  1. Apparently wellington is sick of the protestors . What they don’t get is the protestors are there because they are sick of wellington making rules that affect them. They need to direct their anger at the outsider politicians that live in their city 4 days a week.

  2. “Reports that Newstalk ZB’s senior journalist, Barry Soper, was reprimanded by the Speaker of the House for speaking with protestors defies the very purpose of the media, and their crucial role in enabling free speech. Interference of this kind is a disgraceful attempt to undermine the independence of the media.“

“Equally, comments by Deputy Prime Minister Grant Robertson calling on the Police to ensure the law is enforced is a clear breach of section 16 of the Policing Act 2008. Ministers must not weigh in on the operational decisions of Police in relation to enforcing the law and the maintenance of order. The Prime Minister noted this was an operational matter.“

  3. Natural Immunity Lasts for at Least 18 Months: Study
    By Zachary Stieber
    January 29, 2022 Updated: February 9, 2022

The protection people experience after recovering from COVID-19, known widely as natural immunity, lasts for at least 18 months, according to a recently published study.

Researchers in Italy analyzed the level of antibodies in 36 patients who were documented as contracting COVID-19 in March 2020. About half of the patients went on to get COVID-19 vaccines, but the rest remained unvaccinated. Samples from all but two were tested at timed intervals, ending in September 2021, using assays that have received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

  4. Nasska…re Trespass at Parliament.
I can’t access the NZ Law reports to get the actual Begg decision but this finding from the Ombudsman indicates that it does not over-ride the rights of property occupiers…

“39. In its submission to me on behalf of the HDC, the Council’s solicitors referred to the case
of Police v Beggs1 as giving useful guidance on the exercise of powers by occupiers under
the Trespass Act. The solicitors said that Beggs confirms that the rights, such as freedom
of expression, recognised in the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act are not unfettered and do
not supersede the rights of occupiers under the Trespass Act. The test for the exercise of
trespass powers is what is reasonable in all the circumstances. The High Court in that
case had discussed “reasonableness” in various scenarios, eschewing a precise formula
for the definition of what is reasonable in view of the infinite factual situations that might
    arise.
    40. In my view what is significant about Beggs is not that the rights affirmed in the Bill of
Rights Act, such as freedom of expression, have some limits and do not supersede the
rights of occupiers under the Trespass Act. Its real significance is the exact opposite –
that the rights of public authority occupiers are limited by the rights affirmed by the Bill
of Rights Act. The exercise of a Trespass Act power by a public authority, though not
abrogated by the Bill of Rights Act, has to be consistent with those rights and “reasonable
in the circumstances”. Such a test is not found in the Trespass Act itself.”

    • ……”The test for the exercise of trespass powers is what is reasonable in all the circumstances”……

Disappointing. It comes back to a subjective assessment first by the police when arresting/charging & later by the judiciary who of recent times haven’t shown the non-partisan approach we should expect of them.

The 120 have been remanded until March. If they all plead not guilty it will become a long drawn out series of trials which will stir up anti-mandate sentiment. It aint over by a long shot.

  5. The mass gathering on Feb. 12 had a carnival atmosphere along Wellington Street near Parliament Hill, and spirits were sent soaring as people stood and sang along in unity with a very well-received song list.

Speeches were made throughout the day, during which key words and phrases—such as freedom—earned cheers and whistles from the packed-in crowd. Regular cries of “Freedom” were shouted out and answered in similar fashion, while vehicles with national emblems fluttering above their flatbeds honked their horns as they cruised the snow-covered streets.

Not Wellington of course but the same behaviour.

