  1. Just a question on the sex assualt from someone in Labour that is vital to Hacinda and her chances of being re-elected. Why has Andrea Vance been giving Labour a serious kicking it is not true and Jacinda did not know as Andrea is tribal Labourand as red as they come, so Labour has to be naive or stupid to think this will go away.

    • Jethro doesn’t normally remain silent – even though he should.
Has he finally learned his place as political wife?

      • I heard that Jethro has been overseas as it was reported he and his film crew were recently very close to being attacked by a tiger.

It sounded quite dramatic until someone let slip the tiger was on the other side of a fast flowing river.

Surprised it has not made headlines. Perhaps Cindy is saving this for a diversion when more shite hits the fan.

  2. You may never have heard about this person but in another life when kids we did scouting things.
A really humble guy that’s the sort of person that does some great work.

Attacked by an octopus, cuddled by a baby whale, and diving under Antarctic ice are only a few of the many extraordinary moments he’s experienced along the way.

He once stood on the edge of the Ross Ice Shelf in McMurdo Sound waiting for three spyhopping orca to surface while his helicopter hovered overhead, unable to land, such was the commitment and passion.

  3. A daily dose of more climate change bullshit in the main rags like Stuff. I wonder how many journalists stay employed on that one topic? Pathetic isn’t it? Glad my son is a thorn is his teacher’s side, parroting his father’s “denialism.” (reality) 🙂 “Son, the only good commie is a dead commie.” “Right Dad!” “Good lad. “

    • Yes, the Climate Change hysteria in Stuff has reached new heights.
      Their headlines are really pathetic.
      “Climate Change is now Mainstream!”
Its so mainstream that they have to say it is!

  5. Well,Stuff me.
The bloody dumb pricks at the herald are now being led by the nose by Stuff. They are now going fullon with the bullshit of climate change.

  6. They are not happy with Carbon being a climate change gas or methane.
They have now found a third gas that is causing it.
    Some “sulphur acid compound”
It shows how desperate they are.
The thing is Carbon and Methane may be going up a little bit in the atomsphere, but temperatures are not.
    The two are not related!

  7. Detailed reporting continues about Hong Kong….

…… meanwhile, week 43 of yellow jacked protests against the evil globalist dictator Macron and.. crickets!

Can’t have the truth about the horrific mess that the E-USSR is wreaking across Europe influencing those stupid sheeple in the UK while it looks like the globalist coup in the UK might just be carried off.

Journalists as a profession have to have a good long hard look at themselves – the reporting of one revolution while completely ignoring an almost identical one should forever be a blight on the least trusted profession.

  9. Revealed: Councils spent over $100,000 on 2018 Christmas parties
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2019/09/revealed-councils-spent-over-100-000-on-2018-christmas-parties.html

“In the lead-up to local body elections, Newshub can reveal the amount of money spent by local Government on Christmas parties in 2018. All up, at least, $106,305 was dished out

The Southland District Council was the biggest spender, with $18,598 going towards end-of-year celebrations.”

So easy to spend other people’s money.

    0

    0

    • If that’s a national total I’m surprised it isn’t a higher figure.
Anyone know the number of people employed by local body councils?
$100k is probably only a sausage roll each.

      0

      0

    • One Council I worked for didn’t spend anything on staff Xmas, so we payed for it ourselves. Another one was the complete opposite- free booze, gourmet venue and chefs running around, live entertainment, and probably 100K easy of the rate payer’s $$$.

  10. At some point this week the tree counter will roll over onto two hundred million trees (200,000,000.) The Government needs to be asked how they are progressing with their tree planting programme – remember these were sold to us as NEW trees, not replacement trees.

The last I heard we had only funded about 24 million trees, but whether these were new or replacement trees, I have no idea. If they were replacement trees, then we should urge Shame Jones to get his nephs very busy, as they will have a frantic year ahead !

  11. Why did Jacinda have to go to Japan now? When’s our first game? Fancy her missing the actual Christchurch 6 month anniversary. That makes it sound like a celebration?

Jacinda might have earned some respect if she thought the country needed some leadership. Who’s in charge?

I am waiting for other countries to follow her example when they have terror attacks whatever the hue? Any other leader picked up the baton, or do they just get on as best they can?

      • TV historian David Starkey lambasts the establishment as treasonous for negotiating on behalf of the EU, and brands Remoaner ex-Tory Dominic Grieve ‘a lying, deceiving shit’.
‘Dominic Grieve was not elected in a personal capacity. He was elected as a Tory on a Tory manifesto which promised Brexit. That man did not dissent at the time. His claims to dignity, to acting honourably are totally false. He is a shit – a lying deceiving shit from start to finish. And an oiled shit – look at that awful, greasy hairdo. We really have to start calling things by their proper names.’

