  1. Budget 2021: Benefits to get ‘biggest lift in a generation’ – Finance Minister

New Zealanders on benefits are set to see more money in their pockets, with the Government saying it is “righting a wrong” by giving a weekly boost of up to $55 a week, restoring “dignity and hope” to some of those on the lowest incomes.

    • Exactly what you would expect from a bunch of student politicians who have never worked for a living and would have no idea how to run a business. Just the doubling of sick leave which has been eclipsed by the budget will be a real kicker.

  2. Judith Collins replies to Robbo’s budget

Judith Collins: Government delivered ‘Budget for benefits, not for jobs’

She said Budget day was the time “hard-working” Kiwis looked to the Government for hope for growth, for peace of mind their tax dollars were being spent wisely, and for opportunities to help them provide “for their own families”.

  3. Wifes bene bludger mate will be stoked, currently she struggles to feed her kids for an entire week… an extra 55 bux will mean she can now afford kfc or maccas every day.

I shit you not, this fucking slut buys fast food at least 5 days per week just spat out her 3rd kid late last year… 1month before her youngest was due to turn 5 and she was about to get enough spare time for part thime job.
Im guessing mid-late 2025 another sprog to yet another different father will inconvienence her and impeed her ability to get employment.

The same slut also goes to winz appointments wearing $500 worth of fancy clothes along with her $300 pair of shoes, how the fuck no one questions it is beyond me… her vagina makes her alot of money in multiple different ways, cash income is tax free and it also creates her an income stream of taxpayer money when a mistake pops out.
The worlds fucked, NZ is even more fucked.

  4. A racist budget.
Where else in the world would one see policy after policy announced that is aimed at a particular race.

If an MP had called out ‘ racist’ as the budget was being delivered, they would have been thrown out and yet that is what it was.

The same day someone gets taken to court for hate speech because they asked if someone was born in New Zealand.

    Extraordinary times.

  5. If the clown car believe throwing more money will end child poverty I have a shiny new bridge to sell them.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2021/05/budget-2021-benefit-bump-hailed-as-wonderful-but-scepticism-remains-over-ending-child-poverty.html

Beneficiaries are the big winners in Budget 2021 with $3.3 billion heading their way, affecting some 109,000 families.

And it’s coming soon. There will be $20 more a week for all benefits from July 1. By April next year, all benefits will be lifted by between $32 and $55, and there will be even more if you’ve got kids.

“Well it will certainly make a significant contribution to reducing it,” Robertson said on Thursday. “Up to 33,000 children will be lifted out of child poverty.”
