    • Don’t panic when everyone else is.
There is no reason for this other than doom merchants predicting Fear. Fear is false evidence appearing real.
The USA economy away from Wall st and California is chugging along
I watch the shipping in the Great Lakes and they have more boats running up and down the river system than they ever had. I’m talking 1000 footer barges with mined products. Haven’t looked but suspect that the Mississippi system will be the same.
The USA is quickly replacing China in its manufacturing.
China is the worlds problem.which can be ours but you know many companies here have gone from importing from china to making here again. Its a quite revolution. sure things cost more but that has the benefit of reducing the landfill waste.

The other thing that calls me to question all these screen watches is that they don’t read the news.
This year just past Fonterra and Zespri have had record years and record pay pout and both are predicting better in the coming year. That’s just 2 big income earners then there is the other fruit industries, the meat industry and so on Wine and even logs which while the price has dropped a bit as it always does in the Russian spring and summer.

But we spend too much on things like cars. everyone has to have a new car these days. That’s where the problem lies for NZ. wasted spending in pursuits of suppose happiness in a new car or allowing people not to work and be productive by having a benefit system that encourages it. Wasting millions on things like the fake covid and Maori this and that.

But that will stop as will the over enthusiasm for houses. We still need some but not where they are being built. Out there where the work is. Interest rates will slow all this down. They will stop a lot of spending on not really important things.

But then I’m not an expert just observe all those so called experts repeating history without context.

Oh and don’t forget the tourists and education. They are yet to start.

  1. Willie Jackson in charge of broadcasting? You think it’s dodgy now imagine what will happen in an election year. The good news is he has the brains of a chocolate fish and is famous for making stupid impulsive statements and generally sticking his foot in his mouth at every opportunity. With a little bit of baiting he could easily become the opposition’s best friend and a Mallard clone.

    • Willies day in the sun is coming, He has been a pusher of the jabby for his people.
Before long they are going to wake up to the deadly results of that jabby and willie and his Mate tamahere will find out how nasty life can be.
      Just wait a while.
apart from that Simon Power is in charge and I doubt he likes Willie and labour all that much.

All English will cease on all government funded broadcasting as of July. Only Te Reo will be broadcast and it’s your fault whitey if you can’t understand our fragrant language.
      Up your’s NZ!

    • I’d eat a chocolate fish. I wouldn’t eat Willie’s brain. That’s because there are some cultures who believe that eating an enemy’s brain gives them the enemy’s power and strength. Eating Willie’s brain would give you all of Willie’s stupid.

  2. Once, New Zealand was one of the few countries that did not have corruption among the politicians (or was that just a myth) I just don’t know any more, it all seems to be so corrupt and so hopeless. I have no idea what the future holds for New Zealanders, I shudder to think. This mad narcissist woman we have as dear leader, thinks she is above all, and doesn’t give a shit what any of her cabinet are doing, the more destructive the better. They all go on about climate change, yet the climate goes on doing what climate has done for thousands of years, there is little dispute if you look at how history has documented it all, they go on about my body my choice yet have the vaccine or….. the leftists have taken over the money of the world and it is none the better for it. Many of the right leaning politicians have turned to the left, and their policies so what difference will this worlds next election make. The weather is helping turn me into a depressed leftist hating individual. Oh that is right I was always one of those..The only good news is the duck is going but hanging on till August. Of course he is, getting as much of the New Zealand tax payer funds as possible, maybe his new posting is not quite as powerful as his role as speaker is, nor as money making. Fuck the lot of them.

in jail for murdering her sister in law. .
It’s just how it works in Arderns NZ, we have ex gangsters employed to fix the gang problems, ex drug addicts employed to fix the drug problems, ex alcoholics employed to fix the alcoholism problems and ex union officials, school teachers and lawyers failing miserably to fix our destroyed Country’s problems, but never fear NZRS the creature has reshuffled the deck chairs and things will be fine from now on..

