  1. The Government must be wanting too or going too regulate Property Managers as there seems to be targeted anti Property manager articles in the MSM lately.

This is just the front pages of NZH and Stuff this morning. Direction from the 9th Floor or coincidence? I’d say something is up and the dirty hand of the 9th Floor is at hand.

  2. I note the MSM have been very, very quiet on Cindy’s travels or whereabouts lately.

Has she died and are the MSM not telling us?
Has there been a coup on the 9th Floor and has Robbo taken control and they are not telling us?
Is she taking te Reo lessons with Christine Luxon and she is keeping quiet about it?
Has she gone to Switzerland to count her Pfizer income?
    Is she on holiday again?
Or just continuing to be lazy?

Whatever, the silence from the scrawny cow is wonderful.

  3. RT, sorry Mate, I am just a thin lipped Curmudgeon from the King Country who is a bit slow and one who has led a most sheltered life.

I will do my best to keep up and change my attitude and outlook to things of beauty regarding our most revered and beloved Leader, especially now she has gone ginger.

  4. So, a Geezer who wants to build a Golf Course on his own land, at his expense, talks to Maori about it and how it will benefit them, the area and the country as a whole.

Result. He is accused of being a Colonial Arsehole. The land is sacred and naturally “Tapu”. Well, so the say, but where is the proof?.

Could it be, Maori have not been able to clip the ticket on this, despite the possibility Maori invented Golf and have not been given the concession to sell traditional Maori Golf Clubs and traditional Maori Golf Balls at the Club House of the proposed Golf Course?

Had the local Early Settlers been able to clip the ticket, there would have been no problem, I guess.

    • How would the victims know the attacker was Muslim?

Let’s say that a jihadi type runs amok with a knife, shouting Islamic things, and injures several people.
What sort of victims would say to a reporter “he was a Muslim”?
What sort of victims would keep that information to themselves?
If any of the victims said to a reporter “he was a Muslim”, then would the media report that fact?
      If not, then why not?

    • If the case in Court at the moment with the ladies from the Hood is successful, Crampton might have to go and hide under a rock for a while. After day one yesterday the ladies were quite positive and said they thought everyone seemed to be quite surprised at the amount and high level of detail their legal team presented. It is the Crown’s turn today.

Things lefties dont want “my body my choice”… suicide, vaccinations, masks.

Odd how they prevent humans who can make choices themselves from killing themselves but are outraged a “right” has been taken away to murder defenceless babies.

  6. Police Minister agrees police are racist. Great moral support for your police force under your new portfolio Chippy.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/shows/2022/06/chris-hipkins-acknowledges-unconscious-bias-remains-in-the-police.html

An independent review, The Understanding Policing Delivery Project launched last year, has recently found police have inherited a legacy of eurocentralism and white supremacy that can lead to Māori being over represented in the criminal justice system.

Hipkins said right the way across the Government, Māori have worse outcomes including in education and health. He said all of those things cumulatively point to major challenges that have to be addressed.

    13

    0

    • WG, so Hipkins knows all about the NZ Police and their attitudes.

The weasely little prick has only been in the job since lunchtime, how does he know that the police are racist. Where is his evidence.

Or is this just another lie from a Government Minister?

      20

      0

      • Troughing “expert” Kim Workman told him.

I bet Chippy has actually raised moral of the police. The cops will all be rolling around on the floor laughing unable to take seriously the small, baby faced, soy boy Chippy trotting out police policy and telling them how racist they are!

    • “inherited a legacy of eurocentrism and white supremacy that can lead to Māori being overrepresented in the criminal justice system”

In plain speak, it’s all whiteys fault. Who in their right mind thought it a good idea to import the racist cops from the UK? But regardless of that, no one makes them do the crime. But it’s so easy nowadays to blame someone else for your failings. Look in the mirror arseholes.

  7. I’d Ike to share with you something hilarious that happened to me the other day. It brought joy to my heart and I smile every time I think of it.

