  3. You know there’s a problem when the Governor of the bank of England in the UK says “the food situation in the UK is looking apocalyptic” those were his words ,, IS ANYBODY LISTENING???
And nearing 10% inflation, the chances of serious social unrest is looming all around the Western world especially when the billions realize that these problems were bought about by a worldwide medical farce prompted by the very politicians that were voted into power to stop that sort of thing from actually happening.

    • For nearly 2 years I’ve been expecting some ‘serious social unrest’ to hit the former New Zealand. Horseface has been pushing it to the max and I’m frankly flabbergasted that every morning I wake up to find parliament buildings still standing with the cunt and her menagerie still lording it over decent New Zealanders.

Serious social unrest is all that will save New Zealand now, I’m afraid.

  4. Who the hell is such a Karen that would complain to the racing board about naming a horse “Smiles like Jacinda”?
I mean really, what’s so bad about that name? The horse doesn’t know who Jacinda is for crying out loud…

“Bryce was a major proponent into the Waikato basin wars. And so that’s been an issue of contention for some time,” Morgan said. “It’s certainly our intention to carry a proposal to the council to change Bryce Street.”

“A street name commemorating a cavalry leader whose unit attacked a group of young Māori children could be set to change, as Hamilton wrestles with its colonialist past.”

      • The All Blacks’ original haka isTe Rauparaha’s haka. Tells the tale of his near capture and almost certain death. Personally I’d rather they explain to everyone entering the events held there that while some think of him as a hero, he murdered his way south from Kawhia harbour, where his distant relatives were trying to kill him and his tribe, and he did the same to others but more brutally than almost anyone before him. Way more people died to the Ngati Toa/Taranaki iwi coalition than were ever killed by British Government and colonial forces.
He wasn’t all bad either, but history isn’t usually either black or white.
He was also known to frequent the Thistle Inn in Thordon, and was able to get his drinks for free. The Thistle Inn is still standing, just moved along a bit from the original spot. A great place to have a beer if you can get in there when it’s not too busy.

    • More New Zealanders died in the Māori v Māori musket wars, than even WW1. We should avoid Māori names too. Just use Disney characters as street names. Wait. How about just covid variants. What about stupid race baiting politicians street names. Streets of shame..

The Prime Minister’s meeting with the President of the United States at the White House hangs in the balance because she caught COVID-19.

Jacinda Ardern has officially announced her travel itinerary for her trip to America and it includes stops in New York, Washington DC, Boston, San Francisco and Seattle.

And no one is allowed to touch foot in the United States sooner than 10 days after testing positive.

That saw Ardern left behind while officials, staff and the media delegation continued on the original Defence Force flight to Los Angeles on Saturday night.

    • Viking, an older mate that lives down the road read an article I sent that was here on YSB a couple of weeks ago about heart problems after the snake bite vaccines, he was very sick after the second shot which ended up being diagnosed as myocarditis. He’d not put 2 and 2 together until he read the article I sent him and is now outraged and baying for blood as his doctor never mentioned the fact that his sickness was probably a vaccine side effect.

  12. Prime Minister of Hungary understands, how to keep on winning. 🙂

…. This problem – …. … – is the domination of public life by progressive liberals.
The problem is the fact that they hold the most important positions in the most important institutions, that they occupy the dominant positions in the media, and that they produce all the politically indoctrinating works of high and mass culture.
They – the progressive left – tell us what is the truth and what is not, what is right and what is wrong. …..

An excerpt from a recent Speech by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán who has served as prime minister of Hungary since 2010, previously holding the office from 1998 to 2002.
Orban turned Hungary and its people around, not only from the initial Communism, but the more deadly insidious liberalism that was dragging Hungary down.
12 points to turn Hungary around.

    • Do good New Zealanders know what we are up against?
      .
      ……enough was enough.
We wanted to regain our country and our freedom; we wanted to regain our country’s freedom.
The communists did not let this pass without response: police attacks, bans, wiretaps, infiltration by state agents, threats and blackmail.
But we persevered, and we won.
      Soviets out, communists down.
      .
We thought we had finally got what we wanted, but we were wrong:–
under the dictatorship liberals and conservatives entered into an anti-communist pact,
but at the first subsequent opportunity the liberals sided with the communists. ……
      .
…… our first conservative, Christian government in 2002: we governed outstandingly – after so many years I can perhaps indulge in that much immodesty – but we were dragged down by the swamp of the Hungarian left.
      .
And then, between 2002 and 2010, we saw what generally happens in such circumstances: the socialists spent the people’s money.
Hungary sank into debt, the economy fell into recession, inflation ran out of control, unemployment rose and people were unable to pay their bills.
Street violence broke out and paramilitary groups were on the march.
It was a long time ago, but let us not forget: strings of ethnically-motivated murders outraged public sentiment.
The Left had cut back spending on the police so much that they were unable to maintain even the pretense of order, with the law protecting perpetrators rather than victims. …..

