  1. CLOWN-CAR SPENDING ON THE ‘ARTS’…

If you wondered what support robbo gave to ‘The Arts’ at a local level in his last budget, then wonder no more.’

Herewith (Courtesy of The Daily Examiner NZ)() is a list of ‘ Creative Communities” grants funded by Creative NZ and doled out by local councils.

Some of of the subjects that the taxpayer of NZ are funding as a result are ‘interesting’ to say the least…

Some could even see it as ‘Buying votes’….

  2. Komata, that is as bad as this piece, no doubt funded by the Government as Public Interest Journalism for the MSM.

An Interviewer, interviewing an Interviewer on how absolutely awesome is Ardern. It is sickening, no criticism, no in depth investigation of any matter of substance, just fawning.

  4. More sepratism.
And Tamahere is involved so its about money as usual.
The Ministry of Health has been accused of “cooking the books” in New Zealand’s Covid response by using data that undercounted Māori, inflated vaccination rates and may have led to higher rates of death and illness.

Some health statisticians say the dataset used by the ministry to measure vaccination rates undercounted Māori by as much as 20 per cent in critical age bands.

They argue that this flawed data didn’t allow a proper understanding of how and where to target vaccination resources, which has contributed to gaps in Māori vaccination against Covid-19.

  5. Normal serice return to Auckland and our useless Police Minister who should resign.
    But she won’t

Police Minister Poto Williams says it would be the ‘worst nightmare’ if someone was killed in the recent gang-related shootings across Auckland. Video / NZ Herald

Police have responded to what is believed to be yet another gang-related drive-by shooting in Auckland.

  6. Bulding industry about to crumble.

Despite all the problems Mobie continues to increase the cost of new housing by increasing the insulation requirements.
Based on a faulty criteria.and driven by global warming they are increasing the insulation requirements of new housing.

so but excuse me how does this make sense.
If say we accept that global warming is a thing surely houses would need less insulation.
Or do they not bel;eieve the narrative?

Thier argument is that houses should be kept around 18 degree’s. Now in many places in NZ that’s above the average temperature. so if you work outside as many do then you go home to a house that;s warmenr than your body is use to. Nett result is ya get crook.

They are mad I tell ya. Stupid in the head when those rules apply to Kerikeri , the BOpP and Soutland and places like Dunedin and Invergiggle where the sun never shines and they are a number of degrees closer to the Antarctic.
All that bike riding in other places should ensure people keep warm.
    FFS I think I’m gong naana’s.

    • Are you saying i should chill my home so its cooler then the temps i work outside in?
Yeah nah i like it toasty as, 28-30°c in my living area most nights through the winter when i get home, 22-25 in the bedrooms… try n do that with your shitty townie heat pump 🙂 your power meter would have a fit

        • Haha yea i know, i love my fire. We have a massive house to heat so usually gets very toasty in living area in an effort to heat the bedrooms.
Trust me tho ive done my time in southland of having the bed in the lounge next to the fire and several layers of clothes trying not to freeze to death.

          • I can remember a winter in Tauranga like that! 2014 it was. I was there on a short-term job contract which I accepted on the condition they provided accommodation for me and my family. So they rented an ancient old hovel for us, and that’s how we ended up. All the beds arranged around the fire, trying not to freeze to death overnight. Thank God it wasn’t a job contract in Invercargill.

Asian builcers around here use to reuse building materials you couldn’t see. Reinforcing, insulation, went from house to house down the street, inspection done. Move it to the next one!

        • Leofric, we burn Kai coal and bluegum, we just let the fire chug throughout the day with a few buts of wood then stoke it up and bucket of coal about 4pm and the bedrooms/living area is toasty by 6pm, nutha bucket about 9pm sees it through to the morning. Its not that toasty in the morning of course but still warm enough to stroll around in ya jocks.
Central heating would have been great but was gunna be an extra 15k so just opted for multifuel fireplace.

          • Unless it’s frosty or miserably cold the Waikato is mostly too warm for wood burners. Many a night had to fling the doors and windows open to cool the lounge down. We installed a heat vent through the ceiling to the hallway with a small fan for warm air into the bedrooms. Worked a treat.

    • Brainwashed? That’s part of it.

