  1. Has Stuff decided Jacinda is taking a hiding in Labours internal polls the only way to change the voters view is to go after Simon Bridges again and push to install Judith Collins as National Leader with tabloid Jounalism from Andrea Vance.

Then another from Brooke Van Velden.

      • Unfortunately National is a dog’s dinner in 2020 full stop. Unless they have a radical clean out and come up as a real alternative with a leader who can articulate them.

Nothing about National in 2019 gives me any confidence that this will happen, mare’s the pity. Errrk

    • Brooke Van Velden -Jacinda Mania
Who the hell is she, Oh she’s high up in the Act party the one that is on 1%.
Does she still think there is Jacinda Mania, she must be really out of touch.

      • I find it strange that ACT would be promulgating such a line of attack – hard to see it being in their best interest.

      • Remember the echo chamber though. We celebrate any negativity around Jacinda. And yes, there are a few media reports – but is it of a volume to counter her instant appeal? Isn’t the ratio still more than 10 positive articles for 1 negative one?

    • My Uber driver on the way back from the airport in the wee hours of Friday morning was a middle aged Samoan lady. We chatted a bit about politics and her dislike for Jacinda and acknowledgement of Labour being a one-trick pony was evident.

She wanted that nice Mr Key back, because she felt he knew what he was doing and he looked confident. But she didn’t really like Simon, he felt off to her. Judith gave her the same feeling of confidence and ability that John Key did.

It was an interesting conversation, because I personally don’t see Judith Collins as a prime minister. And I certainly wasn’t expecting that from a middle aged Samoan lady!

    • This is the bit that Andrea Vance dishonestly left out of her article, by focusing on graphs that depict only temperature measurements from 1880 onwards. Of course, seeing long range trends upsets the current narrative and won’t help them to gain more control by predicting our doom.

    • Funny to hear it described as a closely held secret in one article. What, a now you don’t see it now you do kind of secret? More like that, it didn’t really exist before but now we have based something on National’s proposal but have done better.

      Is it Monday or Tuesday?
Is it at the Auckland District Court or the North shore District Court?

    • I hope you are right and there has not been a backroom plea bargain. If it goes ahead it will still be going Thursday when Happy and I will see what is happening. Is there anyone living in Auckland planning of going on another day?

      0

    • I hope this goes to a very public, very messy trial.

But when you consider the police have run interference on the lawn-mowing incident, there’s been no action on either the sex-camp or the events in the Prime Ministers’ offices and their historic form with ignoring Labour’s illegal electioneering and retrospective law changes I really, really, really doubt there will be any public visibility of this case.

It’ll be settled, dismissed, covered in name suppression, etc. He’ll get away mostly scott free because anything other than that will be damaging to Labour and the police / justice system / media can’t have that happen.

    • Coming for lunch with Dad, I am looking forward to it, as I always look forward to seeing our children, and now also grandchildren.
Everyday they make Father’s Day for me, as they have all developed into strong, independent, hard working go getters, living within their means, and not Mum and mine.
I love watching and following their lives, and they still come for advice and chats when they feel the need.
Long answer to a short question eh. ?

It’s nice to hear something positive… Being a 40+ White Male I get nothing but shit flung at me day in/ day out by our Government and our Media-Apparently I am responsible for everything from Maori Crime rates to Global Warming and the World would be better off without me…

    • I am reminded of this clip. People need to know that running from the police is a bad idea. They won’t get that message if the police stops chasing criminals.

Of course, that only applies when we have a police force actually doing police work, rather than being the military arm of the New Zealand Communist Coalition and participating in virtue signalling and song.

    • The way I read the item is they fled from a request to stop. They travelled at excessive speed and beyond the drivers ability to control the vehicle. The poorly controlled vehicle then left the road and hit a tree. Not sure why an investigation is required. Sad for parents and family but no one else is at fault apart from the fleeing driver.

  4. I would love to be a fly on the wall when the mad queen and her lawn mowing boyfriend discuss recent media coments concerning how useless she is.

For someone who suffers from extreme anxiety and self doubt it’s not going to help her sinking self esteem.

She should just bow out now.

    • I still believe she’ll be gone before Christmas. Her ineptitude and inability to listen to the people is creating a level of discontent that this country has never seen before.
If she remains, she will be isolated and then demoted.
She’s playing her cards like a real amateur. There is no ace up her sleeve.
The fairy tale is fake, false and fallacious.

      • “The fairy tale is fake, false and fallacious.”

Absolutely correct- But sadly the Mad Queen won’t be leaving us anytime soon.
I have a good contact on the inside who tells me that despite their tanking internal polls, Labour still believe ‘Jacindamania’ will be resurrected by firstly a Nobel Prize, then the ‘Royal Wedding’ just before Election next year…
Keep your sick buckets handy folks this is going to be real unpleasant….