I never wear a mask and sometimes when I see other maskless people I’ll catch their eye and say “I like your mask. I think we might have got ours from the same place”. This often prompts a conversation about the evils of totalitarianism and mass hypnosis and it’s good to acknowledge fellow human beings in the land of the robot drones.

Well, the other day I said this to a guy in the supermarket and he said “Oh, I’ve got a condition” and paused. I fell for it and thinking he might have emphysema or something, so I said “oh really, sorry to hear that ” to which he replied “yeah….. intelligence” and we both broke out laughing. 😅

    • Thanks to some encouragement from the folks around here, and particularly you, EK, I’ve now decided that, with the exception of certain professional situations, I am now mask-free. But where I have to wear a mask in order to stay on board with clients, I’m asking them how long they’re going to keep it up for.

      14

      0

      • Thanks for the feedback Leofric. I’m self employed and my clients don’t generally wear masks, but if I visit a client who’s wearing one I say “I have a mask exemption (shows card), but if you’d feel more comfortable I’m happy to put a mask on. No problems.” Like you, this is to stay on board with clients.

In the majority of cases the client breathes a sigh of relief and takes their mask off too – but at any rate I can honestly say that I can’t remember when anyone insisted that I wear one.

“Australian actor Liam McIntyre has issued an “apology” to his unborn daughter amid the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn a landmark ruling, which will result in abortion rights being stripped from millions of women.

The 40-year-old Spartacus star, who has a 2-year-old son, Harrison, with his wife Erin Hasan, announced the wonderful news the couple were expecting their second child – a little girl.

But he said his excitement had been diminished by US abortion rights laws being overturned on Saturday, which had provided the constitutional right to abortions up until foetal viability since 1973.”

  10. A banker sees one of his bank’s best customers, an 80-year-old rancher, in the bank’s lobby one day and begins speaking with him. The rancher confesses that after decades as a bachelor, he’s finally getting married. Not only is he getting married, but his new bride is only 22.
The banker realizes that there are likely to be some “unmet needs” in this relationship. Not wanting things to go badly for the rancher or his new bride, he decides that if there was a young ranch hand around, nature would take its course, the old rancher would probably never know what was going on, and everyone would be happy. He says to the rancher, “With a new young bride at home soon, you’re probably not going to have as much time to work around the ranch. You should hire yourself a young ranch hand.” The rancher thinks that’s a great idea and promises to do so.
Six months later the banker sees the rancher in the lobby of his bank and asks him how everything’s going. The rancher replies, “Oh, everything is just great! I hired a hard-working 25-year-old to help around the ranch and everything’s going well.”
Banker: “How’s your new wife doing?”
Rancher: “Couldn’t be better! She’s three months pregnant with twins!”
The banker smiles to himself thinking his plan worked out. He asks, “Well, how’s that new ranch hand?”
The rancher looks down, shuffles his feet in embarrassment and finally says, “Well, uhh, she’s pregnant too.”

  11. Wait for Labour/Greens to have their hands in taxpayers pockets to fund their campaigns.

Hundreds of thousands of Kiwis living overseas are now set to vote in the 2023 election, even though they’ve been away for years.
    https://www.1news.co.nz/2022/06/28/changes-to-special-votes-political-donations-for-2023-election/

The change will affect 407,000 expats who have been away since before Covid hit and may have missed out because they haven’t been back to New Zealand.

It’s an acknowledgement from Justice Minister Kiri Allan that many Kiwis couldn’t get home because of the MIQ lottery system.

“This isn’t about party politics, this is about what’s right to do for New Zealanders right now. The reality is New Zealanders haven’t been able to come home,” Allan said.

The proposed changes to the electoral system also include political donations.

“The top shareholders of Pfizer are Frank A. D’amelio, John Douglas Young, Mikael Dolsten, Vanguard Group Inc., BlackRock Inc. (BLK), and State Street Corp. (STT).”

