  9. The NZ Herald is running an article (Premium), so I will not link, pay or read, by David Fisher. Why I comment on this without reading it, is that I will not pay these arseholes 1 cent when they are taking Labour Government money to prop themselves up. Nor will I read political hit jobs, which clearly is paid for, by this Government to belittle anyone or any political party other than Labour.

    This article is entitled: “Profile: Harete Hipango and how she upset National colleagues”. It is written by one, David Fisher who I contend is an all out liar and a paid weasel of this Labour Government.

    How does David Fisher know Harete Hipango upset her National colleagues? We know she upset one, the soft cock National Leader but that is all. How many others, I bet Fisher does not say, just smears Hipango by innuendo.
    Did he interview any National MP, Constituent or List?
    If he did, how many and how many of those stated they were upset and would one even be named? Are they the majority of National’s Caucus or just one MP?
    If not, his claims have no validity.

    As I say, while I have not and would not read the article, I reckon I can safely make these claims without fear of contradiction, purely because the Herald gets paid by this Labour Government, that this article is nothing but a smear and hit job on National and Harete Hipango. The author has a track record of dishonesty in his writings previously.

    Mr Fisher, is a lying weasel, a man of no morals, no integrity, and no honour.

    This is the same David Fisher who is a great friend of the fat convicted German fraudster, Kim Dotcom, who this country has weakly tried to remove from it’s soil for many years. So you know where Fishers morals stand. It is the same David Fisher who has campaigned in his published articles in support of Kim Dotcoms continued residence in this country.

    The NZH deserves every bit of contempt heaped on it for this sort of gutter journalism. I dislike National, but absolutely despise Labour for paying newspapers to do Labours dirty work.

    A cunning way to get home
    Have been told the story of a Kiwi family in Australia who were desperate to get home, as there were serious mental health issues due to being stuck in Australia. But the Government refused them a compassionate spot in MIQ and of course people in Australia can’t even go into the MIQ ballot at the moment.

    So what they did was book an airfare to Fiji which had a stopover in Auckland. In Auckland they got the kids to refuse to get back on the plane, as the kids wanted to see the rest if their family in Auckland. It seems that there is some international convention that prohibits forcing children onto a place, so the family was then transferred into an MIQ facility in Auckland, which is what they wanted.

    The MIQ facility was in fact half empty (as many are, as the Government is unable to do simple stuff like match supply and demand) so they weren’t even taking a place from someone else.

    So if you have kids, can’t get an MIQ spot, and don’t mind forking out for a wasted airfare to Fiji, this could be a way home!

    And it occurs to me there is another way stranded Kiwis could get home, even if they don’t have kids. Just book an airfare which has an Auckland stopover and during the stopover, claim asylum. I know it is ridiculous for a NZ citizen to claim asylum against a country they have lived in such as Australia or the UK, but it doesn’t matter how ridiculous it is.

    You see the moment you have informed a NZ official that you are seeking asylum, they are forbidden from forcing you to get back on the plane you were on. So the plane will leave without you, and you will be transferred to MIQ. You then drop your claim for asylum and after your MIQ stay, get to stay in NZ (as a NZ citizen or permanent resident).

    Just shows how a real Kiwi is so much smarter than our so called Govt and all it minnions, we need more like them.

    In 1981, I was involved in the chartering of a vessel, the “Pacific Charger”, for a part cargo from Asia, of car parts to Nelson and then, some steel into Wellington. After leaving Nelson, a storm blew up in Cook Strait and the Wellington Harbour Master instructed the Master of the “Pacific Charger” to stay out of port as it was too dangerous to enter. The Master new better and decided to enter Wellington. At the height of the storm the Master ran the “Pacific Charger” aground at Baring Head. He mistook Baring Head as the entrance to Wellington Harbour. The “Pacific Charger” was on her maiden voyage on a Bareboat Charter from the Kansai Steamship Company in Tokyo to Taiwanese Charterers. The Taiwanese, supplied the crew etc. But how this vessel got to NZ is almost a mystery, for during the enquiry into the vessels grounding, it was found there were no charts of NZ waters or charts for NZ Ports onboard the vessel. The Master had used a Taiwanese school atlas to navigate to NZ and get the vessel to Nelson & Wellington.

    So back to the “Canterbury”, I wonder, is the Government looking for the “Pacific Chargers” Atlas to be able to get the Canterbury to Tonga? If they are, it probably is still in Wellington.

      Why have not NZ academia reviewed this, or the media investigated when other people have raised concerns about 5 kids have some immediate reactions, and note the Update, 5th January 2022.

      The WHO have changed their recommendations for 5-11 year olds on the 5th Jan.
