Morning all, tonight at 6 pm they are having the meeting at the Marsden Yacht Club to discuss the local tribe trying to take over control of Bream Bay and most of Whangarei Harbour. I will be there to say my bit on behalf of several organisations and will report back on how it goes. From what I’ve heard an awful lot of people are going to show up tonight to protest against this idea, I suspect more than a few will be carrying pitch forks. It is also worth mentioning the Headhunters own land in Takahiwai and I would be surprised if those wankers don’t make an appearance. The Yacht club probably seats about 100 people which is nowhere near big enough so it could well be game on in the carpark.
Been a awful lot of trash riding large motorbikes around here of late. Not enough falling off. That solar farm they’re building has apparently employed 600 low I.Q drones most of which were on the dole, that has definitely lowered the whole tone of the area.
T, IWI are doing the same in Ruapehu but using Smoke and Mirrors. Even one of the Native Councilors is pushing this barrow and with a high Maori population on the Central Plateau, minimal pushback from Council, the Mayor and absolute silence from any Councilor or even to local News Media and Newspapers. It therefore would not surprise me if the IWI control of the region comes to fruition and I cannot see the Trojan Horse that is Chris Bishop or the useless Minister for Local Government, Simon Watts putting a stop to it.
I hope you are most vocal against the takeover of Bream Bay by the natives tonight, good luck.

[Winston Peters is no disrupter, like Trump, even Farage (achieved Brexit) or Rupert Lowe]
Comparing the politics in the UK., & some of the parallels
MMP brings about the compromises of what parties want to achieve.
More of considering NZFirst, Winston Peters.
Are they actually an anti-establishment party?
So not Thatcher right but more like Britain’s Social Democratic Party (SDP)
A quick summary of NZFirst policies.
Groceries – Supermarket;
A referendum of maori seats;
Citizens only voting;
*Future proofing NZ’s our Fuel Security;
Immigration issues, with various comparisons + rhetoric, relating to trade deals too.
Puberty blockers?, taking men as trans out of women sports? Digital ID? NZ nationalism? Furthering the covid inquiry?
——- – – – —- ———– —– – – – – – – –
*The price extracted from Winston Peters to achieve his waka-jumping legislation?
To a go along in voting for Ardern’s legislation in banning more on sea oil & gas exploration.
Fight our corner? Rhetoric, “look here sonny to journalists” all good fun in the gladiators arena of the media;—- but is he really a dedicated disruptor?
Would he go to the cross benches, to back legislation on a case by case basis?
Too much work?
Become a minister outside of cabinet?
Loss of baubles & income?????
Will Winston Peters ever produce the various legislation to go through all the many & various visas etc., that allow so many with a visa to vote in NZ elections, that crosses out NZ nationalism.???
Can Winston Peters truly bring up about the Indian immigration, when he was happy to go to Marrakesh in Morroco to sign the “UN Global Migration Pact”, which was getting countries to accept refugees on a Climate Change + economic basis, droughts, lack of water, lower & inadequate acquifiers etc.. which is happening in India.
Our choices are limited, within the establishment, & left wondering, can a leopard change its spots, will it be a re-fashioned savage tiger with stripes?
After all, they are both cats & will just purr to get on.
Are there more within NZFirst that will keep Winston Peters on course?
More than half of teachers believe AI is having a negative impact on students’ critical thinking and 54% say it is also harming creative thinking.
The concern is particularly pronounced in secondary schools, where 71% of teachers believe AI has negatively affected students’ critical thinking, compared with 41% of primary teachers.
Irony much, I suggest.
It’s standard behavoir of school teachers to suppress the kids’ native desire and ability to explore. Not all, but many.
Simply technology is stuffing up education. Kids can’t physically write with a pen, and often just use AI to present work. Some countries are going back to pen and paper…
Several countries are reversing or scaling back the use of digital technology in schools, led by Sweden, Denmark, and the Netherlands. These nations are moving away from screen-heavy classrooms to address falling reading scores, declining attention spans, and lower overall learning performance
Say the question was the origins/reasons for the start of W.W.II. The student puts that question to AI, gets the printout and copies most of it as his answer, changing a few little details to make it look like his own work. Will not probably have even bothered to read the full reply.
I think the school teachers that are suppressing this will be doing those kids a favour so yes I do believe that AI will have a negative impact.
It’s too late for that now. China has just released the fastest ai bot and made it free to everyone . The problem for ai is not the data needed anymore, but the supply of memory chips required to process all the data .
SINGAPORE, July 28 (Reuters) – China has begun mass producing domestically developed immersion deep-ultraviolet (DUV) lithography machines, a technology crucial to advanced chipmaking, a person familiar with the matter said, marking a key step forward in Beijing’s drive to reduce its reliance on foreign technologies.
Shanghai Aishengna Electronic Technology Group, a little-known Chinese state-owned company, is leading the production effort after incorporating teams from top Chinese lithography startups, the source said, declining to be named due to the sensitivity of the subject.
Well V2, these Teachers won’t have to worry about Teaching History and referring to Rare Books as a Source of Knowledge, because AI is buying them up and destroying them to no ones benefit.
The left have been destroying books for years.
Especially books by their own about the the left.

