      • Shouldn’t Maori have a urupa to be buried in? Returning to their turangawaewae? If one of those was desecrated, there is always hell to pay.

    • Private Property so despite the kleft wokies trying to take away property rights owners or on this case probably tenants still own the right to say who is allowed on their premises.
Well sometimes because that absolute right is being eroded.

    • Yep, for many its offensive and those with mono or tattoos on their faces should have thought of that before having them applied. And by the way where is this country called Aoteoroa? I did think we were still called New Zealand? Pardon me if I am wrong.

      • As I’ve said before, the people (things) that do those full facial tattoos should be charged, banned etc. It consigns the receiver to a life of crime.

        • But… diversidy people!
Facial virtue signalling so everyone is supposed to see it as a cultural taonga. A foolish tokenism when you are then expecting to be taken seriously by a society and employers who associate facial tattoos with gang members and criminals.

    • Im sure most bouncers in Aussie have probably only seen these types of tatts on gang members why would they risk it + the door sign reads no facial tattoos allowed ! having special person status in NZ doesn’t mean you have any in Australia and this whinging is just another reasons for the ockers to mock us as if Maori claiming land over there wasn’t bad enough and not to mention Arderns constant snipes i often wonder why they bother with this so-called special relationship we are meant to have it sure seems one sided to me

  1. Labour two biggest liars front and spin the bullshit of Kiwibuild, how can you breath life into a corpse well Jacinda is obviously getting carried away with her power thinking all she has to do is wave her magic wand and it will burst back to life.
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2019/09/we-are-not-going-to-stop-our-ambition-jacinda-ardern-still-confident-in-kiwibuild.html
Jacinda’s world of phantasy is catching up with her very quickly, with finding out a turd will always be a turd no mater how you polish it Kiwibuild is dead.

    • The shame is that the Twit Twyford only got the sideways shift, not to the backbenches!
But then that would be admitting that kiwibuild is a flop!
But she wants Woody to rescue it. But she’s only a seat warmer!

      • If Wood is trying to revive/prop up the corpse that is Kiwifail, does that mean that post Christmas there will another cabinet reshuffle and Wood will take over Transport? Because Twitford and JAG have been spectacular failures at Transport too?

On second thoughts leave Wood were she is, having someone not knowing anything and doing nothing is better than getting an idiot who thinks she has to do something!

      • Why do you call the Taranaki thing a fiasco.
A fiasco is a plan that failed.
Labour’s plan has succeeded ( in their view)
They waved their wand and a whole industry disappears!

        ideology
        noun
the party has to jettison outdated ideology: beliefs, ideas, ideals, principles, doctrine, creed, credo, teaching, dogma, theory, thesis, tenets, canon(s); conviction(s), persuasion, opinions, position, ethics, morals.

  2. When female leaders fail – it’s men’s fault

You have to hand it to feminist academics, they can perform the most amazing mental gymnastics in their attempts to prevent facts from intruding on what their feelings tell them is right.

We now have the concept of the Glass Cliff! The Glass Cliff has been invented to explain why so many female leaders are failing around the world.

The rational mind would say, there’s no need to invent a new social construct to explain this entirely predictable world wide failure – it’s simply that “Diversity is the new stupidity” (ie it’s fucking bonkers to appoint someone to the most challenging of roles merely because they have a vagina).

However, apparently the tried and trust concept of parsimony has no place in feminist academia. Instead, they reach for the old hackneyed cliche to explain the worldwide failure of female leaders. That’s right – women leaders fail because of … (wait for it!) Men.

The Glass Cliff happens when an organisation, country, political party, company is so irredeemably fucked up that the male patriarchy despair and finally appoint a women to clear up the fuck-up created by men. But of course – men – having fucked up things so incredibly badly have made such an appalling cluster fuck that even a woman can’t fix things up. Ergo women leaders fail!

All of which I find incredibly illuminating. I thought that the reason Merkel fucked up Europe and Germany is that she:
    – created an impossible demographic situation by importing millions of dead-weight sub-humans from 3rd world shitholes that were going to create catastrophic social problems across Europe as well as over-burden social welfare systems beyond the state where they can assist citizens, let alone immigrants
    – sacrificed Germany economic productivity on the bonfire of Green energy in the vain hope of saving the planet from a fictional catastrophe, and
    – overstressed the Deutsche Mark by using it like Hitler used panzer tanks in an idiotic attempt to turn the EU into a 4th Reich.

