Now here is a bear that can shake things up.
He can cause others to go to Canada, or even leave twitter. 🙂

Donald Trump: ‘The world is going to be blown to pieces’
    https://youtu.be/zOXezcmXLgM
    2 mins 18 secs : Apr 26, 2022 : SkyNews Australia.

Former US President Donald Trump says the world is going to be “blown to pieces” if America doesn’t get some “smart leadership”.

Mr Trump issued the chilling warning during an interview with Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.

“We have stupid people now running our country,” Mr Trump said.

“Our country’s in trouble – something has to happen.

“If it doesn’t happen, and if we don’t have smart leadership, you’re going to end up with no world – the world is going to be blown to pieces.”

Piers Morgan says, “How am I not real?”
Proved to be totally on the mark at the start of that clip 🙂

  2. Morning Troopers,

Well this is a tad unfortunate. I’m looking forward to Robbo and Orr’s bout of pistols at dawn.

Robert MacCulloch: The case against the Reserve Bank and the Finance Minister
    “OPINION

The Reserve Bank has a formal objective to keep inflation in the range of one to three percentage points, as specified by the Remit for the Monetary Policy Committee, which was signed and “agreed by” the Governor and Finance Minister.

This range constitutes the official definition of “maintaining stability in the general level of prices” in the RBNZ Act. However, both signatories to the remit have gone and wilfully ripped up their sworn aim.
Let’s build the prosecution’s case. Exhibit A is that the defendants already admit it. At the last meeting of the Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), members confessed that “annual consumer price inflation is expected to peak around 7 per cent in the first half of 2022”.

Are the shocks hitting us short to medium term? No.

The bank says, “A broad range of indicators are highlighting … ongoing inflation pressures.”

Has the misconduct of monetary policy, which has been inciting the inflationary breach, ended? No. The bank says that the Official Cash Rate (OCR) “is stimulatory at its current level”.

Not only has NZ’s inflation target been ignored, but those responsible for achieving it are still pouring gasoline on the fire.

Exhibit B comes from Professor John Taylor, inventor of the “Taylor Rule”. That rule is a simple formula explaining how a Central Bank can quell an inflationary shock. It has proved a robust guideline when setting Official Cash Rates around the world.

The rule states that an increase in the OCR of more than one percentage point is required when inflation increases by one percentage point. The reason is to ensure that real interest rates go up to reduce borrowing.

Without a rise in real rates, debt-financed spending can continue to fuel inflation.

So what’s been going on in NZ? Annual inflation, measured at March 2021, was 1.5 per cent. Annual inflation at March 2022 was 6.9 per cent. In other words, inflation has risen by more than five percentage points this past year.

However, the RBNZ has only increased the OCR by a little over one percentage point over the same period, sending short-term real rates deeply negative.

The Taylor Rule is powerful evidence that there has been no intention, whatsoever, of our authorities to meet their obligation of keeping inflation on target.

Exhibit C is NZ’s record-low unemployment rate, which stands at 3.2 per cent.

Unemployment sharply increasing would have been a justification for holding back on steep hikes in the OCR to contain inflation. Yet the MPC says “employment is above its maximum sustainable level”.

In their defence, the Governor of the RBNZ and Finance Minister have claimed others are doing the same.

“Global consumer price inflation is high, well above most central banks’ targets”, argues the Monetary Policy Committee.

Attempts to present the situation abroad as being the same as in NZ are misleading.

Although the US Federal Reserve also has a mandate of “stable prices”, these words are not defined in terms of an inflation target that has ever been “agreed” by the Fed Chair and US Treasury Secretary.

For most of its history, the Fed baulked at providing even its own internal definition.

A target did emerge when Ben Bernanke was chairman but the Fed subsequently changed it into one that was intentionally vague and ambiguous. Targets are not all alike, contrary to the MPCs insinuation.

In stark contrast, our RBNZ has no discretion to play around with the meaning of price stability. The point of the explicit inflation target signed off between the RBNZ Governor and Finance Minister has been to “provide a clear agreement between policymakers, thereby limiting the scope for discretionary policy actions”, to quote Adrian Orr, writing for OECD Policy Studies in 1994.

So what has been driving OCR decisions? Populism.

After keeping the cash rate so low for so long and embarking on a $53 billion Quantitative Easing (QE) programme, the bank is now in panic mode. It is panicking at the prospect of a full-on policy reversal that will highlight past mistakes and provoke widespread debt distress.

Those having trouble paying back their mortgages in the next few years can blame our RBNZ Governor and Finance Minister. They encouraged a borrowing binge to buy houses at wildly inflated prices, financed by dirt cheap credit, turning a blind eye to the breach of the target to which they mutually agreed and not learning the lessons of the Global Financial Crisis in 2008.

