  1. Ed ,you gotta try harder Ed, both of those memes are just unreported factual news, ( unreported because of NZs cowardly bought off media clowns )
The same clowns that will set the narrative that the Country is falling back in love with the skinny nation destroying communist Cnut Ardern over the next 12 months.

  2. Morning rev.
Ed’s right the economy is in the toilet but Robbo reckons NZ is only in a ‘technical’ recession as the inflation rise wasn’t high enough to warrant calling it a recession even though that is exactly what it is. The bullshit monitor is on red 🧨

    • Morning WG, the bus drivers wife Robbo has about as much credibility as the all blacks have with the farcical over the top post match celebrations last night, the referee will need help to carry his “Winston’s” ( brown paper bags stuffed with $100 bills) onto the plane when he leaves the Country.
For his sake I hope he hasn’t got a stopover in Aussie, LOL.

    • Yesterday I talked to my nephew and discovered he and his GF in “doing the right thing” reported to the authorities when they had Delta and were scooped up and dumped in one of the mad queen’s quarantine camps for 10 days. They would have been perfectly isolated where they live but there was no negotiating with the police or military guards.
They have just arrived back in NZ after a trip to Europe and again they are not happy with govt intervention with the huge pile of personal data and health checks they had to complete to be allowed on the plane. The GF was a Jacindar voter but has learnt her lesson? She and the nephew are less trusting of the authoritarian regime than before.

      • I wonder what levels the under-reporting reached? I was sick a couple of times over winter and didn’t even bother testing. There was no way I was going to report it if I was positive, not with the Covid fascists seeking to control everybody’s movements. I just confined myself to the ranch until I was better, same as I do for any cold or flu-ey thing.

  3. Tx for posting.

“Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern (she/her) held such promise. In the spring of 2020, the then 39-year-old New Zealand prime minister emerged on the world stage as the COVID drama’s anti-Trump.

Ardern was calm, we were told, where Trump was capricious, compassionate where Trump was callous, and disciplined where Trump was improvisational. She was, in short, the modern major general of the emerging fascist new world order, and the media swooned.”

    • SB, according to the “Encyclopedia of New Zealand 1966” it says this as a description of the word “Maori”.

Although I notice however, recent descriptions of the word “Maori” this description is now changed and the word “ordinary” is not used.

      “The Word Maori”

“Williams in his Dictionary of the Maori Language records a number of meanings for the word Maori, the common one being normal, usual, ordinary. Originally, therefore, maori tangata meant an ordinary man or a man native to the place in which he was living.”

      • At my local New World, English is the most commonly used language, followed by the Hindi of the checkout operators chatting amongst themselves, followed by Mandarin used between mothers and their children.

Yet, there are bilingual notices warning of the dangers of vaping, in Te Reo and in English.

What proportion of people who vape AND self-identify as Maori would be able to read and understand the Te Reo sign? It would have to be close to zero.

Ironically, the only person locally who would be able to read it would some spotty-faced youth of pure Celtic ethnicity who wants to work in Wellington after university and realizes that Te Reo proficiency will aid his career development.

  4. I heard dl say she was going to have a meeting with Prince William the Prince of Wales before the funeral. One slight problem, William is not the P.OW and can only become that if appointed by Charlie. I know it’s only a small matter but it’s the kind of thing you should get right. Yet again Cindy looks like uneducated trash from the colonies – hope they don’t watch One news, they’ll think we’re all like that.

  5. A sniveling arsehole, an MP who claims that Mrs Windsor is privileged without bothering to look at herself.

Well lets, compare the complaining Green MP, Dr Elizabeth Kerekere with the lot of the average New Zealander.

This sniveling arsehole of an MP, Elizabeth Kerekere gets:

An impressive salary, much more than the average New Zealander, paid for, by the average New Zealander.
Free public transport throughout, paid for by lower paid workers and Taxpayers of New Zealand.
Subsidised meals at Bellamy’s, paid for by lower income New Zealander and who can not get the same privilege.
Free accommodation as she travels to wherever she chooses in New Zealand, paid for by low income New Zealanders.
    And so on.

    But then she says this:

“I get there’s the issue around co-governance at that highest level but as long as this is still the Government who is in control of all of those things and they get to choose the level they include iwi, hapu and whanau in their decision making, that is the vestiges of Crown control just will remain in all parts of our life,” Dr Kerekere says.

Is this stupid woman not part of the Crown (Government) as an MP and with the Green Party (of which she is a member) as a Partner to this Government?

She should immediately resign and help disband the Greens so they have no part in Government or their controlling of IWI, Hapu and Whanau for which she complains about. She should let IWI steep up and self fund themselves instead of having their hand out for Government controlled, Taxpayer money at every opportunity.

