  1. Tell that to all the woke and easily offended ones in our midst. I am sure they would disagree with you.

I hate this anti mankind movement.

    • “Women can do anything” is one of the greatest lies of modern times. As women are discovering for example, being a mother and having a successful career is next to impossible…unless earning a huge heap of money and having servants at your beck and call, ie. Ardern.

They were sold a lie. Women’s happiness index has been dropping every decade to the point of being unhappy, so it would seem most (Western) women aren’t exactly enthralled with what feminism has sold them. It might also help explain why most women don’t self-identify as feminists.

That’s not even to make mockery of the absurdity of that statement, for example, if a woman can do anything, she could be a perpetual motion machine.

Especially as so many people appear to swoon over her (or she deliberately surrounds herself with sycophants).

      • In the 1980s there was an actual bumpers ticker around that read “Girls can do anything’
A guy I was at school with was engaged to a gal who put this bumper sticker on her car.

His father – later her father in law – purchased the same bumper sticker and cut it appropriately and pasted it over the original.

It read as ‘can Girls do anything’ It was a week before she noticed while others already had.

Anyway, they are still married today. I visited his father last year who is widowed in his 80s and he still has a sharp sense of humour and reckons there are only 2 genders. We sure agreed on that.

There is nothing wrong with being different – infact, I’m quite happy that I am. Life would be very boring if we were all the same. ?

    • And that’s fundamentally why I’m an advocate of the free market. It’s the only system that can grant this. Under socialism, for example, you’re owned by the State and can never be free.

      • Like Cuba where you are rationed so many grams of rice, beans, etc per week. A perfect example of capitalism in action is the grocery store- I tell my 12 year old son every single thing in here was created by someone who got paid to do it. The reason there’s a million different types of everything? The free market. Never too early to teach my kids the evils of socialism.

          • It’s annoying having to go to the supermarket in NZ sometimes, but that clip is just DEPRESSING! I do hope their quality and food choices have improved. I suspect they have now that ‘Russia’ has opened up it’s economy considerably since then. Disgusting that Cindy and Robbo are totally unaware of economic reality for socialist/communist countries, preferring the sanitised version they have been schooled in.

  4. The mini ice-age that is coming – the petri dish of political change
Great piece about the impacts of the approaching mini ice age from Armstrong Economics four years ago (unlike Climate Alarmist science, this forecast appears to be coming true), about the coming mini-ice age caused by the waning of our Sun (NOTE – not man-made waning caused by the increase of the number of truly stupid people in public office – but natural waning).

It describes how the Maunder minimum (1620-1690) – which is the closest recent time the sun went into a sharp decline the way that it is currently – was the petri dish of massive social, human and political change …..

The Maunder Minimum created such a deep cold in Europe and extreme weather events elsewhere that what unfolds is a series of droughts, floods, and harvest failures. Historically, this leads to massive migrations, wars and revolutions. The fatal synergy between human and natural disasters eradicated perhaps one-third of the human population during the last event and this time we are crashing more rapidly than before.”

If we were to euthanise the insane policies put in place since the 2017 election, NZ could find itself (as an over-producer of a high energy easily transportable food stuff (milk fat)) getting a massive economic windfall for our ability to produce food so efficiently at a time when other parts of the world are experiencing famine conditions.

I’m sure no one alive at the start of the Maunder minimum thought that up to a third of the world population would die, still as we’re doing such a brilliant job of learning the lessons of the past and preparing to weather the coming storm – it’ll be different this time (Tui advert).

If you wanted to do everything you could to ensure that the loss of life and disruption to civil society is as drastic as possible you’d:
    – distract the populace with some Chicken Little fraud about the planet over-heating
    – attack and seek to destroy the fossil fuel industry (the only fuel that could tide us over through the coming ice age)
    – undermine your nation’s ability to maintain or improve food production
    – increase the number of unproductive members of the population and over-burden the productive members
    – further stress your social, housing and welfare systems by importing dead-weight 3rd world refugees unable to assimilate or produce

The NWO wants a world population of about 3 billion – population control advocate John Holdren was science adviser to Clinton and Obama – they want a return to a sort of feudal subsistence level society where the masses of deplorables know their place and are ruled over by their betters.

We’re living in the ruins of the once great Western civilisation, we are the cast acting out the first 30 seconds of a disaster movie. In the future, historians will look at this period and ask “when all the signs were so clear, why did they do all those crazy things to make it worse?”

    • That’s scary stuff. When will the lefties wake up and realise they are being led by their leaders to their doom. You can guarantee the poorest will be the ones who are the most vulnerable when it happens.

      0

      0

      • Leftists don’t give a fuck about the poor; they just hate the deserving rich.

Leftists love certain rich folk like top end Hollywood actors, so some nuance is needed over riches. In this case I’m suggesting they love rich folk who basically fell into it – the “undeserving rich” as opposed to those who worked bloody hard for it in comparison.

