  1. First again, I’m heading back to NZ in a couple of days, and to be honest I’m not looking forward to it. I have been staying in our house in the Philippines and also traveling to some of the most beautiful places imaginable. I drink at a bar a couple k from home, get shit faced then stagger to the tricycle terminal, Not once have I felt unsafe, infact folks go out of there way to help, Seriously thinking of moving here as I think NZ is heading to the bog hole. FJA and the sausage jockey.

    • I wouldnt try too hard, this lot will be working on a way to claw back more then that 27bux.
I get the feeling robo is loving inflation hence the massive firehose of money into yet more useless shit, it errodes the massive debt hes racking up and massively increasing tax take via gst etc every time an items price or someones wages goes up the govt wins.

Worst of all every budget theyve fired more money into health and its got worse, my prediction is now theyve fired mega bux into health its going to get far far far worse. I pity anyone that needs to interact with our healthcare system.

  3. An affordable house is 3 X your gross earnings max. The median wage is $58,000 Therefore the average house should cost $174,000 max. That formula is accepted and applied all over the world and has been for years. Though it still triggers small minded cretins who were suckered into a govt backed Ponzi scheme.

Looks like we will be making heaps of sticks minus the gib btw.

  4. House prices at the bottom of the market now falling in every region, but first home buyers no better off due to rising interest rates🏠🔥💥

    https://www.interest.co.nz/property/115873/house-prices-bottom-market-now-falling-every-region-first-home-buyers-no-better-due

So people with money are being taxed by inflation because people with debt borrowed too much to get on the govt backed Ponzi of fake capital gains that caused massive inflation …. Oh dear what a mess.

There will be a great reset of some kind and the Party that created this, by money printing to keep house prices rising during lockdowns, has a reset plan ready to go. What a lucky coincidence ☠️

  5. Economist Shamubeel Eaqub has slammed David Seymour’s comments on Budget 2022, calling them “economically illiterate” and lies about the economy.

Both Eaqub and ACT Party leader Seymour were appearing on the Newshub Nation Budget Special shortly after Finance Minister Grant Robertson unveiled his latest spending plan.

Robertson’s Budget was dominated by an $11.1 billion spend over four years to pay for Labour’s health system restructure.

Most fridays theres a homeschool group that get together and do different activities every week, wool dying/knitting, sausage making, archery etc This week was tie dying. Quite a cool wee homeschool community, it all kicked off from VFF meets so the parents are all very like minded.

        • It does seem that you have a virus of some description and not the covid or what ever it is called these days. Just been to the supermarket no one asked to see my pass, then went to Volare to get the bread then on to Bunnings no one asked but people did move away from me just in Bunnings. If dear leader has worn one forever, how come as she is vaccinated and wears a mask at every opportunity, did she get the virus? Why doesn’t she stop the mask wearing now she knows it doesn’t work? I have a friend with covid and he is absolutely fine, as of yesterday when I spoke with them, said it was nothing.

  6. Paddy and Mick are two Irishmen working at the local sawmill.
One day, Mick slips and his arm gets caught and severed by the big bench saw. Paddy quickly puts the limb in a plastic bag and rushes it and Mick to the local hospital.
Next day, Paddy goes to the hospital and asks after Mick. The nurse says, “Oh he’s out in Rehab exercising”.
Paddy couldn’t believe it, but there’s Mick out the back exercising his now re-attached arm. The very next day he’s back at work in the saw mill.
A couple of days go by, and then Mick slips and severs his leg on another bloody big saw.
So Paddy puts the limb in a plastic bag and rushes it and Mick off to Hospital..
Next day he calls in to see him and asks the nurse how he is.. The nurse replies, “He’s out in the Rehab again exercising”.
And sure enough, there’s Mick out there doing some serious work on the treadmill. And very soon Mick comes back to work.
But, as usual, within a couple of days he has another accident and severs his head.
Wearily Paddy puts the head in a plastic bag and transports it and Mick to hospital.
Next day he goes in and asks the nurse how Mick is. The nurse breaks down and cries and says, “He’s dead.”
Paddy is shocked, but not surprised. “I suppose the saw finally did him in.”
“No”, says the nurse, “Some idiot put his head in a plastic bag and he suffocated.

  8. I didn’t watch or listen to the budget speech. A friend sent me this, is it accurate?

Core Government expenditure now amounts to 35.3% of the total economy. When Jacinda Ardern became Prime Minister, the figure was 27.3%. This is what they spend on their own services..
    • $15.5m for “Pacific economic development” (i.e. funding for Pasifika-run businesses in New Zealand)
    • An extra $26m (now $155m in total) for “Progressive Procurement” – i.e. favouring Maori-owned businesses as government contractors
    • $580m for “Maori Health and wellbeing” including $188m for the new Maori Health Authority
    • $20m establishing new “Iwi-Maori Partnership Boards” (i.e. introducing co-governance to the new health system)
    • $70m for Pasifika health providers
    • $185m in arts and culture grants “to help build a resilient cultural sector as it continues to adapt to the challenges coming out of COVID-19”
    • $327m in funding for the new RNZ/TVNZ merged media entity (i.e. more bribes to tell the government propaganda only)
    • A $1 billion “Maori Budget” including: $91m on Maori trades, training, and cadetships, $3m for “marae connectivity”, $5m for iwi/Maori teachers
    • $200m for Maori education
    • $28m for Maori “language, culture and identity”
    • $162m for Maori organisations to reduce emissions, including $36m for “matauranga [traditional knowledge]-based approaches to reducing biological emissions” and $30m for “Maori Climate Action”
    • $38m for Pasifika training, education, and bilingual schooling
    • $14m for an “historical account of the Dawn Raids”
    • $178m for councils dealing with RMA reform, plus a new “National Maori Entity” to co-govern resource management

