  1. I was very excited to see two celestial happenings this morning whilst out getting a bit of exercise, as I came along a very dark stretch of road heading home, on one side in the North East was an entirely uninspiring group of stars recently named Matariki and on the other side a dead straight line of 14 or 15 satellites heading East which I found more impressive and inspiring that even Haley’s comet in the 80s I think it was.
I’m probably one of the last humans alive to see Musks artwork but I found it awe inspiring to say the least, the other group of stars PPFFFFT.
My grandson hit it on the head when it comes to space and how insignificant we are ” if you could design a craft that traveled at a billion kilometers a second even in a billion years it would have traveled nowhere compared to the size of the universe” and he’s right.

      • KEA ,These were unmistakably human made ,they were like reasonably bright stars in a straight line moving east and I’d guess the string of them would be hundreds of kilometers long, what made it so astonishing to me was I first noticed 4 or 5 and they just kept appearing out from behind what must have been hazey cloud which I couldn’t actually see , Musk is an extraordinary Human being and IMHO should be remembered like Einstein, Galileo ,Darwin etc..

        • The wife and I were enjoying a late evening Jacuzzi bubble. We often see as many as five satellites in 20 minutes or so. That particular evening we saw 1, then 2, then 3 in a row going the same direction. Over the next few minutes we counted 53!

        • Musk is a conman who preys on the pretentiousness of the ignorant. But yes it looks amazing. Musk fans seem to have no knowledge of the space race. Musk hasn’t gone further than the USSR did in the 1950’s. Let that sink in…

None of the things you believe about musk are true.

Checkout Thunderfoot and The Common Sense Sceptic, on YouTube, for the reasons for my view.

I do support his work on Twitter though.

Musk “money pick up rating” MPR is higher than any billionaire in history, it works like this ,$10.000 in $100.00 bills are spread on the floor, would it be worth the time it takes for musk to stop and pick it up ? Musk is the 1st person that can answer No ,yourself on the other hand could set up a tent and spend 6 weeks at it .

  2. I started to watch the ginger 45kg man on YouTube last night regarding the woman above drinking and not taking either an Uber or taxi or using her driver in her vehicle thanks to us taxpayer, and his take on the subject was all about mental health. I have had a few speeding tickets in the past, but definitely not paying the fine now, I will proclaim that I have dreadful mental health due to personal issues which have given me terrible stress. That is evidently the reason she was drinking and driving her car. With the exorbitant salary as a cabinet minister we paid her I would have thought she could afford an uber FFS. I got the impression that he thought he could get her back!!!!!! Did I misunderstand what he was saying? I only listened to a couple of minutes of it all.

      • It appears that there is a shitload of lying going on and not telling the truth and the whole truth with Kiri Allan, with what is reported in the media.
Did the police give her a free ride by not taking her directly to the cop shop. Did the stop off for coffee and doughnuts to sober her up?
Did the police delay the proper blood/breath test at the police station, to allow her test to be not as high?
Labor Prime Minister Chris Hipkins is fudging the issue by the weasel excuse “but her alcohol test was just over the limit //////” yer it would be if she had the time to have coffee and doughnuts for a period beforehand!
Our Prime Minister is not lily white in this case!!!
Kiri Allen is a nutcase and should not have been gien any ministerial roles in this labor government, but because the puddle is so shallow, she was welcomed back //////

        • And to think that this woman whose “mental health problems” would preclude her being considered a “fit and proper person” to have a firearms licence should be in charge of the department forcing the ludicrous expensive and ineffective firearms register on law abiding sports shooters who ARE fit and proper persons makes me want to vomit!

In respect of ‘ I got the impression that he thought he could get her back!!!!!!’ I have heard that she HAS actually be reinstated with no questions being asked!

Can anyone confirm this (And if true, suggest why luxflakes is apparently saying and doing absolutely nothing in protest)?

    Thank you.

      • Any opposition politician worth a shit would be having a field day over all these ructions. They would be absolutely all over this last one and creaming it for all its worth.