Correct.
And that’s what makes them dishonest and why no one trusts them.

I think it was Einstein who said something to the effect: when the information changes, then I can change my mind.

Evil, nasty, tiny elf. He is clearly a psychopath without conscience or empathy.

How refreshing it is to to have a member of Parliament, a minister no less, who actually is an expert in her field and really knows what she is talking about. If only there were more like Nicole McKee.
It was a weird measure slapped together in haste without much thought involved. I could legally drive my stock truck & trailer (which on a good day covered 10 miles on a gallon of diesel) home for lunch while my wife had to borrow her mother’s car to take the kids to the doctor because it was the “carless day” for our vehicle.

Installing solar panels so you can generate electricity when you don’t consume it so you can sell it back to the grid for 20% of what you are charged to consume it later has never made sense to me. Unless you can go “off grid”, stop paying exorbitant connection fees ($60/month locally) & store the energy on site for later use there’s no way that the outlay can be justified.
To do this requires a safe, reasonably priced battery & lithium based incendiary devices are neither economical nor safe. The sodium alternative, which would satisfy my requirements, has long been tomorrow’s technology except that tomorrow might be as close as next year.
If you can ignore the presenter’s suet pudding personality he well explains how the latest developments might make solar on the roof a sensible option.
My neighbour has installed a lithium-based incendiary device no more than three metres from two bedrooms of my house. I find it ironic that the council required the same house to have no windows on one side because of the supposed fire risk posed by an adjacent driveway, but are ok with the same house having a bomb next to mine.
I actually despise these solar power installing, EV-driving, arseholes.
you have multiple lithium based battery devices and power tools stored inside your home so get over it.
i wouldnt be plonking a high capacity solar battery or ev in my house tho, nor strapped to the outside wall unless it was enclosed in steel or brick but meh for a stoned whinging coot i think youve deserved it located near your bedroom 🙂
You have no understanding of batteries. The risk from a large one is considerably greater than that from the likes of power tools.
As for being a “stoned whinging coot”, fuck you, you mouthy cunt. I don’t do drugs and I actually consider that defamatory.. Whinging is subjective – given the example provided there is at least in my mind a double-standard. Coot. Hmm. Again subjective.
I consider them to be mostly harmless, self righteous cranks & so long as I’m not forced to break bread with them all’s well. However, the irony of councils & insurance companies limiting how much diesel I can store on my section while beaming approval upon lithium ion batteries is not lost on me.
I suspect that a daily dose of climate change Koolaid is required to suppress the cognitive dissonance the policies promote.
It’s high noon when a stranger rides into town. His ride is not a horse but an enormous bull, with horns that appear bloodstained. The stranger is a mountain of a man standing six foot eight inches tall, seven with hat on. He wore black leather from head to toe, with a pair of pistols on his belt that seemed comically large if not for the bullets the size of salt shakers on his belt obviously for the giant guns.
Townsfolk had never seen anything like this and quickly locked up stores and gathered loved ones to safety as there looked to be a whole lot of trouble coming.
The stranger hitches his bull to the saloon hitching post and walks behind his bull, raises the bull’s tail and sticks his finger in the bull’s arse and swirls it about some.
Townsfolk watch in horror when the stranger then removes his, now rather shit covered finger and proceeds to wipe his mouth from corner to corner with that finger. Then the stranger disappeared into the saloon through the swinging double doors.
Just then people spot Jerimiah, a 9 year old who don’t know none better follow the stranger through the doors.
Inside the saloon the stranger takes his place at the bar and orders, “Gimme a bottle of…” Interrupted by Jerimiah tugging at the stranger’s duster, he turns in a flash with one pistol nearly out of it’s holster when he sees the nine year old as the source of his annoyance.
“Mister, why did you put your finger in your bull’s butt then wipe your mouth with the finger, huh mister?”
Stranger, turning back towards the bar says, “Chapped lips kid.”
Confused Jerimiah asks, “That’s medicine for chapped lips?”
Looking down at the boy through one squinted eye, Stranger says “I don’t fucking know, but it keeps me from licking ’em.”

