  1. Morning kids. I am wondering, what would
have been found at Premier House in Wellington,
when a ….er, certain connoisseur of one of
South America’s greatest exports was residing there?

And, how many ‘lawnmowing contractors’ were
required on a weekly/ daily basis?

Have a great day fellow reprobates.

    • Mike you need to move to Austrukenfailure, over here the National Disability pay for Dick stretchers for all clients and you get a chaffeur ride to the ride. You just have to say you have a mental illness and you are in like flynn.
Grandson drives for a NDIS setup, says loves the trips to timezone, he gets $100 to put in machines as well.
I told him, if he really wants to dud the government, he could set up a Love van, pick up a few cheap street walkers and give clients a two for one, then charge the NDIS full wack.
He then told me they only use the high end reputable establishments.
This is true, the rorting is on a whole new scale.

    • She/He arrived yet? Look your exes are a lot cheaper and probably a lot tighter. ( Financially speaking of course, perverts). I’ll see if I can hustle up a few to cum over and relieve the pent up tension…. I’ll even do it just for a prayer…..

  2. Good morning all you freedom fighters, wet wet wet in the Tron this morning again. I can’t wait for this El Nino or El Nina or even El Chappo or what ever the hell it is comes.
Be careful out there……… and have a good day all you working people. Not sure if that includes our resident birdy, I am not sure that he works even. He seems to be able to post at a moments notice so he can’t be doing much in the way of productivity for his employer.

  3. Am I vindictive in that I saw my first Woman’s World Cup Game last night, the Semi Final all be it the last 20 minutes of it and England scored 2 goals to 1 to win 3-1. How pleasing was that, the lets have a National Holiday band waggon may stutter to a stop.

  4. In hindsight Sir John Key made the right call to cancel his trip to Maui given the situation. I have just seen an interview with one local resident lambasting the behaviour of tourists.

Unusual place, Maui. Wayne Dyer, Walter Becker and a host of other celebs have lived on the Island. Jimi Hendrix filmed Pali Gap on Maui. For me its chief attraction is Koa trees. While all the Hawaii islands grow Koa, in my opinion Koa from Maui is the best tone wood for guitars and ukuleles. It rivals Brazilian Rosewood. In the olden days only the Hawaiian royal family was allowed to possess this much sort after timber,

Another weird thing about Hawaii in general is the interior of some of the Islands have sparse vegetation and desert like conditions. This contrasts sharply with dense tropical forests that can be just a few kms down the road.

  5. From My Facebook page
Just received this email from a friend. I am sure he will not mind my posting it to show how stupid Air NZ has become – – but remember – – it was when LUXON was running Air NZ that all this crap was started and became the standard protocol for Air NZ – – and Luxon has not changed.
I’m at Perth Airport with a boarding pass that says “Auckland”. However the Flight Departures Board has no Auckland. My airline, Air New Zealand, has a flight to somewhere called “Tamaki-makau-rau” the legend “Toki-i roto
So I laboriously look this up in a Maori-English dictionary to find it means “the isthmus of Auckland”. I don’t wanna go there because I’ve parked my car at Mangere. But it is the sole option.
So then, I look at the directions column, to find “Toki-i roto i nga kiosks”. WTF does that mean! I give up and ask at a nearby cafe, but they don’t know either. So we proceed to the lounge, where the attendant (an Australian) didn’t know either, but giggled and said “thank God it isn’t in aboriginal language!”
So, exactly what is the point of the brain-dead Air New Zealand staff going out of their way to destroy their communications with their international customers! The cost is huge (because almost everybody prefers communications in a language they can read).
    The benefit is zero.

