebanon and if theres no war netenyahu goes to prison… there will never be peace in the middle east until that piece of shit is dead or locked up

if the straight is open then why is trump still working on a deal to reopen it? hes desperate, thats why hes willing to sign a deal excluding nukes, its only a 60day ceasefire not an actual end to the war, its just long enough to scramble to build a buffer because american reserves are forecast to run dry in a few months and america along with the rest of the world will feel a true oil shock.

A well written letter, explaining the imposition of tikanga into the NZ judicial system.

…… There is no statutory or prerogative authority permitting courts to elevate tikanga to the status of law.

Accordingly, such judicial actions are ultra vires — beyond jurisdiction, beyond power, and beyond constitutional limits. ……

…… Judicial immunity protects individual judges from personal liability for decisions made in their judicial capacity.
However, this does not mean that ultra vires judicial conduct is without consequence. …….
https://breakingviewsnz.blogspot.com/2026/05/hugh-perrett-tikanga-is-not-law-is-not.html?m=1

So the elite Judges use their “immunity” to follow an agenda, to then lever precedence.
But it shows they follow a He Puapua agenda which in the long run should totally discredit themselves.

The UNDRIP agreement has been made binding by quietly following the Ardern-Peters, He Puapua agenda.
That has been set deep into the the NZ Law society & Judiciary system.

……… guidance for lawyers on the relevance of tikanga Māori and tikanga based legal developments in meeting their competence and client service obligations …..
…… require tikanga to be taught as a stand-alone compulsory subject within New Zealand Law Schools. …..
https://www.lawsociety.org.nz/assets/Professional-practice-docs/Practice-briefings/Practice-Briefing-tikanga-Maori-2025.pdf

These law schools are creating a “new-normal” but is it actually legal?
But will this CoGovenance Tri-Coalition do anything about this?
As the cement of “precedence” is now hardening to lock this deviousness into place.

All at different phases in pushing agendas, like transgenderism, Net Zero Carbon, Climate Change costs, white privileged colonialist, DEI (Diversity Equity Inclusion) & the target keeps “moving on”, as the issues is really, the revolution to gain more power, controls;- must continue! ! !

Judicial socialist radicals committing treason against established NZ sovereignty by replacing “one law for all” to an apartheid system must be held accountable.

Wayward ‘liberal’ judges or lawyers not working within the boundaries of NZ law need to be removed. Judgement of judicial behaviour by the Law Society only works if fellow sympathetic ‘liberals’ of this body are also removed.

Socialist radical politicians pushing replacing laws that may result in jeopardising NZ “one law for all” need to have that ability quashed.

It is all rotten to the core.

DylanHunt

…… There is no statutory or prerogative authority permitting courts to elevate tikanga to the status of law.

Given that before colonists arrived, “tikanga” included revenge, taking justified “action” for someone insulting one’s whanau, stealing, abduction, slavery, killing and beheading. Maori tikanga, was like the Wild West. Except the Wild West did not condone beheadings.

Tikanga justice included retribution for another tribe taking something of value from your tribe, even though you stole it from them 6 months earlier. The term “Possession is 9/10 of the law” ‘applied’ here in NZ. As far as Maori tribal law was concerned, what you possessed was yours, no matter if you traded for it, stole it, borrowed and kept it, it was yours. Stone age Klingons.

The writings of Frederick Maning, NZ’s first Maori land court judge is an eye opener for anyone. And it makes “Once Were Warriors” look like a school yard skirmish by comparison, in terms of injustice by civilised standards.

We may believe that DylanHunt
….. There is no statutory or prerogative authority permitting courts to elevate tikanga to the status of law.

But usurpers have conspired through the Supreme Court, deviously done by politicaly appointments.
So they are now well on a pathway to be a “Constitutional Court” as well as their other duties.

Then by astro-turfing through Law Societies, & then via academia, amplified by media for the general public as it flows into educational systems.