    • see my post last night on this communist tart.
NEW JUSTICE MINISTER – Labour MP Kiri Allan Tapu in 2016 was paid by Boston USA based 350.org to go to the Dakota Access Pipeline / Keystone XL pipeline and fought to get it stopped. Her wife Natalie Coates also flew with her.
Kiri is on the board of 350.org, a globalist climate activist movement tightly connected to Soros, Obama and UN.
The resulting closure of that pipeline not only denied regional Native American Tribes of literally hundreds of millions in lifetime revenue, but it subsequently reversed the recent achievement of USA becoming entirely self reliant on energy and a net exporter, shuddering entire shale industry.
The success Trump created had to be reversed by the communists, because if the pipeline was open today, there would be no global gas crisis. The UN climate agenda, backed by the criminal elite has been weaponized to kill capitalism, break down industry and install communism. Or as Pierre Omidyar says “Pluralism”. F
Funny thing about Kiri Allan Tapu is that in 2007 she was arrested as part of the NZ Terrorist Raids, the entire aftermath of that case and the people points to SERIOUS deal making. Kiri was an intern for them Prime Minister Helen Clarke, so access to authority wasn’t a problem. Kiri’s wife is actually her lawyer from that time, the perceived success of her work allowing Natalie Coates to attend globalist think-tank Harvard University, which is well known to be at the centre of much of the disinfo used around the World on various UN agenda topics like climate, free speech, extremism, gender studies etc.

NZ is awash with climate communist agenda. Enviromental Defense Fund, Motu, OxfamNZ, 350.org.nz, ActionStation, Enspiral.
Kiwi’s need to deepen their personal understanding of just how fucking corrupted NZ is.

  4. COVID Jab Spike Remains in Body, Affects DNA: 1 Holistic Way to Repair DNA and Reduce Spike Damage
BY Dr. Yuhong Dong and Health 1+1 TIMEJune 3, 2022

A Stanford University study found that spike proteins were still present in the body 60 days after vaccination. On the other hand, some studies have found that COVID-19 vaccines and spike proteins may affect human DNA. So how can we reduce spike protein damage and repair our DNA?

The impact of COVID-19 mRNA vaccine spike proteins on human health has been a topic of growing interest recently.

Pfizer’s pharmacokinetic study submitted to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) showed that in vaccinated animals, the vaccine’s spike proteins were widely distributed in organs other than the injection site, including the spleen, liver, bone marrow, adrenal glands, and lymph. This experiment cannot be conducted in humans due to the harmful nature of isotope labeling, but it can be used as a reference. There are many other studies that show the vaccine spike proteins’ presence in multiple organs of the body.

Then, how long do the vaccine components remain in the human body?

  5. Latest Bad News About COVID Vaccines
BY Joseph Mercola TIMEJune 5, 2022 PRINT

From deaths due to vaccine-induced myocarditis to a significant increase in heart attack risk among youth, the risks tied to COVID-19 shots continue to grow – while their effectiveness in children reached an embarrassing low.

A previously healthy 36-year-old mother of two died 11 days after receiving a Pfizer COVID-19 shot.1 Initially, her cause of death was deemed inconclusive, but at an inquest, pathologist Dr. Sukhvinder Ghataura explained that he believes the COVID-19 shot was to blame. He told the coroner:2

“On the balance of probabilities, she had vaccine-related problems. There is nothing else for me to hang my hat on. It is the most likely reason, in my conclusion. It is more than likely Dawn died in response to the Covid jab.”

Government officials continue to deny deaths linked to Pfizer’s mRNA COVID-19 shot. In the U.S., they’ve only acknowledged nine deaths as causally associated with Johnson and Johnson’s COVID-19 shot as of May 10, 2022.3 But this case, which occurred in the U.K., highlights the potential dangers of shot-induced myocarditis.

  6. COVID Shots Weren’t Tested on Pregnant Women

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Pfizer attempted to hide COVID-19 shot clinical trial data for 75 years. “When I saw that, that’s when I got very vocal and said fraud has occurred. How do I know that? They won’t show us the clinical data,” former Blackrock portfolio manager Edward Dowd said.13 This should be a red flag for all Americans.

Now that a lawsuit forced the FDA to release thousands of the documents, data about what they were trying to hide is coming out. Among the revelations is evidence that Pfizer deliberately excluded pregnant women from COVID-19 shot trials. So how did they make the recommendation that the shots are safe and effective for pregnant women?

In an exclusive interview given to The Epoch Times, the recorder at the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office offered more insights into the risks of fraudulent registration forms leading up to the 2022 Primary Election and the efforts she and her team are working on to improve the process.

“Our primary is Aug. 2. We have received registration forms that are fraudulently completed,” Yuma County recorder Robyn Stallworth Pouquette, who provides oversight into the county’s voter registration and early voting, told The Epoch Times in an interview on June 7. “It’s been a prevalent problem in Yuma County, and it’s very unfortunate.”