  6. Mrs Jones has been having some ‘womens problems’, and her husband says that she should go see her doctor. Off she goes to the doctors, and about an hour later she comes in with red eyes and mascara running down her face through crying. “What’s the matter, is it something serious ?“ he asks anxiously.
“ The doctor told me I had a lovely fanny” she sobbed.
“ HE SAID WHAT!” Said her husband.
“ He said I had a lovely fanny” she said.
“ I’m not having that, I’ll sort him out” hubby says. Off he goes to the doctors, goes straight past the receptionist and barges into the doctors surgery, grabs the doctor by the throat and pins him against the wall. “ You pervert. What do you think you are doing, telling my wife she has a lovely fanny?”
“No No Mr Jones” gasped the doctor, “I told your wife that she had Acute Angina”😀😀

  7. A guy is browsing in a pet shop and sees a parrot sitting on a little perch. It doesn’t have any feet or legs. The guy says aloud, “Sheesh. I wonder what happened to this poor Parrot?”

The parrot says, “I was born this way. I’m a defective parrot.”

“Holy smokes!” the guy replies. “You actually understood and answered me!”

“I got every word,” says the parrot.” I happen to be a highly intelligent, thoroughly educated bird.”

“Oh yeah?”, the guy asks, “Then answer this — how do you hang onto your perch without any feet?”

“Well,” the parrot says, “this is very embarrassing but since you asked, I wrap my willie around this wooden bar like a little hook. You can’t see it because of my feathers.”

“Wow” says the guy, “you really can understand and speak English, can’t you!?”

“Actually, I speak both Spanish and English and I can converse with reasonable competence on almost any topic: politics, religion, sports, physics, philosophy. I’m especially good at ornithology. You really ought to buy me. I’d be a great companion.”

The guy looks at the $200 price tag.” Sorry, but I just can’t afford that.”

“Pssssssst” says the parrot, “I’m defective, so the truth is, nobody wants me cause I don’t have any feet. You can probably get me for $20, just make the guy an offer!”

The guy offers $20 and walks out with the parrot. Weeks go by. The parrot is sensational. He has a great sense of humour, he’s interesting, he’s a great pal, he understands everything, he sympathises, and he’s insightful.

The guy is delighted. One day the guy comes home from work and the parrot goes “Psssssssssssst” and motions him over with one wing. “I don’t know if I should tell you this or not, but it’s about your wife and the postman.”

“What are you talking about?” asks the guy.

“When the postman delivered today, your wife greeted him at the door in a sheer black nightie and kissed him passionately.”

“WHAT???” the guy asks incredulously. “THEN what happened?”

“Well, then the postman came into the house and lifted up her nightie and began petting her all over” reported the parrot.

“My God!” he exclaims. “Then what?”

“Then he lifted up the nightie, got down on his knees and began to lick her all over, starting with her breasts and slowly going down…”

“WELL???” demands the frantic guy, “THEN WHAT HAPPENED?”

“Damned if I know. I got a hard-on and fell off my perch.”

  8. ⚠️Fake news

The Reserve Bank has been instructed by The Party to talk up house prices to create the illusion of a booming economy as the election approaches . This is to win votes from meat puppets and other human trash.

Tasman recorded the largest drop in property prices in the country in July, new figures show.

But, a local agent is warning the impact of high interest rates meant things could get worse, predicting “a bit of carnage” in September and October. 🔥🔥🔥

  10. Waimakariri District Council had slid this in their plans a few years ago so now the bureaucrats have these many guide lines to cinch into place on the citizens.

….. Outbursts included accusing Mayor Dan Gordon of “treason” and objections to the inclusion of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in the council’s annual plan. ,……
    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/protests-becoming-more-polarised-and-heated-says-canterbury-police-commander/C3B3TXQNG5FDHGLJQSRXET3624/

But note the police are there to enable the Council to continue its rulings.

Earlier note how this was insidiously slipped through.
How many other District and Regional Councils have done similiar? maybe in parts in a deceiving manner.

….the Sustainable Development Goals SDG’s were ‘‘a set of aspirational statements’’ which were first included in the 2021/31 Long Term Plan with no objections.
    https://www.odt.co.nz/star-news/star-districts/waimakariri-council-stands-firm-over-un-goal

Then that Otago article tries to cover, even defame the opponents by using “Fact Checkers” which is a poke to conspiracist theories, then pushes a scurry of “squirrels over there” on other issues.

