  1. 10 years the Russians lasted in Afghanistan, My guess is they’ll be lucky to last 10 weeks in Ukraine which is Europe’s poorest Country.
Tells you a lot about the lie that is Putins Russia when their once feared armed forces are being smashed by Ukrainian soldiers that have had less than a couple of hours training on how to fire a javelin or similar shoulder fired missile , Putin is getting his arse handed to him on the pointy end of a $40,000 easily transported easily fired tank busting missile system and it couldn’t happen to a nicer murdering tyrant in my opinion despite a
the support he seems to be getting here on YSB from a few people that just seem to relish chaos and conflicf as well as mass murder no matter who is causing it.,,

    • Don’t know about that last bit Rev. Most people here are skeptical of propaganda, and there’s a lot of rubbish news that has been coming out of the Ukraine. From what I can gather, Russia is taking heavy losses, but that could be due partially to their tactics which seem to be trying to avoid widespread civilian casualties. Partially because their army was not readily ready for the invasion. I could be easily completely wrong though, but not believing the MSM who have lied to us so many times, comes easily to me. That’s not supporting Putin.

    • So rev, I am wondering where are you getting your news about this debacle from? Is it from the news sources who supplied all the information from the podium of truth which came from all the western countries? Its great if you believe them now, so many have swallowed all the information they have spouted out which turned out to be a total bullshit story to enhance their power. Is it sad or not but I cannot believe a thing the news sources tell us now after that debacle. I was known as a cynic prior to all the information on the pandemic (hahaha) and all the rest of the crap we have been dished out. So I am sorry but I am not believing anything from these sources now. And no I don’t support Putin but nor do I support Ukraine the biggest source of Hunter Biden’s funding either. I personally think the West should have kept out of the whole Russia Ukraine disagreement, NATO especially, the CIA is corrupt as is NZ police force. The west is a mad place to be living these days.

    • Sometimes the enemy is right revy, if you dont like whats happening in ukraine i hope you voiced your opposition everyday for the last decade as to the fuckery that the usa got up to there to lead to this.
      Be patient denazification takes time.

For a country thats “winning” they sure are ceeding alot of ground and losing massive amounts of troops and far more equipment then putin.
And yes mr putin knows all about javelin missles… his arsenal of them is growing everday his troops capture more and more of them as the nazi troops flee their positions and abandon their toys.

If youre that upset put your money where your mouth is, your propaganda sources have you believe ole grannies are defending their homeland and slaughtering russian troops, itll be a walk in the park for a rambo such as yourself so please sign up to the foreign legion there.
You may be the man to go take putin out 🙂

      • Stupid you are right. Russia is showing great restraint in this regrettable war. That they were forced to enter by Western backed aggressors within Ukraine.

They are achieving all strategic objectives. The Russian way.

    • Kamara, Purin has made a huge mistake in his quest to conquer Ukraine which has exposed for all the world to see Russia’s actual boots on the ground combat capabilities which have turned out to be near zero.
Without the nukes Russia is a third world military power ,unfortunately Putin gets more dangerous by the day as his armed forces get smashed by the Ukrainian forces and 1000s of untrained volunteers, so much for the “strong man ” image the short little bastard has fostered for decades, he’s no more than a school bully coward and is being exposed as such ..

      • Russia doesn’t want all of Ukraine, just the Russian populated areas along its border. A bit like the Israeli border thing.
Russia simply doesn’t want nazi’s invading it again and who can blame them.
Russia never went outside of its own territory before WW2 whe it exacted revenge for past deeds of the nazi brand which Britain and France colluded with.
Russian people are no different to you and I. They have no real desire for war but to be allowed to live their lives with enjoyment. Pity out leaders didn’t think like us.
Russins simply don’t want Nato aka known as Nazi’s building rocket sites on their border.

Ukraine should be a wealthy country. It produces plenty but it keeps getting robbed by the EU and Nato and USA via their Nazi leaders.

