    • Damn right its a public service that should be upheld how can you be expected to run from a knife attack if you have to dodge shit all over the ground, all part of living in the big diverse city eh Sadiq

      • The very idea that some people in this world think crapping on a public street is OK! Should that be a vetting question for gimmegrants? Do you shit on the street? “why, Yes!” OUT! OUT! you go! Declined!

        • It’s fine…so long as you wipe your bum with your left hand. Defecating in public whilst wiping your bum with your right hand is the height of disgusting OTOH.

          • That’s why the muzzies cut of the left hand.
So you have to eat and wipe your arse with the same one!

Still, London is not unique in the Western world; plenty of cities in California are having the same problem with shit.

  1. What does it take to get a new political party off the ground and up into 4 or 5% in the polls
    Some good policies
    A charismatic leader?
    Good marketing.
    Hi profile on tv.

    What do you think?

    • A media that will give them oxygen would be a good start Dig and thats not going to happen any time soon as they continue their obsession with the mad queen and the squirrel

      • Actually, I don’t think the media is biased.

One big problem is that the opposition is terribly weak on policy (they believe in climate change, they support gun confiscation, they have nothing to say on freedom of speech etc).

The bigger problem, however, is that their leader is a piss poor communicator and he’s as boring as fuck. Also there seems to be nobody in his party who is much better.

Ardern is a destructive force the like of which we haven’t seen in our country before…. but she has a qualification in ‘communication studies’ and she’s using it to the full. Who do you think the media are going to pay attention to?

Stop blaming the media and face the facts. Our country is being destroyed and, with the exception of a few blogs like this, there’s virtually no opposition.

There is some hope, though, on some radio programmes from Magic Talk…. so let’s get our voices heard, eh?

        • Bridges is a former public service lawyer from provincial NZ.
He has a speech impediment and his wife is an immigrant who used to work in lefty filthland- the BBC.

Bridges agrees pretty much on everything the COL proposes and disagrees with much of what his alleged partners- ACT- proposes.
Judith Collins- the only other one as a possible, maybe, far off, contender for L.L. Leader – also agrees with much of the COL says and also attacks the leader of ACT when he called out the spiteful, misleading (at best), white-man-hating Iranian tart.

Labour Lite are not an opposition.
None of them will remember Muldoon in opposition. He was merciless.
Rightly so. The 1972 to 1975 Labour Govt was the last one to be this lefty.

Soimons Softies are the agreement crowd.
They are essentially cheerleaders for Labour > given they are Labour Lite, why would they not be.

Jim Anderton created New Labour and was further away from Labour than Labour Lite is today.

      • Absolutely! And this answers waikatogirl’s concerns above. First, catch their bloody attention -so a spot of charisma helps enormously when you’re trying to get the public’s attention!

        • A charismatic leader would help. The MSM may have hated John Key but they couldn’t ignore him. Some policies that set them apart from the CoL wouldn’t go amiss.

          • Easy Kea. Approximately 72% of Kiwi’s are in favour of assisted suicide. When David Seymour’s End of Life Choice bill was recently voted on National MPs were 37 to 18 against.

Had their votes been proportionate with the opinion of the electorate the fors & antis would have been reversed…..about a 40 for 15 against split.

  2. Some well paid Chicago Teachers Union enjoying their time in Venezuela.
“communes make society less individualistic since groups of people are working together to decide their needs and how to work collectively towards solutions”
    IN VENEZUELA DELEGATION 2019

  3. I`m feeling optimistic this morning and wondering if Winny the Shit has done us all a favour by selecting the worlds most useless plastic politician as PM.

  4. What should we do with Genter and her virtue signalling?
She is always banging on about red meat, climate change, electric vehicles and judderbars.
Should we attack her in the press, blogs and via email or
Let her carry on and eventually annoy everyone ,so much, so that it becomes the COL’s Shower head moment

    0

  5. Trump is sticking it to China. More tarrifs
China is not do anything, probably waiting and hoping that the next election will have a new president.
So I am very pleased that Trump is getting tough on China.
    They manipulate their currency.
    Rip off western technology
And yet keep their imports down.

