  3. This is a quote from Stuff this morning!

“Stuff accepts the overwhelming scientific consensus that climate change is real and caused by human activity. We welcome robust debate about the appropriate response to climate change, but do not intend to provide a venue for denialism or hoax advocacy. That applies equally to the stories we will publish in Quick! Save the Planet and to our moderation standards for reader comments. ”

They seem to have invented two new terms
    Denialism and
    Hoax Advocacy

I emailed and told them what I thought of their “journalism”

    • The liar’s paradox

As with all great lies, the Chicken Little Climate Apoclypsists are sprinkling a few grams of truth with their tonnes of bullshit.

Only the most lunatic of lunatics would deny that the climate changes, it’s always changed, there hasn’t been a single moment in the history of the planet when the climate hasn’t been subjected to variations. That is the tiny little grain of truth that Stuff and all the rest of ‘bought and paid for’ liars are hiding behind.

The huge list of Ardenesque untruths that hides behind that tiny little grain of truth is the problem:
      – that mankind plays anything more than a margin of error part in the eons long climate change
      – worse, that the scarcest compound in the photosynthesis cycle (ie the foundational basis of life on Earth – which is so scarce that it can only be measured in parts per million) is responsible for climate change
      – that the waxing and waning of the Sun (the source of all heat in our solar system) has nothing to do with Earth’s climactic variations (even though the ice core record proves it cycles perfectly in parallel with temperatures on Earth)
      – that there is 97% consensus on the insane Co2 theory (there isn’t, it’s all based on an Australian blogger making shit up)
      – that there is warming (there hasn’t been any now for a long time and we’re entering a mini ice-age that will be in full force by 2050)
      – that even though the inventor of the hockey stick is shown time and time again to be a big fat data tamperer (losing a major court case last month because he didn’t dare release his data to real statistical experts because he knew it would be proved fraudulent)

Stuff is a disgusting tool of modern totalitarianism, they are poster child for why journalism is the least trusted profession. If they had a shred of integrity they’d just change their name to Pravda.

      I shit on Stuff.

It’s quite right that people like you should be shut down…. in fact you should be put into special camps. Maybe when the prisons of Aotearoa are emptied of their guests, we can use the buildings to hold filthy reactionary scum such as yourself.

      • May be the CO2 argument is losing some steam, and another more evil gas (Sulphur hexafluoride) has to be found. Does any one really believe this?
However, the significant downside to using the gas is that it has the highest global warming potential of any known substance. It is 23,500 times more warming than carbon dioxide (CO2).

Just one kilogram of SF6 warms the Earth to the same extent as 24 people flying London to New York return.

What is amusing is the claim that it is ‘the green energy boom’ which is leading to the increase in SF6. That’s awkward… And they are panicking over a gas that is currently only about 9 parts per TRILLION!

        This world is going crazy.

No wait, the world is cooling. It’s nitrogen!
No wait, the world is warming. It’s CO2. Definitely.
          No wait … it’s SF6! Must be.

    • I agree happy, I went looking for material to do a hit job on Mau for not speaking out – and bugger me if I couldn’t find any proof that she’d been ducking the issue, I guess the MSM weren’t giving it headline positioning as it didn’t fit the narrative, but she’s been chipping away.

She has been holding back on the issue a bit though, trying to conflate “Jacinda lied like an Alabama hooker” into “all of NZ is full of toxic males trying to cover up sexual assault”.

In the end though, the whole #MeToo thing for Mau was about trying to breathe life into her ‘well passed its use by date’ career, so in the end she clearly decided to put self-interest ahead of left wing tribalism in the interests of trying to eke a few more shekels out of the MSM dung heap. It was just too good an opportunity to get on our TV screens again – so she had to join the pile-on.

  4. This is inconvenient ……..for Treaty settlements

This research has been around for a long time, but for some bizarre reason (I wonder why) it seems not to have been covered much in NZ (funny that).

The research seems to suggest that parts of the Amazon were colonised by people from Australia or PNG up to 130,000 years ago! The interesting bit is that the genetic signal is ONLY in South America and NOT in North America! Meaning that these ancient Pacific people did not go through the Bearing Strait land bridge and they can only have gotten to South America across the Pacific Ocean. 130,000 years ago!!!

Which is pretty frigging earth-shattering given that it was previously thought that North and South America were only colonised only about 13,000 years ago. It’s even more inconvenient for Māori though.