      .
Which seems to be direction New Zealand is heading

    • Orban’s resistance figured out some principles that made people think of the strength of the argument of ideas and prepared to say it.
      .
….. the fruit of progressive government speaks for itself: economic ruin and street violence.
When a left-wing government comes to power, the story almost always ends in the same way. ….
      ..
…. in 2002 we organized a popular movement and intellectual resistance with the troops left to us after our electoral defeat.
We did not adopt a defensive attitude, and we did not resign ourselves to our minority status;—
we played to win and proclaimed the Reconquista. ….
      .
…… ✸ The first point in the Hungarian formula is to play by our own rules.
The only way to win is to refuse to accept the solutions and the paths offered by others.
As Churchill said, having enemies is a sure sign that you are doing something right.
This is why we should not be discouraged by being defamed, by being branded as deplorable, or by being treated abroad like troublemakers.
In fact, it would be suspicious if none of this happened.
Please remember that those who play by their opponents’ rules are certain to lose. ….

      .
These 12 points, principles ✸ but why do we default to nonsense issue & points, that convinces no one, that loses credibility, so that we become our own worse enemies where the academia, politicians & media pile on to take advantage, to de-rail, & maintain their progressive narrative, agenda.

      • “Please remember that those who play by their opponents’ rules are certain to lose. …”

    • Identify what people really want.
      .
….. ✸ The second point: national conservatism in domestic politics.
The cause of the nation is not a matter of ideology, nor even of tradition.
The reason that churches and families must be supported is that they are the building blocks of the nation.
      .
This also means that one must remain on the side of the voters.
We decided to stop migration and build the wall on our southern border because Hungarians said that they did not want illegal immigrants.
They said: “Viktor, build that wall!” Three months later the border barrier was up.
The secret is not to overthink things: the Hungarian fence is a simple chain-link structure with motion detectors, watchtowers and cameras; but this is enough, provided people want to protect their country.
      .
The Achilles heel of progressives is precisely that they want to impose their dreams on society.
      .
But for us that danger is also an opportunity, because when it comes to important issues, in reality people do not like left-wing fever dreams.
      .
One must find the issues on which the Left is completely out of touch with reality and highlight them – but in a way that can be understood by people who are not eggheads. ….

      .
Certainly some issues in New Zealand, like Aotearoa names, Treaty, like the co-governance, 3 waters, maori seats, which if put to a binding referendum will put a lot of progressive institutions on the back foot, but actually “drain the swamp”.

    • For then moment I have skipped the Third point, as it relates to foreign policy and the Ukraine Russia conflict.
      But will post it later.

In the mean time the Ardern government is funding and setting up further controls on media.

….. ✸ Fourth point, … we must have our own media.
We can only show up the insane ideas of the progressive Left if we have media that helps us to do this.
      .
Left-wing opinions only appear to be in the majority when the media helps to amplify them.
The root of the problem is that the modern Western media aligns itself with the views of the Left.
Reporters were taught at university by people with progressive left-wing views.
And as soon as a conservative figure appears in the media, they are criticized, attacked, defamed and vilified.
      .
I am familiar with the old ethos of Western democracy, according to which party politics and the press must be separated.
That is how it should be ….. the Democrats in the US, for instance, do not obey such rules.
Just try to count how many media outlets are in the service of the Democratic Party: CNN, The New York Times, the list goes on – I could carry on into the night.
Naturally, the Grand Old Party, too, has allied media outlets, but they are no match for the liberals’ dominance of the media.
      .
My friend Tucker Carlson stands alone and immovable.
His show has the highest audience figures. What does this mean? It means that there should be shows like his day and night – or, as you say, 24/7. ….

So now we have some leaks around the side, like Ed’s blog, and others.
      Muriel Newman’s blog, NZCPR
How ever much is not getting out, to the general public, to hear the debates, discussions.
Sean Plunkett’s “The Platform” on livestream, though so far, not on actual radio.
The condition of going radio would be to allow themselves to be constrained, putting hand cuffs on, and then subject to “codes of practice” etc., to be ruled by the progressive Broadcasting Complaints Commission?