      • His goal is not to conquer the Ukraine. His goal is to stop the ‘insiders’ conquering and controlling the Ukraine. The ‘insiders’, those pesky Totalitarians that bought us Covid, that control oil, weapons, WHI, UN, and have tentacles in the CDC, NIH, etc etc.

Conquering the Ukraine means stopping the Russian – German pipeline, the running of Bio Weapons labs, of the type that produced Covid, “owning” the rich minerals of the Ukraine, etc.

You are not suffering from mis-information, you are suffering from an inability to line up all the information and join the dots.

When did the evil ‘insiders’ suddenly sprout halos?

Well, now we’re getting around 20 deaths per day, and she’s nowhere to be seen. Just goes to show, it’s all about political point scoring. People gonna die of something.

  3. If Mastermind ever makes a comeback I’m going to enter. My specialist subject will be “Covid rules and regulations in N.Z”. The rules are so ridiculously complex and convoluted and have changed so often nobody has any idea how they’re supposed to work. The plan is I just waffle on without really saying anything for as long as it takes, nobody will be able to say I’m wrong or contradict be because even the judges wouldn’t have a clue how it works. Even if things are going really pear shaped I just have to refute everything, obfuscate, point a bony finger, and refuse to answer the question and everyone will stop being horrible to me. It’s worked well for Cindy so far. See you all in the finals!

If you were a nurse would you let them drop those payments?
And yet, we still have nurses who declined the vax sitting at home waiting for sanity to prevail.
Wards are short staffed because 7/10 nurses are ill with Omicron?
But they’re all double jabbed and boosted so how can this be?

And in karma news: Family members who bought the bullshit are all at home with the deadly virus. (Yup, count ‘em. All of them) Healthy purebloods are not offering assistance as being call ferals and scum does affect one’s ability to give a shit.

  4. THE SINISTER THING ABOUT CO-GOVERNANCE

The term “co-governance” trips off ministerial tongues with ease but it’s clear most people don’t know what it means. Nanaia Mahuta would have us believe it simply means that Maori would be guaranteed some sort of undefined say in decision-making. Fair-minded Kiwis think that’s OK. When I was Minister of Local Government I urged local authorities to set up standing committees of local Maori which would be consulted on matters of special interest to Maori. Most complied

  5. NZ posts a record $20 billion annual current account deficit
    Tom Pullar-Strecker13:31, Mar 16 2022

New Zealand’s current account deficit blew out to a record $20.2 billion in 2021 after imports far outstripped exports in the final quarter of the year, figures released by Stats NZ show.

Westpac senior economist Nathan Penny said the deficit reflected the “hot New Zealand economy”.

“We are, at least temporarily, living beyond our means,” he said.

ANZ economist Myles Workman said the annual deficit was not unexpected but was something that credit-ratings agencies were likely to keep on eye on, as they assessed the country’s credit worthiness.

  7. So, these pricks in the media say, “No, we’re not paid by Ardern’s Government to run the Labour Government line. We are as independent as it is possible for any newspaper to possibly be.”

That is why they continually publish Labour Party acolytes to run anti National opinion pieces like this piece on the front page of the NZH by Labour lackey and major Labour brown noser and arse licker, Shane TePou.

      – Ban the sale of carbonated soft drink
      – Ban the sale of fatty meat
      – Ban the sale of white bread
      – Ban bare feet from the supermarket (Japanese would be horrified at the sight of shoeless children!)
      – Ban anyone with a BMI of over 35 from shopping

        • Think it is both Kea, those tins of corned beef the Islanders like are a killer. The issue is not having protein with meals, if they had a little protein with lunch and dinner they would be full longer and not need all the extras. I actually think Odakyu-sen is also correct, that would help, also all the sweets and chocolate for a special occasion rather than each and every day. 3 or 10 pies Wood may disagree and as would most of those in parliament at the moment, they have certainly had their fill of what ever is making them fat. Obesity is a huge issue in New Zealand. Went out to coffee this morning the obese people at the cafe (can’t say which one that is serving unjabbed) was actually unbelievable. Been at the hospital recently and the numbers of obese there are filling the hospitals so there is no room for the unwell.

