    • I am surprised also that they published this view, contrary to their own and many of the church going New Zealanders. Which is crazy. I was at a function recently where the majority were catholic and were decrying him. I said while I do not believe what he believes in, sky daddy etc I did not see that there were many differences in churches, and that he has shown many the way away from the wrong path in life. I think the members are too into their church, rather than robbing homes, businesses etc. Interesting how the Mobs who live by the rule of take what you can, and sell as many drugs as you can, shoot other mobsters etc get away with such behaviour. Poor old Brian is locked up being a martyr for the cause of freedom, that he so vehemently believes in. I so hope the judge tomorrow throws out the case and releases Brian Tamaki or I fear what will come after any decision to the contrary. FJA and her band of pathetics.

    • Well said that man! I have no truck with Tamaki’s half baked religious beliefs but his protest goes deeper than that. He is one of a handful of prominent people prepared to challenge this government’s dangerous Covid policies:

          • Haven’t been great since Sid Holland retired.
            Progressively gone socialist. But in saying that they were very partisan prior to that. Certainly protected, propped up the farmers and their business funders using licensing and import controls and using their quangos to control things such as wheat and apples and so on.
            Never forget that.
            Now there are some good parts of what we are infested with but once something gets started it inevitably gets taken over by the left and the socialist ideals.
            ACC being a very good example

            Imagine how much better off we would be now if the Govt. had simply said to the Medico’s. ” find out what works and use it.
            Ivermectin would have been available to anyone, off prescription andin every chemist shop.

            Pharma supposedly does a great job but actually if you analyse that then you would see I think that they don’t really. People can’t access new drugs quickly and their budget is contained. We continue to subsidize off patent drugs that can be bought very cheaply in the chemist warehouse and other chemists.

            Who believes the the suppliers couldn’t negotiate better pricing than Pharma and who believes we can’t make choice about at least some of the medicines we take?
            Competition is a wonderful thing.
            If you don’t think so just look at what happened once we unshackled (well almost) the NZ Post monopoly on telephones.

            Imagine if that monopoly had been maintained.
            The biggest threat to progress is the govt. and the Cartels that thrive under the Govt.s influence.
            Banks being a good example of that.

    On arrival at hospital had 3 covid lateral flow tests which all came back negative. (Wife also tested 3 times negative too.)
    So why the hospital protocols that was being pushed on John?

  48. Oh well Teddy and I went to the supermarket this morning (Masked up and Social Distancing of course) and stocked up on toliet paper and canned foods.
    I’ve locked the doors, closed the blinds and Teddy is back in his spot in the window. I am now hiding away until this Omicron variant is over. (It sure looks scary out there!)
