  1. Morning everyone, Blimy am I the first on the board this morning??????
I sincerely doubt that anyone standing for election this year is in it for us. The last few elections no one has been in it for us, by any stretch of the imagination they have all been in it for themselves. Troughing and new opportunities for their futures. . Just my thoughts on this blustery winters day from Hamilton. Have a great day out there and be careful, you never know and all that…….

  2. Shame about losing the football last night. The good part is Pravda One news won’t have to waste the first 5 to 10 minutes telling us how well the tournament is going instead of giving us the real news. Talk about bread and circuses.

  3. Well there goes the election, it looks like another 3 years of labour, Nude Nut just declared when asked about doing a deal with the drunken dwarf after the election “we won’t be doing deals with any other political party” , he is simply not up to the job any more than Hipkins is, we’re fucked.

  4. Labour have cocked up their new law to prevent vape stores withing 300m of schools. Turns out it only applies to dedicated vape outlets; supermarkets, dairies and gas stations can continue unaffected.

  5. I can’t predict the weather in 10 years time (it will be raining in Auckland though) but I see a trend developing of a homosexual labour MP and ‘future Prime Minister’ having a melt down and cray cray event on the Eastern side of the Hataitai tunnel.

I mean you have Darren Hughes in 2011; Kiri Allan in 2023
    May this trend continue. 🙂
and it is more likely than the earth temp being 2 degrees warmer in 20 years or whatever the climatards squeal out.

    • This at the end of the story

      “Evidence-based qualifications
Ardern’s monopoly on veracity was cited in the announcement of her appointment as a major qualification for her new role.”

Because she insisted she was the podium of truth, not to listen to anyone else, she gets a job in Harvard as their chief bullshitter.

    • A university with a censorship role ceases to be a University. I believe it was good in the past. Universities are supposed to be about research and data. A lot have forgotten their core role in academia.

  6. What do you get from a dwarf cow?

    Condensed Milk.

Why do elephants paint their balls red.

So they can hide in a cherry tree.

Why do you never see elephants hiding in a tree?

They are very good at it..
My coat is by the door. Go to work you lazy buggers. do something exciting today.

  7. From the debate over Allan yesterday
“Te Pāti Māori co-leader Rawiri Waititi said Parliament was “unsafe, more so for Māori, and more so again for wāhine Māori”, and listed Māori women MPs that had faced political strife.
“The record shows for itself, the rules and traditions of this place, perpetuate an unsafe culture.”

Perhaps he should consider the standard of Maori Woman they are selecting and their suitability for the position.

Antony Blinken’s visit just happens to coincide with a trip to Wellington by Anthony Albanese.

The Australian Prime Minister is coming for talks with his New Zealand counterpart, Chris Hipkins.

It seems inevitable that New Zealand’s potential role in the AUKUS defence pact will be up for discussion in closed-door meetings involving Albanese, Blinken, Hipkins and Mahuta.

  9. This may more aptly describe Kiri Allan’s driving, as Kiri’s new ram raiding legislation would be so effective.

24 Jul, 2023 …..“I looked over, the driver and one of the rear passengers both had a handgun pointed at me trying to signal and shout at me to take the next exit which was coming up in about 100 or so meters,” …..
…….. they all looked to be under 21 years old. ….

…. heard of other stories this year of people having guns pulled on them or being shot at on the road. ….
    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/handguns-brandished-at-motorist-while-driving-on-waikato-expressway/OYBTUEBMHRED5O3JYWJVXZUYTM/

Was this the only time? & reported with enough evidence for the police to actually act on it.
    Earlier this year in May.

    • Stupid fool!
Should have suddenly driven into the side of the other car.
It would have driven off the road and barrel rolled with a big crash!
Cops would have no problem identifying the idiots then!

  10. Hang on a minute. Since our beloved ‘leader’ left our fair shores to pontificate at our beloved great tax expense at the all encompassing Diversity UNI in America…,I wonder if wonder woman has sorted out “child povady” in America as she did here as she eats her fucken oats as mares do on the big jobs.