  6. I checked into a hotel on a business trip and was a bit lonely so I thought I’d get me one of those girls you see advertised in phone booths when you’re calling for a cab.
I grabbed a card on my way in. It was an ad for a girl calling herself Erogonique, a lovely girl, bending over in the photo. She had all the right curves in all the right places, beautiful long wavy hair, long graceful legs all the way up to her ass. You know the kind. So I’m in my room and figure, what the hell, I’ll give her a call.
“Hello?” the woman says. God, she sounded sexy.
“Hi, I hear you give a great massage and I’d like you to come to my room and give me one. No, wait, I should be straight with you. I’m in town all alone and what I really want is sex. I want it hard, I want it hot, and I want it now. I’m talking kinky the whole night long. You name it, we’ll do it. Bring all your implements, toys, everything you’ve got in your bag of tricks. We’ll go hot and heavy all night Tie me up, wear a strap on, cover me in chocolate syrup and whip cream, anything you want baby. Now, how does that sound?”
She says, “That sounds fantastic, but for an outside line you need to press 9.”

Many are threatening to leave or refuse to attend certain high risk callouts because of it, they understand how punative cindys stupid rules are and that after a stint of isolation, family and work disruption that once back on deck their first callout can potentially land them back in isolation.

  9. Just a watch & learn how pressure is kicking in on the Canadian police & Trudeau.
So Police Chief now calls for more police resources, so he can use them in the “State of Emergency” edict.

….. Ottawa’s police chief warns he doesn’t have enough police resources to enforce the new powers designed to end the truck convoy protest and blockade in downtown Ottawa. ….
…. Ottawa police expect the same number of vehicles and demonstrators to descend on downtown Ottawa this weekend “should be in the range of last weekend.” …..
    [last weekend]

…However, Chief Sloly notes there are other planned demonstrations across Ontario this weekend.
    https://ottawa.ctvnews.ca/ottawa-seeks-injunction-for-bylaw-violations-as-police-chief-waits-for-word-on-additional-resources-1.5778024

But seems to be opening up just what are enough resources are there under Trudeau’s definitions, who seems to be failing. 🙂
It sounds like the Canadian police on the ground are stretched, probably getting tired, and pop up problems elsewhere of “whack a mole” has them on the run?

  10. “It is not Trudeau’s choice to step down or to attempt to stay. It is the decision of the World Economic Forum (WEF). This is a critical decision which will affect the entire world. This is not a battle for just Canada, it is a battle for the World. This is the first domino of corruption and if it falls, the entire plan of the WEF fails because all the corrupt dominos will fall if they are forced out of power. Leaving them in power really is simply a short respite for the People.
Frankly, the WEF cannot afford for Trudeau to step down. If he falls, Biden falls, Australia falls, New Zealand falls and all of Europe falls. Then the rest of the world joins in.
The sane world is crazy not to make Ottawa the hill they will die on and not give in. It is an opportunity unexpected. Probably an opportunity that will not come again.
The Truckers are truly the People’s Army. Where else could you quickly assemble such a strong, younger Army to possibly confront the Globalist Tyranny Army? It is an Army everyone else can join and get behind. Half the Globalist Tyranny Army will desert them and join the Truckers if they appear to succeed in Ottawa.
Truckers can win, this but it will take support from everyone. There is a window of opportunity that will not stay open forever. Time is not on our side.
The WEF is not going to go without a fight or without having great fear that they will be smashed by this world-wide movement. Even then the WEF members will be sorely afraid of ending up like Mussolini hanging in the Milan Square and will fight to avoid that.
I think people greatly underestimate the overall importance of Ottawa and underestimate the difficulty of overcoming Trudeau. He and the WEF simply cannot afford to lose. I fear also that the People of the world cannot afford to lose in Ottawa. It will likely be the People’s last battle if they lose Ottawa.
I do not agree that this is only about a non violent confrontation. I don’t think the WEF will fold because of a lengthy non violent protest of a few thousand truckers. They have been working on this tyranny plan for 100 years. I think they will fold only if they are clearly weaker in strength than the People’s Army. Whether it is non violent or violent confrontation, for either way to succeed requires great power standing behind the Truckers with obvious reserve waiting behind them. This means the WEF must act now before the People’s Army grows too large with strong reserves. I expect action by the WEF soon to squash this uprising. This is not about Trudeau, this is the WEF plan in place around the world. Everyone must be ready to heavily support the Truckers and step into the battle if they are attacked.”