This is also to back-up the indoctrination from play-school, primary, & highschool, & even like the requirements in the various poly-techs for nurses, universities like for chemists etc..

So it is deep with in political parties, to abide with these divisive “constitutional” agendas, & the further obligations.

Sort of like every one “Believes in Free Speech” but very few will “Defend Free Speech”?

Very few will challenge this smart-arse devious agendas.

“Just what is the ACT party?”

They’re not too sure. Policy can sit anywhere on the scale from Libertarian to Statism depending on how the chicken entrails read & the leader’s schizophrenia medication.

Yet they are not alone. Both the National& Labour parties have existential crises. The Greens are psychotic, NZ First gain their inspiration from reef fish & the TPM are barking mad.

In truth all I need to ask before I cast my vote is ‘do I want fucking by the globalists, the socialists, or the Maori?’

I made the comment in the sense David Lange used the phrase “demented reef fish” to describe panicky sharemarket investors. The mercurial founder & sole proprietor of NZ First is always on the lookout for a cause to pin a policy to. A classic example was his backing for Pfizer’s depopulator during the Covid scam which somehow morphed into support for those who would not follow Mad Queen’s mandates.

I’m not particularly for or against Winston Peters but as a political tragic of long standing I’m still in awe of his ability to sense an uncommitted vote & create policy on the hoof to capture it regardless of previous positions he has held.

Ditto for his supporters/voters who follow him unquestioningly.

A statutory exception that became the default
Discharge without conviction: A remedy that has lost its limits – David Harvey
The discharge without conviction was conceived as an act of judicial restraint.
Where the lifelong consequences of a criminal record would impose punishment far exceeding the gravity of the offending, courts were given a mechanism to withhold conviction while still marking wrongdoing.
In its proper sphere – minor, victimless offending by otherwise law-abiding individuals – that justification remains coherent.
The problem is that the remedy no longer operates in that sphere.
Through structural design, expansive case law and increasingly elastic judicial reasoning, the discharge without conviction has travelled well beyond its original purpose.

In doing so, it has begun to undermine foundational principles of sentencing: proportionality, accountability and equal justice.

The Sentencing Act 2002, which provides for discharges without conviction, was introduced by the then Minister of Justice Phil Goff with the stated aim of toughening New Zealand’s approach to crime. We shall see how that worked out.

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/discharge-without-conviction-a-remedy-that-has-lost-its-limits-david-harvey/premium/MAGTBRTRBBAFDN2OQVAJJGAFIU/
.
The legal architecture of the discharge explains much of its expansion.

Section 106 of the Sentencing Act authorises the court to discharge an offender without conviction, while section 11 requires judges to consider discharge before entering any conviction.
What once might have been an exceptional pathway has instead become a mandatory gateway.
Defence counsel now pursue discharge as routinely in cases involving a guilty plea.

just more bullshit from randos on x pretending to have the inside gossip.

I know just like all the media interpretations where I have found major speculation errors.
Any way a random “US Official” to Axios which also speculates, & summarizes the concept into bullet points.

….. The deal would avoid an escalation of the war and decrease the pressure on the global oil supply.
However, it’s unclear whether it will lead to a lasting peace agreement that also addresses President Trump’s nuclear demands. …..

….. key principle in the agreement is “relief for performance.” ….

…. Iran gave the U.S. through the mediators verbal commitments about the scope of the concessions it’s willing to make on suspending enrichment and giving up the nuclear material. …..
https://archive.is/N2AEw#selection-403.0-403.11

Now just follow the oil futures market to figure if there is some cheating going on in the system?

More of an outsider speculation view.
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/us/iran-agrees-to-give-up-enriched-uranium-as-deal-with-donald-trump-largely-negotiated-report/articleshow/131287875.cms

Seems like the money or the bag.
The money or the uranium, based on performance or not.

While we wait to see if Iran even answers, and who has the ability to agree to the MOU?