        0

        0

        • She can have her wedding like anyone else, but screw that Nobel Prize shit. If she had actually been under fire from the gunman, suffered wounds whilst evacuating others, and lived to tell about it, THEN maybe we’ll talk about a Nobel prize. Pfff.

          0

          0

          • Yep- Talk to the Cops and other poorly paid Emergency Services workers who were working double shifts and cleaning up the blood and guts about Jacinda’s pending Nobel Prize…

            0

        • I believe she was already ring fenced in ‘witless protection’ early in the year then a Very Convenient Event happened on 15 March 2019 and she was able to play her only card – for about 2 months. She had a purpose for a while but cant go for too long before collapsing.

I suspect she has an eating disorder (hence low energy) and her nervousness and self doubt would see her collapsing into the foetal position. This collapse followed by getting out there and hyping it up with hollow words simulates bipolar but will not be the real thing.
She is good for about three main events a year and then they bundle the tart off to the Pacific Islands to be lauded and to offset her (actually realistic) self doubt while recharging her in the sun.
She is their ‘trump’ card and is carefully stage managed because she has a limited number of days in which she can perform in a year. How long can a seal keep that beach ball on its nose?

My concern is who has the skill and resources to stage manage this because it sure is not within the ability of the lazy, self centered, low IQ domain of the NZ Labour party.
I would suspect it is someone out of the USA or UK with my money on the UK and likely the Fabian society or similar.
Ardern was a student under Tony Bliar who is a manipulative creep.
His movement was long lived and well organised and a true ‘Globalism’ operator that poured UK resources to the benefit of those outside the country.
The pathway the Sandringham slapper follows.

          • I always keep in mind who was the first, or one of the first of the overseas’ elite to contact her —Al Gore. It wasn’t that long into her term that the infamous “captain’s call” on the O&G industry happened.

            0

    • She is looking incredibly haggard. It’s been well rumoured that she was prone to anxiety and stress attacks in the past, and her inability to string coherent sentences together when asked about seemingly simple issues is consistent with the debilitating effect of extreme anxiety (where one feels overwhelmed to the extent that the mouth seems to lose any connection to the brain) I’m increasingly distracted by her head-bobbing and hand-shaking speaking style – it’s almost as if she’s trying to distract from her babbled words by movement.

I noticed on the TV interview where she was supposed to be promoting the “good parents paying to feed the kids of bad parents” school lunch policy that even the heavy TV make-up wasn’t covering up the way her facial bones were protuding. She’s looking incredibly drawn and has lost a lot of weight and is seemingly having to resort to more and more make-up to paint in her features.

A small part of me thinks its cruel that the failure of the Labour party to create leaders has meant that a person like Cindy who is so clearly unable to deal with the pressure is thrust into a position that is seemingly eating her up from the inside. The human body can only handle so much stress before bad things start to happen to one’s physical health. It seems pretty certain that she’s not going to be able to handle the rigours of an election campaign – especially one where her face appears to be the only attribute that Labour can ‘push’ to garner votes.

It looks like it’s approaching payback time for her deal with the devil.

        • And from me! Good comment. You wanted PM? You best have some leather-thick skin and a steel spine, not to mention the actual ability to lead a country.

          0

          • I’m not convinced that she did want PM.
She never showed any great political ambition… but I think she foolishly swallowed the bullshit that she is clever, wonderful and has leadership qualities and so easily got talked into the position for the “sake of the Party”.
Labour was heading for the pits with Little in charge.
I don’t imagine for a minute that she is driving the “Jacinda” bus.

    • IMHO she should quit for her own health’s sake. Watching her one can see what is happening to her.
Personally, I think Cindy without Parliament is undoubtedly a nice person, wears her heart on her sleeve and really cares about Children and others.
But, her Marxist views and the pressure of Parliament destroy her ambitions.

For her own health sake, she should leave the scum and go about her life in a better way. The alternative IMHO is that she will have a mental collapse.
      Seen this so many times.
It’s not worth it jacinda. Go do what you love to do best.

      • Get a grip !
Ardern is a Marxist foot soldier who wants to destroy our way of life for a clearly unproven set of ideals.
The longest any of those regimes lasted has been 70 years and that time is marked with internal killings and plummeting quality of life.
        Ardern is the enemy.
You are starting to sound like Bob Jones.

There are only two possible explanations for her behaviour:-

        1) She really wants to destroy our way of life: ban oil and gas; then ban chemical fertilizers;
        she and her cohort of evil are against productive farmers (ie. makers of food- it does not just pop into a supermarket via a diesel belching truck; it has to be grown) ;
        interfere in the life of decent taxpaying citizens – eg back protesters at Ihumatao; speak out against the Canadians last August;
        give our money away to the Pacific Islands where it will go to corrupt village chiefs instead of building our roads that it was ear marked for;
        take away guns from registered owners while allowing the gangs to maraud free;
        loosen up access to drugs;
        the list is long
Put in language a Viking might understand > Ardern is trying rape and pillage our way of life.

        or
        2) She is being held at ransom over some past live event and is only co-operating in the destruction of our country under duress.