In the mean time all of these District & Regional Councils are mostly happy to march on, supposedly blaming Central Government about compliance with many of their costly, expensive, controlling, unworkable plans.

A minimal change of government will not change that deep seated techno-bureaucracy.

National has asked the public service commissioner to investigate the handling of government contracts with a company run by Cabinet minister Peeni Henare’s partner Skye Kimura.

About $250,000 came from work for the Ministry of Health, while Henare was Associate Minister of Health.

“Conflicts of interest, whether actual, perceived or potential, can severely undermine the integrity of the public service,” the letter said.

“In this particular case, the issue is not the existence of conflicts but whether each of the contractual arrangements entered that involve Tātou have been managed appropriately at a department level due to the nature of the relationships that exist between the firm and the minister.”

  13. Listened to breakfast on RCR this morning Guy Hatchard went through the 22/23 birth and death figures compared with 21/22
Excess deaths up 14%, working age up 6%, birth rate down 28% so a 100 a week excess deaths a 737 a fotnight but no one cares.
Now this one I could not believe, working age no longer able to work up37.5% add the 6% no longer working because they are excess deaths, add all the workers that have done bunk and gone to Australia, somehow they managed to wipe out half the workforce in a year.
That is truly an enbelieveable statistic if true

    • Wombatge good points raised:—
At least some figures are still surfacing, but open discussion, debate, to bring further understanding, is still systemically curtailed.

So much more than I have quoted, to consider.
      .
….. August 16, 2023 …… 15 to 64 year olds ……. disability sufficient to preclude joining the workforce among this age group has increased by 37.5% over the same period and now stands at 14.3% of the workforce. That is huge. Why? ….
….. Nor is an ageing population sufficient explanation for the figures that is a long term gradual trend, this is a sudden rise. …..
      .
….. the machinery of government has assumed more control over our medical and food choices. ….
… None of the parties currently elected to Parliament have any plans to revoke this government overreach ….
      .
…. Pandemic policies have established a precedent allowing the government to enforce compliance with its medical rules. ….
…. Access to official public health data has been limited. …..

      https://hatchardreport.com/deaths-are-up-natural-births-are-down-and-disability-is-up/
      .
Will any government voted in be open & transparent?
Will the bureaucracy be told by an incoming government, more properly collect data, and make it freely available?

There have been another 45 in the last 3 months, many relatively young, in their 40s. She keeps trying to say the jab must have something to do with it but just gets “shouted” down.

    • BN, the repercussions of this Bill and the Maorification from this are enormous for this country. When I have time, I will put up a post on a local business here, in the darkest King Country, which a close mate runs and which will be forced to close down because of the requirements of this Bill. The business produces the basics of what you need to live by every day.

This Bill, the Natural and Built Environment Bill are very anti competitive and will be an absolute disaster for this country. Another Labour, poorly thought out, monumental fuck-up.

Across the Western world, anger at a woke ruling elite is benefiting the Right – apart from in Britain

Almost wherever one looks, from New Zealand to the Netherlands, hundreds of millions no longer feel in control, valued or even consulted by the self-satisfied ruling class. In the UK, 70 per cent believe the country is moving in the wrong direction, a YouGov poll reveals. An NBC poll found 74 per cent of Americans saying their country is on the wrong track.

      • How to save Twitter videos
While Twitter made it easy to save photos with just a few taps, it’s a different story for videos and GIFs. Twitter doesn’t provide a built-in save button to download videos on its platform. While that’s a bummer, it’s not impossible to download videos from Twitter.

With the use of third-party apps, users can save Twitter videos to their phones, computers and tablets.

How to change your Twitter handle? Revamp your Twitter profile by giving it a new username.