Labour, right now, are actively reducing the health system into a dysfunctional wreck, by holding the mandates in place. It seems they’re still hell bent on their Pfizer commitment to max out the vax program. The PM had a personal meeting with BlackRock while in NY a few weeks ago. BlackRock happens to be a major shareholder of Pfizer. Was that meeting about getting NZ healthy again? I doubt it.

  13. The stupidity of Western Governments are beyond belief. I wonder how many of these bonds Blackrock hold on behalf of their investors?
Russia has defaulted on its foreign debt for the first time since the Bolshevik Revolution after a 30-day grace period for the country to disburse two Eurobond interest payments expired on Sunday night. It’s a largely symbolic move given that the Kremlin has enough money to pay off the debt, but is barred from doing so because of the heavy Western sanctions leveled on the government. Last month, the U.S. Treasury Department effectively blocked Moscow from making the payments by letting a sanctions loophole expire that had previously allowed it to transfer cash to debtholders via American banks.

Quote: “Anyone who understands this situation knows that this in no way a default,” Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov declared. “There is money and there is also the readiness to pay. This situation, artificially created by an unfriendly country, will not have any effect on Russians’ quality of life.”

While a formal default (by a ratings agency or court) would be another sign of isolation, in this case it doesn’t mean much, as Russia currently cannot borrow internationally. In fact, it doesn’t need to, thanks to surging energy export revenues that have grown even more plentiful since the invasion of Ukraine. The grim status could influence its standing as an economic and financial pariah, however, as more multinationals flee the country or discourage foreign direct investment in the future.
Next steps: Bondholders are likely to take a wait-and-see approach. Claims only become void three years from now and much could change before then in terms of the scope of the war or sanctions. Debtholders may also have a difficult time repatriating the cash since the Kremlin hasn’t waived its sovereign immunity and no foreign court would have jurisdiction there. Note that Russia under Boris Yeltsin also defaulted on its domestic debts in 1998, which led to a wave of inflation and a devalued ruble, but the economy was able to recover quickly due to rising oil prices and international

Yet in other less headline worthy news, statistics held by the MoH suggest that no less than seven people from the Wairarapa DHB catchment died from alcohol related causes in 2021. Figures from an official information request indicate that about 200 people are treated for disease/injury caused by alcohol each year.

The DHB services a population of approximately 45,000.

  19. You see these sorts of Patched Arseholes on a drug run coming either north or south through the King Country all the time.

2 to 3 Black Arseholes on motorbikes followed half a minute later by a new big expensive black car full of similar Black Arseholes.

There never is any sign of Plod on their case, following or stopping them, they just proceed at some speed and on their merry way.

My wife and I were camping at a Motor Camp just out of Opotiki last February when a young good looking lady came into the camp office and booked and paid for the largest available cabin “for her family” for that night.

An hour later, 6 Motor Cycles with thugs arrived followed by the very latest $500,000 Bentley Flying Spur with 6 more thugs inside arrived and to their paid for, large cabin, they went. All Tribesman.

Within an hour they were around the going around the campsite trying to flog off drugs.

The campers got together and within one and a half hours they were given their money back by the Campground Management and forced to fuck off by the campers. 12 tribesman against close to 100 campers seemed no match for these tough fellas.

Bit of a campers party that night and a win for decency. No sign of Plod anywhere though. Probably getting counselling.

    • Talking to a bloke one time who seemed to know more about these things than he should.

Reckoned the bikes carrying the goods would always have a pillion passenger. The idea was if they were stopped the pillion took off with the” freight” & ran like hell while the rider moved the chase a little further down the road. Could have been bullshit but it made sense.

      7

      0

      • Not surprising nasska.

Also that the slow down on a quiet road, near a corner with no over looking houses, is a place to toss that “freight” where it is arranged that the somebody very shortly going the other way does the pick-up.

Had not thought that the pillion passenger may be part of that, in switching rides, and then going the other way.?

        6

        0

      • Better able to throw any freight to the side of the road maybe. Stopping and getting someone off isn’t a quick thing on a bike. Plus they would have been noted in a chase. I guess that’s the thing with customised bikes they are distinguishable.