But no, apparently it was all the fault of men!

We’re living in the ruins of a once great civilisation.

  3. It does not mater what you think about the aussies at sport or what Steve Smith did in South Africa, he was banned and has come back better than before and you have to take your hat off to him.The poms have thrown every thing at him in this Ashes Series even to the extent of injuring him with a quick bouncer that inflicted concussion that kept him out of the last test. Last night he went on to score a double hundred and give his side a even better chance to retain the ashes, some might not agree with me but Cricketis better with Steve Smith than without him as his record is showing so I hope he helps retain the ashes and shuts up the whinging Poms.

  4. Winston goes on a visit to Israel. While he is on a tour of Jerusalem he suffers a heart attack and dies.
The undertaker tells the New Zealand diplomats accompanying him, ‘You can have him shipped home for $50,000, or you can bury him here, in the Holy Land for just $100.”
The NZ diplomats go into a corner to discuss for a few minutes. They return with their answer to the undertaker and tell him they want Winston shipped home.
The undertaker is puzzled and asks, “Why would you spend $50,000 to ship him home, when it would be wonderful to be buried here and you would spend only $100?”
The NZ diplomats reply, “Long ago a man died here, was buried here, and three days later he rose from the dead. We just can’t take the risk.”

    • It’s a bit of a worry that the police seem to have taken it upon themselves to make up laws when, in a democracy, that is supposed to be the job of Parliament. I can see that this is a case of covering for the incompetence of government who were warned that rushing this law would cause problems but it still stinks to high heaven.

      0

      0

      • Is the police both conjuring up these new laws (seemingly on the fly) and then enforcing said laws they have made them selves bordering on being a coup? Its actually sickening how the firearms situation has flown in the face of democracy. A lot of people simply don’t care as it doesn’t directly affect them. But its a slippery slope once we start giving up freedoms willy nilly..

  5. Is the Mad Queens lightbulb and showerhead moment come?
How can you introduce this new clean water/dirty dairying while leting towns and cities carry on polluting more than farming?
Even Auckland bans areas from fishing and swiming because they are dumping shit into the ocean!
Then you have all the rual towns, inland cities like Hamilton and Palmerston miles from the ocean dumping shit into the rivers. Everybody does it along with stormwater!
How can you enforce rules on one sector of the community only?
The luvies want these new laws to cost only a selected few and not have to pay for it them selves as to clean up the towns and cities isgoing to cost the ratepayer/voter plenty! Also drive up tenants rent again!

They are now deemed illegal and must be handed in. Problem is the cops have had to ask for values for such parts. And who do they ask…. KPM fuckin…..G – a firm of bloody accountants and consultants. Is it any wonder this country is screwed up?

    • With Labour it’s all about breaking the economy and destroying capitalism.

When socialist Cindy was installed as our puppet dictator (courtesy of MMP) she started off by saying that “Capitalism has failed”. Her every move has been to bring truth to that lie.

Socialism is all about subverting democracy to create a Marxist totalitarian state. The problem is capitalism, it’s so effective at turning dependent socialist working voters into tory voting middle classes – that socialism needs to keep on generating new supporters to replace the dependents that have benefitted from capitalism. In the current setting they have many tools to achieve this thanks to globalism:
      a) import mass poverty from the 3rd world under the guise of “showing compassion to refugees”
      b) wealth transfer to China and India destroying domestic industries – under the guise of “saving the planet”
      c) creating massive social discord to interfere with civil society and thus destroy productivity – in the guise of “tolerance and diversity” through intersectional identity politics (ie divide and conquer)

Socialist Cindy is (well her puppetmasters are) just following the playbook and doing her (their) best to pull all the above levers before her three years holding the talking.

Over the next 12 months as electoral ejection looks more certain, look for greater and greater attacks on our economic stability (a la final year of the Clark administration in 2008).

