The nearest Obama got to North Korea was viewing it through a pair of binoculars while behind some bulletproof Plexiglas at the demilitarized zone.
Trump on the other hand, strode alone inside the North Korean border to meet that country’s leader. Talk about courage.
Kim Jong Un must realize he can’t perpetuate the lie that he runs the best country in the world. He must eventually open it up to the outside world to make real prosperity possible. At the very least he needs to adopt the Chinese approach that allows a bit of capitalism and the freedom that would allow his people to prosper. Longer term, there may even be a Korean unification. President Trump can help pave the way for this to happen.
None of this was possible with previous presidents, but Trump is at least bringing some hope to the situation. Take away Obama’s Peace Prize and give it to Trump.

If N Korea actually comes to their senses, their people would live a life they could only dream of. Capitalism will flood the place, and Trump would have accomplished the unthinkable.
That would require the Kim family of wanting to give up even a smidgen of power.
Yeah but were would Cindy and the drunken dwarf go when they are eventually given the arse here?
Comrades need to find like minded comrades to bludge off. The drunken dwarf did say that capitalism is fucked, so where else can they go?
The UN? The biggest bloat of Leftards anywhere in the world (well, maybe the EU might give them a run for
theirour money). The UN: The establishment that proves there is such a thing as a free lunch.
We need Trump to visit here then? The Nats should invite him.
’tis a real lesson in life.
The black fellow, with UN backing, tried to buy North Korea with US taxpayers’ money, all to no avail.
Trump showed Kim the stick then offered the carrot.
Worked perfectly and if Trump get’s his second term I suspect both North Korea and Iran will have been deleted from the list of international bad guys.
I was rewatching the clip of Trump walking with Kim towards the road on the North. How the hell was his security detail coping? It’s not like they could all go with him. Evidently, Clinton couldn’t go on some jetboat down south in NZ as they couldn’t put snipers on all the hilltops. That must have been a security nightmare!
Must have had a warning about all us alt-right nutters wanting to use him as target practice.
I loved it in George Bushs photo, were he forgot to take the lense cap off!
Bit of a master stroke to make an impromptu visit at short notice then even stepping over a line only other Presidents have viewed from a distance . It speaks volumes about the relationship they have established much to the angst of the Democrats . Still some way to go but the first step of any journey is the hardest especially where others have feared to tread. Just another illustration of Donald Trumps attitude of “whatever it takes.”
If Trump brings NK in from the cold, then he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize more than just about any recipient I can think of in living memory. But would they swallow the bitter pill required to award it to him?
Especially if ‘our’ Jacinda is also nominated.