        0

        0

      • However, those increases will have a impact on pricing to the end users.

One thing I like about tariffs is that they can lead to an increase in production within the country. “Protected” industry may be outdated but we are faced with unemployment due to our lazy and unskilled workforce not wanting to work in low paying jobs.

        0

        0

        • Not to mention differences in health and safety law and environmental protection law.

If your trading with a country that doesn’t take care of its people and environment, and you do, it makes sense to put tariffs on their products to level the playing field.

          0

    • At present it takes 1.3 Billion Chinese to produce 80% of what 300 Million Yanks make so it may take quite some time before China becomes the biggest world economy. And then theres the problem with losing most of Chinas Pigs to disease a growing water / food production crisis, trouble in Hong Kong, two Banks in liquidation and another 10 or more on death row and Xi Ping is fighting the Don and pissing off most of his neighbours in the S China Sea so he’s going to need a shipload of luck to stay afloat. Understand China does not like losing face but the West is more interested in reaching a compromise that gives all a win and use resources to benefit the population rather than stoke elites ego’s. A great opportunity for NZ to be the honest broker but this collection of Beehive clowns don’t understand the meaning of Honesty, Transparency and letting people make their own decisions without interference from bureaucrats who only skill is polishing their chairs with their amply arses. Come back – John/Bill/Stephen all is forgiven if you actually did anything wrong.

      • Perhaps I live in an echo chamber, but in my social circles there has been an increased attitude towards supporting local and a growing avoidance of cheap Chinese crap. Granted the Chinese could adapt if this was a genuine growing tend and increase the quality of their goods. But I’ll always avoid buying almost anything made in China when I can.

      • Their “chief censor” seems to be doing a fine job, and so there are very few, that is dissendents, expressing that there is a problem. 🙁

The first part is to call it out.
Then full on open debate, discussion, to open up all the points, like immigration, open borders etc..

The police don’t understand why these criminals are using grenades in these attacks because it is illegal to possess and use grenades in the Netherlands. And because of extreme political correctness, the police are not allowed to publicly acknowledge that all of these attacks were carried out by Arabs, which makes it very difficult to investigate these crimes. …..

…… Dutch news, you’d be amazed at how often there are explosions reported in the news — it’s literally become a routine news item, and nobody dares notice it for fear of being called a racist. And the authorities have no plan to curb this crime wave because that would be seen as “targeting” or “racially profiling” Muslims, and clearly the Dutch people would rather disappear from the pages of history than be called “racists”

Obviously need an amnesty with “buyback” meetings.
That will easily solve it. 🙂

Keep the islamic manifestos hidden and/or obtuse, to be buried with “well being” “kindness” “welcome refugee” as guided by the “chief censors” “human rights commissioners” with great knowledge from academia, media and politicians,

      • No enforcement about niqabs or burkas.
Still the police are ok with “citizen’s arrests” 🙂
Sounds like a risk of full on riots.

fatally undermined after police said its enforcement was not a priority and signalled their discomfort with the idea that veiled women could be put off from entering a police station to make unrelated complaints. ….
…..“This means that if a person wearing a burqa or a niqab is challenged trying to use a service, our staff will have no police backup to adjudicate on what they should do. It is not up to transport workers to impose the law and hand out fines.”….
….. With confusion reigning, an editorial in the conservative Algemeen Dagblad newspaper caused an uproar by suggesting that those “bothered” by the wearing of the prohibited clothing could make a citizen’s arrest, a position confirmed by the national police on Twitter. …. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/aug/01/dutch-police-signal-unwillingness-enforce-new-burqa-ban

          • Can’t afford it I’m afraid old chap. Lots of guns to buy from the law abiding (road deaths are SO much less important) and all sorts of other hugely costly legislation to put in place to make Cindy look good at the UN. Government is all about priorities, priorities, priorities!