It’s a real privilege for me to be taking the position of Auckland Business Chamber CEO later this year where I will continue to work with Michael. I’m looking forward to learning and listening and being a strong voice for business and Auckland.

  11. Here’s an idea. We could save some money by getting rid of Treasury. Nobody listens to them these days.

“Treasury recommended against the Government’s $350 cost of living payment for middle-income households, saying it was a “poor mechanism for supporting households with a longer-term problem” – and that it will make inflation worse in the short term.”

  18. Qatar scraps its LNG deal with Germany at the last minute citing new conditions

Germany is set aback as Qatar has recently pressed for various conditions that could affect the Qatar-Germany LNG deal. Nonetheless, in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Germany became one of the first European countries to press for sanctions on Russia. Germany has stated that it will no longer buy Russian gas after 2024. Germany is now looking into Russian gas alternatives.

In this backdrop, Germany and Qatar signed a contract for the delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in March, which would help the European country wean itself off its reliance on Russian energy. However, Qatar has recently imposed certain conditions, implying that the LNG contract with Germany is set to be scrapped.

  20. A call made to end covid misinformation like these 9 points where the authorities lied.
    .
    …. #1 Overcounting COVID-19:
The official CDC numbers for COVID-19 deaths and hospitalizations are inaccurate.
    .
    #2 Questioning Natural Immunity:
There has been consistent questioning and denying of natural immunity after COVID-19 recovery.
    .
    #3 COVID-19 Vaccines Prevent Transmission:
The CDC director and other health officials falsely claimed that the COVID-19 vaccine prevents the transmission of COVID-19 to others.
    .
#4 School Closures Were Effective and Costless:
In the United States, most schools were closed for in- person teaching for some time, and many schools were closed for over a year.
This decision was based on false claims that it would protect children, teachers, and the community at large.
    .
#5 Everyone is equally at risk of hospitalization and death from COVID-19 infection:
Though public health messaging has blunted this fact, there is more than a thousand-fold difference in the risk of hospitalization and death for the old relative to the young.
    .
#6 There was no reasonable policy alternative to lockdowns:
Even from the beginning of the pandemic, the sharp age-gradient in the risk of severe disease on COVID-19 infection has provided an alternative to the lockdown-focused policies that many U.S. states adopted –
    — focused protection of the aged and otherwise vulnerable.
    .
#7 Mask mandates are effective in reducing the spread of viral infectious diseases:
Contrary to assertions by some public health officials, mask mandates have not been effective in protecting most populations against COVID-19 risk.
    .
#8 Mass testing of asymptomatic individuals and contact tracing of positive cases is effective in reducing disease spread:
Mass testing of asymptomatic individuals with contact tracing and quarantining of people who test positive has failed to substantively slow the progress of the epidemic and has imposed great costs on people who were quarantined —
    — even though they posed no risk of infecting others.
    .
#9 The eradication of COVID-19 is a feasible goal:
Throughout the pandemic, from “two weeks to flatten the curve” and onwards, the suppression of the spread of COVID-19 has been an explicit policy goal.
Implicitly, public health leaders have made the suppression of COVID-19 spread to near-zero levels the endpoint of the pandemic.
However, SARS-CoV-2 has none of the characteristics of a disease that can be eradicated.

So it seems the internet is killing the television star.

New research out from Canstar shows more than a third of Kiwis no longer watch traditional television – up 20 percent over the past year.

Along with that, nearly 80 percent of people get their entertainment mainly through the internet.

  23. Stolen from scubaboard.com. who probably stole it from somewherevelse….

heads up’ for those of you who may be regular Home Depot customers.
This one caught me by surprise. Over the last month I became a victim
of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies
has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don’t be naive enough to think
it couldn’t happen to you or your friends.
Here’s how the scam works: Two seriously good-looking
20-21 year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your
car, They both start wiping your windshield with a
rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy
T-shirts. It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer
them a tip, they say ‘No’ and instead ask you for a ride to
    McDonald’s. You
agree and they get in the backseat.
On the way, they start undressing. Then one of them climbs over into
the front seat and starts crawling all over you, while the other one
    steals your wallet.
I had my wallet stolen February 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th,
    17th, 20th, 24th & 29th. Also, March 1st, 4th, twice on the 8th, 16th,
23rd, 26th, 30th, three times last Saturday and very likely again this
    upcoming weekend.
So tell your friends to be careful.
P.S. Walmart has wallets on sale $2.99 each
