“We believe that the 2020 election violated Article 1 and 2 of the US Constitution, that various secretaries of state illegally circumvented their state legislatures in conducting their elections in multiple ways, including by allowing ballots to be received after November 3, 2020,” states a resolution passed on June 18, the last day of a three-day biennial Texas Republican convention held in Houston, the Texas Tribune reported.

  4. More Pharma control on the way. We are having the same issue. Fauci and his mates are trying to control everything. Not sure how the Tangata will like this.

A well-organized, coordinated campaign from the FDA and Big Pharma is threatening access to the supplements you depend on. Using the false premise that supplements are unsafe, the FDA is working to gain more power over the regulation of supplements in order to further solidify Big Pharma’s monopoly over medicine. These efforts must be opposed.

Write to Congress and tell them to oppose efforts to establish a “mandatory filing” for supplements.

We encourage you to personalize the message if you have time!

Her husband has threatened extreme violence on neighbours.

And personal observation from being on clogged motorways when emergency vehicles are trying to get through, is that the ONE (And there is ALWAYS one) vehicle that will not pull over is invariably a late model and expensive one driven by a Chinese individual of either sex, who will simply NOT make any move to get out of the way; despite frantic horn and siren -blasting from the emergency vehicle (including Police). I have no idea why this occurs, but the car driver-concerned seems almost to be paralysed by fear and literally incapable of taking any evasive action (Although alternatively they possibly revert to the ‘non-comprende’ state and simply do not understand what is expected of them).

It’s an interesting phenomenon, and must drive the ‘Emergency’ Drivers nuts…

    • TAH…
Global warming?…It appears that you and I never got the memo about the name change. It is now ‘Climate Change’ and it features in almost every article you read and on almost any subject. The link to the Blobfish yesterday had it, and I was just reading about the hundreds of blue penguins being washed up dead on northern beaches on the DOC website that correctly attributed the deaths to the El Niño weather pattern, but then in the last paragraph had to put a plug in for climate change. These penguin deaths were occurring many years before the time we were supposed to be heading into the new ice age.

It would not surprise me that pushing climate change is part of The Public Interest Journalism Fund deal.

    • Komata, this is not a conspiracy but an actual occurrence before the country’s very eyes, to rest control of the country from a democratic process to new control by IWI and Maori Elite. This is added and abetted by Local Government New Zealand and people like Stuart Crosby (Chairman LGNZ) and the Mayor of Ruapehu, Don Cameron and Aaron Hawkins, Mayor of Dunedin, all who are very keen to give the democracy of this country away.

I have had dealings with Mayor Cameron and I am surprised he was not born into one of the local IWI, so close is he to local Maori and so willing is he to pass control of the Council and Ratepayer owned assets of 3 Waters to them without consultation with the Ratepayers. Cameron and Ruapehu Council even got a legal opinion from their Lawyers which said they did not have to consult on 3 Waters with their Ratepayers on the matter.

As for the Weasel Nanaia Mahuta and what she is doing to the democracy and democratic processes in this country, one has to wonder how she sleeps straight in bed.

Great work by the daily Examiner.

Oh, for the start of the revolution.

    • Some background to Mahuta’s family.

      Hat tip to Maggy Wassilieff
For folks interested in the origin of the Mahuta – Ormsby connection:

2 Feb, 2001 …. In 1963 a young Maori miner with a European name reinvented himself.

With a Huntly solicitor as witness, 24-year-old Robert Jeremiah Ormsby changed his name by deed poll to Robert Te Kotahi Mahuta.

The name change was ambitious – Te Kotahi means “number one” in Maori, while Mahuta was the name of the third Maori King.

While broadly hinting at personal aspirations, the new name was at least in line with the young man’s blood connections with the Maori royal family. ….

  6. This is just obscene.

If you Teach Maori Language at School, your pay will increase from $23.03 per hour to $41.31 per hour.

Firefighters get offered a 1.5% pay increase and they do Gods work.

But if you teach a language which is absolutely useless to neither God nor Man the Government will give you a 83% pay increase.

This Government is fucking useless. $41.31 per hour to teach a dead language that outside this country, no one has either heard of or speaks it. No one gets paid $41.31 to teach English or New Zealand Sign Language (which like Maori is the only other official language of this country). Racism, lots.