            0

            0

      • You say
“As long as all the tax goes on roads”
Well it does not… and I do mind.

Look at the roads scrapped around Wellington- The No 57/Haywards improvement; the Melling interchange; the Petone to Tawa Road; the North of Peka Paka road.

The road/fuel taxes have been hijacked for other things.
Sadly this has a precedent as this was done from 1975 to 2005.
Thirty years of neglect, not 9 years.

I say- if you are not going to build the roads then reduce the tax.
With Twat Twyford and the Crazy Californian in charge of this the future looks dull.

      • I read today that life jackets for water sports users to borrow are being funded from fuel excise, or road tax, call it what you will. It is being taken from road users for a life jacket loan plan. That would be scratching the bottom of the integrity barrel.

  10. Kamala “Heels up” Harris gets crucified by hottie Tulsi Gabbard

Funny how what goes around comes around. Last week it was “Heels up” Harris ambushing creepy Joe Biden by playing her victim card in the DNC debates on something he voted to support in the last millennium.

This week (the sexiest Presidential candidate of all time) Tulsi Gabbard shit all over Heels up Harris for her corruption and dishonesty while she was A-G in California (a post she certainly earned solely on merit alone).

The look on Heels up face was priceless, her face was like a huge coffee-coloured bowl of curdled cream. Looks like she’s another leftist whack job who’s very happy handing it out, but can’t stand getting some of her own medicine back.

I love watching the left eating their own – although Tulsi Gabbard would be a tough foe for Trump to beat given she’s hot, smart and reasonable. (But I’m not too worried, I think the DNC are fully committed to put Creepy Joe up to face-off against Trump in 2020).

    0

    0

    • And the aftermath is demonstrating just how little imagination Leftards (NPCs) actually have. It’s Russian interference!

What relevance the Russians have with Gabbard destroying Harris is anyone’s guess. Their NPC algorithm needs updating.

Is this a case of the chardonnay drinking city people in HO being miles out of touch with the co-ops owners in the countryside? It looks to me there needs to be more than a bit of financial re-engineering in Fonterra, a bit of “swamp” draining is needed.

I said her trip to Australia might spell the end of her popularity as the media there were less charmed by her. Once the press aren’t on her side, she’s fucked. Apart from impressing the willing to be impressed press, she has no known useful skills.

The part time prime minister label appears to be sticking. She’s getting offside with the Left over “suddenly sacred land” and the Left eat their own once you fail their purity test. Her royal wedding next year maybe too little too late.

“If you look at the picture of the troll, the hair is red, white and blue, and that is emphasising that most of the people who attacked us were from the United States, not people here.

“We are just really disappointed that people could attack it without reading the story.”

How does he know people didn’t read the story?

      • I posted this comment yesterday and make no apology for reposting it today because it is relevant. I just hope Cahill and senior officers actually get to see it though I have already sent similar to various MPs.

It is important to realize that Chris Cahill is a rabid anti-gun zealot and at his door lies much of the damage done to the decades old good relationship between law abiding sporting shooters and Arms officers that has been so carelessly trashed over the last four months. I sincerely hope that the NZ taxpaying public is indeed beginning to wake up to the scale of wastage of public funds that the government’s ill thought through, opportunist, agenda driven rush to introduce bad law represents. It may well be too late to reverse the ban, though it seems compliance to date is scant, but the ridiculous waste of further taxpayer money could easily be avoided if the opposition would actually start acting like one for a change.

NZ Police response to Police Association magazine cover
          Thursday, 1 August 2019 – 8:13pm
          National News

NZ Police is aware of commentary regarding the cover of the latest Police Association magazine.

We wish to make it clear that the cover in no way represents the views of NZ Police. The Police Association is an independent organisation and NZ Police has no input into the Association’s magazine.