Pouquette’s allegations come in addition to other witness reports and allegations of voting fraud that are the subject of 16 open investigations at the sheriff’s office.

Skills gap: Job ads on Seek rise to new record, applications fall 4 per cent
    14 Jun, 2022 06:06 AM

The number of jobs being advertised continues to outpace applications, as business struggle to fill skills gaps.

Figures from the job website Seek show job ads rose 3 per cent in May to a fresh record, and were 15 per cent higher than a year ago.

However, applications had fallen by 4 per cent.

I picked up one of those dividers that they keep by the cash register and placed it between our things so they wouldn’t get mixed. After the girl had scanned all of my items, she picked up the divider, looking it all over for the bar code so she could scan it.
Not finding the bar code, she said to me, ‘Do you know how much this is?’
I said to her ‘I’ve changed my mind; I don’t think I’ll buy that today.’
She said ‘OK,’ and I paid her for the things and left.
She had no clue to what had just happened.

      You patronise NEW WORLD?

Countdown is far cheaper, and has a greater range, and if you can’t go there, then try your local Fresh Choice.

Having tried all three, NW is by far the most expensive, doesn’t have a very good item / product range and is priced more towards the ‘Dairy’ end of the scale than the other two.

Just a suggestion FWIW. but one which might just save you a few more of your hard-earned dollars.

PARIS—For decades, European industry relied on Russia to supply low-cost oil and natural gas that kept the continent’s factories humming.

Now Europe’s industrial energy costs are soaring in the wake of Russia’s war on Ukraine, hobbling manufacturers’ ability to compete in the global marketplace. Factories are scrambling to find alternatives to Russian energy under threat that Moscow could abruptly turn off the gas spigot, bringing production to a halt.

  13. I would have hoped to have heard an utterance from Luxon and National that if Mallard gets a Diplomatic posting, should National secure the Treasury Benches next year, Mallard will be immediately recalled and a Career Diplomat replace him.

The man is a disgrace and not fit to serve New Zealand overseas or in any capacity for that matter.

But as Luxon and National have been and are silent on the matter, I can only concur that they agree with Ardern giving Mallard what he wants.

    17

  14. WG, that discussion shows a couple of things.

    1. The dishonest former President of the Labour Party, the man who went to Australia to dig dirt on John Key and found absolutely nothing is just Tribal Labour, deflecting from Ardern’s incompetence.

    2. Nothing will change with this Cabinet reshuffle. Incompetence will still rule. There is not one positive thing to come out of this major Cabinet reshuffle.

    3. Ardern will continue to be dishonest and lie, after all it was only last week she said she had confidence in Poto Williams. Well, clearly, no she didn’t, because within 7 days, Poto Williams was shown the door on the Police Portfolio. If she was competent last week but not this week, why change her?

I have a close mate, whose son was General Secretary of the Labour Party. He got the Arse Card, but in return was given a very plum job at Air NZ.

But, but, but in addition, his wife was also given a very plum Labour List position in the 2020 General Election. So she has got into Parliament on the back of someone else’s hard work and not through any efforts on her behalf. And you my friend, pay for all of this.

New blood, If this is the best they can do, then Labour is well stuffed.

    • I’ll have to go away and think about it.
I do know that the yen has significantly weakened against the $US and $NZ in the last month (which hurts because I get paid in yen).

On reflection, the article has some good points. Interest rates in Japan are incredibly low. BUT, inflation is back. The levels of debt (sourced domestically) in Japan are eye-watering.
The trouble is that the policymakers don’t want to upset anyone, so they do nothing. For decades. I think the higher interest rates are going to play havoc with debt repayment in Japan.

I think a fudge is in the works. The BoJ is going to pull a rabbit out of the hat, but it will be a very ugly bunny.

      Example 1
“Average prices for grocery food items like yoghurt, milk and cheese were all notably higher than they were in May 2021,” said Stats NZ consumer prices manager Katrina Dewbery.

      Then she claims this:

“Food prices have been pushing up throughout this year, partly driven by the impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.”

Well, I did not realise that the Ukraine was such an influential Dairy Producer and Exporter, so much so that even on the top rankings in the World the miniscule country, the UAE beats it. In fact in the top 10 of Dairy Exporters & Producers the Ukraine is not mentioned but the UAE is.

The Ukraine has little influence on Dairy prices but it is convenient to blame both the Russians and Ukraine War without giving actual analysis. The NZ Stats Consumer Prices Manager, Katrina Dewberry does not know shit from clay.