The Japanese saying “The nail that sticks up gets hit” is also at play in New Zealand (and most) societies. If everyone at the mall or supermarket is wearing a mask, then most people will also wear a mask. No one wants to stand out or cause offense.

No journalist is going to write an article questioning the official narrative if they want to keep their job. No editor will publish it for the same reason.

Most people will happily go with the flow (until the system starts to break down).

      Bread and circuses!

      • HP,
But in addition to that, on seeing how their colleagues were treated, many took early retirement or declined to work past 65, which many of them used to do. In hospital a while back, there were a number of nurses and support staff over 65.

The same is happening with Doctors and specialists. Early retirement or gone on the dot of 65. All that knowledge, resource, and experience gone.

Continue working and being forced to violate the Hippocratic oath on a daily basis, or retire and go fishing / prep a vege garden / write a book / help a partner or sibling or offspring with their business, and/or join NZDSOS / VFF to help combat the tyranny?

  7. Yo, Saggy, from your post.

“Ardern says there have also been an increase in the number of nurses on staff which means there are more vacancies.

Being a Drongo, only Ardern could work out that logic.

For simple people like me, I am confused, if there are more people employed, then then are more vacancies. I just don’t get how that works.

  8. Labour spraying taxpayer funds like a drunk with a fire hose.

Budget 2022: Willie Jackson expects ‘new and exciting’ things in Māori media sector after it receives $40m

He added that the Government has set aside $350 million a year of new money for kaupapa Māori.

“When you compare it to past groupings whether it’s Labour, National or Māori, they used to get about $30 million a year, we’re getting ten times the amount.”

    • “When you compare it to past groupings whether it’s Labour, National or Māori, they used to get about $30 million a year, we’re getting ten times the amount.”

Remember this WG, next year Ardern and the dishonest people that are Labour will come looking for “your” vote next year.

Willie Jackson being a List MP however won’t have to do anything next year as being a List MP, he may well get back into Parliament through other peoples efforts, certainly not his own, as he does not have to campaign for any electorate.

National, on the other hand and Te Reo Luxon in particular are extremely quiet on this subject and say absolutely nothing about repealing or pushing back on any of this Maorification of New Zealand. His silence and Nationals silence is deafening, just like their lack of visible support for the Taxpayers Union push against 3 Waters.

The lot of them, Ardern, Jackson, Labour, Luxon and the National Party disgust me.

  9. “Doc,” says Steve, “I want to be castrated.”
“What on earth for?” asks the doctor in amazement.
“It’s something I’ve been thinking about for a long time and I want to have it done” replies Steve.
“But have you thought it through properly?” asks the doctor, “It’s a very serious operation and once it’s done, there’s no going back. It will change your life forever!”
“I’m aware of that and you’re not going to change my mind – either you book me in to be castrated or I’ll simply go to another doctor.”
“Well, OK.”, says the doctor, “But it’s against my better judgment!”
So Steve has his operation, and the next day he is up and walking very slowly, legs apart, down the hospital corridor with his drip stand.
Heading towards him is another patient, who is walking exactly the same way.
“Hi there,” says Steve, “It looks as if you’ve just had the same operation as me.”
“Well,” said the patient, “I finally decided after 37 years of life that I would like to be circumcised.”
Steve stared at him in horror and screamed, “Hell! THAT’S the word!!!”

    • HP, this Geezer Luxon, in my opinion is looking more to improving his CV than anything.

To become PM is his goal, to improve the life of New Zealanders does not feature.

The man is passionless and has a great lack of vision. He seems to want to follow a typical CEO script, politics and peoples long term future is just ancillary.

Will he make this country great and a place of the future? He shows no sign of understanding or being able to do or take the country there. The best I could say about Luxon, is that he is very Bland.

Don’t get me wrong, I think little of Luxon but the alternative is a labour green government who will quickly provide the coup d’état to New Zealand.

PM Jacinda Ardern says Government open to police seizing assets from gang members caught with guns
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2022/06/pm-jacinda-ardern-says-government-open-to-police-seizing-assets-from-gang-members-caught-with-guns.html

The Prime Minister wants to bring forward policy changes to prevent shootings amid a spate of gang-related gun crime.
It comes after another house was shot up in Auckland overnight.