Using a web browser on laptop or PC
Open Twitter in a new tab and find the tweet with the video you would like to download.
Copy the link of the video by right clicking the video and click on “copy video address.”
In another tab, open Twitter Video Downloader or SaveTweetVid and paste the URL in the text box and click Download.
Twitter Video Downloader and SaveTweetVid, both have the option to select video quality before final download.
SaveTweetVid also has a QR code option that can be scanned on your phone or tablet to download the video directly to your smart device. Just scroll down on the download page to find the QR.

  15. Part of the latest Tax payer’s Union email . If any knows of a way to link an email (ie not just a copy and paste) , to a comment please tell us how .

“Chris Hipkins said he’s put Jacinda Ardern’s Labour’s most controversial policies on the ‘policy bonfire’ – at least until after the election. But as you’ll see below, it’s a ruse.

The Labour Party are getting desperate. They are trying to trash democratic norms to ram through a stalking horse for their own electoral self-interest.

Last night we spotted that Local Government Minister Kieran McAnulty has very quietly introduced to Parliament a last minute bill to change the voting age for local body elections from 18 to 16.

McAnulty The Electoral (Lowering Voting Age for Local Elections and Polls) Legislation Bill was given just a few seconds of time for the title to be read out in Parliament and tabled.

The Bill establishes a new category of electors, named “youth electors”, and provides for 16-year-olds and 17-year-olds to be registered on a youth electoral roll to vote in council elections. Incredibly, this move to change the voting age has barely been mentioned by the media.

Normally, a Ministerial press release alerts media when the Government is introducing a significant bill to Parliament. But Kieran McAnulty’s media team have been unusually quiet. There is not a single piece of Beehive communications that mentions the Bill.

We’ve spent the morning working through the Bill (it is surprisingly complex as electoral rolls are used for not just local and general elections, but also jury duty pools and various trust elections).

What is clear is that a significant amount of work has gone into this Bill and Labour are not simply kicking the tires on the idea.

Ross, we think Labour are gambling on just slipping this one through – probably under urgency next week. Labour may be betting that if they can get this through quietly, it’ll just stay on the books after the election without public outcry to repeal it.

Make no mistake , this is a stalking horse to ready New Zealand for 16 year olds to vote at elections – a change that would greatly benefit Labour and the Greens.

Instead of having a national conversation to build consensus for change (or not), the Government is abusing the final few weeks of its absolute majority in Parliament.

We say that the voting age is one of the most fundamental decisions in a democratic society. Any changes should be decided through a referendum, not sneaked through unnoticed or under urgency. “

    • This is very concerning, what do 16 year olds know about how life is? Most live at home attending school or not as the case may be, They think money grows on trees, as most parents give their kids whatever they want, allow them to skip school and don’t think of their learning as they go straight on the dole. It’s a ruse to get liarbor back into power. WHY the fuck did the rest of the useless parliamentarians not stop this madness FFS. We are so fucked. Imagine if liarbor, greens and Maori get back into power we will be living in an early settler camp with Stone Age people lording it over us.

      • “Imagine if liarbor, greens and Maori get back into power we will be living in an early settler camp with Stone Age people lording it over us.”

Lizzie, we are now. Try getting Resource Consent to build anything. Here, the Ruapehu District Council and the Horizons Regional Council were to fund a small bridge over the PungaPunga River (a tributary of the person that is the Wanganui River). This is so that a Go Crat Track which has lost its access to their track which is on Council Reserve can be used. It is the only sealed Go Kart Track between Auckland and Palmerston North. Everything was go, Hori had been consulted, given an initial nod of approval and then the same Hori went along to both Councils and said, oh by the way we own not only the river bed but the air above the river bed and we have not given you approval to put a river crossing through the air, only from river bank to river bank, So guess what, the Councils have walked away. No use of the Go Kart Track. No use of the Council Reserve. Just backward thinking Hori, lording it over Councils and their Ratepayers.

