Greta the hysterical climate teen has filed a formal complaint with the U.N. over climate change

Hysterical climate teen Greta Thunberg has teamed up with 15 other child climate “activists,” including fellow climate alarmist Alexandria Villaseñor, to file a formal complaint with the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child concerning what they claim are violations of their “rights” caused by climate change.

These children who filed the complaint, some of whom are as young as eight, are demanding that the U.N. issue a mandate requiring all members states to “take action” in order to protect children like themselves from experiencing the “devastating” impacts of climate change.

Filed through the Third Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child – because eight-year-olds are well-versed in taking the proper steps, didn’t you know? – the complaint represents a direct appeal to the U.N. to basically come up with a remedy against nations that have ratified this protocol, but that are in violation of it.

“Change needs to happen now if we are to avoid the worst consequences,” declared Greta the hysterical climate teen, appearing for one of her many prepared press conferences. “The climate crisis is not just the weather. It means also, lack of food and lack of water, places that are unlivable and refugees because of it. It is scary.”

With George Soros at the helm, anything is possible

There are quite literally millions of deranged leftists out there who believe every single word that comes out of Greta’s mouth about climate change. They not only believe this tripe, but they’re actually so gullible that they believe Greta somehow came up with this elaborate narrative all on her own.

The deep state is barely even trying to hide the fact that Greta’s words are completely scripted. She has handlers who follow her around everywhere she goes, making sure that every jot and tittle of what she says fits the script – and it’s completely obvious to anyone who’s actually paying attention.

As usual, George Soros is behind a lot of this, along with Bill and Melinda Gates and Bono, whose ONE Foundation is funding these climate “activists” as they roam the globe preaching their Gospel of Global Warming to anyone dumb enough to actually listen to them. Because of this, teenagers everywhere are not only being stirred into a fury of fear and paranoia, but they’re also being led to believe that they, too, possess the power and the right to just file a complaint with the U.N any time they’re unhappy with something.

What many of them will quickly realize, especially if they don’t accept and parrot the official climate narrative, is that these global platforms are reserved for the “chosen” like Greta. Details will continue to emerge on this front, but Greta is, in many ways, a child actor who was hand-selected in much the same way as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC).

It’s special treatment for special people, in other words – and if you’re not part of the “club,” then you’ll never actually have a voice on the matter. But Greta does, and so does David Hogg, and so do many other children whom the leftists keep trotting out to spread their doctrines in the hopes that nobody will criticize the ones spreading these doctrines because they’re children!

Discussing Saint Greta Muriel Newman writes:

“She’s right, of course – she should be back in school, as should all of the other young people that she has incited to strike for climate action. In particular, they should be learning science so they can better understand how they are being manipulated by agenda-driven extremists, who are using global warming scaremongering as a ruse to undermine economic freedom and expand government control. ”

  2. Heard some media coverage of yesterday’s organised action. Left with an uneasy feeling that there are some unpleasant racial divisions also being promoted in this campaign. This old pale skinned bloke does not appreciate some of the now extreme negativity being publicly projected against the generation I am part of. I am not responsible, nor do I accept any responsibility, for the state of other parts of the world.

I am not part of overpopulation or environmental destruction on the scale being complained of. I note which countries do contribute to these issues; it is not New Zealand. We are doing OK in my observation. I heard Professor James Renwick on global responsibility and other matters earlier in the week and was not convinced. He is advises and is paid by the government and that reality may account for views he expressed.

Our future should not be stifled or impoverished by a Zero Carbon bill that arises from a Green Party component of a coalition agreement.

This country does not need to be impoverished either to meet the desires of youth fired up by international zealots with agendas to destroy. Wisdom does come with age. Yep, we are not all perfect and I admit to being slow sometimes. This country is more than playing a positive part now environmentally in my observation.

I do not share the apparent current enthusiasm for unelected youth to take over running the place or shouting demands. They need first to better understand how good this country actually is; how fortunate they are to be in this country and how that came to be.

And I do not share the PM’s enthusiasm for globalism. I wish this country to remain proudly independent making it’s own laws. I do not subscribe to becoming a serf like global citizen subject to the dictates of the UN. Ms Ardern is not representing me when presenting those views.

    • Globalism and trade means a lot more diesel burning ships moving around to facilitate this.
Occasionally these ships hit reefs like the Rena did and spill their guts.

Ardern is too much of a dumbass cardboard cut-out to know this.
SLG reads from her Cue cards without any real thought.

