I worked with an organisation who dealt with children that had been abused and even though some had had hideous lives during their lives with their parents, not one ever blamed the parents. They had plenty of blame and some of it was very justified of the homes they were put into. I was constantly amazed that they didn’t blame the parents who chose to have them incarcerated into these homes for orphans when they were both alive and kicking and on the booze or other options. That was a long time ago when they were small children and some of them were in their 70s. I have great sympathy for all of them, however I do not think that the taxpayer paying for a bit of weed will fix the problems of this guy or anyone else.