I am just picking the key areas, and editing just to spacing, & emphasis, and cutting …. what seems to be superfluous as it is a long read.

      5

      0

      • I have wondered for a few months why Sean Plunket does not go on radio.
Simpleton1 has nailed it. The woke Broadcasting Standards Authority would rub him out. The paedophiles and malevolent bitches on the BSA will be gnashing their teeth. I love it.

        2

        0

    • So many barriers, taboos, that our politicians, academia, institutions, media, say that is not up for discussion, while emphasizing that their “conversation” is the only way forward.
      .
…. ✸ Fifth point: expose your opponent’s intentions.
As a condition for victory, media support is necessary, but not sufficient.
We must also break down taboos. …. …. because what breaker of taboos is greater than President Donald Trump?
But one can always raise the bar: we must not only break down today’s taboos, but also tomorrow’s taboos.
      .
Here in Hungary we expose what the Left are preparing before they even take action.
At first they will deny it, but success is all the sweeter when it emerges that we were right all along.
      .
For instance, there is the issue of LGBTQ propaganda targeting children.
This is still a new thing over here, but we have already destroyed it.
We brought the issue out into the open and held a referendum on it.
The overwhelming majority of Hungarians have rejected this form of sensitization of children.
      .
By revealing at an early stage what the Left were preparing for, we forced them on the defensive, and when they attacked our initiative they were eventually forced to admit the reality of their plan.
      .
Allow me to quote General Patton again: “A good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week.” …..

      .
Shutting down the debate, changing definitions, where we should ignore that.
All these many things like the sexual agenda curriculum in schools in New Zealand is in plain sight.

      7

      0

    • KISS;— Keep It Simple Stupid.

….. ✸ Sixth point: economy, economy, economy.
We all know that the Left want to operate the economy according to abstract notions.
This is a trap for the Right. Never fall for it!
When we came to power, we decided that we must only pursue economic policies that benefit the majority of voters.
      .
Here in Hungary we have a motto about this: “Even those who did not vote for us end up better off.”
      .
In this, we are the polar opposite of the progressives: even those who voted for them end up worse-off.
      .
In the final analysis people want jobs: people want jobs, not economic theories.
      .
People want to take a step forward in life, and people want a better life for their children than the life they have had.
      .
If a government of the right is unable to deliver all this, it is doomed to failure. ….

      7

      0

    • Speaking too much nonsense?
      .
…. ✸ Our seventh point: do not get pushed to the extreme.
I say this because extreme conspiracy theories rear their heads from time to time on the right –
      — just as extreme utopias regularly rear their heads on the left.
      .
If we take a deeper look, we see that in fact people want neither.
…. what is the difference between the denial of science by the extreme right and the denial of biology by LGBTQ movements?
The answer is simple: there is no difference whatsoever.
      .
We must render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, unto God the things that are God’s, and unto Science the things that are Science’s.
      .
We may gain immense popularity on internet forums by promoting conspiracy theories – and indeed sometimes there is truth in them;—
      .
but in reality we will alienate a large proportion of the electorate, find ourselves pushed to the margins, and eventually we will lose. ….

      .
Authority of science is not just because of white coat.
Truth is free, despite the claims the progressive left claim is the truth. Evidence, Facts, data, all need to be revealed so that truth can stand up on its own basis.

Science is not a consensus and needs to be challenged, where people look for and search for facts, evidence, and how that stacks up.

  13. Coco Cola has gone woke and is going broke soon!
They are going to change the iconic bottle shape used from the 1920’s, to a short fat bottle that the cap doesn’t come off to please the recyclers! They are going to spend billions changing everything except whats in the bottle!
How they do that will be interesting. Coke if you fuck it up and it leaks when drinking, pouring, etc
in other words if it don’t work like the presesnt, I will be buying a different brand!

    • How can you tell there is a real estate slump?
      – Disappearance of second-level real estate offices from the high street. (The “big name” real estate agents will stick around longer.)
      – Proliferation of “To Let” signs on shops
      – Proliferation of “Mortgagee Sales”
      – Proliferation of vacancies and “To Let” signs on commercial / light industrial properties
      – Significantly more “For Sale” signs on your street
      – Used car lots filling up with the types of cars beloved by real estate agents
      – Significantly less boasting about property valuations at parties and BBQs
      – Noticeably more beef patties and Mad Butcher sausages at said BBQs 😉

Town is always dead on Mondays – been that way for 30 years. Retail stores only open on Mondays to stock the shelves and process returns from stuff people bought at the weekend and bring back for refund or exchange.
Town is going to get a whole lot deader since lockdowns taught us all to shop on line.
Time the courier contractors caught on and double shifted the delivery vans to work longer hours and weekends.