He also says the behaviour of some elite Remainers has been treasonous:
‘The old word is treason. We are engaged in a highly contentious negotiation with a strong, united and determined opponent. A large part of the political elite has deliberately gone and negotiated with them against their own country. It’s another aspect of the elite I find disgusting – most of the elite hate their own country and they regard the people with absolute contempt.’

    • Here’s an idea the government could reduce the crippling tax take on every litre so as to offset the price rise. $3 per litre will not only be a nail in the coffin of the economy but will almost certainly result in a much diminished tax return from fuel as people seriously cut back at least in the short term.

Ardern who is pro refugee and welcomes anyone who wants to come to NZ either illegally or legally has just spent a shit load of money blocking boat people from coming here.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/money/2019/09/horror-scenario-of-petrol-at-3-a-litre-possible-after-saudi-strike-economist.html

“The “horror scenario” at this stage, he says, is $3 a litre.

If you look at the imported component of the petrol prices, it’s about 75c. Let’s keep the maths simple – let’s say that oil prices basically double, that imported component will go from 75c to $1.50.”

  18. The West Bank and Gaza were captured by Israel during the six day war, when Israel was forced into military action by Egypt’s closing the Straits of Tiran to Israeli shipping and cutting off its access to the Red Sea and beyond despite warnings not to try it.

I’ve recently been to Israel and also the Occupied Territories and, far from being ‘without political rights’, the Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza are given full political rights in that they both have their own (semi autonomous) governments – the PA in the West Bank and whatever bunch of infighting terrorists rise to the top in Gaza.

Israel is a haven of civilization in that benighted part of the world. Also, as far religious Jewish extremism goes, I heard quite a bit of criticism from ordinary Israelis themselves aimed at the ultra orthodox Jews who, they say, don’t contribute their share (and TBH they look pretty weird too).

I’m an atheist and my dad was killed by the Irgun, so I should be rabidly anti Jewish and anti Israel…. but I’m not. Israel is a forward thinking technological driven successful capitalist democracy. An island of sanity in a
mad area of the world. What’s more, they have united Jerusalem and made it open to all three religions to which it is sacred – and I can’t see that ever happening if the Arabs were to take control.

I’d like to be sitting at a sidewalk café in Jaffa Road right now watching the space age tram silently swoop past while sipping a delicious coffee with some halva. Did I mention that their coffee is fantastic? The girls with the guns are pretty amazing too. But that’s another story for another time….

She has been crying crocodile tears over visitors to our country being murdered yet when the Aussie tourist was recently killed here there was not a squeak from her.

  23. But Kea it is going to be a hard sell for the SLG as emissions are continuing to rise under the COL. The big question is where can she find a soft topic to offer to the UN this time ? Heading a Government that has the biggest list of failures in only 2 years to list. Almost all of her glittering luster blown away with the latest sex scandal handling fiasco leaves very limited options. Even now there is strong indications of the next even bigger scandal likely to break this week described as “chilling to the bone.” The best is yet to come.

Blair Mulholland at 3.12pm has invited anyone who knows who the Labour Party pervert is to contact him on his blog. 29. Labour Party lead investigator insists he wasn’t told about sexual assault allegations
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2019/09/labour-party-lead-investigator-insists-he-wasn-t-told-about-sexual-assault-allegations.html

“But the chair of the panel which investigated the Labour Party staffer, lawyer Simon Mitchell, has lawyered up and is digging in.

He has called the complainants’ statements that he was made aware of sexual assault allegations “untrue” and “not credible”.

This isn’t going away any time soon.

where is Robbo’s concern for the complainants now?…

      0

  31. Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters has returned to the Beehive and described a sexual assault allegation saga engulfing the Labour Party as a “disgraceful orgy of speculation and innuendo”.

Peters on Monday attended Cabinet for the first time in four weeks after what Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern last month called time off after a leg operation for an old rugby injury.

In his absence, Labour has been dealing with the fallout of the mishandling of serious accusations about a former staffer.

Asked what he had made watching the issue from the sidelines, the NZ First leader told Newstalk ZB there had been a lack of presumption of innocence.
    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12268181

Meanwhile, Peters was also coy about his leave – which has piqued interest among media – but rejected reports he had a knee operation.

“It was a private [operation] and when you pay for the bill you can start asking the questions,” he said.

“Sadly, you all thought the worst, but you were wrong … I’m back.”

    That’s sad.