  11. Impertinent questions from Darkest Maniapoto, New Zealand.

Has Jethro been found yet or is he still a missing person?
Are the Police looking for him?
Has DJ Cindy appointed a Director General, on an exorbitant salary, to administer the Red Light Phase 2 the country is in?
If the Throat Clap outbreak gets greater will DJ Cindy move the country to Red Light Phase 3?
Why is 11.58pm a dangerous time but 11.59pm not so dangerous when Red light Levels change?
Is Robbo happy with the country’s Bank Balance?
Has Russia invaded the Ukraine yet?
Has the Mahutapotomus again threated Putin with a strong response and with dire warnings as a result?
Has Putin retreated to the inner sanctum of the Kremlin as a result of possible further threats by the Mahutapotomus and is he trying to find Aotearoa on a Russian map to fill in time between possible threats?
Has DJ Cindy found a new Op Shop to buy her clothes at yet?
Who pays for Cindy & Jethro’s food at Premier House?
Has the food bill gone down at premier House as Jethro may not be living there any more?

There are many more taxing questions from the country’s nether regions yet to be asked, but will the country get an answer to any?

  12. I have ventured beyond the pay wall to extract this gem for y’all.

    > Subject: Telegraph – Ardern & Trudeau
    > Date: 13 February 2022
    >
    > Ardern and Trudeau, the woke darlings of the Western world, are finally getting their comeuppance
    >
    > Facing protests and falling popularity, they are proof that it is wrong to prize empathy in political leaders above everything else
    > DOUGLAS MURRAY
    >
    > Who knew that empathy wasn’t enough? Two leaders who got to their positions by showing how much they can emote, how much they can feel, how much they care, now appear to be in the worst positions of almost any head of government in the democratic world.
    > Take Jacinda Ardern, prime minister of New Zealand. Ardern has always achieved a degree of international fame far beyond that enjoyed by most leaders of her small nation because she is a woman and she appears to really mind. In fact caring is Ardern’s shtick. She is especially good at apologising for things she hasn’t done. Her face crumples, her voice breaks, and the world’s news organisations shout in chorus: “Here is what we need in a leader.”
    >
    > Sadly for the people of New Zealand, that isn’t quite true. Most of the world is emerging from the corona era. Britain, thank goodness, seems to be leading the way, and even recalcitrant countries such as the Netherlands are starting to realise that if the UK is back up and running, you can’t lock down your own people forever.
    > Jacinda seems not to have got the memo. Last summer she notoriously locked down her country again after one man was found to have Covid in New Zealand. I wouldn’t have wanted to have been him. Now, even Australia, which has been one of the strictest, harshest, countries during Covid, has started to lift regulations. And New Zealand?
    >
    >
    >
    > Well, Ardern has announced yet another batch of regulations for her countrymen. New Zealand seems almost hooked on the stuff. The international media once again went doolally for Ardern when she gave a press conference announcing fresh lockdowns and saying that this meant that her own wedding was off. How much she seemed to care! How much her face crumpled as she talked of the plight of her countryfolk! How selfless she was even to cancel her own nuptials!
    >
    > What people should have said was that New Zealand’s prime minister had clearly become a mad person. There was no reason to do this performative caring. There was no reason to sacrifice the opportunity to get hitched. The rules were the problem, and getting rid of them should have been the priority.
    > Instead, everyone got swept along, yet again, on an ocean of Ardern ardour. And on it seems this will go. What will come of New Zealand? Perhaps it will remain always stuck in the summer of 2020, never allowing anyone in or out. Those of us who once went there will tell of it to our grandchildren who will listen in awe to tales of this remote island people who voluntarily cut themselves off from the rest of the world.
    >
    > Or perhaps, if some recent opinion polls are any guide, New Zealand will soon tire of its caring prime minister. Facing a mounting economic crisis, support for Ardern’s party among New Zealanders appears to be collapsing.
    > But it isn’t just Ardern who has this emoting, empathetic act. Perhaps the world leader in this shtick is someone with an even softer voice and even nicer hair: Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau.