    • Jaffas shit dont stink so its algood to let it wash up on beaches//

I remember quite a few years ago probs 2013/14ish an irrate anti dairy farming homo fisherman from selwyn area was having a massive whinge at the non compliant dairy farms accross nz. At the time councils had just released the data on non compliance and to be honest it wasnt too bad yet mr homo fisherman wouldnt shut up so i promptly found the data on non compliant councils for sewage… the number was more then double that of non compliant farmers, he didnt believe me and done some research and attended a few ecanz meetings and found out that yup councils across nz were far bigger non compliant polluters then every dairy farmer in nz added together 🙂

Down here our local council was non compliant for over 3 years but they just kept voting to overturn the fines theyd fined themselves and turn a blind eye to it, i see last summer they were caught discharging non compliant green algal bloomed water direct into the river from the ponds… it was a great coincidence the council inspector couldnt find any evidence so dismissed it even tho there were numerous photos and videos of it from the public.

      6

      0

      • Same in the Wairarapa. Masterton spent a fortune on a new discharge to land plant but the nearby river still stinks. Further down the SWDC operate three sewage treatment plants in Greytown, Featherston & Martinborough but none of them are compliant.

Yet there’s always money for Civic centres, festivals, events & arts. All the local councils are chocka with arty farty socialists so sewage, water & roads don’t rate a care.

        • The demise of the borough councils was the start of our 3 waters problems.
The lil borough councils just got on with shit and got it done, now its layer upon layer of beuracracy and too hard to get a room full of ppl to agree on spending money on a bunch of pipes in the ground or a poo pond… fancy white elephants and dumbarse other projects that make feelz are a far easier sell. Plus the mayor would rather have his photo taken cutting a ribbon to an arty farty project and not an actualy farty shit treatment station.

    “This can’t be right
Pollution is caused by those naughty farmers letting their cows stand in the river and do poos.
We all know that right? Right?
Sewage in the sea from the most green-voting place in the land – it just can’t be.
    Let’s pretend it isn’t happening. Sssh! ”

Yet our all knowing and caring government has implemented legislation allowing massive in fill housing when the infrastructure can’t cope with the existing levels. Three 12 metre high houses per site anywhere in Auckland is what they are allowing.
Absolute disaster will be the outcome as policy not thought through and as usual passed despite all the expert opinion at select committee warning against it. I am not sure why this government bothers with select committees. By the way the legislation also applies to Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington and Christchurch.
Went to a meeting at Whangaparaoa on Saturday lead by two Auckland Councilors who are vehemently opposed. Good attendance as very few people are aware of what is happening.

  20. “FAIR PAY” AGREEMENTS: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Few policies are a total loss. Normally, it’s possible to at least say ‘I can see they were well intentioned,’ or ‘it was a good idea but they missed some important details,’ or, ‘bad policy, but good politics.’ So-called “Fair Pay” Agreements are one policy that has no saving grace. This week Free Press looks at how they’re supposed to work, and why they won’t.

The idea is simple, at first. If you are in an occupation (like video editor) or a sector group (like hospitality) then you can be subject to a Fair Pay Agreement that puts you all on one contract.

If a union can sign up 1,000 people, or 10 per cent of the workplace, or for any reason at all really (such as ‘a high proportion of the covered employees are employed by small-to-medium-sized employers’), then it can apply to the Chief Executive of MBIE. The Chief Executive can then decide to initiate bargaining between the union and an employer group.

Business New Zealand has said it just wouldn’t cooperate as an employer group. Labour has retaliated by saying that if employers don’t show up, the Employment Relations Authority will force an employment agreement on them in their absence!

Once bargaining is initiated, there is no way out. A fundamental principle of the legislation is that bargaining must result in a Fair Pay Agreement. Every person in that occupation or sector group must be on that contract. They can remain on an individual employment agreement or workplace collective agreement only if that agreement is judged to be more favourable to the employee than the FPA.

In the process, unions have the right to enter private property, demand employees’ contact details from employers, and hold meetings at employers’ expense. Curiously there is little obligation on unions. They are not obliged to inform people that there is bargaining underway, even if said people might find themselves subject to the agreement.

You have to join the bargaining even if you don’t join the union. However, a bonus payment for union members can be built into the agreement. It is one-way traffic.