  8. An elderly lady was throwing a party for her granddaughter and had gone all out….. a caterer, band, and a hired clown.
Just before the party started, two bums showed up looking for a handout.
Feeling sorry for the bums, the woman told them that she would give them a meal if they will help chop some wood for her outback.
Gratefully, they headed to the rear of the house.
The guests arrived and all was going well with the children having a wonderful time.
But the clown hadn’t shown up.
After a half an hour, the clown finally called to report that he was stuck in traffic and would probably not make the party at all.
The old woman was very disappointed and unsuccessfully tried to entertain the children herself.
She happened to look out the window and saw one of the bums doing cartwheels across the lawn.
She watched in awe as he swung from tree branches, did mid-air flips, and leapt high in the air.
She spoke to the other burn and said,
“What your friend is doing is absolutely marvellous. I have never seen such a thing. Do you think your friend would consider repeating this performance for the children at the party? I would pay him $50!”
    The other bum says,
“Well, I dunno. Let me ask him.”
“HEY W!LLIE! FOR $50, WOULD YOU CHOP OFF ANOTHER TOE?”

    • I am waiting for what is termed as ‘Urgent” surgery, As I had heard nothing for months since my initial diagnosis and a couple of consults with the surgeon, even though I have emailed the booking clerk and phoned them also, that went to answer phone, I went to my Doctor yesterday to ask what is going on. He emailed an enquiry to them immediately. The Doctor said there was such a shortage of nurses and no beds as there are no nurses to work. This morning I received a call from the booking clerk who was going to phone me (hahaha) to say urgent operation waits are around 8 to 10 months and that she expects the soonest she can get me in for surgery is perhaps August. What a health system we have. They are months and months behind. I feel for the nursing staff and Doctors and ancillary staff it must be ghastly working under those circumstances. But but but….. we have a new Maori health service so Angry can’t fix one health system but starting another. Angry Little has issues that cannot be described what a loon. FFFJA

  10. Clarke decides to go horse riding after the recent nanny problems. Although he has had no previous experience he skilfully climbs into the saddle & appears in complete command of the situation as the horse gallops along at a steady pace.

    Cindy admiringly watches her partner.

After a short time Clarke becomes a little casual & as he begins to lose his grip in the saddle he panics & grabs the horse around the neck shouting for it to stop. Cindy starts to scream & shout for someone to help her partner as Clarke has by this time slipped completely out of the saddle & is only saved from hitting the ground by the fact that he still has a grip of the horse’s neck. Clarke decides that his best chance is to leap away from the horse but his foot has become entangled in one of the stirrups. As the horse gallops along Clarke’s head is banging on the ground & he is slipping into unconsciousness. Cindy is now frantic & screams & shouts for help!!

Hearing her screams, the Mall Security Guard comes out of the store & unplugs the horse.

I’m only a dumb ex rigger/scaffoler/truckdriver but I have spent a few years out in the Tasman Sea watching waves and boats go up and down from the Maui platforms and think that Moves plan for a roll on roll off ship plan from NP to Nelson is fraut with problems by using that barge and not a enclosed ship!
Maybe they are planning to use it for fine weather shipping with lots of time sitting in port waiting for a weather wind!
Do they realise there is a truck sitting on the bottom out near Maui that fell off the back off the boat?
I think that the name of the company is appropriate, MOVE. Because that’s right it’s going too, up and down and side to side, some of them at the same time!

    • That’s what crossed my mind when I saw the photo of the proposed RORO ferry last night Sooty. Probably flat bottomed or close to it & it’s load of trailers with containers would suggest a very high centre of gravity.

Still the scow “Echo” which was a vessel with a shallow draught with stabilising centreboards did 15,000 Cook Strait crossings so maybe it will work.

      Sooty I wondered that too.
However I figure it is the journalist, editor and using a photo hand out.
They should be well aware of the Cook Strait, and South Taranaki BIght, and the major tide heights range at the New Plymouth Harbour.

You will see the “Firefly” ferry is in Move Logistic colours,
Maybe some one knows where that ferry is working? Bay of Islands? Marlborough Sounds? Hauraki Gulf?

      In the meantime:—
…. Move will now buy and refit a quarter-ramp roll on/roll off vessel, …..
      .
…. capable of calling into at least thirteen New Zealand Ports, …
      .
….. to offer blue-water alternatives to trucking. ….

So not that one in the picture.
They should know what they are doing.