But what do we hear from that utterly useless soy boy Luxon? Nothing. Zero. Zilch.

        12

        0

        • Remember when Luxon started as leader he said he wanted to “do politics differently” and the first thing he did was have a one on one with each National MP and among other things asked each of them, how they could work with the Government , at times, in their appointed spokes person roles.

In my opinion he is at least partially to blame for the current state of NZ.

          • Yes Ross, sometimes you want to see a bit of Mongrel.

Unfortunately Luxon does not display any, just a damp squib and that is high praise. Any good Politician worth his salt, so close to an Election would be sticking the knife into this inept Government and making Hay while the sun shines.

            A totally useless disappointing Pratt.

  4. Good education provides opportunity. We need to go back to teaching the building blocks in education – reading, writing, numeracy, science.
Education should stimulate the minds of our young people. We believe in education, not indoctrination.
Gender ideology being taught in schools, truancy, teacher shortages – these problems not only impact us now, they have long-term issues for our country and our local communities.

  5. The Unsettling Rise of Microwave Syndrome
EMF: The Invisible Hazard (Part 2)

Courtney Gilardi’s 10-year-old daughter never had problems sleeping. But in August 2020, the morning after a 5G cell tower was installed within 450 feet of their Pittsfield, Massachusetts, home, she woke up complaining of headaches, dizziness, a buzzing in her head, and general malaise.

Normally, she gets up at 8 a.m. But on that day, she didn’t come downstairs till the afternoon.

“She didn’t look well, and she said that she was headachy, dizzy, fuzzy. Those are not words that she has ever used to describe how she’s been feeling before,” Ms. Gilardi said.

    https://www.theepochtimes.com/health/the-unsettling-rise-of-microwave-syndrome-5369757?utm_source=newsnoe&src_src=newsnoe&utm_campaign=breaking-2023-07-24-1&src_cmp=breaking-2023-07-24-1&utm_medium=email&est=eBRFIOY%2B%2Bg%2FtaM1QF2xsWDqm8AsZ6%2F4cxa%2Fq6WqYPRBP9bxk2zsw0L5oKVMHb6Q%3D

    • Viking,

      Thanks for the link.

I don’t get the down ticks. It is well known among us techies that radio waves do disturb brain patterns. The closer the source and the higher the wattage the worse it becomes. And it is well documented that some people are are very sensitive.

Some people have crappy sleep if they sleep with their mobile phone in the same room, and I’m not talking about the mobile phone ringing. Living in a house under high tension wires impacts health, and that is well documented also. The reason for these phenomenons is that human body is a biological / electrical construction.

I could write a book on all this but suffice to say, that linked article is in all probability genuine.

Your down tickers are probably closet Labour voters / Ardern worshippers, who got jabbed. Because two of the key nasty issues with the vaccines was the high electrically charged Spike protein that disrupts the fine ion charge balance in the body; And that effect is amplified by the electrically and magnetically conductive graphene oxide. If they don’t believe RF / electrical waves can affect you, then they also would not entertain the idea that the spike protein and graphene oxide would have any impact either.

And they also probably won’t have an issue with the fact that Gates and Co are pushing hard to release airborne graphene oxide particles (nanites???) into the atmosphere to control global warming populations. Many counties have said no, and it looks like the UN or WHO will become the “objective” parties that will “oversee and regulate” deployment.

      On RF waves:
When I was 18, I was invited up to visit the local TVNZ transmitter array. As we parked the car, we saw a big sign. “Do not park beyond this sign, as paint may flake off your car.” In addition to flaking, internal heating will occur before the flaking. To those technically dumb naysayers: If RF waves can cause paint to de-laminate and peel off your car, imagine what would it do to your brain cells!

And the technically astute may recall that de-lamination is what happened to the building steel, and aluminum and steel of cars and anything metal in the vicinity of the twin towers.

      • Dylan, one gets to ignore downtickers. There are always those that disagree and that’s fine and then there are the numb skulls with closed minds or the plain dumb and ignorant who are scientifically challenged about everything including their fanny and penis.
Take your pick ones you think they are.