Amid calls for police to get tougher on gangs, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern told AM she was open to the idea of police officers taking assets off gang members that are caught with a gun and was working with Police Commissioner Andrew Coster closely on the matter.

  11. Some years ago the Pope was visiting New Zealand as part of a world tour.

On a day when he had a few hours to spare he asked if he could be shown one of the famous beaches of New Zealand, so his hosts took him to a beautiful, secluded beach on the South Island.

As the Pope and his entourage were walking along the pristine sand, a sudden commotion in the water caught everyone’s attention—a man wearing a green and gold top was seen to be swimming furiously towards shore, with a great white shark in hot pursuit.

Just as it appeared that the Australian was about to be torn to pieces by the shark, a motor boat carrying four Maori men rounded the point.

They ran their boat directly at the shark and stabbed it with grappling hooks just before the shark reached the Australian. They then carefully lifted the man from the water and gently placed him on the bottom of their boat before turning the boat to go around the point again, with the shark in tow.

The Pope asked his entourage to get their attention—he wanted to talk to these heroic New Zealanders who had rescued a foreigner, and an Australian at that, from certain death.

As requested, the Kiwis turned their boat towards shore and glided gently up on the sand, next to where the Pope was standing.

His Holiness was effusive in his praise, saying that he had heard about possible bad relations between Australians and New Zealanders, but that their prompt action was an inspiration to all mankind, showing how people could live in peace and harmony, and selflessly help each other when help was needed.

After the Pope and his entourage left, one of the Kiwis asked: ‘Who the fuck was that?’

One of his mates replied: ‘That was the Pope. He has direct communication with God and knows all there is to know about doctrinal matters’.

‘Well’, said his companion, ‘he knows bugger all about shark fishing. Anyway, is that bait still all right, or do we need to get another one?’

  14. It started with Arthur Thomas in 1970. Fifty years on, the police & prosecutors have learnt nothing.

……” On the eve of a crucial Supreme Court hearing, the Crown has admitted Auckland man Alan Hall, who spent nearly two decades in prison for murder, shouldn’t have been convicted, because police deliberately hid vital evidence from the jury.”…….

Justice, New Zealand style, involves some fuckwit in the police hierarchy shitting themselves over political & journalistic pressure to solve cases inside an hour, less commercials, like TV cops do it. They pick on some no-hoper & fit the evidence around their theories. This time they went so far as to interfere with evidence. ie. “The most blatant example of this was the intentional alteration of a key witness’s statement.”

    https://noqreport.com/2022/06/06/the-war-against-the-unvaxxed-will-not-be-forgotten/

    “STORY AT-A-GLANCE

Fomenting hatred is a tool of tyrants, and over the past two years, political leaders, agency heads, academics, medical professionals and media personalities alike have publicly encouraged hatred and violence and wished painful death upon anyone who didn’t want to be part of the medical experiment that is the COVID jabs

Even now, with everything we know for sure about the jabs, the war against the unvaccinated continues in many areas, and ignorance of basic science still abounds

In recent weeks, we’ve seen the stage being set for another fabricated hate-fest. This time, the gay community is the designated enemy and target

Same-sex relations has been identified as the primary source of a global monkeypox outbreak. Will the gay community be targeted for exclusion, derision and attack in coming weeks and months, as the “monkeypox threat” continues to be hyped?

Fabrications are used to brainwash the public into hating truth-tellers and anyone who points out discrepancies in the narrative. It’s a dangerous path, and we’re still on it “

  17. Well, well it is ALL coming out now. Papers from the FDA admit the PCR test was not developed using virus isolates to standardize it or act as a marker. So Dr Fuellmich ( German lawyer) was right all along in how he has been developing his case —he has concentrated on the PCR test and it is so useless and therefore the basis for calling a pandemic is false