I am more interested to know, how many trucks, that is their trailer units will be transported per week?
How many sailings per week do they expect to average?

I see the Awakino Tunnel has been swapped out to the new section.
No real start on the Mt Messenger section, as the canoe paddlers are still culturally ‘batting’ to the disturbing taniwha.
Now trying to stop the overhead “gondola” that will give access to the new section.

      • It will close the circle if coastal shipping is brought back from the dead. As a kid I spent untold hours on the wharves at Gisborne, Tolaga Bay & Tokomaru Bay with my old man & my brother fishing for herring surrounded by coastal ships. From https://nzsf.org.nz/about-shipping-in-new-zealand

……”According to the Ministry of Transport, the cost of shifting a standard container door-to-door from Auckland to Christchurch by coastal ship is $850 – $1300, compared with $2200-$3000 by road or $1300 – $1900 by rail.

One major reason for this cost differential is shipping’s advantage in fuel efficiency. The Swedish Network for Transport and the Environment has calculated that ships are more than six times as fuel efficient (per tonne/kilometre) than a medium sized truck. “……

        8

        0

        • After the truck has picked up the container from the factory and then after the ship moves, taken it from the ship to the factory again! With time delays each end as well! With maybe and extra port or two between!

          5

          0

        • A fuel efficiency may seem to be focus, but the focus is on “Net Zero Carbon Emissions” at all costs.

I do not know now, but it used to be that one could sent a container from New Zealand to England and back for less than the price to send it 1 way from New Zealand to Australia.

Not too far wrong between the North & South Island.
It has always been blurred what the real cost of shipping in New Zealand in those days, when rail was protected by distance limits placed on trucks.
Trucking got around it but it still added their costs, but still competitive & convenient compared to rail
Shipping issues priced itself off the market.

I still like the concept of shipping & rail, where reasonably possible.

But more than enough of a realist that the government & unions & now cultural taniwha through their laws, regulations, fees, levies, etc., will stuff it again, as Kea above simply puts it.
Keep the taxpayers money out of it.

      • S1, I certainly would not wish to place a $500,000 B-Double on any open vessel like the “Move Flirefly” as shown in your linked article on an open water run like that from New Plymouth to Nelson.

The exposure to salt water and salt spray, for such an expensive investment like the purchase cost of current large truck and trailer units, to me would not be what I would want to expose it too.

To me, the vessel configuration shown is not ideal for this run or very exposed water and does not seem to protect the cargo greatly.. I would suggest even the draft of the vessel shown would not be what I would wish to travel on for such water.

I come from a large part of my business life of Ship Chartering and buying and selling large commercial vessels for shipowners worldwide and being Chartering Manager for large Danish and British Shipowners.

  12. For all Labour Party people
There once was a happy little fly buzzing around a barn,
When she came upon a large pile of fresh manure produced by the stock bull:
Since it had been hours since her last meal and she was feeling hunger pains,
She flew down to the irresistible delicacy and began to munch out.
She ate …… and ate … and then …. she ate some more!
Finally, she decided she’d had plenty.
She washed her face with her tiny front legs, belched a few times, then attempted to fly away.
But alas …she had pigged out far too much and could not get off the ground.
She looked around wondering what to do about this unpleasant situation when she spotted a pitchfork leaning upright against the barn wall.
    She’d found a solution!
She realised that if she could just become airborne she’d be able to fly again.
So, she painstakingly climbed to the top of the handle.
Once there, she took a deep breath, spread her tiny fly wings, and leapt confidently into the air.
She dropped like a rock and splattered all over the floor…Dead fly…
The moral of this sad story?
Never fly off the handle when you know you’re full of bullish!t.

They are in Christchurch at the moment and have had two of their venues cancelled on them at the last moment. Last night they were meant to speak at a Baptist Church hall but were cancelled (before the ChCh people quickly organised another venue). But instead of just walking away they did a livestream outside the Church telling everyone what had happened and how the church had joined the cancel culture club (Church staff were in their offices at the time). Carlene highlighted the hypocrisy of a church stopping a talk about child trafficking, pedophilia etc. The person who originally organised the church hall as a venue, went inside and talked to them. They came out and said the church had been rung from some one higher up in the church, from the North Is., telling them to cancel.
What are they worried about ?? Do the Baptists have history like some in the Catholic church ?