    • Just a nitpick: the Dalton Minimum was more recent (1790 – 1830). It even produced the “year with no summer”.

There was also the mid 20th century cooling. I don’t think it’s been given a name since it’s such an inconvenient truth. Giving rise to the predictions of an Ice Age by year 2000 at the first Earth Day in 1970. (The cooling period ended in 1979). It wasn’t as drastic as a Maunder or Dalton Minimum but nevertheless cooling.

    • I’m not even sure population increase would be an issue if the political dictatorships could be sorted. Africa has massive natural resources including water and if used properly the Africans of all nations would prosper. Then as we all know, if prosperity increases , generalyl birth rates drop over time.
As well as there own politics needing “correction” they also need all the Greenies to get out of the way so they can use their own resources to generate cheap energy –the major need for future prosperity.

        0

    • Good grief this climate bollocks is so boring now. Here’s the real reasons behind it, sorry it’s a rather long post:

Maurice Strong, who organized the first U.N. Earth Climate Summit (1992) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil revealed the real goal: “We may get to the point where the only way of saving the world will be for industrialized civilization to collapse.”
U.S. Senator Timothy Wirth (D-CO) addressing the Rio Climate Summit audience, agreed: “We have got to ride the global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic policy and environmental policy.”
Deputy Assistant of State Richard Benedick, who then headed the policy divisions of the U.S. State Department said: “A global warming treaty [Kyoto] must be implemented even if there is no scientific evidence to back the [enhanced] greenhouse effect.”
Former Canadian Minister of the Environment, told editors and reporters of the Calgary Herald: “No matter if the science of global warming is all phony…climate change [provides] the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.”
Former Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev emphasized the importance of using climate alarmism to advance socialist Marxist objectives: “The threat of environmental crisis will be the international disaster key to unlock the New World Order.”
Speaking at the 2000 U.N. Conference on Climate Change in the Hague, former President Jacques Chirac of France explained why the IPCC’s climate initiative supported a key Western European Kyoto Protocol objective: “For the first time, humanity is instituting a genuine instrument of global governance, one that should find a place within the World Environmental Organization which France and the European Union would like to see established.”
It is pure fiction that Climate Change is based on science and the environment. This is a purely political movement. It’s no coincidence that the further left one’s politics, the more firmly one believes mankind can stop the climate from changing.

There is so much going on at the moment and you are being fed ‘Cutesy’ Baby Stories by Labour Spin to distract from all this. It is the Media’s job to hold Government to account, not to be part of their PR team”

    • No comments showing at all now and no sign that they ever were?

Did you really link the right article? If so, I don’t think “enemy” is a strong enough term to use for the media. Traitors to the people of NZ is a better term.

I’m looking for Ardern to replicated her Canadian alter-ego Trudeau and throw funding pre-election to the media to increase the coverage of the campaign (ie tell lies about how fabulous socialist Cindy is and how terrible everyone else is).

We no longer have a democracy in NZ. It is essential to have a free and enquiring press (the 4th estate) as well as an independent and apolitical judiciary. As we have neither and both are operating as organs of the left – we now in deep trouble. No wonder the CoL are pushing so hard on disarmament – they know that discontent is fomenting.

  11. With the flood of Moonlanding/Apollo documentaries on our screen at the moment (which I am very much enjoying) who else here has taken time to stop and look at the moon in a manner that they have not done so since those heady days of the late 60’s and early 70’s?
Just this morning I found myself looking up into a clear blue sky, seeing a half-moon that looked very clear and once again being genuinely amazed that man had been to the moon at all, let alone 50 years ago. The deeds of Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins still sends a shiver down my spine, these were men of unimaginable bravery. Somehow I think we would be hard pushed to find their equal amongst today’s woke generation.

    • Well written Bruv- I am hugely interested in the Apollo programme and its history. People forget just how behemoth the effort was and the immense sacrifices made (Apollo 1 tragedy for starters)
It fucking disgusts me that the ‘woke’ Left are mocking the achievement and sneering at Buzz Aldrin and the other ‘Old White Men’ from NASA (Read Stuff’s article last week)

      0

      0

    • On Sunday night after watching the story of Apollo I spent a couple of minutes marvelling at the beauty of the moon in a clear sky. What they achieved is surreal especially since Nasa have not been back in 50 years. Scary that Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong came close to being stranded in the module on the moon surface after knocking one of the knobs off an essential electrical control. Thankfully Buzz jammed it back on.

But, the Greens acting as a bully, using somebody’s accent because they don’t have much else to critique on feels a bit hypocritical. Not that you’d expect anything else of a communist party. What would happen if their gay members were mocked for being gay? Or short? Or fat?

If all they have is his accent, rather than the absolutely, retarded mess their electric vehicle policy is then they’re in dire need of help. Better help than an add agency, because that turd cannot be gift wrapped.

  14. After all the rubbish on the radio about plastic i did a bit of thinking.

Its not the plastic that’s the problem.
    Plastic products are great.
Its the people who do not dispose of the plastic correctly.