And then the stupid racist bitch, Dr Elizabeth Kerekere MP says this:

“She says while the Queen was paid millions for her service, Maori who give service often find it’s voluntary on top of their mahi and raising their families”.

Well Lizzie, it is good to know, it seems that only Maori do voluntary work in this country, according to you. I, a man being of a dirty pink colour, have spent over 54 years in various Service Clubs and Trusts throughout this country, all at my personal cost and unlike you, all which I have not grizzled about. All of this voluntary and all after work and while helping to raise a family. These Service Clubs and Trusts have worked hard to build the backbone of this country and I could name, on less than the fingers on my left hand, the number of “Maori” who have been members of those many organisations I have been involved in. Maori may do voluntary work for “their Marae” and for “their” organisations like Maori Wardens, but they seem to do bugger all voluntary work in the community in general and for the benefit of the wider community, in my experience.

If, as this useless MP claims the Monarchy is only based on the backs of indigenous people, that must include everyone born in this country, not just those that claim to be Maori as this useless Tart assumes. And we pay her salary. Why?

  6. In case you missed this. Fuck I hope our Vax Nazis get Nuremburged….

    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/09/denmark-bans-covid-vaccines-almost-everyone-age-50/

“Denmark had already ended Covid shots for nearly everyone under 18. The new rules go much further.

Danes under 50 will only be allowed to receive the shots if they are “higher risk of becoming severely [emphasis added] from Covid-19.”

The Danish Health Authority has not yet defined those groups, but they will likely include only a handful of people, such as those receiving cancer treatments that suppress their immune systems. Pregnant women are unlikely to be included.

Denmark did not explicitly say the risks of mRNA jabs now outweigh their benefits for healthy people under 50.

But that view is implicit in the announcement, which does not merely discourage but actually bans shots for those people, even though Denmark expects “a large wave of [Covid] infection” in the next few months.”

But surely, the ‘Duke, being both grand(er) and old(er), would NEVER deign to meet some lower-class fawning ‘dentally-challenged school girl from the ‘colonies’?

Even ‘Formerly out of favour’ British royals must have SOME standards, and such a meeting would certainly do HIM no favours…

  7. With National/Act leading in the polls and would be the government if the election was tomorrow.
Should the labour paid for media pull their head in and give everyone equal reporting?
If it come to pass that National/Act ruled the treasury benches, would they even then give them a far shake of the stick. Or would the run true to their colour of Red?

    • That decrepit old prick is carrying around a replacement liver, which was probably removed from a Pakeha. He’d need to be careful undertaking a long haul flight. He might need to be checked out at a white colonial oppressor hospital when he gets to the other end, before getting his fill of the Royal pomp and splendour the horis love so much.

    • What a load of crap – I wonder whether he (the Professor ) is actually taking the piss?
“I hope you will accept my apology for my thoughtless, insensitive, and inappropriate comment to you on Clubs Day,” he wrote.
He had learnt from the experience and would adjust his approach, which would “be different” moving forward, he said. His Māori support person had also spoken with him about whakapapa.
“I have reflected on the complaint and now realise there are underlying concerns and issues of which I was quite unaware,” he wrote.
“I recognise my need to undertake further suitable cultural training to ensure that in future my behaviour shows proper awareness of these matters, and I will be enrolling in a university cultural awareness course and have also reached out to my local marae.”

The two complaing look about as Maori as Christian Cullen.

      • Yes, the little angel who sits on one of your shoulders and the little devil who sits on the other have now got to make room for a fat little hori cultural correctness demon.

Everybody here needs to harden the fuck up. The hurty feelz students who need a kick up the arse for being stupid sensitive cry babies and wasting everybody’s time, the media for giving them oxygen, and the weak-gutted Professor for that grovelling apology and for sending himself to cultural training Coventry.

Fuck the fucking horis, all this bullshit is just making me angry.

  10. When I read these findings in Italy, it just makes feel so happy I have missed a few meals and lost a few friends, but at least I haven’t gone with this great experiment.
It is 60 pages, they looked at blood samples of 1006 people, varying in single to triple jabbed. ages from 10 to 90
5.77% had normal blood, 94.23% had abnormal blood.
The Red Cross is collecting this blood and spreading throughout the communities of the world.