    • Here’s the content of the letter in case anyone is interested:

      Your Excellencies,

      There is no climate emergency

A global network of more than 500 knowledgeable and experienced scientists and professionals in climate and related fields have the honor to address to Your Excellencies the attached European Climate Declaration, for which the signatories to this letter are the national ambassadors.

The general-circulation models of climate on which international policy is at present founded are unfit for their purpose. Therefore, it is cruel as well as imprudent to advocate the squandering of trillions on the basis of results from such immature models. Current climate policies pointlessly, grievously undermine the economic system, putting lives at risk in countries denied access to affordable, continuous electrical power.

We urge you to follow a climate policy based on sound science, realistic economics and genuine concern for those harmed by costly but unnecessary attempts at mitigation.

We ask you to place the Declaration on the agenda of your imminent New York session.

We also invite you to organize with us a constructive high-level meeting between world-class scientists on both sides of the climate debate early in 2020. The meeting will give effect to the sound and ancient principle no less of sound science than of natural justice that both sides should be fully and fairly heard. Audiatur et altera pars!

Please let us know your thoughts about such a joint meeting.

      There is no climate emergency

A global network of 500 scientists and professionals has prepared this urgent message. Climate science should be less political, while climate polities should be more scientific. Scientists should openly address the uncertainties and exaggerations in their predictions of global warming, while politicians should dispassionately count the real benefits as well as the imagined costs of adaptation to global warming, and the real costs as well as the imagined benefits of mitigation.

Natural as well as anthropogenic factors cause warming

The geological archive reveals that Earth’s climate has varied as long as the planet has existed, with natural cold and warm phases. The Little Ice Age ended as recently as 1850. Therefore, it is no surprise that we now are experiencing a period of warming. Only very few peer-reviewed papers even go so far as to say that recent warming is chiefly anthropogenic.

Warming is far slower than predicted

The world has warmed at less than half the originally-predicted rate, and at less than half the rate to be expected on the basis of net anthropogenic forcing and radiative imbalance. It tells us that we are far from understanding climate change.

Climate policy relies on inadequate models

Climate models have many shortcomings and are not remotely plausible as policy tools. Moreover, they most likely exaggerate the effect of greenhouse gases such as CO2. In addition, they ignore the fact that enriching the atmosphere with CO2 is beneficial.

CO2 is plant food, the basis of all life on Earth

CO2 is not a pollutant. It is essential to all life on Earth. Photosynthesis is a blessing. More CO2 is beneficial for nature, greening the Earth: additional CO2 in the air has promoted growth in global plant biomass. It is also good for agriculture, increasing the yields of crop worldwide.

Global warming has not increased natural disasters

There is no statistical evidence that global warming is intensifying hurricanes, floods, droughts and suchlike natural disasters, or making them more frequent. However, CO2-mitigation measures are as damaging as they are costly. For instance, wind turbines kill birds and bats, and palm-oil plantations destroy the biodiversity of the rainforests.

Policy must respect scientific and economic realities

There is no climate emergency. Therefore, there is no cause for panic and alarm. We strongly oppose the harmful and unrealistic net-zero CO2 policy proposed for 2050. If better approaches emerge, we will have ample time to reflect and adapt. The aim of international policy should be to provide reliable and affordable energy at all times, and throughout the world.

Our advice to political leaders is that science should strive for a significantly better understanding of the climate system, while politics should focus on minimizing potential climate damage by prioritizing adaptation strategies based on proven and affordable technologies.

      • Good luck to Terry Dunleavy of New Zealand. His name is on a letter that counters the narrative Jacinda Ardern, the Greens and other moonbats want to push. He’s not going to have much of a future in NZ, I suspect as they’ll be coming for him.

  4. Judging by the size of the worthless protests, a pretty big chunk of the population are IDIOTS. The realities of freedom, democracy, and our energy needs trumps ideology every time. These punks will wake the f*ck up one day. In the meantime, excuse me while I increase my carbon footprint to overdrive…

  5. What we need are an organised political party or group prepared to stand up & expose the climate crap for what it is……a rebranded world communist movement.

Who have we got? How about the Vatican Party?

But they’re too busy opposing assisted suicide & making sure that we die suffering to appease their fucking god!

    • All we need to do is ignore them. Fighting them gives them what they want most – attention.

For example, turn off the media spotlight and that vile child will just be a retarded and angry hateful brat disliked by everyone, crying out alone with impotent rage to a world that doesn’t care.

      • ……”All we need to do is ignore them”……

Hard to fault your argument but the globalists have chosen their figurehead well.

Only the certainty that the puppetmasters will step up the hyperbole one notch too far & the inevitability that there will be a sexual scandal involving kids still to be revealed gives me hope.