  16. The Gay Ranch Hand!
A successful rancher died and left everything to his devoted wife. She was a very good-looking woman and
determined to keep the ranch, but knew very little about ranching, so she decided to place an ad in the
    newspaper for a ranch hand…
Two cowboys applied for the job. One was gay and the other a drunk.
She thought long and hard about it, and when no one else applied she decided to hire the gay guy, figuring
it would be safer to have him around the house than the drunk.
He proved to be a hard worker who put in long hours every day and knew a lot about ranching..
For weeks, the two of them worked, and the ranch was doing very well.
Then one day, the rancher’s widow said to the hired hand, “You have done a really good job, and the ranch
looks great. You should go into town and kick up your heels.” The hired hand readily agreed and went into
    town one Saturday night.
One o’clock came, however, and he didn’t return.
Two o’clock and no hired hand.
Finally he returned around two-thirty, and upon entering the room, he found the rancher’s widow sitting by
the fireplace with a glass of wine, waiting for him.
She quietly called him over to her..
“Unbutton my blouse and take it off,” she said.
Trembling, he did as she directed. “Now take off my boots.”
He did as she asked, ever so slowly.. “Now take off my socks.”
He removed each gently and placed them neatly by her boots.
    “Now take off my skirt.”
He slowly unbuttoned it, constantly watching her eyes in the fire light.
“Now take off my bra..” Again, with trembling hands, he did as he was told and dropped it to the floor.
Then she looked at him and said, “If you ever wear my clothes into town again, you’re fired.”

  18. Not only is the energy situation in Europe a laugh but it also shows how very fragile their system is and how little understanding the politicians and bureaucrats have had of that fragility. Even President Trump understood it better than them —he said several years ago they should not rely so heavily on Russian gas. Now the idiots impose sanctions on Russia and shoot themselves in the foot with a massive canon.
Meanwhile Shaw and Luxon say we should worry about a few cow farts !!!!

  19. From https://expose-news.com/2022/06/21/new-study-shows-falling-sperm-counts-post-injection/?cmid=242c61e2-5b33-4138-ba8a-e8215c46a7d9

……”On Friday, the journal Andrology published a peer-reviewed paper showing large decreases in sperm counts among men after the second dose of Pfizer’s mRNA Covid jab.”…….

The professional liars & spin merchants titled “Reuters Fact Check” waded in to stem the damage but their facts didn’t tally with the bullshit.

……” the actual data in the paper do not really support the argument that sperm levels returned to normal after five months. In fact, by some measures, levels continued to decline.”…….

The vaccinated fools have part sterilised themselves. Darwin rides again!

    • The worst part is what it will do with the 6mth – 5 year old kids
The 5 year old to 11 year olds.
When they get older, when the damage may not be apparent for another 5 to 15 years.
Over the years how many top up mRNA vaxxes will they have received?

We must note that at this stage the systemic health system is NOT seeking to find any problems, like no full on autopsies for the ones who died of Covid, or to see what vaxx damage is being done to ones who succumb with unusual problems after the vaxx.

At the same time the drug industry is pushing to gain another ‘ratshit’ for another safeguard to hide behind of no liability if those mRNA jabs can be included in a “childhood program of vaccines”.
While they still can make, produce & sell more vaxxes to gullible government autocracy that will enforce it by more controls.

The other part is the desire to change the adjuvants of the flue vaxxes to tie in with mRNA.

Until our Doctors figure, look, seek, to find answers to these problems, they are Not Doctors.
So I hope they regularly stay fully jabbed, so it will become “Physician, Heal thyself” when the problems land on their bodies.

And have they donated their body to science? to have things fully checked out.
All to help the monitoring for phase 3 experiment as called for by the Nuremberg Code of Research and The Helsinki Declaration
Yeah I know, that is not so easy a track to do.
But then, will our Doctors finance a bequest from their estate for a full autopsy any way? Since this is still a phase 3 experimental trial with just an EUA “Emergency Use Approval”

      • S1 it could take 15-20yrs to find out the full effects.
Jabbing 5-10yr olds could have a far different effect then those born to jabbed up mothers or when mothers got jabbed whilst pregnant.

The pfizer abortions should be enough to ring alarm bells but deafening silence.
Of all our mates and family that have had/trying for kids over the last 10yrs theres only been a handfull of miscarriages… now among freinds, family and coworkers pretty much every one of them that are trying to start a family has had at least 1 miscarriage, one extended family member (mandated teacher but a tripple vax sheep anyway) has just lost her third pregnancy in a row.
Funny thing is a couple of their midwives that were utter vax nazis have now done a 180 and quietly advising to not get boosted.