The RBNZ was once lauded around the world for making NZ exceptional. It pioneered inflation targeting. We became the gold standard of monetary credibility.

Now our hard-fought success and huge reputation built up over 30 years lie in ruins.

Exhibits A, B and C reveal how the RBNZ and Finance Minister have overseen the trashing of their “agreed” inflation target.

The official defence is that other Central Banks are just as bad. That’s not true. Not one of them operates under the same laws as ours.

The US Fed Chairman and Treasury Secretary have not broken any agreement. By comparison, our RBNZ Governor and Finance Minister have driven a truck through the single most important agreement underpinning our economic security since 1989.

    • “Exhibit C is NZ’s record-low unemployment rate, which stands at 3.2 per cent.” With the manipulating in a clever or unscrupulous way (thanks Oxford) I would think these figures are total crap in reality and do not reflect the ever increasing cost of social welfare in New Zealand.

    • Looks like I am wrong, in that the quarterly inflation of 6.9% was for a quarter, when now I see it as been worked out into an annualized figure..

….. Annual inflation, measured at March 2021, was 1.5 per cent.
Annual inflation at March 2022 was 6.9 per cent. …

In some ways I am pleased to see that the quarterly figure is reworked to annual, so the 20+ % I have mentioned in other comments of mine are wrong, so my apologies for getting that wrong and spreading dis-mis-information.

From my political perspective, though I in paying for some other products, the 20% increase seemed more than plausible. 🙂

Just as the Ardern’s agenda drove through the economic security :—

RBNZ Governor and Finance Minister have driven a truck through the single most important agreement underpinning our economic security since 1989.“

So Ardern drives through out “Bill of Rights” with setting up mandatory unproven vaxxes.
With equal suffrage, so now Democracy is being re-worked for other diverse claims.

  3. I enjoy watching the cycling on Sky of various tour races around Europe. Watching last night the commentators talked about the number of cyclists that have been suffering from repeated viral illnesses among the peloton riders from the various teams – George Bennett N.Z is one, has been getting sick for a few months now, recovers then comes down again with another one.
AS an armchair “expert” how about all their immune systems are compromised with vaccinations and boosters and with the continual close contact amongst all the varying teams with lots of different contact points there is a continuing petri dish of various combinations waiting to infect.
As an aside I notice that two professional cyclists have died in their sleep, on March 9th & 14th, while an Italian rider crossed the finish line after riding the first stage of the Volta a Catalunya in Spain on Monday, March 21. He suddenly collapsed. It was reported that he suffered from cardiac arrest. Medical staff got his heart going again with a defibrillator.

Too often I reminded of the villainous “Exterminate, exterminate” Daleks of the Doctor Who’s television series.

genetically modified several Kaleds into squid-like life-forms he called Daleks, removing “weaknesses” such as mercy and sympathy while increasing aggression and survival-instinct.
He then integrated them with tank-like robotic shells equipped with advanced technology based on the same life-support system ….
…. His creations became intent on dominating the universe country by enslaving or purging all “inferior” non-Dalek life. …

    • You’re a crackup Kea, but you’re at risk of being as disingenuous as our esteemed MSM, cherry picking quotes to suit the narrative. How about this quote from the same – “It’s important to acknowledge there are still [price] increases at the national level,” or this – “However, if unemployment stays low, we don’t anticipate significant or widespread falls in property values,” or this – “He characterised current market conditions as a slowdown rather than a serious downturn.”

As has been pointed out, buy & sell in the same market then the state of that market is irrelevant. I think it’s also fair to say that those who indebt themselves to buy anything without an adequate failsafe will suffer badly if financial markets turn against them, and it’s inevitable some carnage is coming. What will be interesting to see though, is if the banks and lenders follow the early 90’s rash of mortgagee sales, or find another mechanism to preserve their asset. Perhaps a visit to the WEF website & reviewing property ownership within The Great Reset may be enlightening?

Djokovic can play at Wimbledon, no vaccination required

Novak Djokovic will be allowed to defend his title at Wimbledon, despite not being vaccinated against Covid-19, because the shots are not required to enter Britain, All England Club chief executive Sally Bolton said overnight.

During the annual spring briefing ahead of Wimbledon, which starts on June 27, Bolton said that “whilst, of course, it is encouraged” that all players get vaccinated, “it will not be a condition of entry to compete” at the grass-court Grand Slam tournament this year.

mRNA vaccines promote sustained synthesis of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein

The spike protein is neurotoxic, and it impairs DNA repair mechanisms.