  6. Recently I posted on Marc Ellis moving to Italy. Seems he may have been on the money. In this short clip a Yank explains why he moved to Italy. And the answer was quite simple – he couldn’t afford to retire in The United Police States Of America. All his costs in Italy have near halved comparative to America. Example: medical insurance in US $1460 a month.

But what intrigued me was what NZ was famous for 50 years ago – the people care, take an interest in you, and give great service. In other words, a sense of community.

    • The whole medical set up in the USA is a shocker.
We have experienced the tyranny of the medical companies from there in the last 3 + years.
They largely fund commercial teevee with their domination of advertising ; so call a lot of shots.
Yankees are conditioned to see universal healthcare as pure communism.

Access to healthcare as experienced in Canada is seen as WTF. And yet people in the northern USA will go over the border to purchase day to day drugs.

One notable point is that Italy has a great Prime Minister.
      That will not last forever.
You can be sure the crooked US Govt will be doing everything they can to white ant Meloni ; as they have been doing regime changes for over 130 years now – always for the worse.

Colonel Gaddafi supplied free universal healthcare to the people of Libya. He was a bad man//. The yanks took him out (along with the english and french governments)
Now it is back to anarchy.
This is the goal of the Green party of ao tear rower.

Goodness is temporary. Evil never sleeps.

Re ‘ In other words, a sense of community’.

BUT, ‘…A sense of community’ means that the socialist /. communist ideology (As exemplified locally by labour and the gweens) CANNOT exercise control and so it must be dismantled and the people within said community separated, hence the on-going disruption which labour has carefully engineered over the past six years.

Put simply, Hipkins et al don’t WANT a unified community and will undermine it by all and any means possible.

In their world, CONTROL OF EVERYTHYING (Except, of course, themselves) is all!

          • I get emails from Trademe with new listing in the area. What is noticeable is that there are rarely any mortgagee sales and that the vast majority of new listing are either auction or negotiation. I would have expected in a market under stress to see a lot more properties with asking prices and a rising number of mortgagee sales. That is not to say that those trends can’t develop but no real signs yet.
On the rental side though anecdotally I am seeing a lot more signs with for rent. One down the road from us has been empty for 3 weeks now. That is unusual for this area. Time will tell I guess.

Claims the current Government is the “most chaotic Cabinet this country has ever seen” are ridiculous, says Prime Minister Chris Hipkins.

The past 24 hours have been a turbulent and testing time for Hipkins, who on Monday was forced to make another Cabinet reshuffle after the resignation of senior minister Kiri Allan – who’s facing charges following a car crash in Wellington on Sunday night.

During a press conference on Monday, Hipkins told reporters he believed Labour could still win the next election.

“It’s not a good look, isn’t it, in the week that you’re meant to announce your tax policy that your Revenue Minister basically resigns?” AM host Ryan Bridge asked Hipkins on Tuesday.

  9. Election 2023: Peter Dunne says Labour’s re-election has ‘become like Everest’
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2023/07/election-2023-peter-dunne-says-labour-s-re-election-has-become-like-everest.html

“It’s not a good look when you’re fighting an election that the polls show is going to be neck and neck anyway and I think people will be starting to wonder about whether it’s worth the effort or whether perhaps a change is in the wind.”

Labour has seen five ministers depart this year. It started when Ardern resigned.

You have enabled labour to show it’s true colours.
They are that short of talent they keep a mad “woman” in charge of Justice dept.
That shows how much they are lacking in talent!

  10. Correction.

Last night I put up the results of the latest Voters United poll and I said it looks like a lot more people were looking outside the main parties. I did not notice that they had scaled the poll results to reflect the 225,000 that voted for minor parties in 2020, so my conclusion is not really correct. They should have just given the poll results as they were. Maybe there were not many participating.

    https://votersunited.nz/polls/

    6

    0

    • Its also just an echo chamber result to start with, then add the scaling to completely fudge it.
Then look at the stupidity of participants that only want biased polls that exclude all other parties.

