It seems the a Catholic Church Diocese is getting involved and want the Government to buy the land back and give it back to Maori. This story has along way to go yet before it’s settled a the PM will be under all sorts of pressure.
The police must enforce the trespass orders and remove the protesters from the building site. They’re welcome to protest from the fence-line. Then Fletchers and the local Iwi can carry on with the deal they negotiated.