  11. Jesus walks into a bar and takes a seat at a table just inside the door. Shortly thereafter, a hunchback Irishman comes in and takes a seat at the bar. He looks around and sees Jesus. He beckons to the bartender and whispers, “Faith and begorrah, isn’t that Jesus sitting over there?
The bartender says, “Sure, and the very one.”
The Irishman replies, “Well then, be a good lad and send him a brew, on me.”
The bartender delivers the drink, and Jesus nods at the Irishman.
In a little while, an Englishman limps in with a cane, all but dragging one leg. He sits himself down with some difficulty, looks around, and says to the bartender, “I say, isn’t that Jesus at the table?” “Indeed, it is,” says the bartender.
The Englishman says, “Well, then, why don’t you send him a cup of tea, with my compliments.”
The bartender delivers the tea and Jesus nods at the Englishman.
Pretty soon, a Maori saunters in with a bandaid on his pinky. He also takes a seat at the bar, looks over the place, does a start, and says to the bartender, “I’d bet my warriors season pass that there feller there is Jesus.
Bartender replies, “Yep.” The Maori says, “Well, do me a favor and send him a coke, on my tab.” Bartender delivers the coke, and Jesus nods at the Maori.
It comes up on closing time, and the Irishman gets up to leave. As he passes Jesus’ table, Jesus says, “Thank you, my son,” touches him lightly, and the hunchback Irishman stands up straight for the first time in his life and dances a jig out the front door.
The Englishman gets up to go and passes Jesus’ table. Jesus says, “Thank you, my son. Be healed,” and touches him lightly on the arm. The Englishman suddenly beams, puts down his cane, and does cartwheels out the door.
Comes time for the Maori to leave. As he strides past Jesus’ table, Jesus looks up and says, “Thank you my son,” and starts to reach out. The Maori steps back, aghast, and says, “Don’t touch me, man. I’m on ACC.”

  12. Lucid Motors calls its motor design miniaturized, and it’s long boasted that the light and “impossibly compact” motor in its Air electric sedan is lean enough to fit into an airplane carry-on.

Lean and small is only one aspect, however. Lucid’s motors weigh just 67 pounds each and are capable of generating 670 hp—yes, that’s 10 hp per pound.

Further, Lucid’s silicon carbide inverter, reduction gearset, and differential, packaged together, weigh about 163 pounds.

It is very, very power-dense. And in a tech talk released by the company on Tuesday, Lucid CEO and CTO Peter Rawlinson and Powertrain VP Emad Dlala ran through the priorities the motors were designed around, and how power and efficiency, through low resistance and thermal management, have been part of the plan from the start—along with ease of manufacturing.

You’ll want to watch the entire presentation—more than an hour—for the physics lesson within, and you’re bound to learn a lot not just about this unit but motors in general. But these four slides, comparing Lucid’s motor to motors from Tesla and Porsche, get to the gist of it.

    https://www.greencarreports.com/news/1137141_lucid-motors-more-power-dense-easier-to-build-than-tesla?fbclid=IwAR2jnIF30TJo4YFRXkCB5_wMm_TOigk9LrYuYdJuZWBbIlJp6qpUshB8qDE

She gave it everything she had, until a fart, that from sound and stench, had obviously followed through. She was mortified.
“Don’t worry,” i said, patting her head. “I’ve heard this kind of thing is perfectly natural during birth. Isn’t that right nurse?”
“Yes,” said the nurse gagging, “But it’s usually the mother not the father!..”

Simon Wilson, smug patronising, miserable, car hating leftward who wants the rest of NZ to be as miserable as he is for hooking up with the ugliest woman in the country moderating between a (brown man/woman/he/she/they/them) Labour junkie and (obviously, because he’s not a Labour Party member) far right white extremist ? Just to mention the very nice destinations:—-
    .
….. let off two buses in front of Vice President Kamala Harris’ official residence early Thursday, just days after she claimed the border is secure. ….
    .
….. Florida sent two planes with 50 illegal immigrants to the tiny liberal playland of Martha’s Vineyard, …..
    .
…. Chicago will join fellow sanctuary cities Washington, D.C., and New York City as an additional drop-off location.” ……
    .
…. dropped off in Washington and more than 2,100 in New York …..

    https://www.dailywire.com/news/watch-two-buses-sent-by-texas-drop-migrants-off-in-front-of-vp-kamala-harris-residence
    .
Sounds like it would be very comfy & roomy too.
    .
    …. 33-room official residence ….
…. the home underwent extensive renovations, including the installation of a new heating and air system, refurbished wooden floors and updated chimney liners,
    ….. a large veranda, a pool and a sunroom, ….

    https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/06/us/politics/kamala-harris-naval-observatory.html
    .
Surely there will be some good housing stock in the good neighborhood of Sandringham, Auckland, particularly for the many who are in motels in Rotorua.

    • I’ll elect to ignore WG’s grossly inflammatory evangelicalism. 🙂

But no S1. I forgot that he was scheduled to visit & the local paper which doubles as an offshoot of ‘The Standard’ managed not to mention it either. I realise that Matt King has a lot on his plate but the Democracy NZ website doesn’t receive sufficient attention to make it worthy of regular visits & I refuse to join Facebook. I signed up as a member but that hasn’t produced anything in the way of communication.

Hopefully as the party grows they may be able to field regular email news in the way that ACT does.