Seriously, she’s a chancer. Luxon, Seymour etc etc should start calling out her failed tenure with chippy the boy blunder ‘refuding’ her abysmal performance.

My question is how many have been playing musical chairs during liarbours reign of terror and how many chairs did they manage to squeeze their fat arses into?
Who out that lot are still in their original position?
Are they competent or are they too dumb to move?

  12. It is only a matter of time before NZ grinds to a complete halt strangled by red tape & mad women of both sexes screaming about safety. I spent yesterday driving a truck & trailer moving fill being excavated from a private road reconstruction project. It’s so boring that I find myself daydreaming about watching grass grow but I got talking to the engineer in charge of the job & it turned out I’d met him thirty odd years ago. After we discussed mutual acquaintances, who should be killed & how they should die conversation turned to the useless bastards in the road coning industry.

He revealed that they get paid on average $1000 per day per vehicle, $6 per day for each road cone & $5 every time they shift the cone. Small wonder we have pot holes.

  13. Seen as Kiri Allan is yet to be sentenced for pissed in charge////
If convicted will she have to pay back the taxpayer for damage to the taxpayers car?
Presume she be paying for the ute as well she ramraided. No insurance if pissed?
Just aswell she is been paid by the taxpayer till 3mths after the election////
The taxpayer may get their money back???

    • She might be forking out for a Mazda ute as well. Appears that the damage is a bit more than a dent & a burst tyre.

Look at the rear wheel/axle placement. It’s been pushed forward at least 75mm which will probably translate into a bent chassis member meaning the ute will be written off. https://resources.stuff.co.nz/content/dam/images/4/z/6/2/k/9/image.related.StuffLandscapeSixteenByNine.1420×800.4z62za.png/1690245822738.jpg?format=pjpg&optimize=medium

That’s wahine road rage for ya.

I personally am just disappointed that Kiri was driving a white car.
What sort of message does that send our young people and struggling yoof of the East Coast.
I think that road needs a tapu and some well paid Elders to cleanse the area of the bad juju.

and since Kiri lost her shit there, there needs to be a police dive squad to find it for her.

      • The reporters are too stupid to notice that. They’ve mentioned panel damage and a flat tyre, all without seeing that the wheel the tyre is attached to has been pushed well forward. The suspension on that side will have been torn out by the leaf springs.

What you suggest is fair and sensible.
Fair and sensible went out the window in Oct 2017.
      Don’t think White, boyo
      Think brown.
(but not Wayne Brown, he is white and evil)

Rawiri Waititi of the famous Waititi clan, and son in law of Chief Hone Tamihere, will be around to your house and yammer to you for 2 hours straight about picking on successful wahine maori.
After 2 hours of that bro, you will agree to anything to get him out of the house !!!
“Oh yes Rawiri I agree she should not have to pay; yes Rawiri I am a racist pig; yes Rawiri I will pay for the damage; but please leave and stop talking….”

This is a cultural appropriation after all.
Rawiri is showing support for his Central ‘merican oppressed cousins.

“The English word cowboy was derived from vaquero, a Spanish word for an individual who managed cattle while mounted on horseback.
Vaquero was derived from vaca, meaning “cow”, which came from the Latin word vacca.”

Maybe the green guacamole gay, the MP for Mexico, March, likes to dress up in his cowboy gear and ride his boyfriend hard.

FFS, Hunter Bidens lawyer rang the Delaware court where Hunter will plead guilty for his offenses and get off with a sweetheart deal and pretended to be a Rebulican Lawyer who had been giving the Judge information about the bidens corruption scandals ,he was saying the Republicans wanted to withdraw those reports and papers .
He’s now been caught out by the Clerk of the court and the shit is hitting the fan, He must have been on drugs to think for a second that he was going to get away with that, bye bye Hunters plea deal .

  15. Sheila’s who have been in parliament. Funny how when you see a name the scandals, likes and dislikes come flooding back.