Police say Daren Standen, 60, came to their attention after a family harm incident in December 2020.

Officers found $226,785 in cash in the back of a car, along with 35.85g of methamphetamine and utensils. The cash was seized.

Standen later pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of methamphetamine for supply. He was sentenced to home detention.

High Court Justice Gerald Nation ruled on May 16 this year the cash and a 2003 Audi Quattro – a total value of $244,065 – be forfeited.

  17. Partner let him move Ukrainian fox into the hen house

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/lifestyle/2022/05/ukraine-invasion-woman-devastated-after-partner-leaves-family-for-ukrainian-refugee-they-housed.html
A dad of two in Bradford, England, has left his partner shattered after leaving her and their two children to be with a Ukrainian refugee.

Security guard Tony Garnett offered to house a Ukrainian refugee to help out those trying to flee the war-torn country.

Garnett, who worked at a National Health Service (NHS) drop-in clinic, was introduced to Ukrainian refugee Sofiia Karkadym on Facebook and offered to help sponsor her from the UK, The Sun reported.

Karkadym fled the city of Lviv to Berlin, before flying to Manchester on May 4, to live with Garnett his partner and their two young daughters.

  19. 🏠🔥The level of housing market volatility is the highest in 30 years, and that is causing the market downturn to snowball as the weakness works its way up to higher-end properties, a valuer says.🏠💥💩

“In my 30-plus years as a registered valuer, I’ve never seen anything quite like it before, and I’m not sure if we’ve seen the worst of it, either.

  20. This interview with Oliver Stone is very interesting and worth the time if you have it. I listened to it while being hubby’s ‘apprentice’ on his latest project. Listening fills in the times when I’m not expected to anticipate his every move. 😉

    • This part of Victor Orban’s speech slips in well here. Orban figures Hungary interests, compared to Ukraine & Russia.

…. ✸ Third point: the national interest in foreign policy.
Progressives always think that foreign policy is a battle of ideologies: a battle between good and bad, in which the course of history will be decided once and for all.

But as I see it, …. there have been at least four such “last great battles” over the past hundred years.
Something is wrong with that concept.

Our response should be a clear and simple antithesis to the progressives:—
the Nation First! Hungary First! America First!
We need foreign policy based on our interests.

This is not always easy, because the world of foreign policy is often a complicated one.
Take the war in our neighboring country. Russia is the aggressor, and Ukraine the victim.
We condemn the aggressor and help the victim of aggression.
But at the same time we know that Ukraine is not defending Hungary.
      That is a nonsensical idea!
Hungary can be defended by NATO and the Hungarian Defense Forces.

As a proportion of our population, we have taken in the largest number of refugees, and the Hungarian people are happy to help.
They are glad to help, but they do not want to pay the price of the war, because it is not their war and they will not benefit from it.

They know full well that war is accompanied by sanctions, rampant inflation and economic stagnation;—
they know that war always impoverishes people.
We must not yield to the siren voices, however tempting they may sound.
Our aim is to restore peace, not to continue the war, because that is what is in our national interest.
      Hungary First! …..

      Well said Victor Orban, 🙂

In the beginning negotiation may have been possible, but now I can not see it happening that easily.
It seems to have become a proxy war, where US NATO & even NZ are sending armaments, money, but what will happen when many of the men in the Ukraine, have been used up? KIA, MIA, Wounded, or POW?

    • No I didn’t write the articles Mikey poos you dribbling imbecile.

How does renting compare to losing thousands a day in devaluation as the bank charges you more and rent on the money you borrowed to live in the banks house?

Now give yourself a wee jab in the throat with a broken bottle and meditate on how stupid you are 😖

    • This shows that many are still doing very well this year. 🙂

In the three months to March 2022 (Q1 2022), 99.1% of properties resold made a gross profit, or gain, on the previous purchase price, down marginally from 99.3% in Q4 2021.
      .
      In dollar terms, the median
resale profit also dipped slightly to $406,000, down from a record high of $435,000 in Q4 2021, but still the second highest profit in the 26-year history of this data series.
Just two years ago, pre-pandemic in Q1 2020, the median resale gain was $233,632.
      .
Mr Davidson says “While the figures have softened consistent with the wider market slowdown, the fall is only minor and it may be some time before we see more substantial declines in profit-making resales.
There’s no doubt that these figures are still strong, both in the frequency and size of the gains.

