The same UN declaration that John Key & National signed saying “Oh don’t worry it’s only aspirational” was ruled in court into being LAW. Ani O’Brien wrote an article on this suggesting that by stopping Under 16’s having a smart phone it would remove the almost (as Australia have found) impossible task of removing internet content from that age group. They would still be able to have a “dumb” phone for actual talking and text.
She made the point, amongst others, that alcohol is banned by purchase on age limit. This would remove the need for over 16’s having to prove their age etc every time they went into an internet site.

Panos Patros is Acts upper Harbour candidate. As chair of a leftist IT group (Te Tira Hangarau) the Waikato University academic actively promoted incorporating mātauranga Māori (Marxist pseudo māori bullshit) and kaupapa Māori into software engineering and accreditation.
He described folklore and fables as “valid, evolving ways of knowing that add value, help serve people better in Aotearoa”, and should be legitimized through evidence-based research. He supervised a student’s project on Māori software requirements elicitation using kaupapa principles, like ‘Whakawhanua-tanga” says Patros.
He supports te reo names for groups, Māori STEM initiatives (Pūhoro Academy), and viewing these as complementary to “accepted” (not strictly “Western”) science, and believes “every organisation in Aotearoa should have a māori name”
Patros also proudly spoke of his Associate Professor Te Taka Keegan, who he works with to make up neo reo “he has been prolific creating many new words/concepts for computer science and software engineering – as a lot of these concepts didn’t exist in Māori” …

Been pondering on this dead brown skua issue and something doesn’t add up. The skua migrates from the artic to NZ around early November and returns March or April. But here we have a victim of bird flu dead on the beach mid July at least 2 months after it should have departed these shores. Now if it really did die of bird flu it must have been infected here otherwise it would have died much earlier. Even if bird flu did arrive with the Skuas as they are suggesting it must now be established in the local bird population somewhere. Tell me if I am wrong.