    • I was going to post about that story. Everybody say hello to Comrade Robert Hamlin.

Can you imagine the size of the fuck-up it’d be? We’d all starve.

The Comrade pins his colours (particularly a bilious shade known as “Envy Green”) to his sleeve with these sentences: “What is a reasonable return? Maybe for any supermarket owner, a reasonable expectation of return might be the equivalent to winning the lottery once a career rather than once a year.”

I work directly with supermarket store owners on a regular basis. They are all good people. This cunt Hamlin wouldn’t have the foggiest clue what they go through to work their way up through the industry, and how hard they work (most of them are at the store seven days a week). Fuck him.

  8. Why do the media publicize local iwi’s “blessings” of locations where foreigners die in accidents?
For example, a British woman died in a skydiving accident over Muriwai, and the Herald carried a story about how local pagans had conducted a ceremony to calm the “evil spirits” or something to that effect.

    Whose spirit needed appeasing?

    – Why mention the ritual, other than to associate “importance” of local rituals in modern life and somehow validate them?
    – Are the Maori who lead these rituals formally qualified to do so? Have they attended and completed a recognized course run by their religious body?

If your family member died in an accident, how would you feel about members of a culture to which you have no affiliation suddenly turning up and grabbing headline news as they go through their pagan rituals. Who is benefitting? You or their publicity profile?

Why does the media go for these stories? It’s as if a big publicity and awareness-raising campaign is underway? For what purpose?

  9. Can someone tell me why the current way they are counting so called Covid deaths is not fraudulent or very close to it. The Herald has yesterday’s figures and openly say people are being tested after they have died and if positive it is recorded as a Covid death.
So the doctors were treating them for cancer or heart disease but some how Covid killed them. It is total nonsense and how the Herald can report it without questioning it, is beyond me.
    Last ditch total fear mongering.

  11. OMG, “only vaccinated people”

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2022/03/covid-19-vaccine-mandates-passes-to-become-an-employment-issue-lawyer-marie-dyhrberg.html

Speaking to AM, lawyer Marie Dyhrberg said vaccine passes and mandates will soon become a personal decision for businesses.

“I see it as more an employment issue where employers might want to keep their places safe and only have vaccinated people,” she said on Thursday.

“It will become very much a personal choice, say in restaurants, shops and so forth, as to whether they want to check – for their own staff – that people are vaccinated.”

    11

    0

    • “… that people are vaccinated.”

“Vaccinated” may not mean what you think it means.

What kind of vaccine is only effective for a couple of months? (It’s not really a vaccine but more an antibody-production-instruction serum that leaves your natural immune system bypassed and none the wiser.)

      12

    • WG, More importantly, employers will be subject to the following, which Marie has conveniently overlooked, as did her mate Cindy:

[1] An employer cannot ever give medical advice to an employee or contractor, unless:
      (a) They have a medical licence;
      (b) Have a fully paid up medical malpractice insurance;
      (c) That employee is a client of said medical practitioner.

[2] Any such ruling about employing / firing staff IS a discrimination issue, enabled by the govt’s stance on Covid, and opens up employers to two very specific risks:
      (a) That any harm that befalls an employee, based on the advice of the employer, makes the employer liable for any deaths or injuries due to the vaccines;
      (b) Opens up discrimination liability. “You are black, jew, homo, unvaxxed, etc, and therefore unclean, so you are not welcome.”

However, in either (a) or (b) there is legal precedent for the employer to have to prove that unvaxxed pose a threat, and by inference this requires the employer to prove the whole Covid / Vaccines proof. Just because some jumped up Hitler and Stazis say that blacks, jews, homos, unvaxxed etc are a threat, does not make it so. By logical and legal derivation, it also follows that a business cannot fire you because business clientele are uncomfortable by being served by a black, jew, homo, unvaxxed etc.

In effect, Dyhrberg is advocating the Govt burden of Covid proof be foisted onto the employers.