If you believe No2 I have a flying De Lorean to sell you. Low mileage and only been in 3 movies.

There is nothing decent about Arden and her cohort of Union-bred commies and lying media filth.
If the Sandringham slapper wrecks her health while trying to wreck my country I will not be upset by the former event.
What difference is that to the Japanese wanting to invade and control our country in the 1940s?

        • “What difference is that to the Japanese wanting to invade and control our country in the 1940s?”

There is NO difference. It’s history and human stupidity and naivety repeating itself. Thankfully the Yanks had the bomb and made them pay ever so dearly for Pearl Harbour. They haven’t farted since. As soon as the poor bastards behind the Iron Curtain could not be controlled by exclusive state media, ie when technology improved, it was all over. Now, a new generation thinks “well, we’ll do communism the humanitarian way”. Be extremely wary of any politician who tells you they are smarter than you, and knows what’s best, comrade.

Nah! if that was true then the PM would be a pig-faced liar and I know she’s not because she said so when Paddy Gower served her up a patsy question in the Leaders’ debate before the last election.

  7. Another example of the sub-standard job being done by our current government is Hong Kong.
Where is the support for the Hong Kong people by our government?
We were once Commonwealth allies in this region, (I deployed there when in the NZ Army).
Now “Crickets” only “Crickets” Yet China is breaking the Independence agreement..
There needs to be some dialogue between the HK people and Bejing before further bloodshed. The current HK admin are corrupted
Couldn’t Australia and New Zealand front foot this call for dialogue?

Is the Chinese Political take over of our region complete already?

I’m surprised Tuvalu wasn’t offered the PRC’s island making technology to combat climate “catastrophic” “disaster” “emergengy”/erosion….. after all, Chinese presence in the Pacific is completely benign.
But it’s ok, to piss off the Aussies on their own turf.
Meanwhile we were assured, given a Pink Princess pinky promise even… that having a baby and being a capable PM would be “No trouble at all”
    but now look!
The work ethic of the PTPM is showing while reading children’s postcards for ideas. Clueless……but Ahhh Feelz

  8. So Jacinda and David Clark come up with a ten year plan for cancer sufferers and 60 million to Phamac for more and better drugs, but won’t be able to have the plan in place until December.
    https://i.stuff.co.nz/national/health/115444349/government-announces-an-extra-60m-in-pharmac-funding-and-new-cancer-treatments
National were going to put 50 million into Phamac if the were elected so it seem that the Coalition are only interested in out doing National as the cancer plan was promised after the last Election and they still need till December to put the plan in place. This Government had 9 years of making plans and still haven’t got nous or expertise after two years to create one, David Clark is a blithering idiot with the Prime Minister not that far behind.

    0

    0

      • They would have still be talking about their cancer plan if Simon Bridges hadn’t come up with National would give Pharmac 50 million to buy the latest and best drugs to help the people that Labour had promised but forgotten about, this what has been announced today is over 10 years so I wouldn’t trust what Labour has put in place to be there if they lose the next Election.

          • It’s a crying shame to see what has happened to KB since moderation extended its dead hand over debate. 90% of those with anything interesting to point out have long gone leaving debate to the terminally conservative & Godaddled 5% of the population.

By Xmas I fully expect Kokilla to open daily proceedings with the Lord’s Prayer & Scott to offer a five thousand word homily every morning. Singing hymns in unison from the computer desks in various public libraries may be challenging for the followers but God’s love will find a way.

And that is why I can’t bring myself to leave KB entirely. Such a collection of demented turkeys is irresistible to this liberal predator. 🙂

  10. Latest from Hobsons Pledge.

Ask candidates about tribal appointees, Maori wards

“Separatism is gaining traction within local government so Hobson’s Pledge has launched a campaign to urge voters to ascertain candidates’ views before voting in the upcoming elections.

“Our way of life is being threatened by too many politicians intent on entrenching racial division and co-governance, said Hobson’s Pledge spokesperson Casey Costello.

“Instead of focusing on vital infrastructure and services, they are putting their time and our money into establishing unelected, unaccountable, tribal-based power,” she said.

“This blatant assault on our democracy is an appalling abuse of councils’ roles and responsibilities,” she said.

When we, the public, get to vote, we vote against separatism.

In 2017, five councils proposed establishing Maori wards, ignoring the wishes of their constituents. Hobson’s Pledge supported local petitions seeking binding referenda, five of which were held in 2018, at great cost to the public.

