  1. “The Russians are using chemical weapons” , FFS this war is like groundhog day ,next it’ll be WMDs.
And to be fair I’m sick of seeing Hollywood and the wests new “Churchill ” a comedian about 4 foot 10 inches tall that is more attracted to camera flashes than our own skinny stick insect of a PM .
Seriously will Ardern make a pop up appearance in Kiev on her next international self exposure trip ??

    • Rissole thinks that Ardern is so low in the polls and in the international limelite that she would try anything to reclaim her crown of yesteryear.

Anyway, Rissole is off to play his bagpipe. Och aye.

Tune today is ‘Clan Chattan’s Gathering’.

Clan Chattan, or ‘clan of cats’, was a confederation of smaller clans to deal militarily with the larger clans.

This tune was used in times of strife to summon the men…

      YOU TOO MacHunty!!!

    • Are the Russians using chemical weapons really? How would we know if we use the media to find these things out. Dear leader should never have gotten New Zealand involved, this is not our issue, little old New Zealand thousands of miles away, we don’t have an army, navy or an airforce to defend ourselves let alone supporting a country far far away with millions of citizens. Putin is possibly crazy??? but the Ukrainian PM is as mad as a hatter also. We sadly let these people rule our lives, and they are all bat shit crazy, look at our own dl. All are nasty narcissistic pack of bastards, each and every one of them. Why we could not continue with humanitarian aid rather than sending war assistance. Russia could wipe us off the planet in a nano second if they so chose. Seems as though the old US of A is war mongering again, and with that crazy old man supposedly in charge who knows what will happen. And this is the age of kindness.

    • Well revvy im glad you are awakening to the bullshittery of the ukrainian propaganda war.

Theyre desperate to drag the rest of the world into this conflict and now that bojo has said if its (chemical weapons) proven then the uk or other countries will likely join in against russia…. some poor bastards are about to get chemicaled by their own side just to create more propaganda and solidify the narrative.

Its a fucked world when for the last 2yrs pitin has been less communist then the west and now hes more honest then the west.

The whole world needs to back off ukraine before a muppet like bojo, biden or cindy get a nuke lobbed somewhere

While we may laugh at woke practices in the US, and the pronouncements of US politicians such as AOC, ‘Woke’ is also here in little old New Zild.

  4. “Investment in CNN+, the streaming service launched two weeks ago, is expected to be cut dramatically in response to low adoption,” reports the far-left Axios.

“The new company leadership has yet to decide the fate of CNN+. CNN’s new chief, Chris Licht, starts May 1,” the report adds.

There are only two words there that matter, and those words would be “low” and “adoption.”

To which, please allow me to add my own two words: a “tee” and a “hee.”

Now that Discover and WarnerMedia have merged into Warner Bros. Discovery, a whole new regime is in charge of CNNLOL, and if there are any adults over at the new company, CNN and the lying, violent pigs who work there are in for a reckoning.

Regardless, what could bring more joy to the hearts of righteous men everywhere than bad news for the lying, violent pigs at CNN?

What a beautiful morning this is! The sky is blue. The air is clean. A family of deer just loped through my yard, and the bluebirds are singing as they bring me breakfast on a silver tray.

Yes, now that Americans have snapped out of the media manipulation behind the war in Ukraine, CNNLOL’s ratings have slipped back to where they belong (in the toilet), and CNN+ is the very disaster we all knew it would be.

No one watches CNN. But CNN is so arrogant, so eager to pose as a force, disgraced former CNN chief Jeff Zucker still launched CNN

    https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2022/04/12/nolte-big-cuts-expected-at-flailing-cnn/?fbclid=IwAR1DHHqf_MQH-H6yLzz2FUyGZVepi6FNkfqT_lUb9l0LY9GePqz-lhfoluo

The good news is that even though we all knew CNN+ was going to fail, that foreknowledge has in no way dampened the pleasure of watching it fail. That’s what you call a win-win—that’s what you call proof of God’s love, even for a sinner like myself.

I hope that law passes so we can see what cindy does about it. Will she be more then happy to help ukraine and help those men on their merry way or will she gift everone of them a doctors note issued in bloomfields final days to say theyre all seeking medical treatment and unfit to fight?

Oh dearz cindy will be put in a predicament, support ukraine or lie…. hmmmmm tough choice for her

  6. Parliament protest: Jacinda Ardern came into contact with Covid-infected cops while thanking them

The Prime Minister was exposed to Covid-19 when she personally thanked police officers during the Parliament protests in February, internal emails have revealed.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern publicly distanced herself from the operational matters of police activity throughout the Parliament protest, which came to a fiery end last month after a 23-day occupation.

Emails provided to the Herald under the Official Information Act state that a group of police officers were visited by the Prime Minister in their allocated “muster” room in Parliament, while she was “doing the rounds of Police contingents to thank them for their work.”

The information was provided to public health officials because five of the police officers later tested positive for Covid-19, and had been infectious on February 16 when they were visited by the Prime Minister.