Why? Well, ACT has calculated that 30 per cent of current Labour MPs are former union organisers or leaders. This compares with 0.026 per cent of all workers in New Zealand. Anyone wanting self-serving political change should study New Zealand’s union movement.

Then things get really complicated. What happens if you are in the wrong job? What if there are two bargaining rounds and it’s not clear which one you fit into? Inter-jurisdictional battles were infuriating in the 70s. Now there are many more jobs in a vastly more complex economy. This time they will be a nightmare.

The Fair Pay Agreements legislation is 160 pages long. It will not make anyone produce more, so New Zealand will not get richer. We will get slightly poorer, because an enormous amount of time will be spent navigating this process.

Jim Bolger is responsible. If you ever wondered why Free Press does not vote National, riddle us this: Can you imagine any current or former ACT leader writing a government report that recommends compulsory unionism? That’s where this came from.

The analysis in Bolger’s report is all wrong. It said that our productivity growth is low, and workers are getting a smaller share of what is produced in New Zealand. Those things are true, but not the whole truth.

As the New Zealand Initiative has shown in its comprehensive analysis, the labour share of GDP and the growth of labour productivity in New Zealand were worst in the period before the Employment Contracts Act of 1991. The ECA was brought in while the Prime Minister was… Jim Bolger. Labour productivity and the labour share of GDP improved once workers could negotiate their own conditions.

But, but, but… Australia. Yes, Australia has employment agreements like this. That’s true, but Aussies don’t like them. Here in New Zealand, 18 per cent of workers are members of a union. In Australia the same number is 14 per cent. Putting more people on union rates will not make us more like Australia.

Fair Pay Agreements are not fair, they’re not even agreements. They do not solve a correctly defined problem. They will not improve productivity. They will in fact lower it by tying up more people’s time in complex negotiations. They must go as quickly as they are introduced.

    Courtesy of ACT.

  22. Peters on why Mallard is movin on.

    MALLARD RESIGNATION A COVER-UP

The reason given by the Prime Minister for Speaker Trevor Mallard’s resignation is not the full truth and can be nothing other than an attempted cover-up.

On the 25th May the Speaker received a letter from my Solicitors concerning his decision to trespass me and hundreds of others during February’s parliamentary protest.

In that letter, it was made clear that there would be court action taken against Mr Mallard if he did not provide specific explanations, documents, and referenced authority with which he, in a free and democratic society, trespassed hundreds of New Zealand citizens from the Nation’s Parliament.

Both Mallard and the Prime Minister knew that he was facing potential prosecution for his actions and can be no coincidence that the announcement of his resignation comes just two weeks after my Solicitor’s letter was sent to his office.

If the Prime Minister didn’t know, then Mallard has deliberately kept this information from her.

If the Prime Minister did know, then there can be no other explanation other than this is an attempt to cover-up Mallard’s behaviour and to allow the government to save face.

Mallard has brought the position of Speaker into disrepute by attempting to quietly retire to a diplomatic post without facing the consequences of his actions.

The fact that both the Prime Minister and Mallard believe he is still suitable for a diplomatic post after his diabolical behaviour throughout his tenure, is an affront to both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to New Zealand.

New Zealanders deserve better, and they deserve to know the truth – that is why, having sought replies from the Speaker that address the seriousness of this matter and failed, I have now instructed my Solicitors to issue proceedings forthwith.

  23. World Council for Health release report that confirms evidence for the Recall of Covid-19 Vaccines due to the large number of adverse events.

    Covid-19 Vaccine Pharmacovigilance Report
    Posted on
    June 11, 2022
This report was prepared by the World Council for Health (WCH). The report was prepared to determine whether sufficient pharmacovigilance data exists on WHO VigiAccess, CDC VAERS, EudraVigilance, and UK Yellow Card Scheme to establish a safety signal on Covid-19 vaccines.

These databases are not normally used to establish the safety of an intervention. However, Covid-19 vaccines are in Phase 3 trials, and their safety and efficacy have not yet been established. The majority of those who have received the intervention (several billion people) are not being monitored by the trials. In this report, the WCH aims to use these established pharmacovigilance databases to detect if there is a concerning safety signal in those not being monitored by the clinical trials.

This report collates pharmacovigilance data about Covid-19 vaccines and other commonly administered interventions from these databases. It collates data about the types of adverse event reports linked to Covid-19 vaccines on these databases. Using data from VAERS, FAERS, and historical records, the report collates data about the rate of adverse events that have been sufficient for product recall in the past.