Suppression of type I interferon responses results in impaired innate immunity.

The mRNA vaccines potentially cause increased risk to infectious diseases and cancer.

Codon optimization results in G-rich mRNA that has unpredictable complex effects.

    Abstract

The mRNA SARS-CoV-2 vaccines were brought to market in response to the public health crises of Covid-19. The utilization of mRNA vaccines in the context of infectious disease has no precedent. The many alterations in the vaccine mRNA hide the mRNA from cellular defenses and promote a longer biological half-life and high production of spike protein. However, the immune response to the vaccine is very different from that to a SARS-CoV-2 infection. In this paper, we present evidence that vaccination induces a profound impairment in type I interferon signaling, which has diverse adverse consequences to human health. Immune cells that have taken up the vaccine nanoparticles release into circulation large numbers of exosomes containing spike protein along with critical microRNAs that induce a signaling response in recipient cells at distant sites. We also identify potential profound disturbances in regulatory control of protein synthesis and cancer surveillance. These disturbances potentially have a causal link to neurodegenerative disease, myocarditis, immune thrombocytopenia, Bell’s palsy, liver disease, impaired adaptive immunity, impaired DNA damage response and tumorigenesis. We show evidence from the VAERS database supporting our hypothesis. We believe a comprehensive risk/benefit assessment of the mRNA vaccines questions them as positive contributors to public health.
    ——————–
“The mRNA vaccines manufactured by Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna have been viewed as an essential aspect of our efforts to control the spread of COVID-19. Countries around the globe have been aggressively promoting massive vaccination programs with the hope that such efforts might finally curtail the ongoing pandemic and restore normalcy. Governments are reticent to consider the possibility that these injections might cause harm in unexpected ways, and especially that such harm might even surpass the benefits achieved in protection from severe disease.”

A friend sent me this comment:
“Put basically, the jab plus a booster gives you full blown AIDS, so you will be susceptible to and colds etc in the coming winter – Lots more deaths to chalk up to the Eugenics part of Agenda 2030 – which has as one of its aims the genocide of the world’s population from about 7.8 billion down to under a billion – i.e. 7 billion people have to be murdered legally by the “cure” for the plandemic.
Anyone going to hospital for an operation and receiving blood – even just a small amount – will get AIDS from it – – mission going very well, thank you. “

Christopher Luxon is criticising the Government’s investigation into how much tax top earners are paying, saying New Zealand already has a fair, progressive system.

On Tuesday, Revenue Minister David Parker announced the Government is gathering information on tax intake, specifically for New Zealand’s wealthiest people.

“It feels like he’s [Parker] on a bit of an expedition to try and dream up new taxes and new things in order to get their taxes up so they can cover their high level of spending.”

      • Cgt, death/inheritance taxes its obvious their intentions and its all gunna get funneled back to brown and poor people with no net gain to the country.

Most decent ppl wouldnt have a problem with tax if it didnt get frittered on stupid shit or just handed to lazy scum that dont wanna work.

        12

        0

        • But they live the life of ‘frittering’ away, just look at those ‘artistic’ tattoos.. so they do not call the government to account for ‘frittering’.
The belief that money should be circulated as soon as possible.

The voting ‘poor’ ones who do not pay tax, except gst which can be compensated for with working for working for families tax set offs, benefits, plus accommodation allowances.

Almost all would vote for socialist policies,
As a majority they have no problem where the money is spent for no return, as they accept the government does that for everyone’s good & knows best. 🙁

Note, they do not receive any gain from inflation on an asset.

Already they practice, “you will own nothing” to be ‘wealth taxed’.
The “and you will be happy” is the belief is they will be happy when they receive much more dosh which they deserve.

      • Ryan also interviewed this morning a tax expert but they haven’t loaded that video. He stated the tax loopholes have been closed by tightening laws over the past 20 years so everyone (including both individual rich and corporates) are paying the required tax on income as required under the law.

It is their asset gains Parker will be after. A wealth tax of some sort.

        11

        0

        • Thats a scary scenario S1, they create emergencies to keep emergency powers so no doubt they would encourage inflation in order to raise tax revenue.

Imo years ago they shouldve just put their foot down and subjected housing to gst… both buying/ selling and also rent.
Gst is a value add tax, so sale price minus purchase price and any maintance/improvement costs = taxable portion.

A cgt dosent take into account the home owner has spent x amount on their property to increase its value so in effect its a double whammy.
Who the hell would spend 100k+ of already taxxed income to renovate a house to get taxxed on that improvement later on when they sell?