  20. I just got a notice on Telegram saying they now have 700 million active users. So I looked up Twitter and to my surprise they are only talking about 220 million.
I realise they are different types of platforms but they are both “influencing” type media.

    • It surprises me that it’s that way round considering anyone can read twitter, member or not, but much on telegram is restricted to members only.
Maybe it’s the thrill of using something called telegram that appeals to young people who would never have received or sent one and the joy of trying to convey a message in few words…sounds like twitter when it began with 140 characters.

  21. Another little low life dishonest Scrot.

“His counsel Mark Jepson described the offending as a fall from grace, and it was the first time he had driven since being disqualified for seven years in April, 2018.”

Really. What would the likelihood of being caught, the first time you drive while disqualified? Nil!

    • A scrote he may well be but the details of the original offence are interesting. Essentially he was the driver of a car involved in an illegal road race. The other car crashed & all four occupants were killed. He & his passenger were found guilty of leaving the scene without stopping to give assistance which is fair enough but to my mind charging him with four counts of manslaughter when he wasn’t the driver of the vehicle involved smacks of nanny stating & blame sharing at a stratospheric level.

      Just my two bob’s worth.

        • I don’t doubt that you’re on the money but it shows just how ridiculous the law as enacted is.

If I hand someone a gun & they shoot a third party then to my mind that’s aiding & abetting. Yet it would appear that if I’m driving a vehicle & another driver wants to go faster then me then the law states that I’m responsible for his/her actions & the consequences.

Alas, I’m an uneducated, retired cocky so I don’t get to make vote buying laws & I don’t get to interpret them.

        • Mcduff…
Here are the elements of the charge…
Crimes Act 1961, section 66 Parties to offences
          (1) Every one is a party to and guilty of an offence who—
          (a) actually commits the offence; or
          (b) does or omits an act for the purpose of aiding any person to commit the offence; or
          (c) abets any person in the commission of the offence; or
          (d) incites, counsels, or procures any person to commit the offence.
(2)Where 2 or more persons form a common intention to prosecute any unlawful purpose, and to assist each other therein, each of them is a party to every offence committed by any one of them in the prosecution of the common purpose if the commission of that offence was known to be a probable consequence of the prosecution of the common purpose.

      • Kea….I am only surmising here that this was the charge. I am assuming that he was a party to the offence of Dangerous Driving Causing Death by way of his participation in the road race as per subsection 1a and b of above. The argument being that you can’t race yourself therefore he was a party. No race = no deaths.

Nasska…carrying on from your gun analogy, what if you are playing a game of Russian roulette with the person you handed the revolver to and he loses the game. Are you a party to his death? If it wasn’t for the game that you were both playing like the car racing, then the guy you were playing with would not have blown his brains out…there is a specific offence for aiding and abetting suicide and I would think that would be more the appropriate charge for the R/roulette scenario but the argument still stands in MHO.

        4

        0

        • I would have thought that the onus would be on the crown to prove that it was a race & were I accused of participating I don’t think that I’d agree that I knew that it was. The four fatalities occurred when the car they were in was on the wrong side of the road & went head on into a van travelling in the opposite direction. Unless the defendant admitted he was racing it could easily be argued that it was an overtaking manoeuvre that went wrong.

As I’ve stated above the guy is a total arsehole but currently I’m not feeling much love for police, politicians or the fucked up laws they create.

          5

          0

          • Nasska….I thought I read that he had recorded the race on his phone and had deleted the end of it that actually showed the crash and the lead up to it. That being the case, then he proved that he was racing all by himself and all the Crown had to do was produce the remaining recording and I am guessing here, the recovered deletion, going by the statement that they knew exactly how much had been wiped and that it related to the crucial time around the crash.
When confronted with the recording, did he admit his actions? I don’t know anything about the case apart from what’s in the above link, but it would not surprise me that there would have been other road users who witnessed the racing.
What did the passenger have to say?