Really that page shows nothing of value at all and has been a complete waste of time. I cant see mentioned anywhere how many actually participated,i remember seeing at one stage when it was open that a bit over 2.5k had voted…. id be suprised if it went over 10k

  11. Throughout millions of years of human evolution men and women have complimented each other in the fight for survival. The female tendency to put subjective feelings and desires ahead of hard facts and pragmatism was balanced out by the male perspective. Just as men’s shortcomings were moderated by women. This enabled mankind to flourish.

In the West their success resulted in life becoming easy. The safe nest women desire. This safety resulted in the rise of the simp. A weak insincere male who will say and do anything to get female attention (sex). This has removed the male/female balance. The simp is responsible for the far left and every single thing I see moaned about on YSB.

  12. How long before average ( hardcore) Mardee get fed up with their trough feeding representatives in parliament and decide to take matters into their own hands. Let’s see:

1- There’s thousands of gang members itching to get rid of Whitey and make NZ a gangsters paradise.
2- The majority of our army is Mardee. The majority of the SAS is Mardee
3- The country is so woke they could walk all over the average Kiwi.
4- Young Mardee already inhabit a world where whitey plays a minimal role. They only interact with whitey when they have to.
5- A coup has already been tried in the past. Elders stopped it eventuating.

So all that’s needed is an intelligent young Mardee who can put the pieces of the puzzle together and come to the conclusion that this country could be theirs with minimal effort. At the very least they could annex part of the country and have complete control.
All that’s needed is a template. Something to inspire. What about these guys.

  19. Tikanga is a collection of beliefs: it is not “law”

    Introduction and Background

In the Ellis case [1], a majority of the New Zealand Supreme Court stated that tikanga was “the first law” of New Zealand. It is clear from the judgments of the majority that, if the Supreme Court’s stance is confirmed in a case where such pronouncements are necessary for the judgment, tikanga will apply generally within the common law of New Zealand.[2]

This essay explains that the “tikanga” the judgment endorses cannot be the “first” law because it is not “law” at all.

Savage when he was PM would not allow any returned service men to be in Cabinet so Lee, a returned Service man, who was the driver of the state house idea and program always was outside of cabinet and they vilified him because he was a returned serviceman. That nasty remains today. They have bought and destroyed all his books where they have been able.
One day I happened to lunch with Goff in an Army function. Talked to him about some of these things and Savage was held in awe and Lee was still the bastard.
MY wifes Grandfather was a member of Savages Govt. and he would not join the forces at all. Total pacifist. Well until he met me. I was a Tory in his eyes but he got used to this nice Tory boy. Thought his Granddaughter had good taste. And she did.

My wifes mother spent a lot of time travelling with her Father while he was politicking.
Knew all them fella’s and not long before she passed away ventured an opinion about Savage. Being polite she described him as not a nice man. If you ever wondered why it was always reported that the women swooned over Savage it was because he was a homosexual. He died of a very nasty disease that was never revealed but no doubt contacted from a European source via some returned soldier.

We have boxes of all the paper clippings of his travels and the meetings etc.

    • NZ once again punches beyond its weight. We have supermarkets in multicultural areas where you don’t need a smartphone app. Obese, female early settlers just walk in, load up the trolley & wheel it home or out to the car park while everyone stands aside in case they get the bash or accused of racism.

  20. Have a listen to Nigel Farage.

Takes the action of the CEO of the Natwest bank to bits. Absolutely daming of the tart.
I am left often with the thought that so many of these women who get to those positions really are pieces of shit worse then men. Look at our public service and the attitudes and behaviours.
Menopausal women with excess testosterone or something.

    Followed up by this.

  21. They say nothing is impossible but thanks to the efforts of ex Labour Ministers Nash, Whaitiri, Wood & now Allan I reckon we’ve reached the point where bringing the NZ House of Representatives into disrepute is no longer achievable.