  8. More from the land of you couldn’t possibly make this sh*t up.

There is a measles outbreak in South Auckland. So govt pressure etc, public health officials tell doctors to immunize. One week on local doctors are reporting they are running out of vaccine and supplies don’t know when they will have stock. Did nobody think about planning to have enough vaccine stock?

    0

    0

      • Good point. However, I don’t know if I lived in a parallel/sheltered world. But I don’t remember growing up in a New Zealand where people didn’t think to check whether they had enough vaccine, if they set up a programme encouraging people to be vaccinated!

        0

        0

    • Are they using a single strain measles vaccine if such a thing still exists or the more controversial MMR vaccine which was the reason so many refused to have their kids vaccinated if I recall correctly?

      0

      0

    • The public obviously haven’t got the message with five skiing instructors in Queenstown having come down with measles. These adults that have measles now should never have been allowed to do the instructors job with being able to prove they had been vaccinated. The failures keep happening in David Clark’s watch.

    • Well certainly not controlling the cost of living. Times are tougher than ever under the COL. Cindy promised to make life easier. Seems the COL policies are having the opposite effect. Increasing costs on farmers who produce our food is not going to make this any better. Food prices will increase to cover those those extra costs. Increased diesel prices on our trucking firms is another huge expense that is passed on. The COL don’t appear to understand their decisions have ramifications.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/travel/2019/09/whenuapai-residents-blast-air-new-zealand-s-suggestion-for-second-airport.html

“Outgoing Air NZ chief executive Christopher Luxon on Thursday suggested that could change in the future. Air New Zealand is very interested in the viability of Whenuapai as a second Auckland region airport hub as part of our growth strategy.”

“[Residents] are basically saying this has got to be a crazy idea. Look at the housing intensity here, traffic would be horrendous. How could anybody possibly suggest it?”

  18. It’s useful to retrace what changed between the Monday defence and the Wednesday guilty plea

    Monday defence

    Complainant 1:

[Defence lawyer Emma Priest] said the first charge, an accusation of squeezing a man’s genitals, was the result of the complainant wanting to be “part of the drama” created by other accusations.

    Complainant 2:

The allegations relating to the second complainant, Priest said, simply didn’t happen. She said her client “did something completely different which was meant as a joke”.

    Complainant 3:

Priest said the accused had a complete defence to the fourth charge, an allegation of unwanted kissing. “She wanted it,” Priest said. “There is no indecent assault here.”

    Complainant 4:

Priest said her client doesn’t recall any such incident but “is adamant he did not sexually assault her”.

    Wednesday guilty plea

Complainant 1: the pervert changed his position from an implied defence that the complaint was made up to “it happened”.
Complainant 2: the pervert changed his position from “simply didn’t happen” to “it happened”.
Complainant 3: the pervert maintains that “she wanted it” and the Crown has dropped the charge.
Complainant 4: the pervert maintains that he “doesn’t recall any such incident” and the Crown has dropped the charge.

It’s important to note that the pervert pleaded guilty to assault charges (downgraded from sexual assault charges). I’m buggered if I can figure out how touching another person’s penis, vagina or breasts without his or her consent is anything other than sexual assault.

    0

    0

    • Welcome aboard Nostra. Like you it’s beyond me how touching people’s private parts can be construed not to be “sexual” assault.

    • Because we are talking about the progeny of liarbor deviants. No one is allowed to know who they are, so it’s open slather on innuendo and speculation.

      • I think, by process of elimination, we can exclude Stephieboy. To the best of my knowledge, based on his infamous Kiwiblog comments, he confines himself to looking at, and reporting on, small but ample breasts – not touching them!

        • He wouldn’t be allowed to touch and unlike those chosen for protection by the LP, Stephieboy would find himself up to his neck in sexual abuse trouble in a court appearance.

  19. Exclusive: Team leaders at Aviation Security Services accused of allowing people to board flights with illegal items
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2019/09/exclusive-aviation-security-services-staff-accused-of-allowing-people-to-board-flights-with-illegal-items.html

“When it comes to not following procedures, the allegations are serious – like allowing passengers to carry illegal items like knives with a blade longer than 6cm on to flights, just so team leaders can avoid doing paperwork.

