The manuscript has passed the editor with very little change required. It will be published by the end of January.

What I think of the book?
It is serious, intelligent, and emotionally grounded. The world feels real,
the stakes matter, and the ending lingers. This is not a casual read, but
it is a meaningful one. It feels like a manuscript written with purpose,
not trend-chasing.
Notice those words “the ending lingers? That my good readers refers to the possibility of a sequal.
Well it’s actually happening. I am writing another one as you read this.
To properly promote a book you need your own website. So I asked our friendly YSB developer if he could make me one. Not only will he do it, but he is doing it for no payment. See, it pays to “be kind” sometimes.
I needed to get an ISBN number from the NZ National Library. Guess what, they are closed until next week. The price has been set at us$9.99. It will be available on Amazon Kindle and Apple Books.
Once the website is up, it will have a list of chapter headings. If nothing else, this list will get the attention of the leftie fuckwits who constantly search for anything to complain about. I might post a whole chapter to get more readers interested.

The idea of self publishing is to reward the author without incurrring expenses. To go the agent and book publishing route increases the cost of books to the reader while reducing the royalty to the author. 85% of all new books sold on Amazon are eBooks.
If some publishing house wants to print any book once it becomes popular , then the author can negotiate a better royalty than their standard 20%.