The exposure was later deemed to be a “casual contact”.
    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/parliament-protest-jacinda-ardern-came-into-contact-with-covid-infected-cops-while-thanking-them/ZJOBK5NLKCGP3KYLGFX43JXADY/

Well o course it was. why would they hug a corpse.

    But then>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Inquiries had indicated three of the staff were infectious prior to departing Auckland and two others had likely been infected by their colleagues.

The email also stated “the group interacted with crowds at the protest during their infectious period.”

So the protestors can rightfully say the police were infectious and spread the covid among the people peacefully going about thierday.
    Oh dear.

It’s the first time they’ve flown together, and an awkward silence between the two seems to indicate a mutual dislike.
Once they reach cruising altitude, the Jewish captain activates the auto-pilot, leans back in his seat, and mutters, ‘I don’t like Chinese.’
No rike Chinese?’ asks the copilot, ‘….why not?’
‘You people bombed Pearl Harbor, that’s why !’ angrily answers the pilot,
‘No, no,’ the co-pilot protests, ‘Chinese not bomb Peahl Hahbah! That Japanese, not Chinese.’
‘Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese… doesn’t matter, you’re all alike!’

There’s a few minutes of silence.
‘I no rike Jews either!’ the copilot suddenly announces.
‘Oh yeah, why not?’ asks the captain.
    ‘Jews sink Titanic.’
‘What? That’s insane! Jews didn’t sink the Titanic!’ exclaims the captain, ‘It was an iceberg!’

  11. Aunty Audrey’s been reading the tea leaves, and it’s not good news for Potato Williams:

Audrey Young: The three candidates who could replace Police Minister Poto Williams

There are some clear choices to replace struggling Police Minister Poto Williams if Labour has any hope of regaining control of the law and order agenda.

Ardern needs one of her best ministers, the ones with political smarts, who can think on their feet, can manage problems in a disciplined and authoritative way, and know how to dampen controversy, not fuel it.

That narrows it down to three people: Megan Woods, Chris Hipkins and Michael Wood.
They are good managers of their portfolios and they are good in the House as Wood demonstrated today in response to questions about hiccups in feebates for cars.

Woods and Hipkins are already proven fix-it ministers, having previously taken on the jobs of ministers struggling in housing and in health.

And if they offer resistance on the basis of overwork, Ardern could do worse than enlisting former Police Minister Stuart Nash.

House performance does not matter much when things are going well. But when they are not, the House acts like a sub-woofer on a struggling minister. It accentuates flaws you didn’t know were there, as Williams often illustrates.

Ardern’s professed confidence in Williams on Monday is not evidence that she will keep her in the job. All Prime Ministers must profess confidence in their ministers until the day the change is made.

It was a gamble when Ardern put Williams in there at the start of the second term, but not because of her inexperience.

Plenty of competent Police Ministers had never been a minister previously when they got the job: George Hawkins, Judith Collins and Stuart Nash, for example.

And Poto Williams had been a minister for more than a year. Towards the end of Ardern’s first term in Government, Williams was promoted in a reshuffle from Assistant Speaker to a Minister outside Cabinet, responsible for the Community and Voluntary Sector, as well as getting three associate ministerial roles.

The gamble Ardern took in giving Police to Williams was not because of her experience but because she was not a natural fit in a job.

In Labour or National, the Police portfolio has gone to people who are naturally hard-line law and order types.

Ardern clearly chose Williams precisely because she didn’t fit the stereotype. Her expertise was in community health and welfare, and tackling family violence.

For a Government that was looking for a culture change in the Police, an appointment of a social justice advocate may have made sense symbolically instead of reappointing Nash.

And Ardern possibly thought it was a portfolio that did not require much political skill because it is at arm’s length from operational matters.

But she did not foresee the dramatic changes in criminal offending, and the political flashpoint the portfolio has become where gang shootouts in broad daylight and aggravated robberies have become commonplace.

The political reality requires a rethink by Ardern.

Williams usually does okay in the first question on notice in the House and gives an adequately scripted reply. But after that, there is a sense of trepidation about how well she will go without notes – and it is usually a faltering performance as was the case today when questioned by National’s Mark Mitchell.

National has been targeting Williams as a weak minister, despite the occasional suggestion from Speaker Trevor Mallard that it could be seen as sexist or racist.

It will be more intense next year when Act makes it a focus as well. It needs a proven performer.

For an issue that will be so potent in election year, Williams’ staying put would be a big risk for Ardern, and she is almost certainly considering the alternatives.”

    12

    • If this is true – we’re screwed! Might as well get Clare Curran back.

The Reserve Bank is expected to hike the official cash rate (OCR) on Wednesday as New Zealand experiences the highest level of inflation in decades.

It’s predicting a 50 basis point increase, which would be the largest increase to the OCR since May 2000. Normally jumps to the OCR come in 0.25 basis point stages, though the central bank does make bigger moves pulling it down, such as a -1.50 basis point move during the height of the global financial crisis and -0.75 basis points at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

    • The glorification of victimhood, has quite a long way to fall yet. These are only the first crops of a long plan, incorporated globally.