Whetu Tirikatene-Sullivan had a good run- nearly thirty years. When she died she had a quick family only tangi, Willie Jackson became upset because she had broken Maori protocol. But Maori tangis can be exhausting affairs for the grieving family involved,
For example there is church at 7am and 7pm each day of the tangi. I think Whetu wanted to save her family all of the hassle, and the chance of an altercation arising given many politicians of different hues who’d have turned up

    • The weeping and wailing goes on for days. I was very fond of a certain great uncle, a Dorset-born Englishman of great gentlemanly manners. His daughter (my father’s cousin) married a hori. Decent enough chap. But daughter and hori son-in-law lived not far from my great-uncle so when he died the fucking hori in-laws popped right out of the bush, muscled in and and carted him off to the marae, despite the rather contrary wishes of the wider family, including my elderly grieving great-aunt. It was three days of ceremonial bullshit, drinking and feasting, all at my family’s considerable expense. I went for the service but refused to have anything to do with the rest of the ghastly affair. Fucking bastards.

  16. Former Labour MP’s say female Maori MP’s are under intense pressure in Parliament.

Bollocks! No more than any other MP.

There are a lot of faux excuses put up, but not one actual reason or any evidence whatsoever of this “intense pressure.”

Without evidence to back up these claims, there is no validity to their argument.

As soon as they had that fleeing chink up on a kidnapping charge but still didn’t have her, it was clear to anybody with half a brain that it was all over and they would be searching for a suitcase in a ditch.

During our free hour we automatically turn on two water heaters, the pool pump, jacuzzi, Charge the EV and anything else that needs doing. At 3:00 PM the lights in Whangarei dim!

If these Pratts at The Spinoff were any more to the left they would fall off the edge of the Earths surface. I really don’t care and maybe if Mr Grieve had been a little more balanced in his Newsletters, then maybe he would not have lost so many “Members.”

New Firearms Safety Authority criticised after gun owner data leak
The emails visible in the CC section included prominent Aucklanders, in some cases revealing the first and last name and place of work. File photo / Andrew Warner

The newly created Firearms Safety Authority have found themselves in the gun after another inadvertent leak of the details of Auckland firearms owners.

In an email sent shortly after noon Wednesday, seen by the Herald, Auckland Central Police District firearms staff emailed more than 100 gun owners to warn them their listed firearms licence address may not be up to date.

Their email addresses, in many cases including their first and last names, were visible in the cc field, rather than hidden in the bcc section.

The visible addresses included various prominent Auckland residents, including lawyers, company directors, police officers and government officials.

The email was sent from the Auckland City Police District’s firearms email address and signed NZ police, but also carried the signature and logo of the new Firearms Safety Authority, set up to administer the newly launched gun register.

  23. Thousands of Māori switch rolls ahead of October election

he electoral commission said nearly 40,000 voters of Māori descent changed rolls, enrolled for the first time, or updated their details between March 31 and midnight of July 13, this year.

Some 14,587 changed rolls, with 8109 moving from the general roll to the Māori roll, and 6478 from the Māori roll to the general roll.

Before the law change Māori could only switch between the Māori and general electoral rolls once every five to six years during a four-month slot after the census, despite elections occurring every three years.

  24. Post-modernism and the Degrading of Education in New Zealand

By Peter Schwerdtfeger, John Raine and David Lillis

    Education in Serious Decline

Make no mistake – New Zealand’s education system is currently in steep decline (Armstrong, 2023), and the country cannot afford another generation of young people getting a second-rate education. In this article we discuss the causes and remedies for this damaging long-term slide.

Fish caught illegally at Long Bay/Okura marine reserve.

An Auckland man described as New Zealand’s worst ever recreational fish poacher has been fined $4000 and had his equipment seized.

The 27-year-old, who has been granted interim name suppression, was repeatedly caught fishing at the Long Bay-Okura Marine Reserve, an area where fishing is illegal.

He was warned five times by maritime police, fisheries officers, and Department of Conservation staff after being caught fishing there.
