  1. Yesterday, one of the highest ranking Officials in the US Government and one of the Worlds most powerful men, was in New Zealand. An immaculately dressed man is Anthony Blinken.

Yesterday, Anthony Blinken was welcomed to this country, at Parliament by one of the country’s and World’s scruffiest Foreign Ministers. What a disgraceful, disrespectful example of humanity is the New Zealand Foreign Minister, Nania Mahuta who really shows how low this country has sunk. The best she can do is a pair of well worn sneakers. Even a Rat with a Gold Tooth, Winston Peters would not be seen dead in his coffin looking like this.

    • Its not the point but how does one get a physical address from an email address?

Its only a matter of time tho before its hacked or some muppet sends out full details of registry users incl addresses and an inventory list.

      • Don’t know in general SB. But in my case you’d know who I was from my email address. There’s only one person in NZ with my name. Then it wouldn’t be difficult. What these muppets don’t seem to realise is that it doesn’t matter how good your gun security is. The gang can just come round when you’re home, and ask for the keys. And you oblige.

    • Although a very different type of case, in that the victim’s motive is very different, and being stupid by being lured to a house.

…. the violent assault came to an end when the man gave up the passcode to his cellphone. …

One can see that through a “home invasion” & for one’s own “health & safety” & due regard for your family’s safety, in passing up the keys/codes then a pressure to remain silent,.
Once they comply then there could well develop a black market for guns & ammunition.

Just as ruthless & more as ram raiders, developing to car-jacking, to home invasion, to highway men & more

It would seem police are not our friends as Julian Batchelor found out.
…. On the 24th July, 7pm Julian was booked to talk at the race course in Hastings.
At 10am on that day, the police were notified.
At 11am we were notified that the police had spoken to the racecourse managers.
At midday the racecourse managers phoned to inform us that our booking was cancelled. ….

…. the following night we held another meeting and a great crowd turned up.
This time the police were not informed.
This time invite was by telephone only.
We held the meeting, and no protesters turned up which has never happened before on tour.
It was the first time we had not told the police where we were meeting. ….

      https://www.stopcogovernance.kiwi/blog/another-great-night-in-hastings-last-night/

Where seconds count, the police at best are minutes away, or hours, or days & more away.
Even worse, colluding with offenders! in dancing on pins, like the gang tangi support, & even worse casually perverting the course of justice in other instances.

The the question is do the police really care in doing their job? or are the agents in enforcing some Parliamentary clap trap.

      • Julian said that the other night when talking to plunket.
so the police are advising the owners in the hope it will be cancelled and they won’t have to do any work. Dock theeir bloody pay and remaind them that we pay them for doing the work.
Bet there is a woman in charge in that district.Like so many of the others.

    • The mistake that resulted in the data being leaked was a very basic error. It indicates that those responsible have no systems, no procedures, and no idea. No idea about security, no idea about privacy, no idea on the importance of safeguarding personal data, and no systems that enforce best practice. And the person sending the emails, didn’t even have basic primary school training about how to send emails.

A few years ago, I received an email from a major worldwide vendor that had released an online cloud service for looking after technology infrastructure, and sent out tens of thousands of emails to resellers worldwide. And every email was on the ‘To:’ line. So I got thousands of email addresses, as did everyone else on the list. The email was telling us about this new cloud service and how “safe and secure” it was. Yeah right!!!

I declined to use this service (as a rule I don’t sell or promote any cloud services), citing the privacy breach. I was told it was a “one off”. Yeah right.!!!

The service has been hacked multiple times since.

Essentially, if there is a data breach of this degree of stupidity with the gun register, the organisation, in this case the police should lose the right to have such data.

      13

      0

      • And taking what I said further, a professional security system/process designer knows that human mistakes happen. So the system is designed so that if human error occurs it can not lead to a system outage, or data breach.

In this instance the register system would be standalone from any normal email system; Emailing would be set up on the system so that if bulk emails are sent, they all go as blind emails. That is the way even marketing systems work.

It is a standard in some schools, especially overseas, to teach email skills and etiquette. Starting at year 4 and up, so 9 or ten year olds.

From this we can conclude that both the IT people and users at the gun register have less intelligence than a nine year old. Perhaps those responsible should resign.

        https://www.ictesolutions.com.au/blog/how-to-use-emails-in-a-primary-literacy-context/

Actually the responsibility rests with the managers and their IT people. The person who sent the emails can actually be forgiven because they should never have been given a system that could be derailed so easily. In the past I’ve “fired” clients who wanted me to set their IT up in an insecure way.

“Hackers don’t cause data breaches. People do.” Stupid managers and stupid IT people.

The vaccines didn’t kill people. The vaccines have no conscience. The people that mandated the vaccines, told everyone they were safe and effective, when they had a responsibility to ascertain that they were they were safe and effective, they are the ones that killed people. You can’t lay criminal charges against a vial, but you can lay them against those that forced you to be injected.

        8

        0

      • Well if it’s not important enough to collect the data, they have no argument for a register.