The whole grievance industry is based on Māori being in NZ first having arrived roughly 800 years ago. But if these original Pacific peoples could’ve made it all the way across the Pacific to South America 130,000 years ago – it seems implausible in the extreme that these magnificent ocean travelling people wouldn’t have run across little old NZ on their way to South America!

Which makes it utterly insane that the basis for a whole grievance industry is based on being the second to last settlers in NZ with these earlier first Pacific people having beaten the Māori to NZ by around 129,200 years or so.

Small wonder this amazing and eye-opening genetic archaeological information didn’t get any airtime on NZ media – it just doesn’t fit one of their precious narratives!

    • Agree Kea. I spent time in Borneo ( the Malaysian side) a couple of years ago. There are quite a few ethnic groups and the older males from a couple of those groups would fit in well ( appearance wise) with a group of Maori guys. The females not so much.

      0

      0

    • I have a slightly different take on Maori origins.
It is believed by many they are descended from the Mongolian. Evidenced through DNA testing.
They followed the coast lines south so as to gain shelter from storms and easily access supplies and water.
A logical sailing tactic when you have limited seafaring technology.

Upon reaching the Pacific Islands they encountered savagery and cannibalism.

The Mongolian genes were dispersed among the lady folk and a new race eventuated.
That race could not be domesticated.
      They would terrorize other tribes.
They refused to comply with the rules of the land that most freely adhered to, so as to live a relatively peaceful, harmonious existence.
      They needed to be exiled.
      As far way as possible.
Exiled to a place that they could not return.
Enter the Alcatraz of the Pacific.
      New Zealand.

      Warrior gene? No.

  5. I’m very dubious of Jacinda.and the way she enjoys playing the media, but does anyone else think like me in believing she is trying to create a sympathy vote for herself over the sexual assault saga in which she is donkey deep in. You only have to look at how old, haggard , tired and looks to have aged twofold. I personally think she is and has done this to con the public to pull them back to her side, brand Jacinda so it will be interesting how much change will be observed in Japan.

    • I have said it for days now. Most stories out there has one or more (and growing as time passes) lines absolving Ardern of her culpability. • I am in full agreement with you on this.

The Politburo has determined the outcome of the next election. The Stasi will ensure no judicial dirt sticks to Comrade Ardern and that claimants against her suffer the full Zersetzung treatment, while the Ministry of Propaganda will continue to write glowing tributes to Comrade Ardern. There will be no dissent tolerated.

I fear for what will happen to NZ if Jacinda Ardern is elected again. We’ve lost a lot of basic freedom through manipulation and deception and it will get a lot worse if she receives a second term mandate.

  6. The double-hulled sailing canoe Fa’afaite has arrived safe and sound in Tauranga Harbour on Friday, after leaving Tahiti on August 20 and crossing the Pacific using traditional navigation.

“The journey has been a tremendous effort by the entire crew,” says Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage Tumu Whakarae Chief Executive Bernadette Cavanagh.

    https://www.sunlive.co.nz/news/220840-celestial-navigators-arrive-safely-tauranga.html

and in the BOP we have a family of the indigenous who has DNA links to Easter Island. Remember Sam the singer. His DNA is linked to that Island and thus his Family. On a local subdivision, there was unearthed 2 graves below the ash layer of the eruptions of the 13th century. They were removed by the locals and reburied. The distinctive things about these graves were that the bodies were buried standing up (a feature of Easter Islanders) and that they were below the ash layers before Maori came to the bay, supposedly.

Of course, no record was entered about these graves. My son found them during work for a subdivider and the local people recovered their ancestors. No one will acknowledge them.

That same family have a DNA issue with their stomach cancers. Otherwise nice people. Not aligned to the other shit head locals either.

    • An example of how Jacinda Ardern and her Ministry of Propaganda manages what people see.

The article critical of Ardern is hidden behind the paywall. And yes, as a matter of principle I am not supporting the media organisation that lies to the public and manipulates the public to ensure Ardern continues to receive good press.

But the lead story in the red banner at the top?

Aucklanders’ plea to council to chop down oak to avoid ‘very dangerous’ acorns and damaging roots

Because clearly, acorns and trees are more important than Jacinda Ardern continuing to cover up her involvement with the sexual abuse scandal in the Labour party and the deeply rooted culture of sexual violence amongst the Labour party.

