Gun Buy Back Not Working?

Dear SSANZ members,

The following e-mail and attached letter is being forwarded to all COLFO member Associations, and we share it with you since many of you are members of local clubs who may wish to take advantage of this less public opportunity of surrendering now prohibited firearms.  SSANZ does not have local clubs to organize such events under our banner.

Good afternoon

Please find attached a letter offering your clubs and organisations the opportunity to hold a firearms collection event specifically for your members.

We remain committed to partnering with the firearms community as we work through the recent law changes and we hope that this may be another way we can make the process a little easier for your members.

The events would be planned and run following a conversation between your club and the police District Firearms lead.  Please let us know (via this email address) if you would like to look at this option and we will put you in touch with the right people.

Kind regards

Firearms Partnerships

Weapons of War (attached)

This was sent to our beloved leader today  in her capacity as Minister of Art, Culture and Heritage to remind her of the desecration she is responsible for.

Where do your prohibited guns end up?  These kids know the answer, but those responsible for this production are only peddling government propaganda .

  1. I don’t do Facebook but a correspondent tells me that discussion on the Gun Control NZ page is about what to push for next with handguns firmly in their sights. Perhaps some of you who do have Facebook accounts could take a look and report back?

  2. It was reported this morning on RNZ that the police have had to do a rethink on what are illegal guns and parts. It seems the police were unaware that the interchangeable components of AR11 and AR15s were also made illegal by Jacinda’s gun law and they should have been collecting them and compensating owners.

    Ooooooppppps!

The upshot is, they’ve gone to KPMG to ask about compensation values for these parts. Sorry, but what do a bunch of accountants and business consultants know about guns anymore than a bunch of woman, urban, commie MPs!

    • Considering that the lower receiver (the newly added “illegal” parts) is the serial numbered part of an AR15 it strikes me as beyond incompetent that the police didn’t point out that the lower receiver is what counts as the firearm right at the start. Just who are these idiots driving this and presumably “advising” the even more ignorant government ministers?