      12

      0

      • Yes, Dyhrberg was just being an opportunist spouting whatever is useful to her. A mouthpiece on a weekly TV panel.

Surely the medically ignorant govt shouldn’t have set up a nation of employers to take the fall for their inept policies. This medical quagmire falls at the feet of those policy makers. All medical decisions should only be made by an individual and their GP.

Fortifying your immune system with supplements and nutrition are banned and were talked down disparagingly by WHO at the very outset of Covid.

  16. Every night, 10 men met at a restaurant for dinner. At the end of the meal, the bill would arrive. They owed $100 for the food that they shared.

Every night they lined up in the same order at the cash register. The first four men ( one was Kea ) paid nothing at all. The fifth, grumbling about the unfairness of the situation, paid $1. The sixth man, feeling very generous, paid $3. The next three men paid $7, $12 and $18, respectively.

The last man was required to pay the remaining balance, $59. He realized that he was forced to pay for not only his own meal but the unpaid balance left by the first five men.

The 10 men were quite settled into their routine when the restaurant threw them into chaos by announcing that it was cutting its prices.

Now dinner for the 10 men would only cost $80. This clearly would not affect the first four men. They still ate for free. The fifth and sixth men both claimed their piece of the $20 right away. The fifth decided to forgo his $1 contribution. The sixth pitched in $2. The seventh man deducted $2 from his usual payment and paid $5. The eighth man paid $9. The ninth man paid $12, leaving the last man with a bill of $52.

Outside of the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings, and angry outbursts began to erupt.

The sixth man yelled, “I only got $1 out of the $20, and he got $7,” pointing at the last man.

The fifth man joined in. “Yeah! I only got $1 too. It is unfair that he got seven times more than me.”

The seventh man cried, “Why should he get $7 back when I only got $2?”

The nine men formed an outraged mob, surrounding the 10th man.

The first four men followed the lead of the others: “We didn’t get any of the $20. Where is our share?”

The nine angry men carried the 10th man up to the top of a hill and lynched him.

The next night, the nine remaining men met at the restaurant for dinner.

But when the bill came, there was no one to pay it.

Most Americans don’t realize this, but the Russians are actually offering to end the conflict if six major conditions are met…

Moxon said that from 2003 to 2012 the provider had been supporting whānau who sought home support through ACC for injuries but, through a series of management decisions, Te Kōhao Health – like other smaller organisations – had been ignored, only to be subcontracted when larger organisations needed assistance.

The flow-on effect of this treatment largely meant that Māori were being cared for by Pākehā-centric organisations that don’t have the cultural foundations to serve Māori needs the way health providers like Moxon’s could.

She used the example of Geneva Health Care in 2018.

    Well of course its racsist.

  23. Last year Cindy went to Ruatoria to encourage them to get vaccinated. Guess she poo-fingered it, coz now 22% of the population have covid.

“Omicron’s spread through Ruatoria has been rapid – with 22 per cent of the town’s population testing positive in the space of just three weeks.”

    • Cindy, along with Fauci and Gates are grim reapers aka angels of death.

Every country the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation goes into and finances vaccines ends up in deaths, and outbreaks of nearly cured diseases that the vaccines were designed to eradicate. e.g. Ebola, Polio etc. In India, Kenya, hundreds of thousands if not millions of children and teenagers crippled, sterilised and maimed.

  24. I have to say that I have my moments of extreme anger towards these clowns pushing these dangerous jabs. However it has just got personal. I have just found out that my younger brother (65) has just had a stroke. I tried to warn him but he had at least 2 jabs and was due for his 3rd. I don’t know about the 3rd as his wife was anti and he snuck off without telling her for the other 2.
There is no history in our family of early strokes and he was fit and healthy prior to the stroke.
To make matters worse he is only allowed one visitor at a time and only one in any 24hr period. (Cos covid you know).
His wife says that he is doing ok so we are hoping he is young enough and fit enough to make a good recovery.

  25. This sounds eminently reasonable to me especially when I look at the people who are virtuously screeching their support for Ukraine, I wouldn’t trust most of them any further than I could kick them.

