    Major economies in Europe have started to roll back COVID-19 restrictions that were implemented in recent weeks in response to a spike in cases and hospitalizations.

    First, the good news – 21,300 fewer people in New Zelaand are drawing a main benefit, compared to 12 months ago.

    The Minister of Social Development is crowing about this drop in benefit numbers in the December quarterly figures from Work and Income.
    Carmel Sepuloni says “the Government’s strong focus on supporting more people into work is reflected in these figures”.

    However, drill down into Work and Income’s data and the wider picture is far less flattering. The quarterly fall is a drop in the bucket of the surge in benefit dependency under Labour’s watch over the past four years.

    Currently, 368,172 Kiwis are the recipient of a main benefit, 11.7 per cent of the working-age population, whether it be Jobseeker Support, Sole Parent Support or Supported Living.

The N95 was originally developed for industrial use, for protection from particulate matter. The P2 , similarly is for industrial use. This data says they they can be used for protect from microbes or viruses but I think that is just a sales push

      I fear in New Zealand the systemic medical autocracy is going to also kill many as she explained some of the USA hospital’s treatment protocols.
      The suffering and the long slow delayed recovery is cruel in NZ, and then to use that “long covid” to pressure others to be vaxxed.

      To pressure me to be get on the vaxx program, my Doctor told me that if I had covid problems then the only treatment for me is Remdesivir and to put me on a ventilator.
      If I survived, then the recovery would take many months. That was very chilling, as if it seemed to me he was ready to euthanize me, though he did not ask if I wanted a DNR.
      To realize you will be isolated, kept out of contact with friends, & family, and probably can you even maintain a cellphone? charged up? and a paid up plan?

      In New Zealand we need to set up systems, to work around these systemic hospital protocols.
      To make them aware they will be checked up.
      Not just a Doctor’s certificate for your death backed by a few case notes.

      Even like having a timely autopsy done on your body, and proper pathology tests done on your tissues and to relate it to what medicines & treatments were done.
      Can all be set up in your will to paid by your “estate”.
      Autopsies and pathology have almost been dispensed with these days, so the hospital & medical practitioners are not being kept an independent eye on.

      I am only starting to think like this, whilst questioning if I have a paranoia.
      Trust has gone, just as those Doctors seem to have modernized in thinking that consideration of principles & values of the Hippocratic Oath is gone past a “use by date”.

    “As we know, along with vaccination, testing, good hygiene and physical distancing, good ventilation is important in minimising the risk of airborne transmission of the virus that causes Covid-19,” says Hipkins.

    “I’ve heard that schools have done a good job keeping fresh air moving through their classrooms, but we know opening doors and windows to get fresh air flow won’t always be practical.”

    Hipkins expects the first 500 air cleaners to arrive in March and the remaining 4500 to be delivered by June.

    These will be used in targeted areas within some schools in the coming months.

    • Poor Chippie. He’s only twenty months behind what senior Doctors have been trying to tell him.

      Next he needs to have the revelation to shut down MIQ, open the borders and get people out into the fresh air.

      As for the portable (electrostatic) air cleaners, they’ve only been around since before he was born.