The complexity, the way of how it is measured, land value, zoning, house replacement, interest rates, Council & Government legislation, etc..
and despite the prophets, no one rings the bell when it is at the top, or when at the bottom, and what it means to the individual is more on a case by case basis.

Just not so good, always difficult for first home buyers.

      • Conclusion is that melanoma may actually be caused by a lack of sun rather than too much.
Evidence being that rates for indoor workers have increased and outdoor workers haven’t.
Possible reason that indoor workers still get UVA through glass windows etc but no UVB which produces Vit D and is generally protective.
I don’t think you need a disposable email for epoch times they are a very good source of news with some real reporters.

        • Thanks. For what it’s worth I’ve never paid much care to scare stories about the sun. I worked outdoors & spent the warmer months in a singlet & shorts for a bit over fifty years & although I’ve got skin that looks like leather, no sign of skin cancers. Looking back over the past 40,000 years my ancestors did the same.

The best part of the predictions of Chicken Little outcomes is that those of us who are still sane will get on with life & tell the experts & wankers to get fucked.

    • Have always wondered about this.Very interesting indeed.
Found it puzzling that some people that have had melanomas were never outside and had them in unexposed places.
I work outside and have never used sunblock although I have always worn a hat.

      • Mr Hitler would have had someone like me as Mother of the Nation…being of very Pure Aryan (Celtic) stock with not a hint of any funny genes…. and with very white skin..

My childhood summers were spent as much outdoors as possible…and living in a beach suburb..it was beach, sandhills, or the school swimming pool .
I have only ever tanned once in my life (after 3weeks on the poor Knights Island)…
I burn… skin turns red, blisters, then peels…and freckles appear.
In my 20s I began to start applying sun screen to arms & neck… but if I applied sunscreen (or makeup) to my face/ nose, my skin turned red and became hot and a bit painful.

I got my first skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma) on my upper arm cut out in my 40s..and have since then covered myself (hat/long sleeves/long pants) if I go out in bright sunshine.
Nowadays I burn within two minutes… my hands and face are full of keratoses.

Clearly my skin was designed for life in in a foggy, misty climate… but I loathe being cold….

        • Genetics certainly play a part Maggy. Both my mother & my MIL came ex Scotland to NZ as children & both had reactions to sun as you have suffered. Fortunately for the ball & chain, myself & our kids they had the good sense to marry Kiwis with dark complexions.

Yet the sun was never a big deal until the wanking, know-all class decided that the ozone hole was going to kill us all. I’ve long been of the opinion that what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.

          • Having adaptive melanin is a good thing.
(I still cover up in the NZ summer. The sunlight here is far harsher than in Japan. The Auckland wind chills you while the high-UV sunlight burns you.)

          • My great fear is getting a skin cancer cut off my lips… I have a pale patch of pigment where there was once a kind of freckle… but it’s not raised or troubling, etc…
However, My sis-in-law is a blond Queenslander and in her day was a top surf-caster and Outrigger canoeist… She’s had a few skin cancers cut out from various places.
Last-time I was up in Townsville, she was having a skin cancer cutoff her lip and wasn’t at the airport w. my brother who picked me up.
When we got back to their home she arrived with stitches in her lower lip. I was a bit shocked at her appearance and asked what had happened… before she could reply my brother said : “She starting getting lippy, so I gave her a backhander”
Poor sis-in-law started laughing but it hurt so much she had to leave the room, scared she was going to split open the stitches..

Jair Bolsonaro announced this week that Brazil will not turn over its sovereignty to the World Health Organization (WHO). • It’s all those photos of the horse being posted. Shock causing sudden heart attacks.

To be serious for a moment:
“These figures show that the excess deaths for the first 4 months of 2022 exceeded 2,200, whereas the total confirmed deaths which list Covid as the underlying cause of death, as recently announced by the government, is less than 450 for the same period. This is in line with a 2020 article in the British Medical Journal. It suggests that less than 1/3 of excess deaths are due to Covid. So what are they due to?”

Good question I am certain I know at least one of the contributing factors.