  16. I’ve seen videos of tent cities in the USA, but nothing this bad. This clip starts out with nothing you wouldn’t see in other areas of cities across the world, but then things get much worse… the filth and drug use is terrible. The title is called ”Kensington Philadelphia on a Friday Morning – Can it get any Worse?” What I can’t work out is whether the shops are yet to open, or whether the shops are closed for good. My guess would be the latter. But the thing that gets me is the vibe I get from this video is much better than the vibe I have gotten from different areas of South Auckland. In SA you get packs of people looking for trouble. Our welfare system means they don’t have to scrape a living on the streets. Don’t get me wrong – the people you see in this clip would all be packing. They may look docile, but their knifes and the odd gun would deal to any trouble maker wanting to try their luck.

    From the comments section:

    ”@terrenceohanlon2499
I spent most of my police career working in Kensington and it was ALWAYS bad but the open drug use and addicts camped out or laying on the sidewalk is worse then I’ve ever seen it. Someone needs to fix this. My mind is absolutely blown. The drug epidemic in this country can and must be fixed. I’m speechless. When did we decide as a country to give up on our fellow humans. That’s what this is…giving up. These are ppl. Sons and daughters, mothers and fathers. Heart breaking.”

  17. From Helen Houghton – New Conservatives.

    “Potential Alliance talks

Because many people have asked us to join up with other parties to work together last night, the New Conservatives Deputy and I met with Alfred Ngaro, leader of NewZeal, and Matt King from Democracy NZ to discuss any potential alliance. Leighton Baker also planned to attend but had been informed that his party had been registered, so he celebrated that instead. While I went in intending to work together with the other three leaders believing that the four powerhouse leaders could work together to get us the required 5% threshold, Matt King thinks he will win his Northland seat and said it would confuse the voters and jeopardize his seat and Alfred, also excited about their party new brand from the One Party to NewZeal decided not to work together. It was opening up a potential only, and while it was decided not to go further, it was great to talk with these good people who, like us, want to do the best for NZ, so it is full steam ahead for me now as I continue to travel and hold meetings as well as attending interviews.

    • It is sort of interesting as I have heard an independent character in my electorate is looking to stand as the current standing Nat. MP., has long ago worn out any of her value.

Later I will need to look & understand more of just what the overhang effect is calculated.
And how & where that benefit goes to from the Not Achieved minor candidates and those minor party votes.
If what I hear, then maybe this will become very interesting. 🙂

The point in part is that electorate MP’s do not like having a “slim” majority, for what ever reason.
If it is from a minor party, they will more than likely look into to the actual differences, & look how to placate what different concern is in a hope I gaining that vote next time round.

The changes mean the likely funding of road improvements along SH1 from Cambridge to Piarere, Wellington CBD to the Airport, and the Christchurch Northern link.

It will also fund Napier to Hastings along SH2, the Hope Bypass on SH6 and Tauranga to Tauriko SH29.

    These will include four-laning.

    • BN, this is every reason for this bunch of Weasels to take the sack of shit they call the Labour Party and fuck off into oblivion.

It the suggestion of an increase in fuel taxes is not enough to vote them out by the non thinkers, then the non suggestion of a Road User Charge on EV Vehicles on the equivalent at least that of Diesel Vehicles, surely that is enough to vote these cunts out and into oblivion.

I hope this is the absolute end of Hipkins, the fat faggot of a Finance Minister and the sly Weasel that is McNulty for ever and they become unemployed for that considerable length of time. And they can take the rest of the shower of shit with them.

  19. Immigration New Zealand reveals 115 migrants, six Auckland properties at centre of exploitation probe after Newshub uncovers horrific conditions

At least 100 migrants, six properties and several companies are now at the centre of a complex Immigration New Zealand (INZ) probe.

The development follows a Newshub investigation that uncovered dozens of men crammed into filthy, run-down properties in south Auckland.

  20. ‘Vaccine hesitant”…sure…let’s stick with that shall we? //

Former University of Otago worker awarded $20,000 compensation after Covid dismissal

A ‘vaccine hesitant’ worker at the University of Otago was shocked to be sacked after a mandatory vaccination policy was introduced.