  22. There’s more to this story than we’re being told.

    Andrea Vance:
“Prime Minister Chris Hipkins has evaded crucial questions about a drunken car crash which led to his justice minister Kiri Allan facing criminal charges – including whether she left the scene of the accident
    .
But he is now under pressure to explain the circumstances which led to Allan being taken into custody, following the crash with a parked vehicle on a wet, waterfront road.
    .
In an extraordinary post-Cabinet press conference, Hipkins refused to be drawn on what he knew about the arrest, and twice declined to say whether Allan had left the scene. He also wouldn’t say if she was taken to hospital before being driven to the police station.

Earlier on Monday, Hipkins had said the facts were initially contested and that he had received “conflicting messages” about what had happened. “The problem was that I couldn’t speak to her directly last night, but there was some suggestion that she might have said that she wasn’t driving.”

Once charged, she accepted she was in the driver’s seat, he added.

Defending his refusal to answer further questions about the arrest, Hipkins said he would be “dialling back” his comments while police were investigating.

Officers were called after witnesses saw a white Hyundai Kona rounding a gentle bend, then collide with ute, blocking one lane of Evans Bay Parade at Little Karaka Bay.

The force shunted the stationary ute over a driveway and left dents, bumper damage and two flat tyres.

Allan was seen sitting in the car after the accident. But there were conflicting reports about what happened next.

Kaitlyn, a local resident woken by the crash, found the car abandoned in the road. Another neighbour turned on the vehicle hazard lights and put out a road cone to alert other drivers.

Police cars and a dog handler were then seen by a reporter from The Post almost a kilometre away on Oriental Parade.

Police have refused to make any comment on the arrest, other than to confirm the charges and that she was summonsed to appear in court at a later date.”

    • There is a discrepancy with the timeline as well!
Where was she from the time of crash and seen by media been carted in Welly cop shop?
When was the evidentual blood test/breath test done how many hours after the crash?
Why is chippie spinning the only just over the limit, with weasel words!

        • You’re onto it Nasska. Crocodile tears?

Labour MP Willie Jackson’s message to those politicising ‘sensitive’ Kiri Allan case
          https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2023/07/labour-mp-willie-jackson-s-message-to-those-politicising-sensitive-kiri-allan-case.html

Labour MP Kiri Allan has announced she’ll be leaving politics for the foreseeable future, deciding not to run in October’s election following her arrest over a car crash.

“We did not need to have this type of debate today,” said Willie Jackson.

Afterwards, Jackson, Allan’s close friend and confidant, was holding back tears.

“This is such a sensitive issue and we’ve got someone who’s going through a terrible time at the moment,” Jackson said.

          • Maybe Willie, the nasty cussing beeaach can own some of her toxic behaviour.
she has a completely messed up private life and this has clearly spilled over into her $300,000+ a year working life.

Speaking of carpets, there is a lot of shit swept under the carpet with this one with her uncontrolled violence , her association with the the Urewera raids, and the fact this ‘accident’ happened a kilometer or 2 from where another ‘off the rails’ labour pardy homosexual – Darren Hughes- fucked up his political career.

Is her child safe with this level of madness going on?
We have seen (more than) enough violence towards maori children without another ‘statistic’.
We have a court case on in NZ right now where women/mother (?) was stressed and killed her kids, so it is a fair question.

Someone needs to harden the fuck up and sort this out.
Notional had the likes of S Joyce and Bill birch to do this in the olden days .
            H2 would have sorted it.

If labour care about people (I know, right! ) then someone needs to make some hard decisions and stop fking well bullshitting.

My pick at the TAB is for 2:1 that Kiri Alan will not see 50 years of age on this current path.
            Do THEY care?
            Words mean nothing

Horseshit from Willie Jackson does not move things towards a solution .

  23. I’m sure a few here do but for people fence sitting on who they are going to vote for please take time to engage with Parliament TV particularly Debates and Question Time. The current political shit show will remain a shit show with
some of the other parties not much/any better. Vote wisely or it will be a race to see who will be left to turn out the lights.