Greenies are upset in parliament about Winstone Peters saying nasty words in the house. Who cares it’s only the Greenies!
$3.6b Northland expressway deal signed in biggest-ever PPP
The Government has signed a $3.6 billion agreement to deliver the first section of the Northland Expressway, marking the largest public-private partnership in New Zealand’s history.
Early works on the Warkworth to Te Hana section are expected to begin next month, with the expressway expected to open in 2033.
Transport Minister Chris Bishop said the deal reached financial close today. Under the agreement, the Northway consortium will design, build, finance, maintain and operate the expressway.
“Northland has incredible potential and Warkworth to Te Hana is one of the most significant infrastructure investments this Government is making to support jobs, unlock economic growth, and provide a safer, more resilient connection for people and freight between Auckland and Northland,” Bishop said.
Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, in a statement, condemned Peters’ remarks as the latest in a “long track record of inappropriate attention-seeking comments” and encouraged people to vote for National.
Luxon’s statement claimed Peters’ comments were designed to “get the media and other politicians to talk about him instead of the issues Kiwis are facing”.
“To our Kiwi-Chinese community, National and I back you, and to every New Zealander who wants representatives focused on the issues that matter to you, rather than attention-seeking for cheap headlines, Party Vote National.”
MPs from Labour and the Green Party say Winston Peters deserves to be sacked as Foreign Affairs Minister after he made “racist” comments towards a Green MP.
During Peters’ general debate speech about the Covid pandemic in the House yesterday, Green MP Lawrence Xu-Nan heckled the New Zealand First leader by asking him if he was vaccinated.
Peters shot back, telling Xu-Nan to “go back to your own country”.
“That’s where they lie like a flatfish, but they don’t lie like that here, all right?” he said.
Former National Party leader Don Brash has delivered a brutal, uncompromising critique of Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, accusing him of being gutless, hopeless, and ineffective.
The hearing in the US with Fauci in the hot seat is interesting. Pleaded the 5th 111 times!!. Some are saying because of bis autopen pardon he is not entitled to plead the 5th amendment.
Just listened to one of the ladies from Promenthian Action saying the reason they have his diary is the idiot had it on Government servers and RFK jnr’s team found it.
RFK Jr. reveals the single most disturbing thing he discovered in Anthony Fauci’s diaries.
This is peak hypocrisy. No other way to put it.
KENNEDY: “One of the things that was new to me in his diary was his admission that he got a pulmonary infarction in July of 2021 after receiving the vaccine.”
“So he took the Moderna vaccine on TV… to show people it was safe.”
“And then he got one of the primary most expected adverse events, which was potentially deadly blood clots in his lung, myocardial infarction.”
“He kept that secret from the American public, and we only learned about it because of the diary.”
“He was getting the best medical treatment that is available to anybody in the world at Walter Reed and all these other centers. There were doctors fawning over him.”
“Meanwhile, he was telling other people to take this product and concealing the fact that he himself, after announcing this press conference to show it was safe, had actually gotten very, very sick from an injury that was highly expected and highly likely to be caused by the vaccine.”
The prosecution crown lawyers are trying to use a post where I likened Fauci to Angel of Death Mengele against me. I stand by those words. Why would he refuse to answer 111 questions? Millions of people might still be alive. First the disease. Then the ‘cure’.
how exactly? he stole medical data/records then his dumb arse misinterpretted, conflated and took it out of context in an attention seeking effort that was an epic flop.
pretty much nothing he claimed was proven to be true, only the extremely mental liz gunn would touch his story and even then she ran away pretty quick when he was found out to be a fraud and had bad data that couldnt back his claims.
Australia is spending $188 million chasing illegal tobacco while refusing to ask the obvious question.
If you tax a legal product so heavily that a thriving black market springs up, don’t act surprised when organised crime steps in to meet demand.
Now taxpayers are footing the bill for endless raids, police resources, court cases and storage of seized tobacco, all while illegal tobacconists keep popping up like mushrooms after rain.
At what point do we admit that if your policy creates a billion-dollar black market, maybe the policy deserves a second look?
Sometimes the simplest solution isn’t spending more on enforcement. It’s stopping the government from making the illegal option so much more attractive than the legal one. Just lower the price of cigarettes and tobacco….or lower the government’s taxes on the product..Or we can keep spending hundreds of millions playing whack-a-mole.
Hawaii’s Lt. Gov. Sylvia Luke just got hit with a 12-count indictment for bribery, conspiracy, and falsifying campaign reports. Prosecutors say that back in 2022, while she was still a powerful state lawmaker, a lobbyist handed her $10k in campaign checks at a steakhouse dinner and dangled more money in exchange for help locking down COVID testing funds. She’s one of five people charged in the case. Luke’s been on unpaid leave since April. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1849183346055222