  18. Didn’t we just know this was so?

    BREAKING NEWS FROM TELEGRAM
Direct from UK Lawyer Anna De Buiscuit
    “SHARE SHARE SHARE!!!
Breaking news. share on all platforms: FDA document admits “Covid” PCR test was developed without isolated samples for test calibration, effectively admitting it’s testing something else.
A document just released by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) openly admits that the infamous PCR test for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) was developed not with actual samples, but rather with what appears to be genetic material from a common cold virus.
In the FDA document, it is clearly stated that ordinary seasonal flu genetic material was used as the testing marker in the PCR test kits because the authorities knew that many people would test “positive” for it, thus allowing them to use these results to create the “Covid” narrative.
It is somewhat of a lengthy read, but have a look for yourself and see the deception in plain sight. There is no legitimate test out there that accurately identifies the presence of SARS-CoV-2. From the document:
“Since no quantified virus isolates of the 2019-nCoV were available for CDC use at the time the test was developed and this study conducted, assays designed for detection of the 2019-nCoV RNA were tested with characterized stocks of in vitro transcribed full length RNA (N gene; GenBank accession: MN908947.2) of known titer (RNA copies/µL) spiked into a diluent consisting of a suspension of human A549 cells and viral transport medium (VTM) to mimic clinical specimen.”
Another revelation in the document is the admission by the FDA that test results are “pooled” together to produce numbers that are inaccurate. The FDA is quite literally manufacturing data to support a false narrative.
We are now at a crossroads worldwide. The time is upon us to decide if we are going to allow this type of medical fascism to persist, and impact upon the futures of our children. Or if we are finally going to say no to tyrannical government policy.

  20. The RBA has thrown markets a curve ball with a rate rise bigger than anybody predicted

Here we have Shock and Orr. In Australia we now have Lowe going High. The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has increased its official interest rate, the cash rate target to 0.85% from 0.35%.

The 50 basis point rise is much bigger than any economists predicted, with most expectations for a 25 basis point rise, though some, notably ANZ and Westpac expected 40. Nobody went for 50.

The Australian dollar immediately surged in reaction. The New Zealand dollar lost close to half a cent against the Aussie in the immediate aftermath. And perhaps more weakness can be expected in the short term. The kiwi was a A89.8c on the crosss rate a short while ago.

The travel detail reveals the pecking order, and when administrations change, these visits are ritual.

The number of new homes being built in Auckland is continuing to slowly decline.

The latest figures from Auckland Council show that the average number of new dwellings receiving Code Compliance Certificates (CCCs) has now declined for four consecutive months.

CCCs are issued when a building is completed, unlike building consents, which are issued before construction commences.

In April this year, 929 CCCs were issued by Auckland Council, down from 1223 in March and 990 in April last year.

In the 12 months to the end of April, 13,059 CCCs were issued for new homes, down from 13,130 in March and 13,209 in April last year.

April was the fourth consecutive month that the rolling 12 month total has declined, and it is now down by 9.4% since it peaked at 14,421 in June last year.

  22. Another brave act at the end of a gun.

Be afraid if you have to call these people out.

A man has died after being shot by police in Newlands, Wellington, today.

Police confirmed they were called to a family harm incident on Kingsbridge Place about 3pm.

“On arrival police made voice appeals to the man, who made threats to police and attempted to barricade himself inside the address with the victim,” police said in a statement.

“Police fired multiple shots at the man from outside the property, critically injuring him.

“Officers immediately rendered medical attention to the man and requested ambulance assistance, however the man died a short time later.

    • Never understood why you try and treat someone you have just tried to kill. a coup de grace would make more sense. Numerous shots? Are they that fucking useless?

Anyway since the protests this year and the massive police over reaction I can’t say I am too thrilled about them shooting anyone.

    • ““Officers immediately rendered medical attention”

Note they said “attention”, not “assistance”.

Officer Sam: “Got a pulse there, Baz?”
      Officer Baz: “Yeah Sam”
      Officer Sam: “OK, hang on. . . . . . . how about now?”

  23. I hate old people and kids being hurt. There should be an extra 10 years added to sentencing for violent or intimidation crimes against the elderly and children.

When you start the 1st Mars colony @elonmusk what documents would you recommend using to establish a governing system? U.S. Constitution/Bill of Rights? Universal Declaration of Human Rights? Humanist Manifesto? Atlas Shrugged? Against the State: An Anarcho-Capitalist Manifesto?

Direct democracy by the people. Laws must be short, as there is trickery in length. Automatic expiration of rules to prevent death by bureaucracy. Any rule can be removed by 40% of people to overcome inertia. Freedom.