“COLFO recently asked the Police for information on the number of seized firearms that have been traced to licensed firearm owners, after Police Association President Chris Cahill also claimed criminals sourced most of their firearms from licensed owners. Police said the request could not be fulfilled because they do not collect the data. Therefore, the Police do not have data to support what they are telling journalists. COLFO has complained to the Ombudsman.”

  4. Geographic investigative analysis for crime cases can be manual and time-consuming, but new research can make the process faster and more accurate.

New research, by University of Waikato Honorary Research Associate Dr Sophie Curtis-Ham, could help police resources go further by automating laborious analysis while eliminating subjectivity and human error.

Dr Curtis-Ham has developed a new algorithm that automates part of the geographic profiling process to make the process more efficient for analysts in investigative police work.

Geographic profiling involves analysing geographic aspects of crimes to prioritise places or people for the investigation to focus on.

      • And he has a good vibe around him. Relaxed in turmoil, firm in his coinvictions.
Before DNZ became opublic there was a lot of work done about policy.
The 5 that quit wanted to deform that policy. Kirsten although she is only a property conveyancer though she knew more than a constitutional Lawyer. Each had thioer own barrow which they thought should be the clincher. Never going to work and so the board after meetig etc decided one should go and the rest tossed the toys out of the cot. End of story. Same as would happen to you in an organization or a job if you were no prepared to work with policy.
They wanted it thier way. It is interesting to note that NZ First has copied word for word, some of that policy.

  8. Years ago in Auckland, someone claiming to be a Maori witch doctor offered Luxon an old telephone for sale. The seller claimed that the phone was Satan’s personal hotline. “You can call the Devil anytime.”
So Luxon bought the phone and did so. He had a five minute conversation with Satan, who gave him advice on running for Prime Minister. “You’ll win,” said Satan. “I guarantee it.”
On hanging up, Luxon discovered the call had cost him $5000. He swore a blue streak and refused to use the phone again.
Later, he took Satan’s advice and ran for PM. He won.
Having won, Luxon realised he did not have the first clue about what to do. He swallowed his pride and called Satan (whose real name was Klaus) back.
“Glad to hear from you,” said Satan. “Let me tell you how to screw New Zealand…”
After five minutes, Luxon hung up. Then he picked up the phone and asked what the bill was.
    “Five dollars, sir.”
    “Why the big discount?”
“It is now a local call, sir.”

Mainfreight announces hiring freeze amid tough conditions
    https://www.1news.co.nz/2023/07/28/mainfreight-announces-hiring-freeze-amid-tough-conditions/

Global transport and logistics company Mainfreight says conditions remain tough as it faces pressure from reduced volumes, falling freight rates and inflation.

In an update for the company’s annual shareholders meeting, it said group profit before tax in the June quarter was down 43% from a year ago, to $83.1 million, while revenue fell 19% to $1.19 billion.

The company was seeing “reasonable activity” in Australia, but was experiencing “poorer performances” in New Zealand, Europe and the United States.

Mainfreight chairperson Bruce Plested indicated the year ahead would be difficult.

      • Couldn’t happen to a more arrogant self serving bunch. I do battle with N.Z couriers about once a month. Their plan is hit you for anything they can and invoice first ask questions later. I normally get about 90% of the extra charges back, they go all funny when you tell them false invoicing is theft. It takes me the best part of a week to get a pallet load of product here from South Auckland with Mainfreight. I’m told they won’t let a truck move unless it’s totally full.

The Māori in Me: The concerning rise of ‘pretendians’ in indigenous communities

According to Anishinaabe man Drew Hayden Taylor, an award-winning playwright, author, columnist, filmmaker and lecturer, the past 10 years in Canada have seen a flood of white people being outed as ‘pretendians’ (pretend Indians) after claiming to be native when they’re not.

Speaking on the podcast, Professor Margaret Mutu said she believed while the issue of pretendians was unlikely to have the same impact here in Aotearoa, she had seen the odd person attempt to claim to be Māori to benefit financially.

“In this country it was shameful to be Māori, so why would anyone want to be Māori when they were not?” Mutu said.

“It was only when they started to impose the Treaty land claims some years ago that I thought the issue of pretendians could become a problem here too.

The growth of the sex industry is the breaking of society IMO. The New Zealand property market is a fascinating beast. We seem rather determined to make an economy out of trading non-productive assets between each other at higher and higher prices. Even Jacinda Ardern agreed, back in 2011, that our economy is a housing market with a few bits tacked on. However, it seems that the average New Zealand household struggles to get a toehold in this market, and these maps show why.

      • yep censored, most likely by Ardern.
“Sorry, this content isn’t available at this time”
I have found that they system is creeping along shutting things down.
Like if from a Canadian site, I can not access Utube through that site, as easily as I use to.

Just as I was also in the process of asking Ed about the bitchute video “Spotted, enemies in the wild” which also seems to have been taken down, so I deleted that message to Ed.
The Judge sentenced Nathan Raureti Symington, 2 years & 6 months jail as per Braybots nemesis comment above.

Yet one could confidently say that no animal, no human suffered any injury of died in the production of that vid. clip.