    >
    > As time goes on it becomes clear that Trudeau really is the worst leader in the democratic world. His principal qualifications for the role were that he had been a primary school teacher and that his father had been prime minister before him.
    >
    > Other than that, he simply promised to do things differently, to be more empathetic, to emote more, to be more feminine and more understanding. Before lockdown, this manifested itself in international trips during which Justin did more costume changes than the cast of any West End show. But as the Covid era came, Trudeau, like Ardern, seemed to come into his own. He talked about the importance of caring, looking out for each other and other fundamental Canadian values.
    >
    > Unfortunately, if you do not happen to agree with the silken-haired premier, he will have zero time for you. In recent months, as the rest of the world has adapted to Covid, Trudeau seems to have boxed himself into a corner on the matter.
    > In an effort to persuade the population to get vaccinated, Trudeau did everything he could to defame those who disagreed with him. This extended to him dismissing anyone hesitant about taking the vaccine as being (guess what?) racist, misogynistic and more. Trudeau had no evidence for any of this, but this is the modern way of excommunicating any person or group of people. Say that they are racist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobes and you have successfully un-personed such people.
    > Unfortunately for Trudeau, many Canadians can see through this playground antic and are not persuaded by it. Specifically, Trudeau found that his vaccine demands had riled Canadian truckers.
    >
    > There is no special reason why truck drivers (one of the most isolating professions in the world) should have to display vaccine passports in order to do their work. But Justin decided that they had to, or their livelihoods would come to an end.
    >
    > Gloriously, last month, thousands of truckers drove in convoy to Ottawa. As they arrived there for their protest, Justin decided to pretend he had a headache. Or rather he said that he had met someone who knew someone who had once danced with someone who had Covid. And so the prime minister was doing the reasonable thing and self-isolating.
    >
    > The truckers stayed. At present they remain in Ottawa. Officials have looked into how to criminalise them. They have even looked into criminalising the thousands of Canadians who gathered at the roadsides to show their support. The Ottawa police are now actually stealing the truckers’ fuel and other necessities in an effort to make the protest go away. But the truckers aren’t budging.
    > There is no reason why Trudeau should not make peace with the truckers. Any more than Ardern should not start to walk back from isolating her island nation.
    >
    > But the problem is that when you have presented yourself as the most moral person in the land – the most feeling, the most understanding – and portrayed all your critics as Nazis, it is hard to move to ground we might once have called common. So there Justin is, like Ardern, holed up in a problem entirely of his own making.
    >
    > Empathy is an overrated trick in political leadership. It only gets you so far. Much more important are grit, capability, adaptability and expertise. Neither Ardern nor Trudeau have demonstrated any of these traits. And it is their populations who are suffering as a result. A leader might like to present themselves as limitlessly compassionate, but if you end up having neither compassion nor even understanding for the citizens of your own country, then “compassion” is the problem.

    • Alice…
I mentioned on the ‘Fact or Gossip’ thread that proving the wedding cancellation due to the omicron was an absolute lie would do immense damage to her international image. Imagine the mileage Douglas Murray, Tucker Carlson, Mark Stein etc would get out of it.

And instead of letting it rest she doubles down on more lies yesterday by saying the wedding was cancelled “30 minutes before walking down the isle”. Not a few days before when arrangements could satisfactorily be cancelled, but 30 bloody minutes. Didn’t hear that time line before had we? Only wheeled out when she thought the People were starting to forget how selfless she is.

(ps I have put in a OIA with the Civil Aviation Authority to find out if a ‘no-fly’ was requested over the wedding venue, whether it was implemented and if so when it was ceased.)