“I’ve witnessed team leaders allowing longer knives through the checkpoints, injurious substances, allowing dangerous goods that should not be going on planes,” the former worker says.”

    • …..”just so team leaders can avoid doing paperwork.”……

More likely the team leaders were doing what any sane person would do.

Simple risk assessment would indicate that a 50yo executive wearing a suit is an order of magnitude less likely to endanger safety than a twenty year old carrying a goat under one arm & muttering something about Allah Akbar!

    • “He (Justice Davidson) said of media coverage about Appanna’s role: “I consider that it is likely that the business interests and activities described in this media publicity would be viewed by many potential patients and their GPs as quite incongruent with his role as an O&G [obstetrics and gynaecology] surgeon.”

      That says it all.

  21. Paul was ambling through a crowded street fair when he decided to stop & sit at a Palm Reader’s table.

Said the mysterious old woman, “For fifteen dollars, I can read your love line & tell your romantic future.”

Paul readily agreed & the reader took one look at his open palm & said, “I can see that you have no girlfriend.”

    “That’s true,” said Paul.

“Oh my goodness, you are extremely lonely, aren’t you?”

“Yes,” Paul shamefully admitted. “That’s amazing. Can you tell all of this from my love line?”

“Love line? No, from the calluses & blisters.”

  22. New allowance welcomed by mum of three standing for council.

A Bay of Plenty council whose youngest member is 57 years old has been described as “selfless” and “progressive” after voting in a decision said to have a huge impact on democracy in the region.

Western Bay of Plenty District Council passed a motion to create a childcare allowance for elected members, which will take effect after this year’s local body elections.

Never mind that the people who pay the rates are struggling as well.
The fucking trougher knows no boundaries and if you can’t afford to be a local or govt. elected person then go get a real job.
You are only a troughing fucking nuisance anyway.
Time the Laws were given a haircut on this shit.

    • 400k for a half pie report. 14 million to fix a council conspiracy and an attack on the builder.
Most of that council will be gone shortly. You ain’t seen the half of there get stuffed attitude.
Even many of their staff don’t like what has been going down.
Like most of these “reports” etc the outcome was framed by the group that created the problem to give them the result that suited them best. Scum bags.

    Long may it last.

    • May it be the beginning of the groundswell against her and her cronies. Everything they touch turns to dust. Election promises from her in 2020 will ring hollow.

  24. More religious problems, but it must not be named.
Being in Australia he probably had read the very religious “manifesto” of Brenton Tarrant to read? 🙁

A former Canberra journalist who allegedly made threats to behead Christians as a reprisal for the Christchurch massacre was granted bail on Wednesday. ….
…. “I’m going to kill every single one of you dog polytheist c—-,” a post he allegedly wrote read. ….
…. ordered a scimitar from Pakistan and had sharpened it before making threats to behead Christians in his front yard. ….
…. applied for bail twice and had the applications rejected by two magistrates for fear he would commit further offences. ….
“completely preoccupied by extreme religious views” and posed a danger to the community. ….
…. extreme religious beliefs had been “ongoing and fixated” for a period of two years ….
…. released him on bail but ordered he must reside with the two family friends, must accept supervision, he must not approach the Canberra House of Prayer and he cannot use social media. ….
…. Mr Waugh’s matter will return to court in February next year.
    https://www.canberratimes.com.au/story/6354084/former-canberra-journalist-who-allegedly-threatened-to-behead-christians-granted-bail/

What has this guy been reading? 🙁

He seems to be seeking reprisals on Brenton Tarrant’s followers. 🙁

Will this defendant be able to continue reading such inspiring writings, while out on bail with a scimitar or some such equivalent.

    1 minute 18 secs.
    https://d.tube/#!/v/vladtepesblog/QmXyQiYY2aXRUhkmivUtkAyHNnBdS5XLjyDaS9aUs9m2Ti

Take time, go on hold now and again to read the subtitles.
Think on the words used to paint the picture from one side of the political scene, and also see that it is just a political protest showing up the ineptness of the French government.

Their sentence from the UN Migration Pact via Macron’s judiciary is portrayed as appropriate.
It is designed to break them and their group.