            2

            0

            • Not correct. The passenger was doing the recording:

……”The police also charged Cossey’s front seat passenger Stephen Jones with four counts of manslaughter – charges laid on the basis he was allegedly encouraging Cossey to commit an illegal act. The jury found Jones not guilty of those charges, but guilty of perverting the course of justice by deleting 20 seconds of apparently crucial footage he took of the moments before and after the smash.”……

              2

              0

              • Nasska…so much for my comprehensions skills…but in any event there appears to have been a recording of the racing. Clearly Jones wasn’t a passive passenger and reading between the lines, must have recorded himself egging the driver on.
Too many unknowns…eg did the other car’s occupants record the racing on their cell phones which would have been recovered and viewed by the cops…knowing these modern kids, that wouldn’t surprise me either.

  22. Angry littles days as health minister are numbered, media arent gunna let this one slide and luxtard n co are beating war drums over the “health crisis”.

I sense another one of cindys “minor reshuffles” in the making, pity the maggot dosent take responsibility as its her retarded covid decisions that was the straw that broke the camels back.
Add to that brainwashing a country into panicking over a sneeze or runny nose, encouraging healthy people to think theyre gunna die, forcing nurses and doctors to quit over a a stupid failed vaccine and its just a recipie for disaster.

Own this jacinda, you “saved” 80k 2 yrs ago and now youre intent on killing them all anyway.

    • Those same folk pushing to respect the day and its meaning are the same ones that will make a drunken mess of themselves at xmas.
Perhaps they should embrace christian values and respect the real meaning behind xmas… yeah i know, tui billboard and someone get a defibrillator for nasska.

Im sure iwi leaders are pushing for a ban on the sale of alcohol on matariki so their ppl dont bring their special day into disrepute and fully embrace the day and its deep meaning////

      • I don’t doubt that the present demands for a ban on alcohol on Maori Day are anything other than the normal separatist crap but it’s not hard to find resistance to alcohol on the part of Maori leaders.

The Early Settlers, like the Pacific Islanders had never discovered alcohol but like tobacco use they caught onto the concept real quick. If you had any doubts a Google search of the goings on at Kororareka (Russell) in thge early 19th century would have you convinced. I’ve read accounts of a group of surveyors who trekked from Wellington to the Manawatu mid century which described a people totally inebriated & wrecked by drink. There are plenty more if you look.

The Main Trunk Line through the NI was held up because Maori chiefs didn’t want their people to be poisoned with waipiro. A former Kiwiblog commenter, doctor of philosophy & total bleeding heart fuckwit whose name eludes me kicked off a race war with revelations over natives not allowed to drink in early South Auckland pubs. They weren’t but it was because the local kaumatua expressly asked the publicans not to serve them.

I’ve been on maybe ten marae as a guest over the years & all were dry.

Maori & grog do not mix well. Never have & probably never will.

  25. Does anyone have any info on the strange case of Graham Phillip?
He has been in jail since Dec 8th last year without bail. Another bail hearing has just been postponed at the last minute.
According to Counterspin his crimes seem to be attending protests, arguing with old bill and walking around Taupo with a life jacket and a snorkel with a sign saying “I am wearing this so you don’t drown” They say he has been charged with 7 counts of “sabotage” a crime for which nobody has been charged since the 1940’s.

    • People literally can’t believe the reality they are living in under Ardernism.

This regime is far more extreme and dangerous than most could dare to imagine. Without a doubt Ardern is one of the most fanatical and evil leaders in recent history. It is camouflaged somewhat by the compliant nature of kiwis. If the situation called for it Ardern would stop at nothing to achieve her goal of total subjugation.

    • Curious…
We had a discussion about him here some time back…I think it related to him disappearing and his friends and family had concerns for him.
For those interested…this is what sabotage relates to…
      Sabotage…section 79 CA 1961
      (1) Every one is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years who, with intent to prejudice the safety, security, or defence of New Zealand or the safety or security of the armed forces of any other country, lawfully present in New Zealand,—
(a)impairs the efficiency or impedes the working of any ship, vehicle, aircraft, arms, munitions, equipment, machinery, apparatus, or atomic or nuclear plant; or
(b)damages or destroys any property which it is necessary to keep intact for the safety or health of the public.
(2)No person shall be convicted of an offence against this section by reason only of the fact that he or she takes part in any strike or lockout.

In terms of the covid BS, can you imagine what the poor bugger has done “with intent to prejudice the safety of New Zealand, damaged / destroyed any property necessary to keep intact for the safety or health of the public” . My money is on SFA.