          7

          0

    • Shit, Parker’s a disingenuous wanker. “We’re just working out how much tax the rich pricks are paying. We’re not planning on an more taxes”.

It is really important they get under 12 jabbed, they cannot get the drug approved without this.

  9. I downloaded the xls spreadsheet from the Ministry of Health and crunched some figures
Last week they managed to jab 13,911 total in 7 days.
The life of this experimental drug is 6 months.
So from 30 January to 17 April they managed to jab 1.583 million
In their jab purchases over same period they purchased 3,305,290 jabs
they had at least 1,722,241 jabs surplus as of 17 April. from that period.
If they continue to jab at same rate, will take 125 weeks to deplete this stock.
The 3.34% wastage is going to look like a tiny pimple in the scheme of things unless they up the jab rate dramatically.
You cannot accurately read how many they say they have in stock but it is North of 3.5 Million
there latest daily jab figures are a miniscule 355.
Yesterday they announce they are buying more supplies from a Nordic country, what are they going to do with all this unused unwanted shit.
Number of purchases become virtually irrelevant when you have an expiry date and no uptake, there is going to be a massive bill for much that will be thrown away and depending on the agreement, it will just keep coming regardless.

New personalised mask exemption cards on the way

From the end of May, people with “genuine reasons” for why they can’t wear a face mask will be able to get a personalised exemption card that holds legal standing, the Government says.

I guess the bitching ones who are forced to wear a face nappy, are unhappy to see so many not wearing one.

      16

      0

    • I haven’t bothered to read the link, sorry, but I can tell you exactly what the Fascists will be pushing for.

      1. The exemption will be ‘personalised’ by a QR code which will have to be carried at all times and shown in order to enter shops, malls etc without a mask. The QR code will carry your name and DOB etc.

      2. A law will be brought out which will force all businesses, shops, malls and public facilities to scan anyone not wearing a nappy over their face.

      3. All existing exemption cards will become null and void and non-compliance on the part of businesses which allow unmasked people in without scanning will incur heavy fines.

This is the next stage towards forcing everybody to carry electronic ID at all times. This is their goal.

The horsefaced cunt and her minions don’t give a fuck about the actual mask exemptions. That’s not the point. Their aim is to link every single person into a digital ID and this is just another step on the way.

And she bravely ignored the treasury and reserve bank’s advice to do so. She publicly admitted she did it to stop house prices falling. 100% transparency.

    What a gal 😐

      Christchurch property still undervalued.

“He added: “People still have the fear that someone will come in from Auckland and out-bid them.”
Last week, Bayleys agent Adam Heazlewood sold a renovated turn-of-the-century house with outdoor pool for $3.25m at auction.
The five-bedrom property on Knowles Street, Merivale, had an RV of $2.22m, but Heazlewood said bidders had ignored that number. “It’s a great price. Anything over $3m was ideal,” he said.” The market is still pumping along” .

“It’s a great price. Anything over $3m was ideal,” [and] ” The market is still pumping along” merely translates as ‘I got my Commission from even more fools again this week, and will do-so again next week; Didn’t I do well and aren’t I just SOOOOO clever.’.

It has absolutely NOTHING to do with ‘Care and concern’ for the ‘customer’. and everything about naked self-interest.

‘It’s not an accident that they’ve come for Churchill because the activists of the far-left, the Marxists and others, all know that if you take out Churchill, you take out Britishness.’

Author Douglas Murray tells Dan Wootton why leftist activists vilify ‘dead white males.’

The cultural revolution and how we must fight back on these issues.
Noting the recent street name changes in New Zealand, plus much more.
We are NOt guilty of what we are accused of. …… so we should not be cowed.
So many good points that Doug Murray brings up. 🙂

    • Well done to the group. It explains why the Govt. dropped the requirements –they knew they would lose or they knew the system was built on BS.
BTW. Chris Bishop is a hypocrite saying what he said in the article.

        • It was on a VFF link but here is what Andrea had to say

” I spoke with Chris Bishop (National MP) at his office and we discussed the protest, I told him I was there, I visited everyday that I could and worked in the food tent and that I was there on the last day I saw it all – He said to me that they realise that someone should of come out and spoken on the first day, he even went as far to tell me that he had friends that were at the protest. I said to him you lost your opportunity right there to speak to thousands of potential voters. I think we need to remember No matter what a investigation report says we were there, we saw on the videos we know what happened nothing can change that.”

  15. Denmark, which in February lifted all curbs related to the coronavirus pandemic, said Tuesday it was suspending its widespread Covid-19 vaccination campaign.

Noting that the epidemic was under control and that vaccination levels were high, the Danish Health Authority said the country was in a “good position.”