On Friday, Senator Gerard Rennick posted a ‘Freedom of Information’ (FOI) release on Facebook that was shared with him earlier in the week. In the release Queensland’s Chief Health Officer (CHO) John Gerard admits vaccine efficacy wanes after six months, and states that, as a result the benefit of the exclusion of unvaccinated people is no longer justifiable.

  26. Earlier today I had an email from the local medical centre I’m enrolled with urging me to join some crap called “Managemyhealth”. Working on the principle that anything they endorse will be bad for me I won’t be participating but have any of our fellow commenters had experience with the organisation, good or bad?

Apple apps website reviews slate them as hopeless.

    • A number of times my local med centre also wants me to enroll, to that “ManageMyHealth” but I have stayed clear.
Possibly could be ok, but like fire, a good servant, but a bad master.
Enough of those Doctors, receptionists & nurses are true believers, that they are God, but so far have done the job for me.
Just that these days I have learnt not to trust them, seeing they have got it wrong on some smaller things, and now the big things, like Covid itself, and then the vaxx issues.

When Waikato DHB had a hacking there, I did get some funny e-mails, that seemed to tie in with the Medical Centre.
I told them at reception asking what was that about??
Their re-action, do not open them, Put them into junk, and if you can remove from your computer…

So that is how I now view their invitation to “manage my health” 🙂

“Apple apps website reviews slate them as hopeless. “
      Thanks;— Interesting to hear that.

Ringing them up, leaving a message about my repeat meds, they calling back, plus they also have my cell phone number is more than enough, and seems to work pretty well, even if it a half day later when they respond.

The only part, but not sure if it is a bait, then switch, to entice, to join.
Supposedly you can get to see all your medical records dating to how far back? All of this century, and even further back?
Would that be helpful and easy if you go travel far off in NZ or overseas,, for repeat meds? or for any other issues that may arise?
      = – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
I have been in the past week looking to head up to my provincial centre to catch up with Chemist ware house.

Certain vitamins I want which the local chemist does not seem to stock, plus many things expensive, so I do check super market & warehouse.

At the Chemist warehouse I am looking to get an oxygen monitoring gadget, though I have just looked again, and the choice & range is much reduced. It seems they fly off the shelves, as it mentions “Product in high demand”. Still less than $100
      https://www.chemistwarehouse.co.nz/search?searchtext=oxygen%20monitor

Also to measure blood pressure whizmo, seeing a range of $35 to $200, I guess to how automated it is.

Will be simple to do in the car, maybe before then after Doctors appointment to figure how much difference, to see how your kit relates to figure a bench mark.

A bit like my home weigh scales, always weighs me 5 kg too light compared to any medical weighing.

      • I haven’t found any problem on my “MMH” but at a different GP’s office my friend recoiled when she found a serious mental illness diagnosis had been wrongly added to her health records which she reported and had removed. At least MMH gives you a chance to note what they have recorded under your name.

        7

        0

        • That is interesting waikatogirl to see what they note under your name.
Amazing experience for your friend, but then I should not be surprised these days.

I have only ever had one Doctor do a printout of some part of my file, which gave a damm great back ground of my meds, and where & why the side effects.
We then worked out the best way out of it.
At that time I rated that Doctor absolute tops.

A few years later, most disappointing when that same Doc. pushed me to be vaxxed.
And denied that problems of a flue & shingle vax just a month before, on the same day could have caused any problems as they were both a dead vaxx.

I now rank him as an average, and figure that we ourselves must do much more, where we can, and know how to question much more.
My own note book, in a “health bag” seems to be over the top, but those dates, times, which Doctors & where gives me much more confidence where I am at with these Doctors, these days.
I also think it pulls the Doctor up, when you pull out the note book and make a few jottings. 🙂

          Thanks Pinky1.
Also a thermometer and charting the time and temp, gives a great point of whether some thing serious is happening to your body.

      • …..”Just that these days I have learnt not to trust them, seeing they have got it wrong on some smaller things, and now the big things, like Covid itself, and then the vaxx issues.”……

You put it well S1. Those who have convinced themselves of their Godlike status tend to think that us lesser mortals should entrust our private information & contact details to them as their self conferred right.

I happen to disagree & it’s not a stand that guarantees instant popularity. From the pimply faced yob who has to know my cellphone number before he can sell me a widget to the supercilious practise nurse who insists on being able to contact me 24/7 at her convenience all founder on the reef of my absolute refusal to reveal any contact details other than my PO Box or a disposable email address.