(But I do think some products are over packaged in plastic – eg razors and badderies)

    0

    0

    • Polystyrene is the worst & it’s everywhere. Buy any electronic item or household appliance & you’ll get a rubbish bag full of the crap.

And to the best of my knowledge it can’t be economically recycled.

      0

      0

      • Yes it can a lady from a company that makes polystyrene underfloor insulation says they can reuse it.
And they pick it up from some places.
Basically they just re-grind it and use it as new raw material mixed in with new stuff.

They and the councils need to start publicizing what can be recycled and where and how and what cannot.
But with all this reclying crap it is the cost of getting it to the place that recycles it.

        0

        0

        • …..” the cost of getting it to the place that recycles it”…..

All true. The only hope of making it economic is to do the initial processing in the field. eg. cars crushed & cardboard baled at council recycling centres. I guess styrene could be ground locally but freight of such a light & bulky product would be the killer.

Centralising of production works better for some products than others.

There was talk a few years ago about a portable Aussie machine that could take low grade plastic & process it into liquid fuel. It may have died a natural death but if something like this was viable it would serve a better purpose than all the green wank & bag bans yet mooted.

        • I’d run that proposal past the Green peaceniks before I committed myself to large scale production WG. 🙂

            • get a big glass jar, half fill with petrol, add polystyrene until all dissolved and saturated. You will be surprised how much it will take. Becomes less volatile and very sticky. Used for all sorts of things.

        • Yup, just need something to get it on target, possibly coat a hydrogen-filled balloon with it, and a slow fuze, and some commie bastards, and woosh….

  15. The excellent Nicole McKee on with Campbell talking about the gun registry. Nicole is a very good shot and is doing great work on behalf of licenced firearms owners.

The answer is not after Donald Trump he is actually accomplishing something even though they have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at him unlike his predecessor that got it for the color of his skin, what has Ardern done of note and do you think she actually has the capacity or intellect to do anything worthwhile in the future besides divide a nation even further that is, lol who am i kidding she will get one once she is at her UN gig for being the princess of hugs & feelz that makes as much sense as anything else these days

    • The useless mesiah Obumma should hand his back. Trump has done more for world peace in the past 3 years than Obumma ever did in 8.

    • I put the comment up about “after The Donald”. It was sarcasm as that is never going to happen despite President Trump actually achieving significant improvement with his clever play with the volatile leader of the secretive nation of North Korea and also keeping Iran on a tight leash. Trump has Little Rocket man eating out of his hand as he so enjoys the pomp and ceremony centre stage with the leader of the fee world. Cindy did nothing more than hug a few people as any empathetic leader would under the circumstances.

  17. Ardern is saying ANZ should pay for the Silver Ferns winning? What is it with her and spending other pepple’s money. ANZ, as a sponsor, has already paid their way. If Ardern wants to pay more, she can hive them each a bonus with her own fucking money.

      • When Labour came into power I decided to drink everytime Ardern lies. I haven’t stopped since 2017 – I’m permanently on the turps now.

    • The contract the Silverferns management signed with their sponsors should have stipulated what the girls would receive if they won, or did the possibility of the team winning not occur to their managment? If no such agreement was made ANZ is not responsible for the shortcomings of the Silverferns management. When you play with the big boys you need to be up to the task.

      • Lest we forget.
They lost to the amateur men’s team a few weeks ago so all this talk of ‘pay parity’ is utter bollocks.

Nonetheless, an excellent performance against the Aussies and a turn around from the disaster of a year ago.

Let’s hope he has a happier end than Happy Feet, another Antarctic visitor. Wasn’t he found on the Kapiti Coast?

  19. Pierre, a brave French fighter pilot, takes his girlfriend, Marie, out for a pleasant little picnic by the River Seine.

It’s a beautiful day and love is in the air. Marie leans over to Pierre and says, “Pierre, kiss me!” Our hero grabs a bottle of Merlot and splashes it on Marie’s lips. What are you doing, Pierre?” says the startled Marie.

“I am Pierre, the fighter pilot! When I have red meat, I like to have red wine!” She smiles and they start kissing. When things began to heat up a little, Marie says, “Pierre, kiss me lower.”Our hero tears her blouse open, grabs a bottle of Chardonnay and starts pouring it all over her breasts. “Pierre! What are you doing?”, asks the bewildered Marie.

“I am Pierre the fighter pilot! When I have white meat, I like to have white wine!” They resume their passionate interlude and things really steam up.Marie leans close to his ear and whispers, “Pierre, kiss me lower!” Our hero, grabs a bottle of Cognac and pours it between her thighs. He then strikes a match and sets it on fire. Marie shrieks and dives into the river.Standing waist deep, Marie throws her arms upwards and screams furiously, “PIERRE, what in the hell do you think you’re doing?”

Our hero stands up, defiantly, and says, “I am Pierre the fighter pilot! When I go down, I go down in flames!”