  10. The dishonesty, the religion & the craving for social control displayed by the Vatican Party mean its down to ACT for me.

    0

    0

    • The Vatican Party will definitely get the lion’s share of the centre Right vote but few reckon that they’ll be able to govern alone. If the New Conservatives make it we’ll probably see the introduction of Christianity as a state religion, no death allowed without suffering & compulsory weekly church attendance.

At the end of the day your or my party vote is just as likely to be the one needed for an extra seat for the VP or ACT. Let it be ACT!

      0

      0

      • You will not know to close to the election. If ACT is polling at 0.5% then they will not likely bring in another MP. However, if they are polling anything above 1% your vote could make a difference.

        • If all the pissed off gun owners can be persuaded to back the only MP who has truly supported us and his party then things could be quite interesting. However apathy is our greatest enemy though it pains me to admit it.

          0

    • Much as I would like to see Labour/Greens go, I don’t see National as a significant improvement over them. They’re a bit better, but they largely represent the same principles dressed up with more competence. They will continue the welfare state. They will keep taxes high. They won’t roll all of this COL back, they’ll keep a lot of it.

Remember, National voted for the gun laws and they are only now showing any opposition to further laws. The problem only exists because they supported it. (Thank you, Judith Collins!)

The one party that represents the New Zealand I want to live in and have my children grow up in is ACT. I’d be dishonest to my beliefs if I voted for anyone else. And yes, I understand that people think that will be a wasted vote. But until you start voting for what you believe in, nothing will ever change. You’ll just get more blue-socialism versus red-socialism.

The Rise of the Comfort College — Steven B. Gerrard

And so began Williams College’s annus horribilis, a year marked by protests, marches, threats and demands — everything but rational argument. A significant number of faculty not only supported this, but also instigated it. And the administration? Its response was to appoint a committee consisting of faculty, staff and students. Since “free speech” was now a dirty phrase, it was called “the Ad Hoc Committee on Inquiry and Inclusion.”

      • I watched a timeline documentary on Angkor Wat. A magnificent ancient city.
From aerial infra red imaging you can see it was massive.
        Buried and abandoned.
The archaeologists interviewed suggest it was a city with a population of up to 400,000 people.
Woman were in charge of trade and enterprise.
        They had all the power.
Men were obliged/demanded to have sex with their partners in as little as two days after they gave birth.
If said mating did not eventuate, for any reason, they would discard the partner and swiftly move on to men who would do the deed with them.
For a city of this size to be wiped out completely, so rapidly and forgotten, sort of tells you disease took hold and quarantine was a result.
I wonder if the disease was an STD. They spread rapidly if left unchecked. Deadly too.

Don’t work you don’t get paid holiday pay. Works the same with ACC. Apparently, the tax[payers largess doesn’t extend to paying holiday pay on Maternity leave payments and ACC etc.

      Can you explain “Emotional Rape”?

I googled it and found this

      What is Emotional Rape?
Put simply, emotional rape is an intentional systematic act of violence on a person’s emotions. I realize that calling it emotional rape is an extremely brutal term, but that is the harsh reality of it.

Your psyche is under vicious attack, and you become psychologically captive. More often than not, you won’t notice what’s going on while it’s happening because the emotional abuse starts off so subtly.

      https://freedomfromnarcissisticandemotionalabuse.weebly.com/blog/emotional-rape

    • Jacinda opened the doors to ridicule all by herself, by being so desperate to secure sympathy points at any opportunity.
      This deflection tactic has failed.
Her incessant need to be constantly reassured is a sure sign of immaturity.

Successful businesspersons can run a country. Not children.

Being emotionally naive and running to children to gain support is really tragic.

My heart goes out to all the victims in this sordid affair, but hers doesn’t. I see this now.
Empathy is learned not poorly mimicked.
Watching, reading or listening to her convinces me more and more of her inability to actually connect.

Harder to do than it sounds Kea. Market gardeners could plough their crops back in but pastoral farmers are mostly caught up in supply contracts. Try withholding the stock & you’d either have your arse sued off or you’d never get another supply contract this side of Armageddon. My sympathies lie with my ex fellow cockies but I fear that any boycott will be short lived.

      • Brilliant. Very powerful visual sight when the farmers get riled up enough to come to town to protest atop their tractors.

The Leader of the Most Open and Transparent Government Ever is now covering up the $50k+ payout to the predator in her office for him to go away quietly. #nzpol