I read somewhere that your personal data was your most valuable asset though it’s definitely an overstatement. Certainly by the actions of those determined to know details about my life or person that are of absolutely none of their fucking business I’m inclined to cling to my obsession of denying them that information.

Banks, doctors, local bodies & government departments included.

        • So right nasska;—- a whole change of philosophy has been slipped in, like for “every one’s good ! ” that rides on points like “precautionary principles”, safey & health, lockdowns, etc..
In that change it has disposed of the respect of the individual, while claiming that it respects your gender binary fluidity, so long as you do not create un-biased micro-aggression’s that will trigger others to feelz unsafe. etc..

Now you can call me Doctor for that word soup above but sadly I know I will not feel the good $change entering my pocket. 🙂

Fortunately many years ago a comment about my email address, and to protect it. That made me cautious who has it, though over time it has been harder to not let that out.
However another email address, with minimum particulars helps, 🙂
Sometimes sink it, and start another, and only people of value may be referred on to the change.

The problem of the cell phone number leaks out, but like you I have minimized that.

Not a bad obsession in this obsessive hungry world for data.

  28. SHUFFLING DE-FACED CARDS: JACINDA’S “NEW” CABINET

With so many of her Labour caucus looking as if they’ll lose their seats at the next election, I expected Jacinda’s recent Cabinet changes to promote lots of new faces from the backbenches with the intention of giving her ministry a new look. Maybe she’d give a few of her caucus more experience of government. But then I reviewed the people on offer and realized that she had little choice. Lots of low-level lawyers, educationalists, health workers and student politicians with little experience except working for trade unions. No commercial experience. No stars. Thus, Jacinda had little alternative to re-shuffling her current de-faced set of cards. She passed over re-promoting Phil Twyford, and she ignored Aupito William Sio, Rino Tirikatene and Deborah Russell, bringing into Cabinet only Priyanca Radhakrishnan. Kieran McAnulty got a junior ministerial role outside Cabinet. There’ll be a new Speaker with the ever-so-undiplomatic Trevor Mallard setting off on a diplomatic career. He’s better than the egregiously undiplomatic Louisa Wall who was recently bumped from Parliament to what has been billed as a diplomatic post in the Pacific, much to the horror of the Foreign Ministry. I realise that is scarcely high praise for Trevor.

  30. Govt review looks at returning wine and beer to corner stores

Ministers are investigating whether a ban on alcohol sales in dairies and convenience stores has unduly impeded other retailers taking on the two big supermarket chains

Convenience stores have welcomed a Government review that will consider letting them resume selling beer and wine, 10 years after a legal crackdown intended to stop the proliferation of easy-to-access booze outlets.

The Night ‘n Day chain – which with 57 stores is New Zealand’s biggest grocery chain after Foodstuffs and Woolworths – says it would welcome the opportunity to responsibly sell alcohol at up to 25 of its bigger stores around the country. Until a 2012 law change, managing director Matthew Lane says 85 percent of its stores were licensed to sell alcohol.

But the prospect of loosening alcohol sales rules is greeted with trepidation by health watchdogs such as the Auckland Regional Public Health Service and Alcohol Healthwatch.

“We oppose any relaxation to our weak liquor laws, particularly any amendment that would result in increased alcohol availability in communities,” says Dr Nicki Jackson, the executive director of Alcohol Healthwatch.

Nor was she able to get an exemption, as the heart damage was not considered to be permanent.

A part of the problem is that many, if not all of the still practicing doctors, nurses, staff etc.. have had to keep up with the number of jabbs.
So they can understandably feel like little “Gods”; having little or no trouble with the vaxxes so far. 🙁
Perhaps a bit unfair, but you can see some of the selfrightousness.

When are we going to have all of these Mandatory tyrannical vaxxes STOPPED ! ! !

    Floyd : —-
Wondering about the vax passes too, as they must still be going on the record for this nurse.
Also I have not checked but did see a mention elsewhere the the “health emergency” concept what ever that is, has been extended.
Yet the government is deviously creating the health emergency with sacking staff, and making it impossible like for rest homes, so they close, so where do those residents end up? to then overload Hospitals?
I have heard this is also happening in Western Australia with the rest homes closing too. Seems like a pattern.

Also Fire & Ambulances I recall also laid staff off if they were not vaxxxed.
Shortage of ambulances, that is staff? longer times to arrive?
