          The wheels of information release turn very slowly in this government.
          In the last few days I received an email to advise my request had been refused.

    • You are in danger of becoming obsessed. Be careful or plod will be knocking on your door. While I pretty much agree with you we live in a police state and they monitor everything.

      As an aside that I attempted to post yesterdays squirrels post on FB and it was struck down, the excuse being it was about suicide, which it wasn’t.
      I objected to that taking down and lo and behold this morning it was reinstated with an apology.

      Have to say that is a plus for FB this time.

      • Viking, you will never see me post anything that promotes violence against anybody unless it’s in obvious jest, you don’t have to tell me about the state of the police force, security force in this Country on many occasions I’ve warned about that on this blog.
        The POS that resides on the 9th floor despite her constant B/S has no respect for the law abiding citizens of this Country .
        To back off now in my opinion would be cowardly, hate speech laws are not implemented in our Country YET.

    Communists such as dl, DON’T believe in the existence of ‘Heaven’, perceiving it as being a carefully-nurtured myth and an indication of ‘weak mindedness’.

    On that basis, perhaps said panel should be altered to something akin-to ‘You die, so what, I don’t care’.

  12. Made the mistake of watching the weather on Pravda one last night. They had a blonde lady I have never seen before doing it. I thought she was having an attack of Tourette’s in Maori.     • Ive just spent a few days at a mate on the west coast, they know the news is fake and take it with a grain of salt but still rekigously watch pravda 1 aswell.
      Its the first time in a few years ive seen the junk “news” thats broadcast to our nation a holy shit its all just fully manufactured BS, half the content looks as tho its been shot in a film studio with crappy nz actors.   13. Tokelau is a step closer to getting its first airfield, with tenders for the project finally put out after delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

    New Zealand agreed to fund the airstrip, which will be built on Tokelau’s largest atoll, Nukunonu, in 2019.

    A Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade spokesperson said an open registration for an early contractor involvement service had now been put out.

  20. I was walking about in the west end of London one day…just doing a bit of street photography. I’m going along Bond street…coming up to ‘Victoria’s secrets’ and I spot these three tall ( I’m talking around my height, so they are all 6 foot tall or over ) absolutely STUNNING young ladies ( obviously models ) all three beautifully dressed in calf length summer dresses…I’m in LOVE !
    Now I should point out here that I’m in my usual attire which for me means I’m wearing my Kilt ( as yee do ). Then I’m thinking…’It’s got to be done’.
    So I walked up behind these stunning looking girls…and In my best accent I say.
    ME: ‘ Excuse me ladies…I’m turrubly sorry to be disturbing yee like…but I was wondering if yee could help me oot with sumthing’.
    So naturally I get the look that says. ‘Oh god, he wants money’ ( expensive camera hanging around around my neck ).
    GIRL: ‘Umm…what is it you want’?

  21. Youngest daughter (in sunny Palmerston North) is recovering from seasonal flu that happened to throw up a positive in a RAT test. She is annoyed that a week of course laboratories will be lost.
    I told her to build up her natural immunity and hope not to catch it again before the end of the year.

          Turns out the economy never recovered from the 2008 GFC (caused by printing too much money to inflate housing prices. ) They then used quantitative easing (printing money) to hide the collapse and further inflate house prices.

          We get to now live through the greatest financial collapse in recorded history.

    The crash happened at around 11:45am on Monday on State Highway 5 in Tarawera, Police said, and initial indications were that three vehicles were involved.

    • I have just had the misfortune of driving to and back from Auckland to Wellington. Transmission gully is good as are the bits on either side that have been upgraded. The rest is a complete shit show except for the few bits of the new Cambridge waikato expressway that have not been eroded yet. There are probably less potholes in Ukraine’s roads after a good shelling by the Ruskies than the abomination of what are called roads in New Zealand. From Bulls to Otaki is a nightmare, more so because the locals down there drive like idiots. My brother lived in Bulls in the late nineties when a lot of road works was being done to fix curves etc. However, these “new” roads are falling to bits now … It’s a fucking disgrace.

  44. Fifty businesses have received relief payments after the “devastating” disruption they faced during the 23-day occupation at Parliament.

    Earlier this year part of Wellington was brought to a standstill as anti-mandate protesters set up camp and took over streets, forcing some businesses to close completely.

    A $1.2 million relief fund was established by Wellington City Council and the Government for those who had experienced at least a 50 per cent drop in their revenue.

    The council has revealed today that 50 businesses have received payments totalling $974,600.

    Eighteen received the maximum one-off payment of $30,000 including The Backbencher, Mojo, Thorndon Chippery, and Thistle Inn.

    Police and emergency services are responding to a serious firearms incident in Auckland’s Grey Lynn.

    There is no information to suggest there is any ongoing risk to the public, police say.

    One resident says the police Eagle helicopter is hovering near her house while the wail of sirens fills the air.