As for being a “stoned whinging coot”, fuck you, you mouthy cunt. I don’t do drugs and I actually consider that defamatory.. Whinging is subjective – given the example provided there is at least in my mind a double-standard. Coot. Hmm. Again subjective.
Congratulations, you have been wound up by SB.
Try chilling out with a doobie.
I would happily have a drum of diesel in the same location over the battery. No comparison.
That was really interesting, but I think you were being generous to a fault about his personality. I’ve spoken to more interesting fence posts.
“Greenies are upset. . .”
Well I guess it worked then.

So Luxon and co think it’s more important to look after immigrants than Kiwi’s.
Why are we surprised?
He’s kicked the can down the road.

Is Christopher Luxon Gutless? Don Brash Delivers Brutal National Takedown
What do you say to a South Aucklander in a suit….
‘Will the defendant please stand.’
uh oh, i hope chloe had her meds before those poll results come out for central auckland.
A few things will be getting a licking at Chez Swarbrick tonight & one of them will be her cellphone battery. 🙂
Its a bloody joke.
Fauci….https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfIYeMfLx5U
Latest from Barry Young.
The prosecution crown lawyers are trying to use a post where I likened Fauci to Angel of Death Mengele against me.
I stand by those words.
Why would he refuse to answer 111 questions? Millions of people might still be alive.
First the disease. Then the ‘cure’.
to be fair trump plead the 5th 400 odd times during one of his interogations… both deserve to rot in a prison cell… so does nutter barry
Barry Young is a hero.
how exactly? he stole medical data/records then his dumb arse misinterpretted, conflated and took it out of context in an attention seeking effort that was an epic flop.
pretty much nothing he claimed was proven to be true, only the extremely mental liz gunn would touch his story and even then she ran away pretty quick when he was found out to be a fraud and had bad data that couldnt back his claims.
Just lower the price of cigarettes and tobacco….or lower the government’s taxes on the product..Or we can keep spending hundreds of millions playing whack-a-mole.
sounds like a familiar playbook.