  24. STILL ON A DOWNWARD TRACK
After retreating in April, overall mortgage activity actually rose in May in maybe a surprising result. Total new mortgages issued in the month totaled +$6.8 bln, up from +$5.7 bln in April, but much lower than the $8.9 bln in May 2021. However, since October 2020 the trend has been lower and this latest May data doesn’t alter the downward track. Both FHBs and refi borrowers are on a similar downward trajectory – but new investor borrowing is back to just over +$1.1 bln per month and that is very much the weakest part of this market, back to late 2016 levels. More here.

    FEWER BUT LARGER
The trend of fewer but bigger new mortgages continues – with average size hitting a record $408,000. Gib crisis: Buyers of DDL’s Neodomo Ellerslie apartments worry about progress, developer reassures

Buyers of Delivering Dreams Ltd (DDL) apartments at Ellerslie are complaining about what they describe as a lack of progress on their units amid publicised financial troubles at a separate development at Flat Bush.

But the Ellerslie scheme’s developer says although dates had been “affected” by delays including Gib deliveries, work is continuing.

Receivers were this month appointed to two DDL companies involved in a 122-home townhouse and apartment project at Ormiston Rd, Flat Bush.

“However, all communication has stopped, we get no return emails or phone calls and there is no one on-site,” the buyer said expressing fears about security there as well.

    Another buyer had similar concerns.

    Jamie Johnson15:37, Jun 28 2022

A mystery rocket has crashed into the Moon, creating a large double crater, leaving Nasa scientists baffled at who was behind the launch and why its impact was spread over two distinct areas.

No-one on Earth has claimed responsibility for owning the rocket, and Nasa cannot explain why the impact created two craters when it crashed.

“What remains is soaring inflation, increasing gun violence and little progress on issues that have bedeviled New Zealand for decades,” McKenzie wrote.

    • The fish and chip wrapping creature was NEVER
a ‘star’. The horsefaced abomination had to pay
off the media here to promote her as a ‘leader of the times’.
She is untalented, clueless, inept and plain stupid. Her arrogance
and cruelty have been twisted by the media prostitutes as ‘strong’ and ‘decisive’. She is weak, needy, shallow and dangerous.
I loathe the bitch for the damage, despair and death that she
brought on this country. The sooner she crashes and burns, the better.

  31. The housing crisis is real, and it’s partly happening because of evil manipulation. If you were wondering why it’s becoming more and more difficult to own a home (or even afford rent), you’re not the only one.

It’s no secret we’re living in a time of ever-increasing prices. And one of the places people are getting hit the hardest is in housing. Some of this is due to economic factors like inflation and shortages, but some of this is also potentially due to blatant manipulation, by companies like Blackrock, Blackstone, Invitation Homes, and others.

In this video, I’m first going to show you just how bad this housing crisis is. And then uncover some of the devious behaviour companies are using to drive up housing prices everywhere, and also to cover their tracks.

    • They might have a point but when you attract completely fucked in the head commenters like this it’s time to take to the hills:

……”There is A “Antichrist spirit” entering in to those who have not come to Christ and is rising! We are living in these last few days and hours before Jesus comes back! Jesus HAS TOLD US IN HIS WORD THAT WE ARE TO BE MINDFUL OF WHAT IS HAPPENING WORLDWIDE! NATION RISING AGAINST NATION, AND KINGDOMS AGAINST KINGDOMS! THE BIRTH PANGS OF THIS WORLD ARE ALSO INCREASING! We need to take God’s Word as it is before the Lord Jesus Comes back! All need to come to Christ, before the Trumpet SOUNDS!”……

      Stark raving fucking mad !

      • Someone should break the news to him that its gods children doing all the crime.

I agree nasska, its a complete turnoff and harms their cause. Literally all they seem to know is preaching to the choir, unfortunately for them religious folk are a virtually useless group now.
You need to be mongrel as fuck to tackle other mongrels, a stupid prayer and invisible freind dont do jack shit.