  13. Another extract from the “#safe and effective” files:

3,573 Fetal Deaths in VAERS Following COVID-19 Vaccines – 1,867% Increase Over Non-COVID Vaccines
The U.S. Government’s Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) database was updated this past Friday, February 11, 2022, and it is now reporting that there have been 1,103,893 cases of injuries and deaths following COVID-19 vaccines since December of 2020, when the FDA issued emergency use authorizations for the COVID-19 vaccines. (Source.)

By way of contrast, there were 918,856 cases of injuries and deaths following all FDA-approved vaccines for the previous 30+ years, from 1990 through November of 2020. (Source.)

So there have been more injuries and deaths recorded in VAERS during the past 14 months following COVID-19 vaccines, than there were for the previous 30+ years combined following all vaccines recorded in VAERS.

PM Jacinda Ardern on the borders, Omicron and her wedding – New Zealand Herald
          Posted: February 5, 2022 at 5:39 am

February 4 2022Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is this morning visiting Auckland’s newest vaccination centre on the city’s waterfront to promote boosters.

It has been a tough start to the year for Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, but after the rain came a shaft of sun with the announcement the borders would start to reopen.

She spoke to the Weekend Herald after that announcement about that decision, as well as the drubbing she has faced in international media, the polls, the cancellation of her wedding, MIQ and what lies ahead in the Omicron response.

Jacinda Ardern’s year began with Omicron arriving and she put the country into the red setting of the new traffic light. She cancelled her own wedding to Clarke Gayford, and became the first MP known to have to isolate under the new rules, after a flight attendant on her flight tested positive.

Ardern said that call to isolate had come on what was supposed to be her wedding day.

“In fact, I got the phone call about 30 minutes before I was scheduled to walk down the aisle.”

          She laughs.

“There was quite a discussion between Chris [Hipkins] and Grant [Robertson] about which one of them would have broken the news to me.”

“It just, it’s life. That’s all I can say.”

She and Gayford had already decided not to have the wedding if they moved to the red level.

    • Maybe the people should put a “halt” on the Government bank account. Ask those states that have already said they are against the move to set a trust account of some sort, to hold all Federal taxes and not send it to Ottawa until Trudeau backs down or better still resigns.

The other way to get back at them is to have a major labour strike like in Poland all those years ago.

BTW. Trudeau has just demonstrated the totalitarian control that the demonstrators are on about, so it really is an own goal.

What a shit place to live Sydney is. $60 a day in Tolls to get to work , $2 a litre for PETROL. Rent in Western Sydney is on average about $600 a week, 🤦‍♂️ nearly impossible to buy a decent home with the prices they are at. About 5 to 10 years ago $40 a hour use to be great money and you could live a Comfortable life but in this day and age you can’t Even support a family with that one income. One of the world’s most expensive city’s to live in and what for? There is nothing great here.

  17. A man doing market research for the Vaseline Company knocked at the door and was greeted by a young woman with three small children running around at her feet. “I’m doing some research for Vaseline. Have you ever used the product?”
She said, “Yes. My husband and I use it all the time.”
“If you don’t mind my asking,” he said, “what do you use it for?”
“We use it when we make love,” she said.
The researcher was a little taken aback. “Usually people lie to me and say they use it on a child’s bicycle chain or to help with a gate hinge. But, in fact, I know that most people do use it for sex. I admire you for your honesty. Since you’ve been so frank so far, can you tell me exactly HOW you use it?”
The woman said, “I don’t mind telling you at all. My husband and I put it on the doorknob and it keeps the kids out.”

  18. I can’t get over the amount of sheer bollocks being perpetrated in the media about the protest. Just one example, yesterday on Wet Wally’s panel Phil O’Reilly stated that the protesters were defecating on Trev’s lawn. I mean for fuck’s sake.

Meanwhile Luxon too refuses to go down and have a talk to the assembled masses. When will just one politician display some balls?

But AREN’T they actually ‘showing some balls’ by what they are doing; Lilly- white Camphor ones; those which smell to high heaven, leave a residue behind when they eventually dissolve, stain whatever they come in contact with, are poisonous and are usually-used to get rid of creatures deemed ‘undesirable’ by the users? (Such as Protestors)?

