Did anyone know that the entire Wekaweka Valley and Waimamaku areas are to be treaty setttlement land for Te Raroa? This is as indicated in the FNDC plans, see screen shot below.. now, this means no one is going to be buying up here and Te Raroa have first right of refusal… I don’t recall being notified of this..instead I got a letter from FNDC asking for submissions on some minor alterations to the district plan… which is proposed at this stage… Now.. when did anyone from Council ask for submissions about my property now going to be worthless as again, no one will buy, the value plummets and then the only buyers get it for nothing… Anyone else out there who is not Te Raroa realise what’s happening here? I’ve attached it as a pdf so you can enlarge it better to see it…

Any thoughts? Go to pdp.fndc.govt.nz to see the overlays in the plan as prepared.. the “you will own nothing” plan is in action..now..locally, here…this Far North District Council has to be pulled in hard…no wonder all the properties are for sale around here and no wonder, no one is buying… we are in trouble here..