    From President Putin’s speech today.

“I want ordinary citizens of Western states to hear me too. They are now trying to convince you that all your difficulties are the result of some hostile actions of Russia. That from your wallet you need to pay for the fight against the mythical Russian threat. It’s all a lie!

And the truth is that the problems faced by millions of people in the West are the result of years of actions by the ruling elites in the West. Their mistakes, myopia and ambitions. These elites are not thinking about how to improve the lives of their citizens, they are obsessed with their selfish interests and super profits.”

    • Who are this fifth column who make money in Russia, but whose hearts and homes are on the Riviera? The collective West who believe themselves the master race? Dropped a few clangers there. And using Revelations to spit them out lukewarm on the pavement.

  26. How low can cindy go in the polls?
Will she go lower than David Cunliffe, or will she bail?
Will angry andrew stage a coup?
They really don’t have much of an option, other than the fat fairy and he’s not going to attract voters!
    That puddle again!

  27. Deputy Mayor: “The weight of my silence has become too great. I have to speak out”

It is time. The weight of my silence has become too great. I have to speak out.

I watched in horror at what happened in parliament grounds on Wednesday March 2nd. Like most of us, I absolutely abhor violence. I saw a group of people with face coverings setting fires and throwing dangerous projectiles at police, destroying property and causing immeasurable reputational harm. As the police troll through endless videos to identify perpetrators, I hope all these people meet with the full consequences of their actions.-

There was another group there, also with face coverings, equally as violent and causing immeasurably more harm. Hundreds of them. They had riot gear, shields, pepper spray, batons and guns. And they used them. This group arrived before dawn as protestors slept. Shields already in hand. And their violence began. Destroying property, damaging vehicles, going over the top of protestors as they woke and built their line.

  28. Labour MPs on the justice select committee have blocked a hearing sought by National Party MPs on the occupation and riot at Parliament.

Parliament staff and contractors have this week continued to repair the damage caused to Parliament and its grounds by anti-vaccination and anti-mandate protesters, after a 23-day occupation ended in a fiery, violent riot earlier this month.

$4M worth of expired MMR vaccines binned last month – Reti

Dr Shane Reti and Health Minister, Andrew Little sparred in Parliament’s question time on Thursday afternoon as revelations emerged at least $4 million worth of expired MMR vaccines were destroyed last month.
    https://www.1news.co.nz/2022/03/17/4m-worth-of-expired-mmr-vaccines-binned-last-month-reti/

He said the MMR campaign was paused because by March 2021, “a vaccine was available for Covid-19 and it was important for the health system to assemble the significant workforce needed to administer that vaccination campaign which to-date has led to the administration of more than 10.8 million doses of a vaccine for that particular condition.”

Little said the MMR catch-up-campaign resumed in November 2021 but said the Covid-19 response still took priority.

  30. Dr Bryce Edwards

The Government has delayed the introduction of its fraught hate speech law reforms, and there’s strong speculation they’ll remain on ice until after the next election. In fact, they may never see the light of day again.

This is a win for those who have argued that the reforms are likely to be counterproductive, impinging on human rights, including political freedoms and speech. Although the Government’s motivation might have been good in wanting to clamp down on what people can legally say, in practice the reforms were badly thought through and would have a chilling impact on political debate.

  31. FYI

Kievan Rus (862-1242) was a medieval political federation located in modern-day Belarus, Ukraine, and part of Russia (the latter named for the Rus, a Scandinavian people). The name Kievan Rus is a modern-day (19th century) designation but has the same meaning as ‘land of the Rus,’ which is how the region was known in the Middle Ages.

The state of Kievan Rus fell to the Mongols between 1237-1242 CE, breaking the region in pieces which eventually developed into the modern states of Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine.

    • The borders of modern nations are a very poor indication of the origins, religion or language of the inhabitants. Many states have been artificially created by conquerors more interested in keeping citizens at each others throats & thus less of an external threat.

      Eg. Iraq, Croatia, Ukraine.