  28. The woke Anglo multi-nationals!

Guess what? The big Japanese daibatsu (hello Mitsui & Co.!) can be just as woke!
    Ref: https://www.mitsui.com/jp/en/sustainability/social/diversity/index.html

I am translating updates to the website of another big Japanese company (a cosmetics manufacturer whose main demographic is, you guessed it, females). Talk about woke!
There are pages and pages of “carbon-neutral” policy, LBGTQ+ and diversity and inclusion.

Whatever the woke bug that the English and the Americans have caught, the Japanese have caught it too!

These ideas and their wokeness are international!

Maybe the Chinese (in their push-back against “girly men”) will set an example to East Asia. Somehow I am not too sure…

Take heart, men of the West, you are not alone…

    • Thanks Odakyu-sen.
I do not know why, even though Japan likes to keep up with Western fashions, but I just generally believed that Japan would withstand that wokeness, even though they seem to have their idiosyncrasies in other ways.
Like as they have held so far against “mindless immigration”.

Also not full on pushing covid vaxxes as some Japanese Doctors were bringing up some interesting research findings.

Also officially not having Ivermectin, but seemed to be consciously not doing anything too much in extreme control of it.

Not being racist, 🙂 but we seem to be too many in the cooking pot of this confounding & controlling globalism.

Washington Correspondent, The Australian. Former Economics Editor (2018-2021).

Australia excess deaths rise to 12.3% above baseline in April 2023.
1000s more people dying than during the ‘pandemic’ every few months yet crickets.
We have lived through one of the most demented and despicable periods in history.

  30. Sicko’s.

A woman who at age 16 participated in the hours-long torture of her former friend inside an abandoned Māngere state home – but insisted she didn’t support the 17-year-old victim’s forced hanging – has been found guilty of kidnapping.

But jurors in the High Court at Auckland were not able to agree on verdicts for murder and manslaughter, meaning a lengthy retrial is now likely.

The group spent about 12 hours deliberating over the course of two days, indicating early on that they were in agreement on one charge regarding the kidnapping and death of Dimetrius “Precious” Pairama but hopelessly deadlocked on the other two.

  31. A woman who had managed to stay out of trouble for 22 years was on a methamphetamine-induced “slippery slope” when she got caught up in robbing two old ladies of their pokie winnings.

Jacqueline Rosalyn Patricia Walker, 47, was sentenced to home detention when she appeared in Napier District Court on Friday.

She was the driver when she and co-offender Jimi Nuki Haerewa, 32, got into a car and followed the two elderly women, aged 85 and 86, from the Horse and Hound bar in Hastings on March 15 last year.

  32. An Auckland councillor is gobsmacked at the spend on lawyers and consultants.

The council has paid out $190-million to the Big 4 global accountants and large law firms over the past five years.

It’s an average cost to ratepayers of more than $100,000 a day.

Councillor Mike Lee told Mike Hosking it’s deeply troubling and there’s been a lack of transparency.

He says the scale of spending was hidden from the council and Mayor and it’s time to open up the books.

      • They have long gone into the sunset.
Lots of leaky home shit I imagine.
Same here though. The council or its lawyers never know when to quit. They just keep on and on spending defending, prosecuting and losing.
21 houses trashed at their behest and they are still defending and losing.
No one has the balls to say Stop and fuck of .
        we will call you.
By the way they employ the same plonkers to negotiate. Mostly with piss poor results and big bill s for the ratepayers.

  33. It could be argued the biggest hurdle on New Zealand First’s path back to Parliament is the question that’s plagued the party for years and seemingly won’t go away.

It made its latest appearance at a public meeting in Northland’s Mangōnui this week, hosted by NZ First’s Northland candidate Shane Jones.

“Now a number of you, I know, in the audience have already said to me, ‘Oh Shane, why did you fullas bloody hook up with Labour in 2017, the reason we’ve got the dramas in 2023 is because you breathed life into a coalition agreement led by Jacinda Ardern’,” Jones quoted back to the 70-strong crowd.

“Folks, Mangōnui whānau, please remember that in 2020, 400,000-plus New Zealanders stopped voting for National, definitely never voted for us, and they gave their vote to Labour, they gave their vote to Jacinda.

“So it’s not fair, it’s not accurate to criticise Shane Jones and Winston Peters for the development of the Government in 2017, other than the fact we held negotiations.”

  34. The preacher, in his Sunday sermon, used “Forgive Your Enemies” as his subject.
After a long sermon, he asked how many were willing to forgive their enemies. About half held up their hands.
Not satisfied he harangued for another twenty minutes and repeated his question. This time he received a response of about 80 percent.
Still unsatisfied, he lectured for another 15 minutes and repeated his question. With all thoughts now on Sunday dinner, all responded except one elderly lady in the rear.
“Mrs. Jones, are you not willing to forgive your enemies?”
    “I don’t have any.”
“Mrs. Jones, that is very unusual. How old are you?”
    “Ninety three.”
“Mrs. Jones, please come down in front and tell the congregation how a person can live to be ninety-three, and not have an enemy in the world.”
The little sweetheart of a lady tottered down the aisle, very slowly turned around and said: “It’s easy, I just outlived the bitches.”