Maori wards were rejected in Palmerston North (68.8%), Western Bay of Plenty (78.2%), Whakatane (56.4%), Manawatu (77%), and Kaikoura (80%).

Then in 2018, Environment Canterbury voted to distort “one person one vote” democracy by trying to change the law so that two Ngai Tahu tribal appointees could sit with full voting rights on the council in perpetuity.

The bill was, fortunately, voted down in April 2019 by National, New Zealand First and ACT.

The Auckland Council was set up in 2010 with an Independent Maori Statutory Board made up of tribal appointees and the council circumvented democracy by allowing these appointees to vote on key sub-committees.

After the defeat of five Maori wards proposals, both the Hastings District Council and the Otago Regional Council followed Auckland’s example and allowed tribal appointees to vote on council committees.

“With Maori leading every major political party in New Zealand, it’s redundant and condescending to suggest that if we have Maori ancestry, we must be appointed or gifted council seats or voting rights instead of standing for election on our merits,” Casey Costello said.

“And it’s completely sinister when it’s about undue influence for a wealthy tribe,” she said.”

The elected councillors who voted in favour of separatism on 11 councils can be seen here: https://www.hobsonspledge.nz/separatists_gallery.

With 78 local authorities in New Zealand, there are probably more councillors who are happy to go along with race-based voting.

    • What an utter bitch. Why was the surviving child put up for adoption instead of being with her grandmother and/or father?
As for the new father and baby, was he at all culpable? Where did he think the other two children were?

    • 8 years huh? Once convicted, hang that bitch at dawn. Don’t waste money for a single day feeding or counselling such a cockroach. Don’t care about your drug problems. I’ve had them too and am still a good father to my children. If there are two things that make me MAD AS HELL, it is child and animal abuse.

No wonder she was laughing. Life means nothing to her, she’s still got hers.

The simps and cucks will be sniffing around her in no time when she gets out.

Absolutely no mercy for this heinous crime.

    • But…. I was told gynocentrism, hypergamy and misandry were mythical, and that Gaia the goddess of fertility was mother nature and that nasty scholars almost unanimously agree that the distended belly depicted on early sculptures of the goddess is now more likely to represent abundance not fertility were wrong.
      I’m so confused…

    • We had dinner at Red Wall 1939 tonight. One of the dishes they served was a hot and sour style soup with whitebait. It was so scrumptious.

But Sage says more than 70 percent of the country’s indigenous fish are threatened or at risk of extinction.

Of course, if you look at the actual data tables it’s around 40% of freshwater fish ranging from Nationally Critical, Endangered, Vulnerable and Declining. (33 out of 77)

  14. Kea, it’s something I don’t quite understand either. I’d, to that poll, seen YSB as a home for people who really believed in democracy and the freedoms of personal liberty. But after seeing 24 fellow YSBers vote in favour for removing voting rights for non-property owners, yeah nah. It’s the type of authoritarian view I’d expect Ardern to have.

I can understand wanting to restrict voting to people who have a basic understanding of what they are voting for, that makes sense because anybody who cares about their vote should be able to pass that. Making it based on whether you own a property or not is only a very short step from saying you have to be blonde and blue eyed to vote.

I’d challenge you to find me a ratepayer that isn’t voting with a certain amount of self-interest. We all live in the area, we all share in it and we all pay (directly or indirectly) to maintain it. We should all have a say in it.

  15. A young man is accused of sexually assauting four people at a Labour Party summer camp. Sam Hurley reports from the trial.

The trial of a man facing multiple accusations of sexual assault at a Labour Party summer camp has begun.

The now 21-year-old is charged with five counts of indecent assault against four complainants, two men and two women.

The accused, who has name suppression until at least the end of the trial, allegedly grabbed and squeezed a man’s testicles, touched another man’s genitals, kissed a woman on her neck and face and groped a second woman’s breast and bottom.

The criminal charges followed a police investigation into the events of the Labour Party youth summer camp near Waihi on the Coromandel Peninsula in February 2018.

But there was also excessive drinking, he added.

“It seems [the accused] more so than most had a fair bit to drink.

“It’s fair to say that Mr [accused] became very drunk.”

Priest, however, said her client “is not a sexual offender”.

    “This was not criminal behaviour.”

She said the first charge, an accusation of squeezing a man’s genitals, was the result of the complainant wanting to be “part of the drama” created by other accusations.

    Meanwhile.
Radio personality Jay-Jay Feeney has spoken after the taxi driver accused of indecently assaulting her was found not guilty.

Baljeet Singh, 29, was acquitted by a jury today after a week-long trial in the Auckland District Court, where he faced one charge of indecent assault.

Singh was charged after Feeney accused him of attacking her when she was a passenger in his taxi in the early hours of October 1, 2017.