People prefer their own kind. The mask, amongst things, represents our fear of the other. The fear of being infected by an outsider. A natural preference for your own tribe.

Who am I kidding. The mask signals your guilt. Your willingness to sacrifice yourself to get rid of crushing guilt. Here, take the children, just leave me alone.

This will be dealt with like the Pakistani rapes in Rotterham, England. Don’t say anything racist, or the Marxists will call you a racist racist.

      • You should try using the forecasts when you’re farming! Forecasts of apocalyptical rainfall & warnings to move stock had about a 50/50 chance of the rivers remaining warm streams of cattle piss. Then a promised period of brief showers would have sheep up to their bellies in floodwaters.

Meteorology ranks alongside necromancy & epidemiology in its uselessness & doubtful value to the society that pays for its services.

        11

        0

        • True that nasska, i swear the forecasters see it as a sick joke to torment drought stricken farmers with promises of rain.
Usually 5days out forcasts 60mm = happy hopefull farmer.
4 days out 75mm rain= farmer thinks its definately comming, orders fert.
3 days out 90mm= you farking beauty its finally gunna rain 🙂
2 days out 110mm= fark yes it cant miss, farmer applies 50k worth of fert
1 day out it drops back to 50mm= its still good, its still good

D day… 32°c and a howling norwester, the last green blade of grass shrivels and dies while the fertilizer dissolves into the atmosphere

          • We bought our property in 1992 off an old couple who failed to see that farming is a physical game which gets impossibly hard when your health fails. We got an incredible deal because with the Rogernomics inspired rural downturn there were no other buyers in sight & it was a basket case with a poor fertiliser history, fucked fences & the whole nine yards.

The one thing the old boy (who inherited the farm from his parents) did though was to keep detailed diaries of rainfall & weather events & how he reacted with stock levels & management which he passed on to me. They went back to 1951.

They were more use than any long range forecast I’ve ever seen.

If the result of his predictions last night and what I saw in my drive there and back into the darkest Waikato today and going on his past predictions and results, the guy is just a habitual liar and his predictions are not to be trusted one iota. The day was partly cloudy or sunny.

If a farmer or fisherman had to rely on this arsehole for their livelihood, wellbeing and life, then all I can say is they would be in mortal danger.

The man is just an animated fool with no skills.

    • I am serioously pissed off at the lack of rain. I was hoping to fill my tanks. Fuck all and less than fuck all but the experts were predicting heavy rain and mayhem. Their forecasts must come out of the same bunch that do vaccine safety data….

    • More ppl then you realise will start to get affected by interest rate pressures both direct and indirectly.

For example do you work in private sector kea or do you get paid with tax/ratepayer dollars?
If youre not a scummy state sector employee then the business you work for likely has debt… large debt, debt= interest and hence youre now indirectly exposed to it.
Most bussinesses also operate in a “last on first off” policy when things get tough… hope someone else has been employed there since you moved down from welly 🙂

Good to see muppets still out ticking shit up flat out tho, i love watching muppets live well beyond their means even tho theres practically a giant flashing neon sign screaming economic carnage ahead… and ive got even dumber mates looking at buying severely overpriced houses. I tried telling them but they aint listening, FOMO is ruling their lives right now.

Support for Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern among small businesses has dropped 15 points as National leader Christopher Luxon soars.

The latest MYOB Business Monitor survey of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) shows 25 percent support for Ardern, down from 40 percent in September. Support for Luxon, the former CEO of Air New Zealand, is at 42 percent, followed by ACT leader David Seymour at 9 percent.

MYOB’s Jo Tozer said the big drop in support for Ardern is reflected in the 60 percent dissatisfaction with the Government’s performance over the last 12 months, including 35 percent who were very disappointed.

  26. It seems that this very tricky little virus has morphed again under the orange traffic light. It no longer frequents nightclubs, so mask wearing is not required. Still frequents supermarkets and other retail shops so keep wearing the mask there or you will catch the dreaded lurgy.
The sad thing is that so many morons still buy into it.

  27. Brain drain on it’s way.

From AIR NZ “From 14 April, you’ll no longer be required to show proof of vaccination or negative test to fly around NZ, & from 1 May 2022, we will remove the no jab, no fly policy for international flights.”

    • Air NZ had the most enthusiastic Nazi mask enforcers of them all. I’d part the sea before I fly with them. Can’t wait for her wings to be clipped and the heavy loans take it to the bottom of the pacific.

  28. Air NZ email just received-
“From 14 April 2022, you will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination or negative test to fly around New Zealand, and from 1 May 2022, we will remove the no jab, no fly policy for international flights. It’s important to note international visitors will still need to meet the relevant Government entry requirements.”

Too late for any business from me.

    • Used to be a regular “Gold Card” Air New Zealand flyer. Then they devalued my accumulated airports three times and finally converted them to worthless “air dollars.” That was the last time I flew Air New Zealand. 12 years ago. Now fly for the cheapest fares I can find, Screw Air New Zealand.