“Therefore, we are winding down the mass vaccination program against Covid-19,” said Bolette Soborg, director of the authority’s department of infectious diseases.

Around 81 percent of Denmark’s 5.8 million inhabitants have received two doses of the vaccine and 61.6 percent have also received a booster.

  17. A good article about the food shortage issue and also some good comments.

    https://off-guardian.org/2022/04/25/5-signs-they-are-creating-a-food-crisis/

    Part of one comment ;

“It’s very simple how you clear up the food crisis:

1.Ban all those on salaries/income of > $100,000 a year from ever eating meat, ever again.
    2. Ban those same self people from travelling more than 30 miles from home, ever again.
    3. Ban all of those people who imposed lockdowns from eating anything but Bill Gates’ insect food.
    4. Confiscate $2.5bn from every single > $10 billionaire world wide.
As soon as the instigators of the food crisis are the only ones who suffer, the crisis will be over.

      • Im suprised the feds let Bernadette publish that, they scolded her over her anti vax/ freedom stance and prevented her from attending any meetings and events. The feds themselves have their heads in the sand more then the govt, id go as far to say theyre very complicit in the assault on farming and food supply.
Farmers are morons if they think the feds, dairy nz, beef n lamb are on their side, all those organisations have become are just a tool of the govt to soften the blow to farmers and change their opinion so they accept the govts narrative.

Learn to grow veges, get buddies with a farmer or 2 so you can get down on homekill meat and stock up on basic ingredients that have good shelf life.
Dont be one of those idiots panic buying when the realisation hits home and its too late.

        • In this I’m in agreement. Federated Farmers is an old boys club for semi retired, succession landed gentry & has as much relevancy to grassroots farming as it does to coal mining.

Real cockies have too much on their plates trying to pay the bills to get overly involved in agricultural politics.

I have been amazed at the pathetic response of those organisations you mention to this government and all the rules and regulations they have introduced .In particular the response to the fraudulent climate change measures has been a real capitulation.
Jamie McKay has also been too pathetic and strikes me as a non thinker.Such a shame when he has had a platform to take it to these marxists.

    • There is plenty of food. So much that they can cut off the worlds biggest exporter of grains and fertiliser. So much here in nz we can afford to see farmers as the enemy.

      Anyways, those ideas will work.

  18. This Should Not Be Happening
    From the dentist’s chair

Last week, on Monday, a mother I have treated for a number of years started telling me about her 9 years old son complaining of chest pains, breathlessness, constant tiredness and his heart feeling funny. He was undergoing multiple tests from the doctor and hospital, including bloods and ECG, and the whole family was feeling worried and traumatised. There was no previous medical history. They only got him jabbed so he could keep doing his sport.

The IPCA investigation into the Wellington protest costing tax payers $3.5m is an astonishing waste of money and a political cover up.

The scope of the investigation does not include any inquiry into Trevor Mallard & his disgraceful and juvenile behaviour – including turning cold sprinklers on children & blasting loud music.

This needs an inquiry into political influence & interference – not just into police.

The false narrative being pushed by the govt that this is an independent inquiry – but it is nothing but an obfuscation of the total truth and transparency.

The guy is no fool and would just LOVE to be the PM, and the way things are going, it is just possible that that may occur, especiallyt if he is ‘Summoned by a Grateful populace’ to come out of retirement….

The Government is promising more support for older people who want to work for longer amidst the cost of living crisis, maintaining cash flow is more important now than ever.

Ninety-one-year-old Allan has been working at Bunnings for 17 years.

Allan is one of the increasing number of older workers in Aotearoa, which is why the Government has developed a plan to better support New Zealand’s senior staffers.

“[The] perception that older workers can’t do it or won’t want to work the hours, people need to be given the chance to see what they can do,” Seniors Minister Dr Ayesha Verrall said.

Tbh its just a load of crap and an excuse to spend 10s of millions of farmers money so the office folk dont have to move from the city.

  24. Tradies beware – change to tax rules could bite small business

Tax officials are proposing changes which would increase the tax burden on a lot of small businesses.

They would greatly expand the scope of a relatively obscure part of the tax laws — the personal services income attribution rule.

It was introduced 20 years ago to deal with cases where people who are in substance employees, set up a company to sell their services to a single client — often the Government — so as to be taxed at the company rate rather than their personal marginal rate.

This was after the previous Labour Government introduced a new top personal income tax rate of 39 per cent, increasing the incentive to arbitrage off the difference between it and the company rate. It is an issue which has arisen again, with the reintroduction of a top rate of 39 per cent on income above $180,000.