NZ Police has worked extremely hard to engage with firearms owners, particularly around the legislative amendments introduced following the 15 March terror attacks, and we value the relationships we have with organisations representing firearms owners.

          • The magazine cover is but a trivial slight against Licenced fire arm owners within the total disrespect they have been given both by Police HQ and the politicians who passed the legislation without determining the excessive reach of that legislation.

It remains out of proportion to the incident that is claimed to have required the action.

    • Pania Newton is competing with Cindy for the limelight. Another narcissist looking to make a name for herself. Have a look at the picture of her wrapped in the Maori cloak. If she isn’t working the ‘cover girl’ angle I’ll eat my hat.

    • I have a suspicion that this debacle is going to cost the NZ taxpayer a rather huge sum of money- Rumours are that our virtue signalling ‘Mad Queen’ is about to get the chequebook out to appease these feral dropkicks….(And impress her friends at the UN/Amnesty International etc)

    • Response from Simon Bridges:
On behalf of Hon Simon Bridges, Leader of the Opposition, thank you for your email of 2 August 2019.
Your views and comments are noted and appreciated.

You may have seen that Brett Hudson, our Spokesperson on this issue, and Hon Todd McClay, have spoken publicly about this issue:

      Mr McClay said:
Our police men and women do a very good job under extremely difficult circumstances. I have a huge respect for them and their work to make New Zealand safer. It’s the Police Association (police union) that has unreasonably targeted the firearms community with irresponsible accusations on the cover of their magazine.

      Mr Hudson said:
The Police Association’s representation of firearm owners was unhelpful and did nothing to help the relationship between the firearm owners who are currently facing increased regulation and law changes affecting their way of life and the Police Association. It’s good to see that NZ Police have issued their own statement distancing themselves from this and committing to working together for a better relationship.

Thank you for taking the time to write to Mr Bridges.
      Yours sincerely
      Paul Hunt

DHB deficit explodes to $423 million, more than double last year

    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12255017

A budget blow-out across District Health Boards has grown by a staggering $112 million, or 36 per cent, in a single month to more than double what it was the same time last year.

All but one of the country’s 20 DHBs were in the red for the 11 months to May, with their total deficit rising to $423 million, latest financial results from the Ministry of Health show.

At the same time in May 2018, the deficit was $204 million.

It’s now expected the total deficit by year end, in June, will be $508 million – compared with Treasury and Ministry forecasts of $390 million just months ago.

    Clark is a fail.

    • Correction, DigNap15.

On average Housing New Zealand is building four new homes a day

I call bullshit. Kiwibuild couldn’t build what … 300 houses in a year. How the hell does Housing NZ build 4 houses a day? And why is Henry Cook, journalist for Stuff, not asking them where and how they are managing to build 4 houses per day?

  24. What is going on with the justice system?
Just read the local Christchurch rag, that a kidnapper threatening a jogger with a knife has remained at large after a Judge decided that there would be no benefit in putting the thug with extensive facial tattoos behind bars. The judge even had the nerve to suggest his decision would be unpopular.
Who is this privileged knob of a beak working for princess feelz or to protect the people this thug put at risk and who will no doubt surface again.
And then our great neutral non-political Police force decide they won’t charge two hoaxers who tried to game the system and get a “I was at the terror mosque” t-shirt and cash payout.
Who gives them the latitude to select if the law is broken.
This appears to me to be special treatment for a pair immigrants as they won’t dare identify them.

A judge should decide the merit of the charges if the law is broken not a bleeding heart cop. Their role is to collect evidence and bring it to the court for judgement and the judge……. Ah no never mind!

    • The only surprise is he didn’t have a round of golf with the judge dud.

We have a lot of lousy judges in this country, which as Gorse pointed out the other day creates a vicious circle because if a non-joke sentence is given, it will be appealed on the basis of precedent.