The attributes so-described do seem to be evident in the current NZ Parliament at the moment…

In other news: Calls mount for a national holiday to honour the much loved Property Prophet known as Kea. The calls come after Mr Kea endured a deluge of hate and gaslighting on the popular liberal blog YSB when warning readers of the current collapse.

Mr Kea showed tremendous bravery and perseverance in order to impart his wisdom and genius on the soon to be bankrupt property gamblers.

  26. A SCRAMBLE FOR ‘SOLID ELECTRICITY’
The aluminium price is up again today, very near its all-time record again. Aluminium is sometimes called ‘solid electricity’ because each tonne takes about 14 MWh hours of electricity to produce, enough to run a small house for about three years. Tiwai Point produces 250,000 tonnes annually when at full production and uses about uses about 15,000 MWh of electricity per day – the annual consumption of a thousand average households.

Meanwhile in the USA alcola are about to refurb and reopen a plant that was mothballed a couple of years back.

    • Who would of thought? Tens of thousands of Kiwis with vaccine “injuries”, people only vaxxed so they can earn money to feed their families & a scummy government that lies, prevaricates & spins. And they’re not lining up for another dose of poison to kill off their remaining immunity.

      Amazing!

      14

      1

      • The question is will they stand their ground when cindy gets chippy to take away vax passes of the now unvaxxed double jabbed folk?
My guess is 90% of them will fold once punative measures are used to coerce them.

        10

        1

      • That’s me. Fucked if I’m going to get a booster after being sick as a dog from the second jab. At least not until I’m forced to by the need for a vaccine passport. But as I said to Eurokiwi yesterday I detest being forced to make this decision, and none of us should have to.

        Fuck Jacinda Ardern. Fuck mandates.

        • I saw a comment on another blog, and from one who jumped up to take the booster, and the new vaccine pass came back with a reduced expiry time compared to his old vaxx pass.
I do not know how true that is, but it seems the “treadmill” of vaxxes + boosters is winding up speed.

Looking like Ardern is still full on to the path in following Trudeau, in Emergency Regulations” to bring about the set up to bring in digital banking social credit controls on your “dangerous terrrorists” bank accounts when you do not comply.

The media giving full on platforms to the likes of “top Covid-19 adviser Sir David Skegg”. plus all the other scally wag experts, modelers etc.. as they work systemically in relays and tag teams to bring this all about.

Leofric, I wish you all the best in your health, take care, and do not play Russian Roulette.
Many do not know the future, but I see a change occurring, in certain groups of people, a glimpse of that in Wellington, and also even what Kea seems to notice in his change from the city.
It will still be a long hard haul where ever you are, and old principles are to be understood, as they are unchanging.
Good health is a major treasure.
Life is not always great, but it is to be enjoyed, where ever you can find the good points.

    • Did you see the comment from Luxon, further down the Twitter thread saying he agrees with Ardern not to talk to the protesters. Why doesn’t he join the Labour Party? He has obviously had his orders from Schwab and co.

Cameron Slater said in his speech to the protesters today that Luxon was temporary leader of the Nats. I hope his right.

  28. PARLIAMENT PROTEST PRESS RELEASE – 15 FEBRUARY

We are united in demanding an end to Covid-19 mandates. Until the mandates end, we are determined to maintain our presence.

No response has been received to yesterday’s letter sent to the government seeking an urgent meeting to open dialogue. We strongly urge the government to engage – they want a solution, we want a solution.

An important milestone is that police have acknowledged our right to protest on Parliament grounds…

      • Nasska, there is a two pronged offensive underway at present.
Many unhappy Maori, including elders are presently attempting to take the Upper Marae in Waitangi.
Police are already there trying to arrest them.
The belief is Waitangi is another stronghold of the “Corporation”.
The call has gone out for anyone who couldn’t make it to Wellington to please try and get to Waitangi.
If both houses are secured, New Zealanders are in with a pretty good chance of turning things around.
