That POS Putins armed forces have destroyed the most magnificent aircraft to come out of the failed USSR, actually the entire worlds aircraft industry the Antonov 225 , for this action alone I hope the little C- -T rots in hell ,apparently it was a deliberate act as the massive hanger the plane was housed in was struck multiple times by missiles before the owners had any chance of flying it out of danger.

        Be careful from now on, youll go in with an ear infection and end up getting the prostate check and your balls fondeled.

        Ive lost pretty much all trust in doctors now, if they cant question a novel jab with proven side effects and proven ineffectiveness how the hell can i trust theyll diagnos an illness correctly or prescribe correct course of treatment.
        Unless im dying and they cant make it any worse i will avoid them like the plague.

        • My trust in Doctors has zeroed out too.

          The problem is that some things really do need timely treatment, and not be left until too late.
          Often when a problem is caught early, with correct treatment, we are fixed and survive with no further on going issues.

          The systemic system of the “new medical ethics” has made Doctors into practicing criminals.

          Fire makes a great servant, but becomes a bad master.
          It is more of a case the Doctors are fine as your servant.
          The issue is that Doctors should not be your master.

          • My trust in certain Doctors has zeroed, but in others that knew the game, and told Jacinda to “Stick the vaccine (that she herself never had) in Uranus.”, my respect has been maintained.

            I still have respect for those, that overnight were forced to make a decision to take the vaccines, or defy the mandates and have 30 staff out on the street , without no job, no income, mortgagee sales and financial carnage. Many refused to become a jab clinic, Many of these have now refused to take the boosters, taking gardening leave or hiring replacements.

            All in all, having dealt with a number of Doctors and Nurses in the last 2 years, I was never shy in subtly leaving the communication open for them to speak their mind “Off the Record”.

            Similarly I do not dis-respect most police. Just the ones that use violence without a second thought. They are probably as violent in their private lives as well.

As I started reading I was surprised that it was talking about the protest part organized by those 3 Auckland mums , that has a couple of dozen cases related to it ,not Vic uni with its 500 odd cases of covid and being the first month of uni for the year there will be VD running rampant amongst them.

In April 2018 Rissole, Mrs Rissole and Young Rissole went to Kathmandu and hiked the Himalaya (amongst the spring growth of cannabis indica teeheehee), then went to the Tarai, or lowlands, of Nepal and stayed in deep tiger and rhino jungle. Then flew over the snowy Himalaya to the brown Tibetan Plateau to Lhasa (12,000 ft). Acclimatised in Lhasa 3 days, then to Base Camp Everest (North Face) 6 days. Highest elevation 17,500 feet. (It was incredible to see antelope at this altitude and many crows in the thin frigid air. In fact Rissole was greeted at Base Camp by a crow.)

    • Been there, done that. I consider myself lucky to have been in Nepal four times from 1975 to 1987. I never went to Tibet though I very much wanted to when I was younger. I turned down an invitation to go when I worked in China in the eighties, I hate what the commie bastards have done to the country and I have too much respect for HH who I met during his first visit to London in the early seventies.
      I went to Tammanrasset in 1973 and across the desert to Djanet to see the cave paintings particularly the one of the spaceman. Truly amazing.

    • I have a cousin that plays the bagpipes but at least they lived on an isolated farm for when the dogs used to ‘sing’ along, many a good time was spent at the Caledonian Society dancing to the Gay Gordon until we did our genealogy and found out that any links to Scotland were in the mists of time, on that side of my family, that is Argyle.

      I get a catch in my throat when I hear the bagpipes at parades etc but if I had a neighbour that serenaded me with the bagpipes on a regular basis (more than once), I would be ringing noise control.

  12. Builders of the Transmission Gully motorway north of Wellington have sent a second letter to the Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency saying the road is now fit for public use.

    In December, builder CPB HEB sent a letter to Waka Kotahi in which transport engineer Jon England said the road may “safely and conveniently be used for public traffic”.

    Ensuring the road is aligned properly and that the lighting “is in good and efficient repair” for safe public use is one of the 100 safety and quality assurance tests which was required before the road can open.

    “The letter reconfirms that one of these 100 tests, which had been passed in December 2021, has been re-passed after the recent pavement and surface repairs undertaken by the Transmission Gully builder CPB HEB,” Waka Kotahi transport services manager Andrew Thackwray said.

    Power companies last year had a profit increase of an average of 60%.

    • I get an estimate from the power company each week of what they estimate I will use in the coming week. Unless there is a very icy cold snap coming this week, my power has gone up in the last week by $10.00 so $40 a month???? Bastards, who would have expected that? RT News is carrying all kinds of reports from all sides; news of American and Europe sanctions against Russia, statements from Boris Johnson, Russian and Ukrainian military operations and their results, Russian and White House press releases, worldwide economic fallout, cyber attacks and even reports of anti-war demonstrations in Moscow!

    I read from other sources that RT is being banned in different countries – but to my mind, RT is one of the most informative news sources around and far exceeds CNN BBC etc in every way.

    I’m not a cheerleader for Putin. I’m just calling it as I see it. Have a look at their stream and tell me what you think.

    • I wouldn’t jump in just yet. There is a very real possibility that it will still go lower in the next 2-3 weeks.
      The US Fed is making some announcements that might take crypto lower.
      If it goes below 28K, that’s the time to buy. Personally, I prefer the other cheaper crypto. You make more when they go up than relying on bitcoin. FYI there are over 12,000 to choose from.

      • True that Ed, i dont trust crypto and prefer shiney metals but still threw a couple grand at a few random cryptos as a punt, All in the 50cent- $1.80 range.
        My theory was id seen my brothers massive mistake (hindsight is wonderful aint it) when he sold all his bitcoin many years ago that he had mined, almost 700bitcoin and he was stoked he got a great price of…. 30cents per coin. That was back in the day when a shity graphics card on your computer could mine several bitcoin per day.
        And yes i rubbed it in big time a while back when it surpassed 90k nzd.

        A 50cent coin only has to go to $1 to double my money vs bitcoin gaining 63k to double my money. My theory is same with gold n silver hence why i heavily favour silver but still dabble in both just in case.

        Bitcoin was percieved to be a massive joke and near worthless at the start, 12k bitcoin for a pizza lol thats a damn expensive pizza at todays exchange rate.

    My brother had Covid last week. Omicron struck him and his whole family, save for one child.

    He was asymptomatic, bar a dry cough and a tickly throat. All of which he said under normal circumstances he would’ve gone to work with. It lasted 3 days, he said he wouldn’t even rank it in the top 10 of head colds. So, from where he sat, it wasn’t worth the fear and angst afforded it.