      • I am not on Facebook either but if you go to the democracynz site I find you can read the thread on his fb page and that keeps one up with what people are saying.
You can also see Matts short clips he does .You get an idea about Matt just from watching those.

I am sure he has a very competent team behind him and he is due to announce another candidate in the next week or so. He also has some funding which he obviously doesn’t want to disclose source.
I had an email last week in response to being involved locally so think they do follow up but are busy.

        7

    • Thanks wg, 🙂 & as nasska notes, I do not walk on water. 🙂
      I would have forgotten myself,
I only picked up on from RM & wg’s conversation.

It is that I would like to think in knowing in part some of us commentators, that may attend, would then bring some greater understanding & report back, on how Matt King presents, knowledge, principles, & is actually doing.

Understandably Matt King pretty much a one man band, and there is a limit on just how much his supporters can cover in their free time, as well as still work.

Living & learning, maybe just an idea in our area, is to just pay & put an advert in the local paper, as part of our contribution to democracy.
Though probably would be a good idea to contact DemocracyNZ Matt King, just to be sure he is ok with that.
I note that it seems to be RSVP, so some venues may have a numbers issue?
Also note “Got a venue” so co-ordinate with DemocracyNZ, advertize and make it happen. 🙂

In DemocracyNZ link in the top right hand corner, there is the “Contact” to get you to email addresses.
The face book link gives a vodaphone number to either text or call.

From the main page under “Latest news” then from there one can click on for the “Our Road Show— Dates”

  21. A recent political poll again points to a tight election next year with National and the right bloc neck and neck with Labour and the left.

A commercial poll from Talbot Mills, who also poll for the Labour Party, has National on 38 per cent and Labour on 35 per cent. NZ Herald obtained the poll.

The results, taken between August 31 and September 7, show a slight increase in support for National from the last poll; the party is up one point while Labour drops a point.

Compared to the August poll, Act has dropped one point to 9 per cent and the Greens one point to 8 per cent.

      • Maori leaders worth their salt watched the effects of alcohol on their people & resisted progress because of the evils they knew it would bring. One example springs to mind:

The Main Trunk Line linking Wellington with Auckland wasn’t completed until 1908 largely because of Maori resistance. Even when the track was finally open Taumarunui was “dry” & remained that way until 1958.

        • Maori + beer = tolerable
Maori + too much beer = angry idiot
Maori + spirits = violent thug

Once again cuzi bros excedingly over represented in the bad booze stats, mind you so do the islanders. Imo its because pre european they had very little to no alcohol and if they did it was it was ceremonial not recreational. Most other cultures have had 1000s of years of alcohol and some degree of evolved tolerance to the stuff.

Imo rum seems to bring out the worst in people esp the bros, even good maori mates ill clear out and head home the moment a bottle of rum is bought out, the nights bound to go tits up soon after and someones gunna cop a few blows.

      • An even better instance was provided by Scott Hamilton who has a PhD in Sociology he found in his box of cornflakes & has used it to provide a towel & a soft shoulder for Maori with imagined grievances ever since. Long a proponent of the “a Maori said it so it must be true” doctrine he waxed long & hard on Flightlessbirdblog over the South Auckland hotels of early last century refusing to serve Maori because they were Maori. According to the idiot it was blatant racism.

As typical of his type he totally refused to acknowledge the fact that the local chiefs & kaumatua had approached each & every licensee & instructed them not to allow Maori on their premises because of the effect on their people.

  23. News for naaska. His favouritte lady and how she is solving her housing problem in Masterton.

Kāinga Ora is pleased to announce we are returning to the Wairarapa and Tararua regions for the first time since 1999. With four housing site acquisitions, we now have a presence in every region across Aotearoa New Zealand. These agreements will see around 50 much needed public homes created for the region, with many more in the pipeline.
Minister Woods, along with iwi, local officials and Kāinga Ora staff visited the Jennian Homes development in Masterton yesterday, which will see whanau moving in to 18 new family homes around mid 2023. There are also 22 new homes which Emerge Aotearoa Group will own and manage, with families moving in soon.

    • Masterton & the Wairarapa are an area where Labour get a kicking from the faithful. In 1999 the then National Government sold all 541 state houses from Dannevirke to Featherston to the the local Licensing Trust. Masterton was dry until 1947 when it elected to again become wet via a local trust as opposed to private enterprise & who despite totally incompetent management managed through virtue of their monopoly over 50 years to become fairly well cashed up.

Surprisingly the Trust made quite a good job of running the former state property but they’re not the soft touches that are Kāinga Ora & chronic no-hopers get the message fairly quickly. That is why there’s so much pressure on Labour to provide houses for the ferals to wreck.

About a week ago there was a fanfare announcing “community housing” to be built on ground formerly utilised by the Greytown ambulance station. Greytown is an upmarket, snooty town populated by the cafe set from Wellington.

I’m waiting to hear of the fallout.
