It’s great to be virtuous and think you are saving the planet. This report debunks that myth.
I bought an EV 11 years ago and have been very happy to not burn petrol. It would be educational to see a similarly produced video showing the damaging effects of petrol production.
We also put a 5.3Kw solar array on our roof 7 years ago. Its manufacture would have created pollution but I expect that over its 15 year lifetime that would be more than offset by burning Indonesian coal to produce the same amount of electrical power.
I am virtuous
BUT
not so arrogant I think I can save a planet
that has been here for 4.5 billion years,
survived ….
ice ages,
greening then desertification
polar shifts
radiation blurts
earthquakes
volcanos
floods
drought
mass extinction events
evolution
natural erosion
and wandering continents
sheilas with blue hair, or green hair, or a combination of both
But I guess it is being so virtuous that gives me humility !!!
that others dont have
Saving the planet !!
with toxic cars
sod off
This isn’t just about EVs; it’s about globalism in general. Western nations that have regard to workers’ conditions, environmental protections and animal welfare cannot meaningfully compete against those who don’t.
Globalism is anti-human.
Ill have to come back and watch that vid when ive got more data, sounds interesting.
Even with out watching it, the only ev’s ill own are rc cars, must be time to buy another efv8 (environmentally freindly v8) so I can do my part in converting liquid dinosaur into plant food