Louisa Baillie was employed as an anatomical model fabricator, in November 2017, with that work involving conservation, design and production of anatomy museum models used for teaching and research. But her employment ended on March 9 in 2022.

  21. At it again

Senior figures at the Reserve Bank have an alarming record of just making stuff up (and getting away with it). Just last week, documents showed that the Board chair had told entirely made-up stories to Treasury, apparently trying to rewrite history, in turn leading an incurious Treasury to lie to the media. And on several occasions the Governor has been found actively misleading Parliament’s Finance and Expenditure Committee.

    • Mike Reddell is very good. The incoming Government would be well advised to employ him (and a few others) on a casual/consultancy basis to give brutal independent advice. (I’m assuming Mike does not want a full time job).
It is clear the Government, who ever it is, cannot rely on the Wellington swamp for rigorous, intelligent advice any more.

  23. Possibly the dumbest headline anyone should accept as factual.

Why people should be eating New Zealand grass

The report, Unleashing Aotearoa New Zealand’s next protein revolution, looked at 10 kinds of non-animal proteins, from lab-based products (cell-cultured meat and milk, and precision fermentation) to plant-based proteins (greens, hemp, oats, legumes) to fungi, insects, seaweed, air fermentation and microalgae.

Just one example: a government research study into invasive gorse species in Scotland, conducted by Professor Wendy Russell at the University of Aberdeen

She found gorse contains 17 percent protein and broom has 21 percent protein, meaning gorse bushes could produce enough protein to feed millions of people.

  25. More people than expected are dying in Canada in 2023 for reasons that are not yet clear

Estimated excess mortality dipped in January and February, but the latest 2023 figures indicate it is about 15 per cent to 20 per cent higher than it was in 2020 and 2021, according to Tara Moriarty, an infectious-disease researcher and co-founder of the grassroots group COVID-19 Resources Canada.

In his arrogance and ignorance, luxflakes has once again proven that he doesn’t read rooms very well (If at all), or realise that, because of his stupid dismissal of the ‘toilets’ issue he’s just lost some female votes.

‘I’m luxflakes, vote for ME cos ‘I’ know what’s important , and that issue ISN’T!’ (And by implication neither are women).

  27. I have a grandchild with type 1 diabetes. I have long suspected that a childhood vaccine was the cause. When I was growing up I only ever came across one person with this disease. Steve Kirsch has just released a substack on this which proposes that 75% of cases are caused by vaccines. He is likely on the money with this imo.

    • A really good mate of mine and his missus both swear their daughter changed overnight after her 2nd mmr jab, was never the same and is now a lil bit special.
That was 11 or 12 yrs ago now and theyve been full on antivax since that day. They rekon loud happy curious lil toddler one day and quiet shy hesitant the next day and been like it ever since, autistic like but quite mild but enough to interfere with learning and the way she interacts socially.

How Did They Ever Let This Air On TV?

    The Jimmy Dore Show

In 1998 Saturday Night Live aired a cartoon titled “Conspiracy Theory Rock”. The animated segment pointed out how corrupt our media system has become with just a few corporations controlling virtually all the news we see and hear. The cartoon aired just once and was subsequently dropped from all later re-airings on NBC.

  29. Customers need to be able to afford the loan before signing on the dotted line. Doh //

    https://www.1news.co.nz/2023/08/17/predatory-illegal-car-loans-putting-kiwis-into-financial-hardship/
Car loan companies are increasingly putting people into financial hardship, with unaffordable loans that experts believe are unlawful.

Auckland Central Budgeting Manager Tim Maurice says he sees many instances of companies breaching the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act.

“It is very clear under the CCCFA that a loan that is unaffordable is unlawful,” Maurice says.

“They need to do an affordability assessment, to check the income and expenses to make sure they can afford it, they are not doing that most of the time.”
